For such a small wedding, you can't believe the mountains of gifts that you and Jeonghan received from your family and friends. You don’t even know where to start and with your husband's nature of procrastination, it’s going to take you a long time to discover what’s covered by the colorful wrappers.
But you have to start somewhere so ignoring your husband's pleas to just have a quiet morning, you ask him to pick one to open.
“How about we start with Seungkwan’s?” Jeonghan suggests, lazily sipping on his hot brewed coffee. “It looks like a jar, don’t you think so?”
You sigh and scratch your neck in contemplation. You give your dearest friend’s gift an observation and you know what, Jeonghan might be onto something. It’s not just any ordinary mason glass jar. It’s actually pretty big, like you can put candies and other treats. The shape is also similar to the typical swear jars you see from watching reality shows.
You purse your lips and clap your hands. “Alright, let’s start with Seungkwan’s jar.”
You pick it up with ease and you’re surprised that it’s lightweight. Afterwards, you take the space beside your husband on the couch who’s about to fall asleep again unless you nudge him from his daze.
He chuckles nonchalantly and embraces your waist with one of his arms.
“It’s so light,” you describe as you rip the wrapper apart. “Maybe it’s just air? Or you know, those little colorful stars project during elementary school?”
Jeonghan just agrees with your deducting abilities, finding it endearing. If you’re like this over one gift among the hundreds, it will take you weeks or maybe even months. He doesn’t see a problem though. He won’t mind you investigating these wedding gifts as long as he gets to hold you like this.
“Oh!” You exclaim once it’s naked from the paper material. But your reaction is short-lived as you further examine the contents inside. “Eh? Are these papers?”
Jeonghan leans for a closer look, his interest piqued. “Letters, maybe?”
“Seungkwan already cried so much when he talked to us after the wedding,” you remind him with a roll of your eyes. “Why would he write us thousands of letters?”
Jeonghan also dramatically rolls his eyes at you. “Then open one.”
“Okay,” you say but not before placating his frown with a kiss on the cheek. You hold the lid and twist it open then pull one of the folded papers out.
What did your first kiss with your spouse feel like?
You burst out laughing once you finally read what’s written on the paper. You show it to your confused husband and he laughs along in both amusement and disbelief.
“What is this?” You ask and pick another one but Jeonghan stops you before you can open it. “What?”
“Answer the question first,” he says and take the jar from your hold.
“Of course it felt good,” you tell him what he wants but not meet his eyes.
“Eyyy,” he teases and pinches the tip of your nose. “I’m sure it was more than good.”
“Shut up.” You push his hand away and he lets you be.
“I have to say, your lips locked with mine felt good too so we’re on the same page.”
You can’t believe you married this man, but that’s not the point right now. You wait for him to pick the next question this time and once again, it cracks the two of you up.
What is the strangest gift your spouse ever bought for you?
“Do you remember the silver utensil set you bought me?” Jeonghan asks, tears from laughing too much lining his eyes. “You were so annoyed whenever I accidentally brought your spoon or fork to my apartment you had to buy me a set.”
You try to catch your breath but the reminder makes you fail.
“You gave me a pet rock, Jeonghan,” you fight back in between the laughter. “I don’t think a set of utensils is stranger than that.”
“Excuse me,” he says, offended. “You kept that pet rock like a child and even bought more accessories.”
“Well, you brought the unopened box of utensils you’re complaining about here, wanting to show it to your future children.”
“I wasn’t complaining about it,” he defends himself and childishly pushes you. “I was asking if you remember because I treasure it the most.”
Your heart skips a beat but you don’t tell him that and just snatch the jar from him.
“Anyway, last question for today because I want to shower now,” you say and Jeonghan nods mischievously, definitely plotting something.
When did you know that you one hundred percent wanted to marry them?
Jeonghan puts a hand on his nape, suddenly shy about the question. You stare at him, who’s avoiding your eyes. You laugh and shake your head.
“Should I recite my vows again?” Jeonghan jokes and takes the jar away from you, placing it on the center table.
You snuggle close to him, hugging his waist and resting your face on the crook of his neck. “For me, it was when you exchanged your shoes for Hoshi when you noticed his feet were bleeding.”
Jeonghan pulls a face in bewilderment and you just give him a look, telling him you’re dead serious.
“It was your selflessness and sacrifice, okay?”
“I didn’t know that.” He accepts your answer and hugs you tighter. “I knew I wanted to marry you during that one time we were arguing and you were stubbornly asserting your point.”
Now you’re the one looking at him incredulously. He just laughs at your reaction and kisses your forehead.
“What does that supposed to mean?”
“It means you never give up on me even though I get annoying,”
“Huh?” You ask again but he just pulls you closer again.
“Shhh. Let’s nap for now,” he says, closing his eyes. “Those first three questions made me tired.”

You’ve been expecting your lovers to return from shooting a Going Seventeen episode for some time, and when the front door to your apartment opens, you turn with a smile… only to be met with a blatantly irritated Joshua and a Jeonghan who looks to be attempting to talk the American down from his rage.
“It was just a bit of water.” Jeonghan says, closing the door behind them.
“Just a bit of water.” Joshua mumbles, taking off his jacket and tossing it onto the back of a chair in your kitchen. His eyes scan you up and down, and you offer a small smile, tilting your head at your boyfriend.
Joshua lets out a humming sound, and you see some of the tension leave his shoulders when he takes a deep breath, “come here.” He holds his hands out for you and you turn the stove off, setting the lid on your pot to keep soup warm while you humour your lover and step into his embrace.
Joshua’s hands slip around your waist, and he pulls you close to his chest, looking down at you with a defeated expression, “Jeonghan was mean today.”

Seventeen: when you have strange fantastical rumors surrounding you
Just laughs: seungcheol, jeonghan, joshua, vernon
Low-key believes the rumors: jun, dino, seungkwan
Starts researching about it because they deny it: wonwoo, woozi, minghao
Refuses to believe it at first but then starts thinking about it a lot: hoshi, dokyeom, dino
Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Joshua, Vernon: They don't believe it at all. Just because you're very into history and vintage fashion doesn't mean that you're reincarnated and immortal. They find the rumors to be complete nonsense but they also enjoy telling others that it's true to tease them.
Jun, Mingyu, Seungkwan: The rumors keep surfacing and as your lover, they can't help but hear about it. They think that it is a possibility that you're immortal/reincarnated but at the same time, they keep denying it. Basically, they do believe it but they want to believe that they don't believe it.
Wonwoo, Woozi, Minghao: Okay, these guys would also find it to be complete nonsense. They would continuously deny it but then there's always this small voice in their head asking, “what if it is true?”. They would research a bit on the internet and then upon realizing how dumb they seem, researching and stuff, they just continue to deny your fantastical rumors.
Hoshi, Dokyeom, Dino: At first, they would firmly deny it. They don't believe in such supernatural things and would laugh at the rumors. That's when they slowly start thinking of the reasons why you have these rumors in the first place. The theory of why you're immortal/reincarnated slowly gets to them and they start putting the pieces together, thinking that IT DOES MAKE SENSE.
6/13/21 - 11:52 am
a/n: Another playlist today + the tracklist! I'm excited for the unit songs and the other B-Sides!! + I want to start dancing again, perhaps I'll learn something... I'm thinking Itzy ‘마.피.아. In The Morning’, TXT ‘0X1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You)’, or Enhypen ‘Fever’... hmm...

Good luck with your performance today ^^ (1)
You stared at your phone, the little ‘1’ by your message still there, indicating that your boyfriend had yet to see it. It was strange that he hadn’t responded, much less read it, considering you sent it eight hours ago. You were with your band mates in the waiting room while other groups performed ahead of you.
“Where are you going?” your manager asked.
“Bathroom,” you replied.
“Okay, don’t take too long.”
The hallway was bustling with stylists, makeup artists, managers, and other idols as you maneuvered your way to the crowd. You finally made it to the bathroom but not before bumping into a familiar face.
“Jeonghan, hi.” Since the two of you debuted the same year, there was no need for formalities. Besides, everyone knew of your groups’ friendship, so an interaction like this one wasn’t likely to spark rumors.
“Huh? Oh, hi.” Your boyfriend’s voice was short. This wasn’t like him. Usually, even in public, he’d greet you with a warm smile, but today he looked… out of it.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah, fine.” And that’s when you knew he was lying.
You looked around to make sure no one saw you before grabbing his arm and pulling him into the stairwell. “What’s wrong?” you prodded.
“Nothing, I’m fine.”
“Jeonghan, I know you better than that and you know better than to try to lie to me like this. You can trick everyone else, but not me.”
He didn’t say anything for a while, only staring out the window of the broadcasting building. Finally, he sighed. “Okay, fine. I’m upset.”
You furrowed your eyebrows at him. “At me?”
“No, not really.”
“What do you mean by ‘not really’?”
“Jeonghan,” you chided.
“It’s the rumors, okay? I’m mad about the rumors.”
“Rumors? What rumors—” Oh. Just last week, a tweet went viral from a netizen stating they saw two people on a date. They didn’t write your name directly, but they alluded to you and your co-star, Yoo Sangkyun, whom you were starring in a drama with. To make matters worse, the netizen even uploaded a blurry photo of the two of you, your backs to the camera. The truth was that Sangkyun was walking you out after dinner had wrapped up while your manager went to pull the van around. You didn’t think much of it because both of you were just friends. In fact, Sangkyun often told you about how much he loved his girlfriend and how he would buy her flowers every week. “Jeonghan, you know those aren’t true—”
“I know it’s not true, but why hasn’t your company said anything?”
“Maybe they’re just trying to milk it for the drama. You know, PR stuff.”
“It’s annoying. Can’t you talk to your CEO or something?”
“You know I don’t have a say in any of those things.” He did know, but that didn’t stop him from being annoyed. He didn’t hate the rumors themselves, but he hated reading the comments about how you and Sangkyun had so much chemistry and that they couldn’t imagine you with anyone else. It irked him to no end. That should be him that they’re saying that about. But of course, being idols, it’s hard to go public with your relationships—one could only imagine the sheer chaos for both sides if either of your fans found out. Besides, the industry was already grueling enough, neither of you wanted external drama. You’d gone almost a year already dating Jeonghan in secret, and things had been fine up until this point.
Your phone pinged with a message from your manager.
Where are you? It’s showtime.
“I have to go,” you told him.
“Whatever,” he replied. Your heart dropped with his cold words, doing your very best not to cry as you opened the door of the stairwell. Your stylists would not be happy having to redo your makeup again right before you had to go on stage.
Your performance passed by in a blur, your body and voice going through the motions but never fully present. All you could think about was your conversation with Jeonghan just moments prior. Thoughts invaded your headspace, so much so that you had completely missed it when your manager told your group you were nominated for your first win.
Now, you were standing at the front of the stage while the MCs waited for the total scores to be tallied. Across from you, Jeonghan stared blankly at the screens in front of him, stealing glances at you every once in a while. You couldn’t bring yourself to look at him, or anywhere, for that matter. Your eyes glazed over as you tried to keep them open to avoid any kind of suspicion.
Just then, confetti popped out in front of you as you heard the MCs announce your group’s name, congratulating you. The rest of the members stared at each other in disbelief, tears streaming down their faces. When you had come to your senses and realized what was happening, you too began crying. The other girls held onto you, their faithful leader, as one of the MCs handed you the trophy and a mic for your speech.
You quickly composed yourself and cleared your throat. “Thank you so much for this incredible honor. We are so thankful to our CEO, our manager, all of our staff and also our fans for making our dreams come true. We are also thankful for our friends and family who have supported us behind the scenes. Thank you so much again, we will work even harder to come back with better music!”
Jeonghan watched you from behind as he and his group made their way off stage. A part of him knew he had something to do with your tears, and even worse, now you were crying on national TV. The encore stage played, but you found yourself in the corner crying your eyes out, trying to avoid the cameras. Most people would assume you were crying out of joy and sheer happiness, but little did they know. Jeonghan watched you on the TV, his heart sinking the more his eyes lingered on your form through the screen.
“Did you do something to her?” Hoshi said jokingly, though his words hit way too close to home.
“She’s crying pretty hard,” Seungkwan noted. By now, Jeonghan got the point. He messed up and everybody, including him, knew. Both of your managers and groups all knew about your relationship before the two of you even told them. They were good troopers, knowing that neither of you would do anything to jeopardize the groups’ reputations or careers.
You piled into the waiting room as your staff cheered for you. You were holding the trophy, and though it was heavy, it certainly wasn’t heavier than the burden in your heart. You wanted to be happy, you wanted to be celebrating with the rest of your group, but it was too hard to rid your mind of Jeonghan’s face from a couple hours ago. The car ride home wasn’t any easier — your silence didn’t go unnoticed by your members, their concern building as you stared blankly out the window.
The moment you arrived at your dorm, you locked yourself in your room. A muffled pain in your chest suffocated you. After crying your heart out on public TV, there were no more tears left to cry. You curled up into a ball, trying to take deep breaths to calm yourself.
You heard a knock on your door followed by one of the girls calling your name. “We’re going out to eat to celebrate,” she said.
“I’m not hungry,” you told them.
“You should eat,” another added.
“I’m okay. You guys go. I don’t feel well.”
“Do you want us to bring back some food?”
“I’ll be okay,” you responded. “Don’t worry about me.”
“Okay…” Their footsteps faded and you heard the front door shut.
A bit later, there was another knock, this time at the front door. You figured one of the members had left something at the dorm so you mustered the strength to hoist yourself out of bed. What, or who, you saw at the door came as a complete surprise.
Your knees buckled at the sight of him.
“What are you doing here?” you asked.
“Can I come in?”
You took a deep breath and stepped out of the way to allow him entry into your dorm.
“Um, these are for you,” he continued. He moved his hands from behind his back and held forth a bouquet of flowers. “Congrats on your win.”
“Thank…you…” You couldn’t help but furrow your brows in confusion as you took hold of the stems from his hands. You wandered awkwardly into the kitchen to look for a vase as Jeonghan stood in the living room mulling over what to say to you. Giving up after a while, you set the flowers on the counter by the sink and invited him to sit down at the dining table in your small apartment.
If you were being honest, you weren’t really in the best state to be talking to Jeonghan at the moment. If anything, it would have been best to sleep it off, but Jeonghan knew he had to come talk to you before the guilt ate away at him from the inside out.
“Whatever you have to say, say it fast,” you told him, avoiding his eyes. “It’s been a long day and I’m tired.”
Not exactly the words he wanted to hear from his oh-so-loving girlfriend, but considering the events leading up to this moment, maybe he deserved it. “I’m sorry.” Now he had your attention. “I’m really sorry for the way I handled everything. I was really stressed with our comeback and preparations. I couldn’t get the dance down and I stayed longer with Hoshi after practice, but it was too hard and I was too tired. Then I saw the news that you were casted in the drama with Sangkyun.”
He put his hand up. “No, wait. Let me finish. I know I shouldn’t have been this way, but I was just…jealous. And the rumors didn’t do anything to help, but I know that’s not an excuse for my behavior. I knew better, but I let my pride and stubbornness get in the way.”
You sat in silence for a while as you tried to process your thoughts and feelings, much to Jeonghan’s chagrin. He was nervouslly drawing shapes on the kitchen table with his finger while he awaited your answer. All he wanted was for everything to be okay again, but he also knew that it wouldn’t come so easily.
“I hope you can forgive me,” he muttered. Soon, he realized he said it without really meaning to, though it was true. “But it’s okay if you don’t. I completely understand,” he corrected himself.
“Jeonghan, I… I don’t know what to say.” You were at a loss for words, your heart being wrenched in ways it’d never been before.
He stood up abruptly. “It’s okay. You don’t have to say anything. I just wanted to let you know, but you can take all the time you need. Just know, you mean everything to me and I am so sorry for hurting you and being the biggest idiot in the world.”
You watched him turn around and move to the door slowly, slipping his shoes on with melancholy.
“Jeonghan, wait.” You stood up and followed him. He turned around and looked at you with sad eyes. Your fingers found his as you laced them together, squeezing them tight as if you wouldn’t ever let go. “You may be an idiot, but at least you’re my idiot.”
“Does this mean you forgive me?” His eyes lit up with hope.
“I’m beginning to,” you corrected him. “With something like this, it’s going to take a lot more than a couple flowers and words to make up for it.”
“I’ll do everything I can to make it up to you. I promise.” Before you knew it, you were enveloped in his embrace, his touch warm and comforting like a home you’d always return to. “I love you. So much.”
“I love you, too, Yoon Jeonghan.”

"I'm Jealous" - Jeonghan
10 notes · View notes
synopsis: The company is holding a sports day and you are participating in a three-legged race with your coworker, competing against your boyfriend. He becomes extremely jealous.
genre: I have no clue???
characters: boyfriend!jeonghan x fem!reader (ft. joshua)
a/n: I'm sorry anon, you probably wanted something fluffy but I just couldn't think of any way to fluffily portray his jealousy... I don't know I was kind of lost this whole day so I don't even know what I'm doing + SVT created a new playlist today and aghhhhh I can literally listen to any song/Svt playlist
“Everyone participating in the three-legged race, please get in line with your partner!” The host said.
You were outside in a park, near the company building. It was a rather unique day, one that wouldn't come for another year. It was in the middle of spring and the company usually always hosts a little sports day for the employees.
The sun was shining down so brightly, lighting up the green grass. Usually, the sports day would be held inside a gym, but because of the nice weather, it was finalized to take place outdoors. A small breeze went past your nose.
You were also participating in the three-legged race, a race where two people have to tie one of their legs together to make it ‘three’ legs. Your partner was one of your male coworkers.
You were going against two other teams, one of which included your boyfriend, Jeonghan and Joshua.
As Jeonghan got into position, all the way on the opposite side from you, he couldn't help but glance in your direction. With the golden sun shining so brightly, it made you and your coworker look so romantic. This was unacceptable.
Jeonghan continued to glance at you. He was hoping maybe you'd notice him staring but you were too busy talking to this coworker who was smiling in a way too friendly fashion. You were also laughing, conversing back and forth. When the competition starts, you two would have to link arms or place your hands behind each other's backs.
What if you two trip? Jeonghan couldn't stop worrying. He just continued to glance, the jealousy rising. It was just one of those days where he was more sensitive than usual.
At last, Jeonghan turned away, sighing. ‘It's fine... It's completely fine... it's just a partnered game. It won't even last 5 minutes because I'll win and end it.’
Jeonghan scoffed to himself.
‘What the hell am I doing?’ He wondered, finding it so amusing that he was acting such a way. He was denying it in his head that he was jealous.
“Why are you scoffing?” Joshua asked, smiling. “Are you jealous?”
Jeonghan shook his hand waved his hand in denial.
“Why would I be? It's just a game.”
“You look extremely jealous in my eyes,” Joshua said, tilting his head to the side, analyzing his friend's face.
“No, I'm not. Let's just win, I want to get that medal.”
“Are you ready!??” The host asked, his voice booming.
Your arm was linked around your coworker's, your leg bound with his.
“Get set,” The host was holding a microphone, standing at the side of the racing course, his other hand raised high.
Jeonghan glanced at you again.
With perfect chemistry, Jeonghan and Joshua finished the race with ease. They walked at a fast pace, their footsteps matching. During the race, Joshua observed that Jeonghan was more competitive than usual, instructing how to walk and how much faster to quicken.
Joshua couldn't help but smile throughout the race.
His friend was jealous as hell.
Jeonghan was sitting at the bench on the side of the park. A large tree behind the bench gave it the perfect amount of shade.
Jeonghan thought that when the race ends, everyone would have to stop, but no, that wasn't the case. He was no forced to watch you and your coworker walk like turtles to the finish line.
Jeonghan had already received his gold medal but it still felt like he lost. He drank a whole bottle of water.
When you and your coworker finally finished in 3rd to the last place, you also headed over to the bench where your boyfriend sat, your coworker walking beside you.
“Sorry I couldn't make us win,” Your coworker said.
“No, you did a great job. Maybe next year you can win.”
Jeonghan almost laughed when he heard that.
You reached for the blue cooler beside the bench and took a bottle of water.
“It wasn't your fault, it was mine. Plus, everyone else was just fast.”
You smiled at your coworker and he smiled back. You sat down next to your boyfriend, drinking water from a bottle.
Jeonghan turned to you. He was laying back on the brown, wooden bench with his hands folded across his chest. He looked at you expectantly with a slight smile.
“Didn't I do well?” Jeonghan asked.
“Hm?” You turned to him, gulping down the water, a bit confused. You closed the water bottle and set it down beside the bench.
“Aren't you going to praise me too? You told him that he did well despite losing. I won, aren't you going to tell me that I did an exceptional job?”
You blinked a few times before bursting into laughter. You looked over at your boyfriend, patting his shoulder.
“Don't tell me, you're jealous!?”
Immediately, Jeonghan turned away to face the racing course again. The host was shouting the countdown for a new round for three-legged racing.
“No, why would I be?” Jeonghan chuckled looking down at his feet. He tilted his head a little like he was thinking ‘why am I like this’, his arms were still crossed.
Jeonghan turned to you again after a moment. You had your eyes focused on the race.
“So you're not going to tell me anything?” Jeonghan asked.
You turned to him and smiled mischievously. “You're jealous, aren't you?”
Jeonghan let out a soft breath. “Follow me, I have to tell you something.”
You rolled your eyes playfully and following Jeonghan back into the company building. You two entered through the main lobby, feeling the cool air from the air conditioner chill the sweat on your forehead.
You started growing a bit suspicious.
“Where are we going? Are you planning some prank?” You asked, walking side by side with your boyfriend. “Why are you going this way? I don't think the elevators are broken.”
“Y/N, you were right,” He began, stopping in front of the door that led to the stairs. He took your hand softly. “I was jealous.”
Suddenly, one of his hands quickly opened the door to the stairway and his other hand pulled you inside. Immediately, he pinned you against the door, his hand took hold of your wrists, pinning them too.
He smiled softly. You were stuck staring at your boyfriend.
“What are you waiting for? Kiss me.”
You blushed, finally getting out of your daze.
“What?” You finally let out.
“I was jealous, kiss me to make me feel better.”
You just stared at your boyfriend who held a mischievous smile.
You were hesitant but he stayed expecting.
Slowly, you leaned in and kissed him on the lips. As you locked your lips with his, Jeonghan let out a satisfied smile, letting go of your wrists.
You cupped your boyfriend's face, immersing yourself in his lips. Jeonghan kissed you back, somewhat relaxed. He had his hands in his tracksuit pockets, just letting you kiss him.
You were contemplating whether to kiss him or not before you did kiss him. You wanted to tease him back but something about his expectant face and irresistible charms made you just want to kiss him. Like you were hypnotized, you leaned in to satisfy him.
Joshua recognized that guy as the guy who raced with you as your partner.
“Well- you see- Y/N has a boyfriend,” Joshua replied. He was eating an ice cream popsicle while watching the races continue.
“I know, but where-”
“Her boyfriend got really jealous,” Joshua continued. “I think they're doing something about it. Anyway, don't worry about her.”
Joshua smiled at your coworker, somewhat innocently, a signal enough to make him leave.

Wedding Bell Blues
Seungkwan x GN Reader
Overview: Your best friends getting married. You would think that's a good thing right? Not for you, everyone in your big ass friend group can tell that she's using him for the money apart from him. So on the big day you decide to help nudge him in the right direction. You object. You spill your heart out to him on what's supposed to be the happiest day of his life. And probably make an even bigger mess than the one you and your friends were originally in.
Warnings: A lot of alcohol, drunk idiots, childhood friends to somewhat enemies to lovers. ANGST.
Two months before:
“Its not like he's gonna ask her for jokes is it?” Seungkwan had called across the table where you were sat next to Joshua, the rest of the group sat (or crouched in Chans case) not so subtlety whispering about another friend (Beakhyun the player) who was hanging out with his new to- girlfriend.
You slightly chuckled at the way your closest friend could easily listen out for the newest information on a specific person or group, and then he would go and spout random shit out like it was him who never spun the lies in the first place.
Seungkwan had been your best best friend since diapers, the two of you were inseparable. In high school the two of you were the people to go to for a little tea. That was how you met most of your other 12 friends that also happened to be in one big group called Seventeen.
Which was now your family.
Both of you one night had made a very drunk vow. The vow was the really cheesy “If I'm still alone at blank age I’ll marry you” which left the two of you both heart broken every time a new relationship was blooming.
It also led you to make the worse idea in your life.
You were going to object to his marriage (even if it was to someone he supposedly loved)
Well why did he love a gold digger? You would ask yourself.
Your large ass group agreed.
“She’s a fucking gold digger!”- Seungcheol
“Absolute untrustworthy bitch.” - Jeonghan (Also came with a couple of other curses)
“A shit ton of Chinese curses you couldn't really understand” - Mainly Minghao but sometimes Jun
Lastly, Hansol (Seungkwans university best friend) literally said
“Why the fuck are you just using him for the money.” In front of the woman at the engagement party. In front of pretty much all her family members and then blamed it on you when it was clearly Hansol who said it.
The hate from her didn't just stop there. One night she had the audacity to make a very drunk (also emotional) Seungkwan cry when she told him that you were dating another guy. He left you on read for about three weeks that time.
All 12 hated her, hell like all of the concert band (most of your friends) and the choir (most of Seungkwans friends) hated her and they all had shown it to her and him several times.
Seungkwan was just to blinded by what he thought was love to see.
So you spouted your crush. The group then deciding it would be the so called best idea to do it at the wedding. Then Jeonghan would pull up the voice messages and show Seungkwan you were the better one for him.
Even after trying to not only subtly but also obviously get him to notice and understand how you felt.
Absolutely failing with both.
Why was it their idea to drag you out of bed (even if some agreed with you on hating party's) and forcing you to sit in on the bachelor party even though it was specifically for men.
You have no fucking clue why. (Well its the 21st century so maybe they want to break stereotypes)
“Then I said to Soo, I don't even thinks she likes you platonically I'm pretty sure she's using you for the free food!” The large ass group of men laugh at Chanyeol (A sax player in the concert band) as he recalled a story about Kyungsoo (A singer) and his girlfriend (now fiancé and a cello player) Eunjung.
You let out a light chuckle, then taking a sip of your tequila sunrise glad to be able to be you without getting hounded by the bride and her lackeys (as most of the group had labelled them)
Most of the guys were a mix of the choir friends Seungkwan had made back in high school along with some of your concert band friends. Or a mix of both (In Joshua's case)
Take Chanyeol, a sax player you had met in your first year of being in the concert band who along with Baekhyun, a flute player made it their goal to get to know every single person in the band starting with you.
Then another one of their friends Kyungsoo who was Seungkwan’s first friend in the choir who also knew you because of the other. Had plainly asked Seungkwan to “Shut it.” when he was being to loud when they weren't performing
Causing them to bond over opposite personalities.
You were all connected for your love of music one way or another. In your case you had instantly fallen head over heels for Seungkwan when you heard his voice at his first audition.
“Hey, how you doing little troll?” Chanyeol had called at you from the oposite side of the very long and crowded table you were all sat at.
The nickname had stemmed for your love of DND and Beakhyun saying that you were the size of a tiny troll.
“Good, what about you?” a short reply because you were definitely not in the mood for talking, especially when you could be drowning yourself in alcohol.
The group laughed used to your short grumpy replies, Jeonghan instantly trying to pry into how you were feeling but you gave him the “don't you dare” stare.
“Deadass, shit no way!” Seokmin
“Dude what the fuck happened?” Hansol
“Jisoo just sent me some weird shit from the hen.” You barely heard because he was speaking so quietly.
Most of your friends had instantly perked up at the name of his girlfriend wondering what it could have meant. Causing them to gather around him and try to pry answers out of Jisoo.
A light pat on your shoulder, Seungkwan.
You smiled turning your head towards the man only realising that he wasn't wearing his usual bright smile.
“Hi, we need to talk.” He sounded sad.
“Sure, but are you okay, you look depressed” Shit that was the alcohol speaking
“What I'm about to say is gonna hurt you, but I'm doing it for the best reason. Your my best friend and you cant come to the wedding.” He spoke slowly, treating you like a baby.
“Is this your personal choice, or did your little lovable gold digger just say that so you would never ever find out that we knew she wanted you for the money!” You spoke voice raising as you spat out what you were supposed to hide.
Your friends instantly knew they had fucked up and so had you. Seungkwan turning to the rest and trying to decipher what had happened.
“Your just saying it because your drunk and jealous, she is everything to me everything you could never be cause you don't even know what love feels like! Don't even think about trying to stop me, at least be a good fucking friend for once and stay out of it!”
Trying to blink back the tears, you instantly sped out of the bar. Trying not to be enticed by the calls of your so called “best friend”. Some of the other guys following straight after you hollering curses at their friend.
He obviously didn't care about you anymore, didn't love you the way you loved him. Of course you were jealous, you loved him and he never batted an eyelash.
Why why why did it have to be you, the hopeless adult who God just wants to watch suffer and break down every single day, hour and minute.
Operation try not to think of your crush because your about to get married was ago. Seungkwan probably cried himself to sleep the night before.
Well he was sure he did cry himself to sleep.
Maybe because he had one to many shots of vodka, and when he gets drunk he also gets emotional.
He wondered about you.
We’re you okay?
How were you feeling?
Probably like shit because of what he did to you last night. Stopping himself doing the one thing he knew you wanted him to do.
Tell you everything, how he imagined asking you to marry him. Planning the wedding together (It would obviously be one of the best weddings Korea had seen)
Telling you how much he loved you.
You on the other hand were still completely recovering from drowning yourself in alcohol, trying not to think of the pain you were put through and were still being put through.
“Hey, I brought you water.” Chan called as he walked into his and Hansol’s shared hotel room. He sat down in front of you, suit jacket haphazardly draped across his shoulders.
“Thanks.” You croaked, letting out a slight cough afterwards, grabbing the bottle and downing most of it.
You really really shouldnt have drunk soo much wine last night (You were pretty sure you drained Hao’s stock that he brought)
“Ummmm, The rest of the guys are gonna come over, they wanted to see how you were holding up since you drank like half of Hao’s wine stock.” You shared a chuckle.
You hoped they wouldn't drag Seungkwan into this so he could apologise.
“Open up Chan we know your hiding them in there!” Jeonghan
The younger instantly obeyed allowing the 11 others to spill into the small hotel room.
“Your gonna stop him right?” Soonyoung questioned.
You sighed in response not really wanting to deal with Seungkwan this early in the morning.
“Did you seriously think he’s not gonna die if he’s without you.” Minghao calls from the bathroom (going over his and Jun’s makeup)
“If it makes you feel any better you can fu-!” Joshua clamped a hand over Jeonghans mouth.
“No one is going to fuck you Jeonghan, especially after this. We are going to get them back together today no matter what.” He stood up, the rest following.
“Operation Get The Besties back together to spill their hot feeling tea is ago!”
Your friends cheered, and you had no clue what the actual fuck was going on.
But you liked it.
The church was as beautiful as you remember it. The stained glass, the architecture and so on.
This was the place you wanted to get married. Well you were hopefully going to get married in this place (as long as the plan goes well)
All of your old choir/band friends were gathered to celebrate (Destroy more like) the union of Seungkwan and the gold digger.
Chen and his wife (Along with his daughter) Chanyeol and his fiancé June, Hobi and Yoongi trying not to start fighting at any given moment , Lisa was chatting with Hansol and finally Joshua and Jeonghan were having an absolute unholy make out session in one of the back pews.
It was chaos as you expected and it was about to get even more chaotic when you objected.
“Seriously, why are you so nervous it’s obvious that he loves you and wants to be with you.” Jihoon spoke, giving your hand a tight squeeze in reassurance.
“Yo yo yo, how are you guys it’s been a while!” You turned to see Wonwoo’s fiancé Helena walk over to where you guys were sat, taking a seat next to Seungcheol and his wife Boeum on your right (Wonwoo following like the lovesick puppy he was)
Jisoo and Seokmin gave you a nod. “ You love him and that’s why your gonna win.” She whispered as the music started.
You smiled, you loved him and you were gonna tell him how you felt even if it went to shit afterwards.
“I object to this marriage!” You called, trying to keep your voice from shaking.
Most of your friends had turned towards you then looking to Seungkwan (Who instantly knew he’d royally fucked up with this wedding)
“Umm no you don’t you bitch, Seungkwan doesn’t care about you he loves me and now you and your little fake ass rich kid club can get out and stop trying to take me away from the money!”
The crowed gasped. Jeonghan instantly pulling his phone out of his pocket to get the message and calls he had found.
Seungkwan stared at her harshly, starting to shout obscenities at his now ex- fiancé.
Her parents were also hounded by your best friends parents and you were pretty sure that Seungkwans mum was about to start a fight.
The large group of family and friends had started to cheer waiting for Seunkwan and you to say that you loved each other.
“I’m so sorry, I really was blinded by lov-“
You smacked your lips onto his, butterflies exploding in your stomach as you depend the kiss glad you had not only your best friend but your love in your arms.
“I love you.”
“Me too baby, me too”
Three Years Later
“Jeonghan ,Josh can you please stop trying to have sex on the buffet, if your that desperate just ditch and come back later!” You called to the couple who were mainly fighting for dominance at that point.
Scaring most of the younger attendees who were mainly just trying to eat in peace.
You laughed as you felt a soft kiss being placed on your exposed neck.
“They never learn do they Mrs Boo.”
“Oh no they don’t Mr Boo”
You didn’t end up getting married at the church.
No cause you ended up getting married in Las Vegas because Seungkwan said it (The church) gave him nightmares.
Probably for the best, poor Chan didn’t remember a thing from that night let alone who.
But love did prevail. It brought you and Seungkwan closer and further apart then your relationship had ever gone.
You wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Inspired by a video I watched on tiktok
Sitting on the couch, scrolling through your phone, your feet on top of Jeonghan's lap, sitting with you on the other end of the couch he too was scrolling through his phone, while the movie you put on the tv played, acting as background noise. It's a Saturday afternoon and it's one of the rare days you get to spend your time all day with him. He's on break, meaning you have him for yourself for three days. It's not much but it's better than none. Usually, couples go outside on a date when their partner is not so busy, but you knew Jeonghan needed time to rest. You didn't plan anything on the days he's staying, wanting to go with the flow and do whatever that comes on his or your mind, if he wanted to go out then you would be happy to go out with him if he wanted to stay home your fine with it too. Of course, you didn't forget to, give him hugs and kisses at random times, not wanting him to feel neglected, and you didn't forget to mess around with him here and there, to see him smile.
"Y/n? How will you react if you caught me cheating on you?" the question caught you off guard. Was he messing with you? Or is he cheating on you? Raising a brow you removed your feet off his lap and sat up straight.
"Are you cheating on me?" voice teasing, lips etched into a cheeky smile, and your eyes a squint with a playful glint.
"Of course not! I just watched a video where they ask their partner how they would react if they caught their partner cheating on them and I got curious, I wanted to know how you would react if you caught me cheating."
"Should I act it out for you?" You stood up and went inside your shared bedroom and closed the door.
"Another man?? I KNEW IT." You said as you open the door with a pretend shock face, while Jeonghan burst out laughing. You went and close the door again thinking of a different response.
"What the fuck! That's not how you give a blowjob c'mere lemme show you." You said as you walk towards him, falling onto your knees halfway, not able to control your laughter. Jeonghan too was clutching his stomach as he laughs uncontrollably. He sat up straight and wiped the happy tears that escaped from his eyes. You went inside the room for the last time and took one of his sunglasses as a prop. You went ahead and open the door, placing your hand on your hip, shifting your weight on one leg, making your hips pop. Tilting your head down, you slowly lowered the sunglasses.
"I see, one of your homies huh? Good choice." You gave a thumbs-up followed by a wink and that's when the both of you completely lost it. He was on the floor while you held onto the door frame to stabilize yourself.
"You... What's... What's wrong with you." He managed to blurt out in between laughter.
Soon the laughter died out and the both of you were cuddled up on the sofa.
"This is why I won't ever stop loving you." He said and kissed you on your temple. Snuggling up to him, he held you close, with no intentions of letting you go.

An Unwise Interest
Profiles 1 || M. List || Next
Summary: Of course you love your brother but he can be a bit overly concerned and involved in your personal life. Things only get worse when you find yourself having a little more than “friendly” feelings for one of his best friends.
A/n: Hello!! This is going to be the profiles for the first of the series “Diamond Affairs”!! With this being the first one I don’t want to reveal the love interest right away, but it does come up fairly quick with hints. Please, enjoy! ☺️
