A FIRST EDITION C.S. Lewis book about my second favorite book of the Bible- the Psalms! This was my Christmas Eve gift so I read a little of it already and it was really good! Very thought provoking.

A Yoditio! He’s an animatronic one so he moves and makes noise and interacts with props! He’s really cool!

WINGFEATHER SAGA HOODIE. This is the softest sweater I have ever owned in my life and it is so lovely- pictures do not do it justice.

Speaking of The Wingfeather Saga- my dad gave me this THAGS Journal which I was thrilled about and then my uncle, completely unrelated, gave me this quill pen and ink?! They even match?!?! So, uh, I know what I’m going to be writing in the THAGS journal with. And finally, introducing, in all his full color, dragon glory, ALMITAK!

This is the space dragon from my sci fi book series, The SOS Chronicles! I painstakingly drew a reference picture of him and gave it to my mom so she could try to custom order him for a Christmas present. It wasn’t easy, but she actually managed to work it out and I am THRILLED with the result. Pictures do not do the colors justice; the blues and purples are all swirled together in with glitter to give him a galaxy look. The gold is a little more on the wings than I drew, but it’s fine, it’s a minor thing. Also he moves and is very posable- his wings even swivel and open and close! He is super amazing and detailed and absolutely awesomeatic.

so confused

so baby Yoda is in his fifties, and the series is in 9 ABY.... so Yoditio would have been born 40 bby or so. Yaddle is roughly 500, according to some sources, but, like...

where is the Yoda-species? They must be rare, since no one even thinks to connect Grogou to the best-known Jedi of the order, but then where did this one come from? Fifty years old, even 250 years old, there must be more around somewhere?

So where are they?

My brain said: baby yoda = an oboe , Din = a bassoon. Yoditio is just bouncing behind dad as he trudges through. But also grogu mimics Din but in a higher lighter pitch because he is baby

Yessss. The soft and light sounds of the oboe matches Grogu so well! Sometimes the little squeaks come out, kinda like all the different sounds he makes.

The deep and darker sounds from a bassoon match Din, but you can also get such beautiful music that show there’s more to him. Sometimes instruments tune to the oboe, similar to how Din uses the majority of his power to help Grogu.

I really don’t be having much. It’s a modern au and teacher reader. For fic purposes Damien is Yoditio.

It didn’t take long for the last of the kids to start trickling home. Abby had already snuck up to her bedroom. That left you, Din, and Damien on the couch. Damien was eagerly eating his slice of pizza, looking between the two adults. “Papa needs a girlfriend.”

You choked on your drink, more amused than anything. “He does?”

“Mhm, tia Cara said so!”

“That’s enough, mijo,” Din said, tugging softly on a strand of Damien’s hair.

Damien laughed, moving to sit on his dad’s lap. The child tried unsuccessfully to whisper, “Ask Ms. LN to be your girlfriend. She’s so so so nice.”

Lordy! You beautiful ray of sunshine! NEW EPISODE! Thoughts?!💕

Oh boy do I have thoughts. 

First of all... I LOVE ME A GOOD OPENING AND NOT ONLY A GOOD OPENING BUT AN OPENING WITH AHSOKA TANO!!! 

THE FOG CREATING THE MYSTERY WAS AMAZING 

Okay but then Din's dad's voice. I love him so much, it's unfair. 

Also, hate the village lady, she's so mean. Like do what you want with your own followers, but leave the village alone!

I also love how whenever din wants to go somewhere yoditio gets put in the pouch. It cracks me up. 

OKAY, WHEN LITTLE YODITO SUNK DOWN FURTHER INTO THE POUCH BECAUSE HE WAS SCARED!! I audibly cried. 

OMG, THE SCARY LADY HAS BESKAR WHAT THE HECK!! WHERE ARE THESE RANDOM PEOPLE GETTING IT?!

Also, Din is so smart, I love how he always is one step ahead of everyone. Like he didn't tell the scary lady that he needs to find a Jedi, he just waited. He's so smart. I love him. 

OMG FIGHT SCENE BETWEEN DIN AND AHSOKA! Amazing. 

The actor really captured her mannerisms and I love it. 

Its so cool how her and yodito can communicate. Like that's gotta feel so good for him. 

Also, I love din pacing. He's such a dad. 

Now with Grogu being his name, I almost wonder if it is going to stick around. Because with Din, we only heard his name once, to learn it. But since then nobody has spoken to it. 

Also when din said grogu and yoditio practically broke his neck turning to his dad killed me. 

I actually think it was so smart for Ahsoka to not train grogu. As she said, attachment can cause so much grief in jedis. 

(WHEN SHE WAS TAKING ABOUT ANAKIN I CRIED)

But personally, I think she made a smart decision. However, I do wonder how the seeing stone is going to go. 

ALSO WHEN DIN SAID ITS TIME TO SAY GOODBYE I WAS LITERALLY CRYING. TEARS WERE FALLING FROM MY EYES IN NOT A PRETTY WAY. 

I really hope that they dont break apart because I love them way too much. 

But, those are practically all my thoughts.
