can you believe the only thing i watched on your list was back to the future? i havent had the opportunity to watch the others, but i've heard of most of them (and want to watch them)

ahh, except for victorious. i've watched a few episodes, but i'm more of an icarly person (every once in a while i binge watch it) :)

honestly, i think my favourite part of the presentation was watching my friend's performance. we played an adaptation of the addams family musical. he played lurch and it was SO amazing! i liked our dance bit as well but it was quite stressful (we were all so nervous!) and our three minute song seemed to be like 30 seconds long when we were dancing so.......it was weird jfnwkfnekfnsj

i like pluto a lot as well (i know that technically it isnt a planet anymore but its too precious! justice for pluto!!!!). its a bit hard to research about it because in greek mythology there's pluto, who later became hades, and plutus, son of demeter with a mortal man. the planet's name is from hades as far as i know, and i must admit i LOVE hades. the man is just so precious. i dont know if im biased because of lore olympus (i read the webtoon a few years ago. never finished it, but liked it so much) or if i actually have canon reasons to love him, i just know i do.

ahh, back to the future is my all-time favorite film! what did you think of it? have you also seen sequels? if not, i highly recommend that you watch them! the second installment in the trilogy takes a weird route, but the third movie perfectly ties it all together i promise!

yesss, icarly and victorious are the perfect shows to watch for a nostalgic binge-watching session! i don’t blame you for preferring icarly because the show lasted a bit longer and, unlike victorious, it had a proper series finale that’s actually canon. although, i still personally prefer victorious because for some reason i like the friendship dynamic between the main characters better. (oh, and sikowitz. who doesn’t love his endearing eccentricities?)with that being said, what are your favorite episodes of icarly? who, in your opinion, is the best character?

omg that’s awesome!! that must’ve been such a blast to do an adaptation of the addams family musical! you guys must’ve had so much fun, especially when singing the famous theme song! and yes, stage fright is extremely terrifying—there is no doubt about that! the thought of performing in front of a bunch of people can immediately place you into a state of apprehensiveness. but once you go out there, all those nerves just dissipate and as you said, a 3 minute song feels like 30 seconds. time really goes by when you’re preoccupied.

honestly? pluto still is and forever will be a planet despite what anyone else has to say about it. are we just going to completely disregard what we learned in elementary school about all the planets? hell no. we should start a sociopolitical movement called ‘justice for pluto’ because it doesn’t deserve this slander. also, i just finished reading the 20th issue of the ‘lore olypmus’ webtoon you mentioned and you’re absolutely right about hades being precious! he’s so in love with persephone (who’s also incredibly adorable herself) hopefully, minthe won’t try to ruin anything between them because they’re so friggin cute. i wonder, if deimos is in this story too? that’d be a nice addition!

1) Hiya! Honestly I think it would be best to get comfortable with more realistic proportions before you branch out into cartoon/anime style! I did it the other way round and I regret it a lot, bc I think it made my foundations really shaky and inconsistent. THAT’S NOT TO SAY u have to master the traditional art style before u start drawing any cartoons though!! I think it’s fine to do them together, just don’t neglect traditional anatomy and all that, bc it will help you a lot in the future regardless of the style you eventually choose to stick to!

THe coloured outline of shadows that alot of artists do is an exaggeration of how it looks in rl but it is pretty neat bc it makes the object look like it’s glowing haha

1) I like using poses from magazines to study anatomy!! I either follow blogs that post magazine scans or I buy them myself when i can! Another thing I’ve found rly helpful was using fitness books/ videos as references… like those for muscle-building/ weight lifters, where there are diagrams of which muscles are working for a specific exercise. YOUTUBE has a lot of fitness videos, just type xxx workout, pause the video at any random frame, and u should be able to get a nice reference to study muscles with!! If u want references for the muscles themselves, some good books I’ve found helpful are: Strength training Anatomy and Anatomy for sculptors (I can give them to you off anon if you’d like)!

TOO SCARED TO TELL - Aaron Hotchner x Reader

Characters: Aaron Hotchner x Y/N Y/L/N, mentions of the team and a Greg guy (you´ll see who this is)

Warnings: angst (thihihiihi), hurt/comfort, yelling, also mentions of abuse (only slight and not specific)

A/N: YAAAAS my lazy ass finally wrote something again! of course it´s something angsty! since i havent written in forever, feedback is more then appreciated!! enjoy loves and merry christmas to those who celebrate! <3

“Sorry, I´m late.”, Y/N said in a rushed voice as she quickly entered the conference room and sat down next to Emily. She immediatley began to look through the file in front of her of the case which Garcia was presenting to the team. While she did so, everybody kept starring at her. 

“What?”, she asked confused. 

“Nothings, it´s just you´re never late.”, Spencer said and gave Y/N a shy smile.

“Yeah...it´s just I forgot to set my alarm and then I missed the metro and my car is still broken so I had to walk here.”, Y/N reasoned, hoping that her team mates would let the topic go.

“Why didn´t you just call me? I´m only living two blocks away from you.”, Aaron asked and looked at her. Something about her seemed weird today. She looked stressed, scared and frightened even. She had deep, dark bags underneath her eyes, giving away that she hasn´t slept much recently. Also, she started to bit her nails again and didn´t dare to look anyone in the eyes. Aaron knew these signs all too well and he was hoping that he was wrong about it and that she was just having trouble getting some well deserved sleep. 

“Yeaah..well, I thought you were still or already here but it doesn´t matter now because I´m here, so can we please carry on?”, Y/n begged and looked at the tech analyst who looked at her boss. He nodded at which Garcia continued. He would let it go, for now. 

After the incident, Garcia continued to present the case. It seemed to be a local one. A couple of home invasions where after the families were robbed out, they were all killed. The team tried to from a quick profile on their unsub and came to the conclusion that there must be a gang who committed those crimes. Hotch split the tasks and everybody was ready to go. Of course Aaron had assigned Y/N to go with him. He needed to keep an eye on her. As everybody slowly got up to get working, Y/N´s phone rang for like the thousand time today, but instead of taking the call, she declined it...again.

“You okay?”, Aaron asked as everybody had already left the room. 

“Yeah, it was nothing important. Let´s get going.”, she answered and just as she was about to gather her stuff and get going, the phone rang again. Y/N sighed and picked the phone out again, her hands shaking. It was the same ID, but she didn´t need to chek it, she knew who it was anyway. 

“Maybe you should take the call. It kinda seems important to the one calling.”, Hotch suggested as he left the room to get his stuff. Y/N accepted the call with shaky hands. 

“Hello?”, she said, her voice barely above a whisper. 

“What took you so long to answer that damn phone?”, the caller said angrily. 

“I´m at work, Greg. What do you expect me to do?”, she answered confidently. 

“What I expect you to do is to answer that freaking phone and talk to me. I want you to come to my place now. We need to talk.”

“No, there is nothing to talk about. It´s over, a long time. Now leave me the fuck alone.”, and with that, Y/N ended the call and smasehd her phone on the floor, angrily wiping away the tears that spilled down her cheeks. Hothc, who had watched the entire interaction from outside, came to his friends side. He carefully touched her shoulder at which she jumped. 

“Hey, it´s just me.”, he said and she quickly hugged him tight. He wrapped her in his arms and slowly sat them down on the small couch in the room. After a while, whe she had calmed down, she leaned back. 

“Sorry...”, Y/N said as she wiped away the remaining tears on her cheeks. 

“Nothing to be sorry about.”, he answered and gave her a small reassuring smile before he continued, “what´s going on?”

Y/N began to shiver and started to pick at her nails. Aaron immediatley put his hand onto hers which caused her to stop. 

“Hey, talk to me.”, he tried again. Y/N sighed. She wouldn´t get him to back off anyway, so she started to talk. 

“Y-You remember Greg?”

“Your ex-boyfriend that...”, he started but quickly stopped as he looked at Y/N´s shivering form. 

“Yeah, well...he just got out of prison and now, he started to contact me.”

“WHAT? And you´re just telling me now?”, Hotch exclaimed as he got up quickly. 

“Yes, because I knew this would be the way you reacted to this. I can handle it.”

“Well, what else do you expect, Y/N? He hurt you, abused you day in, day out, he almost killed you..”

“I KNOW AARON. I WAS THERE.”, the young woman screamed which got the agent to stop. 

“He got out of prison two days ago and came to my flat. I don´t know how he knew about it. He wanted to talk about everything but I slammed the door in his face. After that, the harassment didn´t stop and he keeps calling me, threatening that if I don´t come back to him that something bad will happen.”, Y/N explained, not daring to look Hotch in the eyes. 

“Why didn´t you tell me earlier, Y/N? You should not be going through this all alone. We´re family. We can help you.”, the unit chief said as he slowly sat down next to his friend. 

“I´m scared, Hotch. Scared for my life and your all lives because we brought him into prison. I just want this to finally be over. I just wanna live my life in freedom.”, Y/N sobbed, “I don´t know what to do.”

Aaron hugged her tightly. He was angry, mad even. His heart broke for his friend. She has been through so much already. Wasn´t once enough?

“We´ll figure something out, Y/N. He won´t get near you ever again. You´re safe with us, I promise. You are not alone.”

Y/N clinged to him for dear life, really wanting to believe him. 

“I promise you´ll be safe with me!”, Aaron whispered to her. God, how he hated to be right.

First surgery: okAY so like i've had 2 procedures done on my eyes lmaooo like (1) when i was a smol beb of like 1 yr old i rolled off my bed aaaannnnddd the corner of my eye hit the edge of the sharp corner of the bedside table!!! and then y1ke$ things got ugly loll (((yes, i wuz dum + clumsy since the day i popped from the womb))) its all stitched up now and i hav a tinie tinie scar aslkdgs okay and (2) there was something weird abt my tearducts LOL so u know when u get sad nd stuff ur nose gets runny and u sniff a lot??? well like that wasn't the case for me bc the passage way from my eyes to my nose was completely blocked off,,,,, which resulted in me lookin like i was full blown cryin like every 2 seconds... like if i kept my eyes open for too long my eyes would get watery and tears would flow out LMAO ,,,, i looked like i just never stopped crying,,, but it was just my eyes were just ALWAYS WATERING sdlgjsdif damn u have no idea after the procedure i was like 'do ppl live like this??? not having to wipe tears every 0.2 sec??? oh my god,,, i am livin THE LIFE' 

First piercing: i hav no piercings!!! Bc stabbing holes thru myself scares me sdlkjgsoidg but i love the way earrings look tho so ://///

some more bullshit that i wrote forever ago

The Commander apparently makes it habit to slip out of the base late in the evening at least once a week. The only answer about it he’d gotten was that she disliked being cooped up and that she was a tiny bit claustrophobic. She’d at least started grabbing two beers while she was out and passing one off to him when she returned, as if thanking him for keeping things running without her.

Usually she was back shortly after eleven, so he didn’t have much to worry about. So when the day comes that she’s not back by then he starts to worry. He goes to the surface at half past eleven to try calling her, but as he’s searching for her contact he spots her approaching the base.

She raises a bottle of beer in a hello, but he can’t find it in himself to be amused. “Shen’s been asking for you. I said you’d been feeling a bit feverish and had gone to bed early. You know I hate lying to them,” he says. “Your runs don’t usually take this long.”

She shrugs and offers him the bottle. “I got caught up talking. Won’t happen again,” she assures.

“Talking?” he asks. He doesn’t want to be accusatory, but she wasn’t exactly making a case for herself.

“I was flirting, alright? I ran into a woman and we hit it off.”

Of all the things he’d expected her to say, he wasn’t quite prepared to learn that the Commander had taken time while out to flirt. He expected the mix of disappointment and jealousy in his gut even less. “You’re gay?” he asks incredulously.

“Bisexual,” she corrects sharply. “I thought you read the personnel files.”

“I don’t remember any of them including sexuality on them.”

“I know for a fact that your three’s don’t. I thought mine still had a note about being ‘accused of homosexual tendencies’ on it from the nineties.”

In a few short moments, the Commander had given him too much information for his brain to handle. “You read the personnel files?” he asks at last, as if that was important at all.

“I had to do something while on a plane for fifteen hours,” she says, shrugging.

“I didn’t - That doesn’t - Nevermind. You’re bi?”

“That’s what I said, yes.” She eyes him warily as they reenter the base. “I hope that doesn’t change your opinion of me. I know Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell was repealed not even four years ago, I don’t expect everyone in the army to be okay with me, but I hope I’ve done enough to earn your respect regardless of who I spend my time with.”

He can see her readying to build walls to protect herself, and for a moment he’s hurt that she would think he’d be so judgemental. He reminds himself that just a few short years ago, she could have received an OTH discharge - and from the sound of it, almost was discharged - and wouldn’t be here now. “You can be with whoever you like,” he says once he realizes he’s been quiet for too long and making her worry. “As long as you’re happy, it doesn’t matter to me. You’re still my superior.”

She keeps looking at him, as if trying to determine if he was being genuine or not. She grins after a moment, seemingly deciding to believe him. “So if I’m unhappy you’ll step in?” she asks slyly.

He feels his face go red, and suddenly he wishes he was as good at opening bottles on random surfaces as the Commander was. “That’s not what I meant-”

“I know, I know,” she laughs. “You’re such a good boy scout, you’d never mix your work and personal lives.”

It might just be his imagination, but he thinks he sees a glint in her eye, as if hoping he’d prove her wrong.

To his disappointment, he can’t think of any words to say, much less the right ones. She smiles faintly at him, then pulls her own beer out of her coat pocket and taps it against his.

“Good night,” she says before disappearing into her room.

And a snippet from that language bullshit i mentioned before, warning i literally havent looked at this since i wrote it and things have changed also i think i used part of it for that other bit of language bullshit i posted

He finds her on the surface one evening. At first, he thinks it’s to get some fresh air and to escape the ever confining walls of the base, but as he approaches it becomes obvious that it is not the case. She is on the phone speaking a language he’s not heard anywhere else in the base, looking as though it’s a lover on the other end of the line.

He waits for a few moments after she hangs up before making his presence known. “There are phones in the base that will call outside, you know,” he says, keeping his voice light and teasing.

She jumps at the sound of his voice and shoves her phone into her pocket as though she’d been caught breaking rules. “It can be hard to hear things in the base,” she explains casually. “And it’s a bit embarrassing.”

“Plenty of people call their partners on those phones, can’t be more embarrassing than Mueller cooing to his newborn baby over the phone. It’s not like you have to pretend to be anything other than human.”

She shakes her head and bites back a laugh. “It’s not who I was talking with, which was my brother, by the way,” she explains quietly.

Relief floods him, and he doesn’t know why. “The point still stands. But if you’re not afraid of the crew teasing you for cooing over someone, then why sneak out to make a call?”

She hesitates for a moment, shifting on her feet. He finds himself reminded of bitterness and unhealed wounds. “Czech is close to my heart,” she says, voice dropping so quiet he can just barely hear her. “I really only speak it with my family and childhood friends, so I know I act different while speaking it - like I’m a kid again. Our men don’t need to see me like that, not when I’m supposed to be leading them.”

“That shouldn’t matter, though. Everyone knows you’re human, it’s a normal human thing to act differently around different people, isn’t it?”

“I suppose,” she says, shrugging. “Still, it’s a bit uncomfortable to think about, everyone listening even if they can’t understand.”

He thinks for a moment, trying to weigh if what he was about to say was a bad idea or not. “Would it be less weird if someone could understand you? If there’s no one on base that knows, you could teach… someone,” he suggests.

“I don’t need to be teased mercilessly once someone understands that I’m cooing over my family, and I have restrictions on who I’ll teach it to,” she replies, laughing. “Besides, English is the language of work for me, while Czech is the language of heart and home. You of all people should agree on keeping those separate.”

“Right,” he agrees weakly. “I’ve never heard of anyone having restrictions on who they’ll teach, though.”

“That’s mostly only because of a joke between my mom and I,” she explains with a shrug. “She’s never been completely happy that I’m… unattached, so I’d always say that she’d know when I’d found someone because I’d be sure to teach them Czech. To date, I’ve only started teaching one person, but that fell through before my family could meet... them.”

Her voice seems to tense at the mention of her ex, and although he’d like to ask questions leading down that rabbit hole, he’d already agreed that work and heart should be separate. He pauses for a second before deciding to pry a bit more, since the Commander was seemingly so willing to start showing her cards. “When did you learn English? I would have thought you born American, just listening to you.”

“I was ten when we defected. Early enough that I would eventually speak without an accent, but late enough for me to be set back in school until I graduated,” she explains.

He raises an eyebrow, curious now. “And you moved all the way to the US? With your last name-”

“Everyone thinks I’m French, I know,” she interrupts, laughing. “My dad’s American, the french name just stuck around. I purposely butcher all the French I know so no one gets the wrong idea.”

“That explains why the French council member hates talking to you so much,” he laughs.

“Do you speak anything other than English?” she asks once they’ve both stopped laughing

His grin falls and he shakes his head. “Learned French in high school and promptly forgot it. I’m lucky most of the base speaks English as a second or third language.”

“Hope I haven’t hurt your ears too much with my pronunciation, either,” she says, stifling another laugh. “Well, if you ever wanted to learn a language, you’ve basically got your choice among our people.”

“Any language I want, except Czech, apparently,” he teases before he can even think about what he’s saying.

“I never said I wouldn’t teach you,” she replies, a daring glint in her eye.

Before he can think of any words to say, a communicator beeps. They both scramble for their pockets, but it’s the Commander’s whose has gone off.

“Vahlen,” she says. “I should get down before something bad happens. Don’t stay out for too long.” With little more than a wave, she disappears back into the base, shoving her comms device back into her ear.

He’s left with his head spinning and something in his heart that he can’t put into words, not in English, at least.
