2B and 9S are deadly protective of you!

not only are you the last human known to exist, but you're also their beloved partner and so much weaker than any android and machine out there

the three of you are always together, because both of your android partners want to make sure you are safe

they trust each other to keep you safe, yet they still can't help but worry that something might go terribly wrong when they aren't there to protect you

9S and 2B are also dating each other, yet still get a bit jealous of each other when it comes to you

after all, 2B knows that there are things in a relationship that only 9S can offer you, like cheering you up with his energetic personality whenever you're sad

meanwhile 9S knows that he can't do everything that 2B can do, like protect you in battle and he worries that he's lacking too much for him to be your favorite

but you don't have any favorites between the two of them!

you love both of your partners and they both offer things the other one doesn't have, which is why they work so well together!

9S loves to hear you talk about humanity and how things used to be before the war, though often asking more about small things he doesn't understand

there was one time you came across an abandoned playground and you had to explain what a swing was to 9S, who couldn't understand how humans used something this inefficient, that only moved in such a limited space

9S loves to learn everything about humanity though and he tends to drown you in questions, until 2B steps in and tells him to slow down with all of the questions

2B is the more serious one out of the two and while you tend to have more fun with 9S, you can relax more with 2B and have meaningful conversations with her

2B often comforts you whenever you miss humanity and lends you a shoulder to cry on if you need to

9S on the other hand attempts to distract you as a way of cheering you up, by bringing you small gifts that might help lift your mood

but only 2B has enough courage out of the two of them to ask you uncomfortable questions about humanity and your past

for example, if you'd return to your normal life if you were given the chance and if you'd leave them behind…

though no matter how often that question comes up, your answer is always the same; you wouldn't leave those two for anything in the world!

having a baby with 9S might seem impossible at first, given that he's an android and you are a human

but as it turns out, all androids are very adaptable and were created to reproduce, both with their own kind and with humans

though there aren't any known cases of a human and an android having a baby together, which worries 9S exponentially

at first, he was head over heels for the idea to have a baby with you! but slowly, he begins to worry about the baby's health

something can go wrong even if two humans have a baby, but he's an android! he doesn't even know how your baby will turn out and if it can survive as a half-android and half-human

during your pregnancy, 9S often brings up his worries about the baby's health, but you always assure him that everything will turn out fine. call it motherly intuition…

when 9S isn't worrying about the baby, he's worrying about you! he doesn't want you to do any heavy lifting or any form of work!

9S will do any chore that needs to be done and he'll insist that you never leave the resistance camp, so you won't be attacked by any machines!

once the nine months are over, 9S stays by your side constantly, eagerly awaiting the birth of your child, while also worrying that something will go wrong

but once he finally holds the little one in his arms, he's overwhelmed with joy and crying his eyes out!

after a few hours, the wave of overwhelming happiness begins to fade though and 9S starts to realize just what you two achieved here

you made the first half-human and half-android baby! the thought of creating a new life was already unfathomable for him, but a new kind that has never been there before? it's amazing and terrifying at once!

9S is proud of the new life you two created and he vows to himself to always protect you and the baby!

but he also knows he can't do this another time. one pregnancy was stressful enough and he's happy with just having this one baby, that he'll give all his love and attention!
