TLDR: Paper Mario: The Origami King is my favorite game ever.

I don’t think anyone understands just how important Paper Mario: The Origami King is to me. If 10 year old me hadn’t decided to check the Nintendo E-Shop that day, I would have never discovered and gotten attached to this glorious game. My life would have never been the same. This game is all I think about. The community is filled with amazing people that I otherwise never would have met.

I’m not a professional when it comes to judging games. But to me, PMTOK is a nice mix of comedy and tragedy, with cool, fun, unique characters and beautiful, well-designed areas to explore. So many secrets, so many challenges, so many glorious moments.

This game made me who I am today. Sure, maybe I would have focused a lot more on something else I enjoy to fill the gaps, like FNAF or Pokemon. Maybe I would have gotten attached to a new, different fandom, like Pikmin or Undertale. But something about Paper Mario TOK keeps me coming back for more.

Thank you, Nintendo, for blessing this world with this beautiful, hilarious, heart-wrenching game.

Imagine being sucked into the digital circus as a person with really bad sensory issues. Like. Everything is a bright color, Caine is constantly screaming In your face, that weird music coming from who knows where never stops playing, and you can’t even retreat to your room because it’s just as bright and just as painful. Hi! I’ve collected photos of pumpkin spice products for 8 years now. It started out as a game I played by myself, but I started getting pms from friends, and now I invite anyone to play. I make everyone follow some particular rules:

1. The products must be real, and the picture you send me must be taken by you or someone you know.

2. The product must say the word “pumpkin” and the word “spice” to qualify. “Pumpkin pie” doesn’t count.

3. I only want one photo of each product, no duplicates. I want a new photo of that product each year however.

Anyway, since I’ve been collecting these photos for so long, I thought it would be cool to share some of my faves, and some of the weirdest ones.

so i decided a couple of years ago to track how many words of fanfic i’ve read (using my calculator app) and i’ve continued doing this for a while. it’s had a few hiccups and it’s not an entirely accurate number because some fics haven’t had word counts or when i originally made the count, i might have missed numbers or whatever. But i decided today to use a word to page calculator and found out i’ve read about 18,000 pages of fanfic in the past couple of years. this doesn’t include any of my regular books.
