➸ You notice he has blonde hair and very pale skin.. just like milk?!!!??

➸ One day while you were taking a stroll 🚶‍♀️ at the park. You see him again, but this time he’s with a group of guys. Possibly friends?

➸ You shriek and your eyes 👀 bulge out. Your hands begin to get clammy and you think that’s your cue to skedaddle.

➸ “Oh my god! I really hope he didn’t catch me looking at him,” you scowl at yourself.

➸ Yoongi doesn’t try to follow you.

➸ “Hyung, that was her right? The girl you’ve been obsessing over. She is such a ba-“

➸ Yoongi quickly wraps his hand around his younger friend, Jungkook’s throat, stopping him from saying anything else.

➸ “Don’t even try to finish that. I will end you.” He scowls, tightening his grip and pushing him back.

➸ Jungkook fell back onto the grass, with a pout on his lips he begins massaging his neck.

➸” I wasn’t even saying anything bad Yoongi hyung,” he grumbled furrowing his eyebrows.

➸ “You better stay quiet before you make him angry,” another male named Taehyung, piped up running a hand through his shaggy hair.

➸ Yoongi growled, exhaling air between his teeth as he eyed both his friends.

➸ Yoongi held you to his highest standards. You ARE his world 🌎 after all.

➸ His much wiser friend Namjoon, places his arm around Yoongi’s shoulders.

➸ “I think you should try talking to her soon. Instead, of just hiding in the shadows. At least, now that she knows your name.”

➸ “What do you mean she knows my name?” Yoongi tilts his head towards Namjoon, raising his eyebrows in confusion.

➸ “What I mean is she turned our way when she heard Jungkook call for you,” Namjoon squeezed him, “and you saw how flustered she got when you both caught eyes.” He smirked.

➸ Yoongi smiled at the memory, “I don’t think I should. I wouldn’t even know what to say.” His hard demeanor fell.

➸ “I think the next time you see her at the park. You should go up to her and introduce yourself and just say that you’ve seen her around the park, you know? Cute shit.” Namjoon added, smiling showing off his dimples.

➸ Yoongi ran the words through his mind, “cute shit,” he murmured to himself.

➸ Yoongi’s exterior was far from cute but he would try for you.

➸ You on the other hand stopped showing up at the park.

➸ You were very embarrassed at the way you had reacted. Plus college and work were getting out of control.

➸ You had to pick up some extra shifts at the convenience store that was located at the corner of the street you live on.

➸ It had been 2 weeks. 2 LooOoOooong weeks.

➸ “Fuck! Fuck! FUCK! Where could she be?! Maybe something happened to her!” Yoongi was panicking.

➸ He hadn’t seen you since The incident at the park. He kept trying to convince himself that maybe you had gotten busy.

➸ He didn’t even know where you lived, he cursed at himself. He should have followed you that evening to see where you stayed by.

➸ It has been a couple of hours since he had last eaten. And if he was going to find you he needed to make sure his energy was up.

➸ He walked to the convenience store that was on the street that he lived on.

➸ He opened the door and stepped inside greeting the cashier as he walked to the aisle where the ramen and chips would be.

➸ He failed to notice you on your knees tagging the prices on the items on the shelf.

➸ You tilted your head up when you noticed a shadow behind you, and caught a glimpse of his skin.

➸ It couldn’t be, you thought.

➸ You got anxious and you stumbled with your grip on the price gun. It falls at his feet.

➸ You apologize, “I’m so terribly sorry, sir. I’m very clumsy.”

➸ Before you could reach to pick up the gun, he stops you.

➸ “It’s okay miss.” He picks it up and hands it to you.

➸ As you reach for it you stumble to get up from your position and you both look at each other.

➸ His eyes 👀 blow up, “Oh my god ! It’s you.”

➸ You smirked and shy away, “do you know me?” You ask him.

➸ Of course he knew who you were.

➸ “I believe we go to the same park,” he immediately answers you.

➸ He feels himself turning red. He scowls himself, aish she makes me nervous and all were doing is talking.

➸ “Oh yeah! It’s a beautiful park. I love going there to relax and enjoy Mother Nature,” you respond to him.

➸ “Same here. I’m Min Yoongi,” he says as he places his hand towards you to shake.

➸ “I kinda already know your name. I hope that’s not weird. I’m L/n Y/n,” you return the hand shake.

➸ He laughs at your honesty and nods. “It’s great to finally meet you y/n. Maybe we can go to the park together one of these days.” He mentions playing with his hands subconsciously.

➸ “I would really like that,” you smile back at him.

➸” Would it be okay to get your number?” He asks, this time not keeping eye contact with you.

➸ You scream on the inside. Oh my god he’s asking for my number, yes!

➸ Your smile twinkled with the sun shining through. “Of course you can.”

➸ Yoongi looked at you and smiled showing off his blushed cheeks. He reached for his phone from his back pocket and handed it to you.

➸ You saved your number and took a selca to save for your contact picture.

➸ “I’m gonna call myself so I can have your number too.”

➸ Once your phone rang he grabbed it and opened up your camera to take a cute picture of himself. He reminded himself, cute shit Yoongi.

➸ With that he grabbed his ramen and choice of chips and headed to the cashier, “I’ll text you later,” he said as he stepped out of the front door 🚪, sending a wink 😉 your way.

➸ Your heart ❤️ fluttered.

➸ Your co worker up front kept sending you finger hearts 💕 for the rest of the shift as he had witnessed the conversation you had with the stranger.

➸ Later that evening~

➸ Yoongi had gone to Namjoon’s apartment where he was greeted by the rest of the gang.

➸ He had a smile plastered on his face and his cheeks and ears were still slightly pink.

➸ “Someone looks like they’re in a good mood,” Jungkook informed the group.

➸ Yoongi unfazed, plopped himself on the couch. “What’s gotten into you hyung?” Taehyung asked him as he dropped himself next to him.

➸ Yoongi smiled with heart eyes and said, “y/n.”

➸ Taehyung looked 👀 at him puzzled, “who’s y/n?”

➸ Namjoon chuckled and cheered, “You did it ! You talked to her? Where? At the park?”

➸ Yoongi giggled, “I actually saw her at the corner store by my house. It looks like she works there.��

➸ Jungkook was JungSHOOK.

➸ “You sly dog!” Jungkook yelled with excitement.

➸ “And I even got her number.” -Yoongi

➸ “Holy shit! We got a new and improved Yoongi on our hands,” Namjoon added placing both hands on his shoulder from behind the couch and shaking him playfully.

➸ “I took your advice Nam Noodle. I even remembered cute shit.” He chuckles and looks down shaking his head in embarrassment.

➸ Namjoon smirked to himself, “So when are you guys officially hanging out?”

➸ Yoongi’s eyes blew up he wasn’t even sure, he had told her he would text her. He began to think should I text her now? Tomorrow?

➸ “I’m not sure actually.” -yoong

➸” Why don’t you send her a text asking how her day is going?” Namjoon suggested.

➸ Yoongi looked down at his phone opening up your contact info and looked at your silly picture. He opened up his text messages and began to type a message to you. It took him about five minutes to get the courage to press send.

➸ You were laying down cuddled up with your blankets watching a movie on your TV when you heard your phone ding.

➸ You grabbed it from behind your pillow and clicked on the notification you read the text message.

➸ Min Yoongi: Hey y/n how’s your day going?

➸ Your jaw dropped and your phone fell on your face making you groan.

➸ Wow he messaged me 😻

➸ You replied: I'm doing pretty good just laying down watching a movie, how about yours?

➸ His notifications dinged, he tried keeping his hands steady but the phone slipped out of his hands

➸ “Hyung relax,” Jungkook consoled him, grabbing the phone from him.

➸ “Hey! What are you doing? Aish!” Yoongi yelled launching himself at him.

➸ “I’m just going to type a response and you can read it and press send,” Jungkook huffed pushing him back on the couch.

➸ Yoongi sat back on the couch and watched him type.

➸ Once Jungkook finished he smiled and handed his phone back, “here Yoongi hyung.”

➸ Yoongi grabbed his phone and proceeded to read the message, “oh nice! What movies are you watching? And thank you for asking I’m doing okay.”

➸ Yoongi side eyed Jungkook and pressed sent. “We’re just trying to help,” Namjoon added showing off his dimple smile.

➸ Your phone dinged and you freaked out, “oh fuck! He replied. Why do I keep talking to myself?” You laughed and disregarded your thoughts.

➸ You asked him if he was going to be busy this weekend. On the other end Yoongi stared at his phone “Hyung what did she say?” Jungkook asked as Namjoon got closer.

➸ “Oh shit! She beat you to the punch.” Jungkook chuckled, “tell her you’re free and asked what she has in mind.” “Boy you’re good.” Namjoon started squeezing the younger guys shoulder.

➸ Yoongi replied letting you know that he was free, Saturday and Sunday and if you were open to hanging out with him.

➸ He smiled at the message and asked him if he would like to join you for a picnic date Saturday afternoon.

➸ The picnic date~ uwuuu

➸ You had decided on making sandwiches and cutting them into triangles from turkey, ham and roast beef you added different types of chips, sodas and water.

➸ For your outfit you decided on wearing a flowy long skirt with a plain white tee and a soft scarf to match your skirt with your converse of course :-)

➸ Your hair lay long and wavy on your back with your bangs falling on your forehead covering your eyebrows.

➸ Yoongi was looking through his closet figuring out what to wear on this sunny Saturday it was around 10 AM and he was going to meet you at 11:30 he decided on black jeans and a plain white V-neck with black converse. He stared at himself and shrugged grabbing a bottle of wine 🍷 that he had bought for the picnic.

➸ You grabbed your picnic basket and placed it on the basket of your bicycle you pulled your phone out and dialed him.

➸ It seemed as if he had been waiting for your call, the way he had answered his phone on the first ring.

➸ “H-Hi Yoongi, it’s y/n.”

➸ Yoongi had his phone in his hand he had began to type a message out to you to let you know he was on his way to the park but his phone started to ring and your silly face popped up on his screen, he answered hearing you speak first.

➸ “Hi y/n, I guess you beat me to it. I was about to send u a text saying I was on my way to the park.”

➸ You plugged in your earphones, “oh nice! Then you won’t mind staying on the phone with me.”

➸ Yoongi smiled and proceeded to mount his bike,” of course I will.”

➸ You ride your bike to the park turning a corner you spotted him first he looked so ethereal with the sunlight shining off his pale skin he had a small gummy smile on his face.

➸ He looked up when he didn’t hear you talking anymore you look so beautiful your smile was so enchanting, “you look so beautiful Y/n.”

➸ You laughed and waved him to follow you, you disconnected the call and pulled your earphones off tucking them inside your shirt.

➸ You stopped in a shady area with a big tree on the side you leaned your bike against the tree trunk and grabbed the blanket you had under the basket you pulled it open it and he reached for the other end extending it.

➸ You both smiled and lay the blanket on the grass you place the basket on the edge of it and got closer to him.

➸ “Hey Yoongi,” you opened your arms and he met you halfway closing the hug and making sure his hands stayed out and didn’t wander.

➸ “Yoongi you can let me go now.” You chuckled into his shoulder and he nervously coughed and released you. “I’m sorry y/n.”

➸ The picnic was wonderful, both of you ate, had a couple of cups of wine, and munched on the chips as you both enjoyed the conversation you are having.

➸ The guy that you had been crushing over had officially noticed you. Yoongi felt the same way towards you. Expressing how nervous you make him and he just didn’t want to ruin the moment.

➸ Suddenly, you began to feel weird, off putting even. “Yoongi, I think I had too much to drink.” You stated, rubbing your head slightly and blinking multiple times to stop the environment from spinning.

➸ “I’m not feeling too good,” Yoongi got closer to you, he wrapped his arms around you and whispered in your ear, “it’s gonna be okay I promise.” And with that your eyes fluttered shut.

➸ Yoongi was a mad man and didn’t want anything to happen to you. He had decided it was best you didn’t leave his sight. All he wanted to do was take care of you, so he may have slipped something into your wine that would take effect. He had drugged you making you slightly unconscious.

➸ He had called up his friends and asked them to help pick the stuff up from the park.

➸ You woke up hours later tied up to a bed in a pitch black room. You pulled at your arms, harness tightening around your wrist ricochet back to the head board. You screamed for help, not knowing where exactly you were.

➸ Someone opened the door and stepped inside. They flickered the lights on and you closed your eyes momentarily and then opened them to adjust to the light.

➸ You couldn’t believe who it was, “Yoongi?” You pleaded for him to let you go. “Please Yoongi. I’ll do anything?”

➸ He spoke up, “anything?”

SeokJin’s Story (feat. Namjoon)

Where we belong…?

Hybrid/Bullet Point Au

Summer House is full of love, from 8 different hybrids. But, how did they all end up there together? What is each one’s story?

Ø Jin was born into a not so normal family. His mother, a gorgeous calico cat was used in a breeding farm and as such he hadn’t met her, for he had been stripped away as soon as he was born.

Ø Being the youngest of the litter didn’t fare well with him, as he was constantly scrutinised with a threat of death looming upon him from his first breath. It was very surprising therefore when he survived a virus infection all of them had.

Ø He was the only one in the end.

Ø He didn’t know who his dad was either, as he had met their mother once during her heat and that was it.

Ø Aged 6 days, he had arrived at the house of an elderly couple who took care of him. They loved him and taught him to read, write, and even cook and sew when he grew older.

Ø However, in his first days they raised him as a baby, they wanted him because they missed their own children who had long fled the nest.

Ø He grew up loved, but also bullied by the other kids in the neighbourhood.

Ø His tail would be yanked, his ears pulled and slapped and they’d throw water on him. None of them liked him very much. It got to the point where he’d stay inside and that’s how he took an interest in household affairs.

Ø Cooking especially was his favourite. For a long time he claimed it was magic.

Ø On Christmas he’d get presents like socks and shirts and even comfy pyjamas. Once he got a new collar that he treasured a lot, and wore it everyday until a kid broke it when he was picking flowers in the meadow by their house for mothers day.

Ø He cried for days, and got a replacement. But he didn’t treasure it as much as his first one.

Ø The rest of childhood was more or less peaceful and he appreciated that.

Ø Later, as he survived middle school and highschool, he became a good student and studies hard, eager to pass into a good college and then university, away from his childhood bullying peers.

Ø It was by chance he made a friend in his school, for as he stepped into his class, he collided with someone and apologies were made. The guy was named Namjoon and they quickly stuck together, despite being ‘cat and dog’.

Ø Late night sessions included stressing over new assignments and old essays, quiet beer drinking and football watching.

Ø Jin cooked for them both in their shared flat (they become roommates after Namjoon moved from his single dorm to Jin’s flat after Jin’s roommate left to live with his girlfriend) and cleaned. He stocked the medicine cupboards and nagged about dirty clothes.

Ø His nickname became ‘housewife’.

Ø Him and Namjoon bicker like a married couple. It got to the point where their friends would jokingly play the wedding march as the duo approached.

Ø Him and Namjoon both happily graduated, Jin majoring in Acting and Namjoon in Philosophy.

Ø They quickly found a new place to live, south of their old home. It was a crumbling flat but easy affordable for two new college graduates. Namjoon used his university student loans to pay their rent while going to university. Seokjin took a part time job as a receptionist in a small hospital.

Ø The staff there loved him. It was through his friends there that he discovered a brand of shampoo. He applied it to his ears and tail and when they dried it was the silkiest fur ever. Eyes wide he ran to Namjoon and thrust the bottle into his face.

Ø “Namjoon-ah look! Feel my ears!”

Ø Namjoon nodded. He was then forced into the bath (bright red) as the elder washed his ears and tail and then blow dried them. Both of their animal counter parts had never felt so clean, silky or fluffy like today.

Ø The shampoo was quiet expensive and as such the boys could only afford it every so often. It was decided between the two of them that they would only use it when necessary, and only when one of them needed cheering up.

Ø Six months passed and the boys further settled into their apartment. Jin bought a bunch of notebooks and got to studying. His mind was filled with the fascination of the medical world, after seeing his friends help save lifes.

Ø He wanted to do that too.

Ø Namjoon helped him, and together they studied, creating colourful flashcards and test papers, posters and mind maps. Life went by peacefully and before they knew it, Jin was a certified nurse.

Ø He worked more stable hours, and their wage increased. They could finally save and opt to move to a house in a better area, no longer needing to struggle to make ends meet with two part time job incomes.

Ø Life was finally looking up for them, and in a good way.

Jungkook is the leader of an ant mafia gang that's known for building casinos and other buildings with illegal goods and weapons underneath.

He's famous for being the youngest leader in ant history, and for creating peace between the ants and bees after winning against, then befriending the leader, Min Yoongi.

And you're his self-sworn enemy. [Y/N] [L/N], heiress to the termite gang, who's notorious for destroying other gangs and absorbing them through—usually illegal—schemes.

You don't know exactly when you two decided to hate each other, and you're almost sure you just always have.

Just like you didn't exactly know why you hated each other, besides the generations of bad blood between your gangs.

But like, you two have a personal bone to pick with each other.

One day on a mission, you're about to gain control of another, smaller ant colony, when Jungkook and the ants come to the rescue.

His men are much bigger than yours, and there's at least three times as many of them, so you retreat.

Jungkook steals the territory for himself and joins with the small colony.

You're seething because that was your mission. You were supposed to peacefully absorb them into your gang, and lay low for a while, but of course Jungkook had to ruin it.

So, like a mature adult, decide to be petty and get revenge.

A few weeks later you ambush the ants, taking half the colony they'd just absorbed and making them your new recruits.

And that's how your dynamic pretty much goes. Petty battles, some bloodshed (nothing fatal though), stealing and infiltrating each other's gangs all day long, seven days a week.

Since everyone knows you two are always at it, everything's normal and everyone's calm.

Until the leader of the wasps shows up on your doorstep, stingers ready to kill.

You may have been petty but you weren't stupid.

So naturally you went over to your best friends, the ants! Except you aren't best friends, and you didn't go willingly.

Your mother was still in control, so she had some of her men drag you over to meet with Jungkook, who was already aware of the upcoming threat that was the wasps.

Damn him and his role of leader.

The two of them sign a contract that means the ants will provide protection and allegiance while the termites will assist the ants with their schemes, although you and Jungkook agree to nothing.

So while your gangs are getting along—mostly, there's still some beef within the colonies themselves--you two are bickering over everything.

You can say the sky is pretty blue today and he'll point out anything that says otherwise.

“The sky’s red.”

He’s so annoying omg.

And you're no better because let's face it, you like the arguments.

Soon enough though, you two are spending so much time together, you’re starting to realize you’re way more similar than you thought.

You two like the same music, clothes, books, and you realize that maybe you two aren't so different.

But that doesn't mean you don't still hate him.

Like you two have such frequent arguments that everyone would rather die by the wasp's hands.

What's even worse is that, like the gangsters you are, y'all pull out guns on each other when the fight isn't going your way.

Like if Jungkook’s evidence is even a little more solid than yours, you skip the debate and just point your pistol at him.

And of course, he just points his back.

Nobody wants to be in the same room as both of you together.

Most of your fights are over dumb things like teasing or possessiveness.

Like when you sit in his seat at the table or he eats your serving or you two refuse to give the other back their most prized weapon.

And Jungkook loves to use his height to his advantage because ants are way larger and stronger than termites by default.

He also loves to poke at the fact that termites are known for distroyinf things while ants are known to be the best builders.

“I bet one day you guys are going to destroy yourselves, like you do everything.”

Damn who hurt him. (Nobody beside the kid who pulled on his antennas earlier that day).

Eventually everyone is sick of you two.

So they do the only rational thing.

They decide to team you two up for a mission that neither of you can afford to mess up.

So you two decide to put your mandibles and antennae away for the sake of the mission.

“Operation: Rescue 450.”

Idk what the 450 is either.

“Damn how many ants have been captured?”

“Honestly the numbers have been going down lately.”

You use your wings to fly yourself in (no you won't die since you're the next “queen”).

And Jungkook takes to beating up guards on the ground.

By the end of it, you've almost got everyone out, save for the handful you're still trying to free.

It's all good until you feel a metal barrel against your head.

“And here I thought I'd have to infiltrate the termites to get to you.”

You hate that wasp Kim Seojun.

“Hey [Y/N] are you ready to go—”

Legit freezes in his spot at the sight.

“Make one more move and I blow her brains.”

Best believe Jungkook's as still as a statue.

Like, sure, he “hated” you, but he didn't hate you.

Y’know what I mean?

Ends up making a deal to surrender a thousand ant troops in return for your life.

And you're just shocked.

Like this boy just gave up a whole one thousand soldiers, for you.

Of course once he's got you in his arms he's not upholding his side of the deal.

How is he gonna protect you with all that cavalry missing?

Makes a quick get away with you and the other ants after shooting Seojun in the leg.

Neither of you speak about it, instead readying for war.

You two also avoid each other kinda awkwardly, drawing everyone's attention because for once you're quiet and civil around each other.

A few days later, the wasps are at your door, attacking.

Being the leader of not only the ants but the bees as well, Jungkook's gang charges in head first.

You and the termites stay back, digging traps and escapes.

By the end of it all, Jungkook's crew is half the size it used to be.

The bees, led by Yoongi, are also down by quite a considerable amount.

The wasps, although large and more dangerous, are losing.

And so you evacuate as many ants, bees and termites as possible, ready to bring the entire tunnel system down.

But you can't just leave Jungkook to die.

So you fly in there, knocking him out and saving him, right before giving the signal.

Bam, no more wasps.

Jungkook wakes up in the infirmary a while later, surprised to see you asleep, antennas tangled with your hair beside him.

Smiles a little, but pretends to still be sleeping when you wake up.

You're upset to see him still asleep, like he had been for the past three days, and you start apologizing for ever dragging the ants into your situation and being such a jerk.

Mid apology, he starts stroking your antenna, making you freeze and blush with the epiphany that he was awake.

“You jerk, you let me believe you were asleep and spill my guts!”

Laughs and continues to smooth your hair.

“Did you save me?” Bro has no memory of the last thirty minutes because he was taking serious damage by then.

Is super smiley when you nod.

“Stop making that face! I was just repaying the favor!”

Keeps making “that face”.

Eventually he's healthy again and ready to lead once more.

And since the threat is gone, so is your treaty.

Your moms are shaking hands and agreeing to part when Jungkook takes a hold of your hand and gets on his knee.

“[Y/N], you saved my life and I couldn't be more thankful—oh gosh this is so cheesy ew—will you let me repay you by taking you out?”

Yeah he's gagging at the formality too.

It’s a bit different from the first time though so please read this post before sending something in. [Tumblr Mini Stories #Round1]

Since I’m a bit (quite a bit) tight on money I wanted to try this as an alternative for commissioning me (please commission me T.T I’m broke af). No, I’m kidding, but if you want me to write you something you can either commission me or follow these instructions~

in honour of ghost month, i’m doing a (crack) bulletpoint fic set. some fluff, but mostly dumb headcanons about our favourite boys as ghosts !!

SEOKJIN

the dreaded laughing ghost on the fifth floor of the company's oldest building

he's the handsome guy in the old photos of the founders

lived a good, long life, but stays around to try and bother his friends who are still alive

you're the intern at work so they make you run around to find all the files

grumbling, you walk up the five flights of stairs because of course there isn't an elevator to the physical archives

and you're looking through the cabinets when you turn around and find the file on the desk

"thank god," you say, reaching over to pick it up

"no, it's just mr. worldwide handsome," a voice says

and there he is, the guy from the sepia-tone photos

you're startled for a moment and he's like, "well?"

then you squint, making a face

"you're more awkward-looking than I expected"

jin just waggles his eyebrows at you, striking a bunch of poses, blowing you a big kiss, and he's so silly you end up laughing

WIND-SHIELD WIPER LAUGH EVEN IN THE AFTERLIFE

since you see him he follows you around

always in a three-piece suit because it makes him look “dapper"

he groans whenever you're eating something

"how delicious is it"

jin makes chewing noises and smacks his mouth and you make it a point to hide your food around him

you're in boring meetings taking notes and he's leaning against the wall trying to look cool

then a bug flies In the room and his screams are louder than the presenter's booming voice

and you look like you're laughing at fucking NOTHING because the bug keeps flying through jin and he's stumbling around the room, flailing his arms around

eventually you move up the corporate ladder and transfer to another company

and you miss seokjin for a bit

but when he appears at your desk whining about how lonely he was without you, you roll your eyes and try to find a lizard to scare him with

YOONGI

spirit haunting the suspiciously cheap second-hand piano at the music store

you find a young man slumped over on the piano and try to wake him up

but your hand goes right through him and you scream a little

yoongi lifts his head up and curses, his face deadly (heh) serious

"what's a ghost gotta do to get some peace around here"

he's the piano's original owner and apparently a composer of some sort

won't shut up about how music is his first love

when he's not sleeping, of course

eventually warms up to you when he finds out you can play a little bit

"you're not shit" (and you know that's a glowing compliment coming from him)

one day you find music sheets under the piano's hood, and you try to play them while yoongi's not around

then he appears beside you, rapping, and you keep going because it sounds really good

and when it’s all over you look at him and say

“i didn’t know they were into rap in the 19th century”

yoongi is more or less a living pet rock tbh

now that you’re sort-of friends he has these weird hyper episodes where he makes faces

he pretends to be drunk every so often

you can’t get mad because he’s really funny when he’s being silly and it’s better than seeing him be moody

the best day you spend together is you playing the piano and him freestyling

when you save up enough money you buy the piano

“it’s the thought of your bed being softer than the music store floor”

and yoongi complains about having to live in your cramped up apartment but you know???? he’s secretly glad

yoongi’s your personal accountant now

your budget has never been more efficiently used

a good portion of it goes to scented candles bc apparently ghosts can smell burning things??? who fucking knows

but seeing yoongi enjoying fruity scents is enough motivation tbh

you end up moving a lot but the old piano is the one thing you never leave behind

HOBI

you meet him at a haunted house event

normally you’re a big scaredy cat but the tour guide in the haunted house makes you laugh at every scary thing

and when you’re outside congratulating the organizers for thinking of such a program they have no clue what you’re talking about

you’re walking to the next ride when you see him hiding behind a potted plant, clearly waiting to be found

“i’m your hope, i’m your angel”

and you mishear him so you call him hobi and that’s what sticks

hobi talks to you the whole way and you let him because he seems like a really nice guy

when you get to your street you tell him this is where you part ways

with a wink and a smile he disappears

“WHAT REALLY"

while your neighbour’s lecturing you about being noisy you’re congratulating yourself for finding a real-life ghost in a haunted house

you dismiss it as a one-off thing but the next time you go to an arcade you find hobi hopping around on the old dance machines

“no tokens required,” he says, grinning

as a poltergeist he can sort of??? make things shake and rattle but no big movements

meaning he annoys your cat whenever he’s in your room

he’s a really fun ghost with a killer sense of direction

you’re new to the neighbourhood and he gives you a tour of the place, and beyond it

you ask him where he goes when he’s not with you and he shrugs

one day you see him at the amusement park talking to a little kid

turns out he visits all the orphanages and children’s homes nearby and checks if any of them can see him

he’s friends with so many children and they all laugh at the tricks he can do

when he sees you he’s not even embarrassed

he shows himself mostly to the lonely people, he tells you

you point at yourself incredulously

“ah, but sometimes i have to have fun, too”

hobi is the best anti-burglary alarm because he can nudge you just enough to wake you should anything go wrong

you'll find him haunting the university library

you meet him when you hear someone repeating “shUT UP MALFOY” and you shush them

“wow you can see me?”

and that’s how you become friends with the world’s most introspective ghost

tries to do a socratic dialogue by himself all the time

he’s the best person to study philosophy and logic with

when you get drunk you go to him and he asks you about the stars

“naMjoON pls i’m crying about my grades”

ah, but really, he’s a good shoulder to cry on metaphorically and metaphysically

you can tell he really cares and that’s a comfort

namjoon’s made a bunch of friends over the years, mostly alumni who, like you, can sense the supernatural

occasionally you see him walking around with them

despite all that, namjoon can be really silly

he loves watching tv and the two of you often catch series on your laptop together

you realize namjoon can’t read books because he can’t flip through the pages

so you buy a small music player and store audiobooks in it for him to listen to while the library’s closed

“if you thank me one more time namjoon i swear i’m never coming back again”

a couple of weeks later he disappears for a while

but you realize he just needs some time alone to think about life, the universe, and everything

one day you come there super hyped and muttering a verse from the new kendrick album

and namjoon joins in and then starts adding his own verses

sheepishly, he says, “i’ve been thinking about it”

anyway eventually you have to graduate and namjoon is really bummed but he always tries to keep a smile on around you

those dimples are lying to you

but you take a job as a researcher at the university so you’re there all the time anyway

he knows where all the good books are so you’re in the best hands

all you have to do is keep the books and music on his audio player updated and you have one happy ghost assistant

okay, i am probably the biggest nerd for greek mythology. what can i say? greek mythology is my achilles’ heel. so when i saw this fic, i knew immediately that i’d fall head over heels for it, and as i read it, i was right. cheel portrays jin as pygmalion so perfectly, and her way with words brings the story to life just as jin’s statue was brought to life. i absolutely love this story to bits, and i’m so excited for the namjoon greek myth fic she hints at in the ending. her writing is unbelie-bubbly amazing.

lori’s writing is absolutely magical pertaining to the way in which she can convey a plethora of emotions and make me feel completely immersed in the story. this fic is one of my favorites because it focuses on what seems to be just another regular moment in life, but it is actually so special and beautiful in its own way. it makes me appreciate the smaller moments and little things in life. and also, her jin fic–joke’s on you–is another one of my favorites!

my emotions were all over the place after reading this, and my brain was going haywire because this was so so so good. and i love the underlying theme of the fic that you kept throughout the progressing storyline. i live and breathe for rocker!tae honestly, like i adored every word of this fic, and i’m pretty sure i read your story at least four times by now. wow, i just love it so much, please never stop writing, you absolute goddess.

this fic made me feel so nostalgic and melancholic and yet so content at the same time. it was written in such a wonderful style, and the ending is bittersweet, like dark chocolate, and my heart simultaneously broke and grew like 129384123x bigger after reading this. i don’t know how else to describe it, but i really really enjoyed it, and to tell you the truth, my words won’t do enough justice for her fic, so please read it.

goodness gracious, this is the most breath taking piece of literature i have ever laid my eyes on. it was so beautifully written and how the relationship between the two characters developed over time makes me unbelievably happy, and i’m so satisfied with the natural progression. i can really feel myself getting caught up in the story and can imagine myself within the setting so perfectly. this fic is quite honestly one of my absolute favorites, and i always go back to reread it time and time again. and every single time, i die because of how flawless it is. cause of death: read ‘em and weep. gotta save the best for last, right? :D
