someone said the winchesters having so many parallels so early on is weird because it confirms the fact that the show can't stand on its own.

Like WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU GUYS EVEN WANT? they give us parallel, its a problem... they don't then you'll feel like there's no point watching it...

Can y'all ever be satisfied?Jenneel and CMP are doing amazing work.. the cast is great, the storyline seems cool even though 15 years make you familiar with so many monsters, the show feels like spn and yet different. There's so many parallels which make us miss our show.. the parallels make it so much more interesting and IT IS A GOOD THING.. for years we've been waiting to see some fucking confirmation and now that we're being catered well, we still have a problem that it's too soon? Jesus fucking christ I can't with this fandom.

I saw a post where someone was bitching about the Popeye cartoonist saying Popeye was nonbinary because the character was referred to as "amphibious" in the comics. They claimed that this transphobic pandering because the artist was comparing trans people to animals. And good fucking Gods, that type of behavior is exactly what I mean when I say people are too sensitive cause a simple fucking Google search would have proven that it is anything but.

Amphibious means the combining of two characteristics -- in this case masculine and feminine characteristics. The term was used in the comic strip because, first of all, the term nonbinary DID NOT YET EXIST and, second of all, it was an obvious tongue-in-cheek joke referencing Popeye's occuption as a fucking SAILOR!!!

He's called POPEYE THE SAILOR MAN FFS!!!! He spent most of his fucking life ON A BOAT IN THE WATER before going back to living on land. He lives ON LAND AND IN THE SEA!!!!

This is why we can't have nice things.
