explanation: it's a pun. The word "привид" means 'ghost' and it sounds similar to the word "привід", meaning something like 'reason/excuse'. So Crowley took the phrase "це не привід для жартів" ("this is no joking matter") and made it "це не привид для жартів" (doesn't make much sense but sounds like "this isn't a ghost for jokes")
