I'm quite nervous to post this, since I know delivering these messages can be difficult and I don't like taking a harsh, judgmental approach. I hope this reading resonates. Your shadow self is the fearful side of you attached to anxiety. The side of you that does not believe you can save yourself from bad situations and feels endlessly hopeless, helpless and trapped. It causes a self-fulfilling prophecy, one where you think you'll inevitably fail, so you self-sabotage (either consciously or not) and end up "proving" yourself right.

However, as helpless as your shadow feels, it never asks for help. It's trapped in a spiral of shame and self-doubt, even self-hatred. All of this happens mentally for most of you, to the point where your body is neglected or stuck in flight / freeze mode. I feel stuck in the gutter, unable to move in the sticky mud. Despite your best efforts to succeed, you may suffer from impostor's syndrome as well, an inability to see your worth, your beauty and your own light. It's almost as if you're scared of your own power, pile one. Very painful, very self-inflicted and something which you may have learn from childhood, maybe you got bullied a lot or were heavily criticized by the people around you. If that happened, I'm so sorry pile one. You deserved so much better. You still do.

You know, when I was entering college, I had a counselor whose words were life changing to me. One day, he picked up a cup full of coffee and asked me: how do you get rid of the coffee, without throwing it out entirely? And I was puzzled. It wasn't possible. Him, in his neverending patience, took me to the water station and started pouring water onto it, until the coffee was cleared away and all that remained was clean, crystal liquid.

Maybe the bad things that happened still haunt you, but they can be drawn out by the good ones. Seek for the light, pile one. Seek the nurturing experiences, the days when you allow yourself to just be, seek the help, the love and stay open to the love. Stay open to the idea that yes, you are worthy, even if you do not feel like it, even if so many people have made you feel otherwise.

These wounds may not fade entirely with time, but you are more than them, always. Always. I know it's never easy to challenge what we've been taught about ourselves, but in order to unlearn all of that, you will have to learn the new things, the true things about you. If they said you were lazy - was that really true? Or were you just tired? You're not "naive", you're pure. You're not "too sensitive", you're in tune with your emotions.

The stories we tell ourselves hold power. What stories are you telling about yourself? Maybe it's time to switch to a new point of view, one where you can rewrite yourself as the person you were never allowed to be.

Your shadow self is the side of you that thrives in chaos - listen, that's not entirely a bad thing, after all, our shadow reflects something which we need to acknowledge, nurture and work with. However, when you perceive danger or feel threatened, you may turn to harsh words or hurtful actions to avenge yourself.

It can manifest in the form of extreme competitive behavior, the inability to rest, overworking, even maybe envy, jealousy and arrogance sometimes. Now, I'm not here to judge or shame you, you're safe here. I think you have and still feel the need to prove yourself to others, to prove them all wrong. Maybe other people told you that you couldn't do it - and you took it all personally, so personally that it crumbles your self-esteem when someone diminishes your efforts or accomplishments.

Your shadow side craves attention, praise and approval. You want to succeed, to be someone you're proud of, to just never feel insecure, diminished or ignored again. You can also turn possessive with loved ones, wondering if they really love you or if they are lying. There's a lot of skepticism here, too.

Acknowledge your feelings and these insecurities. "Fake it 'till you make it" doesn't always work. Being vulnerable is, ironically, also being strong. Understanding your limitations and allowing for other people to collaborate with you (and vice-versa) will take you even further in life.

Your sense of justice is commendable. Make sure you're using it for justice indeed, and not just vengeance. Your ambition can walk hand in hand with your desire to do good, to make space for everyone else to shine, to open up to others, let them see all of you. No one can love perfection - even if they could, what's there to love about something or someone so perfect that they barely feel human?

It's okay to be scared, to feel insecure, to not shove difficult emotions under the rug. We cannot be at our 100% all the time. And we cannot please everyone, all the time. What you can do is praise yourself, let others praise you when they do and accept it gracefully, making sure you're spreading your warmth and wisdom to others as well. See, I think you have overcome a lot and a lot of people could use your help, either in the form of advice, resources or a shoulder to lean on.

You have leadership potential, pile two. Don't limit yourself by being alone. We were never meant to make it on our own.

Your shadow self is someone who may indulge in harmful habits out of a need for instant gratification, maybe reckless spending, speed driving, partying everyday or simply not saving up resources and caring about the future. Your shadow self is someone who hates boredom, who craves excitement and cannot fully deal with long-term commitment in its many forms. It wants novelty, adventure and it comes at the cost of your responsibilities, your routine and your friendships even.

This shadow self hates suffering (fair enough, who doesn't?!) and will to go great lengths to avoid it... but ironically, it causes you more pain in the long run by avoiding the unavoidable. By never crying, never addressing your issues or your difficult moments, you end up running right back into yourself and these same issues return.

This side of you doesn't want to grow up - you don't want to fall into the trap of routine and a boring, 9-5 job. But excessive habits are difficult to maintain, no matter how good it feels in the short term. There's a difficult, troubled perception of adulthood and life itself. A need for constant adventure and chaos, a feeling of entrapment whenever you are with anyone who loves you, because you fear being controlled, tamed and used.

To put it simply, let yourself hurt. Let the foundations of your heart crumble, stop to feel just for a second. You don't have to be on the run all the time. What are you running from, pile three? Disaster, pain and hurt are often inevitable, but they do not have to be the be-all, end-all of our lives. The Tower is a reminder that all that crumbles was meant to crumble eventually, and there is beauty in letting things end naturally, allowing the flow of life to do its thing.

That means aging, growing, learning from the seasons. I think you have a very, very deep heart and mind you're scared to tap into. You're scared to be trapped in the endless hustle, to never feel alive or good once you "settle". But who says the big joys are the only ones that matter? As someone said once, big joys and small joys are often the same. Sometimes, waking up in itself can be an adventure. Don't overlook or underestimate the ways life tries to find you, to cling to you - remember to embark on the hard journeys, knowing you'll have gotten something valuable in the end.

You're brave and rebellious. You can be a catalyst for change in so many ways. Who said adulthood has to be boring? Who said you have to work a 9-5? Do you have to get married? Maybe being a stay-at-home parent isn't for you. That's okay.

Challenging the status quo may not be easy, but you have a natural inclination for it. Your shadow self can dive deeper. It's one of your greatest tools. Your need for joy and fun is not shameful - you can use it for healing, instead of self-destruction.

Your shadow self is the side of you that refuses to acknowledge your needs, your wants and desires. It makes you live inside of a bubble, scared of the truth, even if it will set you free. I had the hardest time shuffling for this pile, I kept trying and trying but nothing made sense. I think this is how your shadow side manifests as well, in the lack of clarity, the fogginess that permeates the choices you've regretted.

It's both reckless and frozen, completely lost in a maze, confused, looking for a path, for directions, for anything. It's almost as if you lost your compass, nothing eventually guides you and you remain looking for the directions only you have.

It's too scared to admit what it wants, who you are. Both out of fear of what other people will say, but also out of fear that it'll all go wrong. It's the side of you that remains disconnected from yourself, hidden because it keeps highlighting the aspects you keep trying to ignore, to not know. It can manifest in a lot of ways, either through people-pleasing or being completely reckless. Through lying, denial or even isolation from the world, from life itself.

Something funny is that a song by Bad Suns that just started playing really relates to this pile. "Cinderella slips into a dream like a curse / you could mistake it for heaven at first." This shadow self may live in projection, daydreaming or simply keep you out of touch with everything.

Engagement and socializing are big ways you can work with your shadow self. Being actively curious about the world, about people. Approaching relationships, truths and life itself with genuine interest, no judgement or shaming thoughts involved.

Telling yourself you're an eternal student of this world, because we are and remembering you don't have to know everything. Start scared. Most things, you'll have to do it scared. Unprepared. In the thick of it all, you'll find the answers you need, but only if you are willing to dive deep for them. No taking shortcuts, making assumptions or allowing self-doubt to paralyze your living, because you need to witness life as it is.

Therapy is one big thing, music as well. Anything that connects you to your deepest self, relationships that genuinely make room for who you are, good friends that feel safe and non-judgemental. summary: you invite chou tzuyu, a girl you know nothing yet everything about, over for a quiet night of studying. things don't go to plan as you're invited to a party and forced to reveal your feelings for each other in a not-so-glamorous way.

You usually don't have time for parties. With classes, hobbies, and friends in the mix, you're squeezed for time on a regular basis. Although you try to find time to go out and have fun, life usually has other plans for you.

So here you are, 6 p.m. on a Saturday, doing homework for a class.

What a life.

Your phone rings with a familiar tone. You didn't have one set for most of your contacts except the Paladins, your family, and Chou Tzuyu.

Since the sound emanating from your phone is one of Hongjoong's mixtapes that he sent to you, you know exactly who's calling you.

"Hey, Tzuyu," You answer the phone before pausing your typing at your computer, "what's up?"

"Do you mind if I come over and study? There's so much noise at the house, I can't concentrate-"

"No problem," You answer quickly, albeit a bit too quickly for friendly chatter, "You need a ride?"

"Yeah, that'd be great. Are you sending an Uber?"

"Nah, I'll ask Katie. She won't mind." You pull the phone away from your ear after turning on speaker mode.

Although Katie was the affectionate boomer hater, she'd gladly bend over backward to please you. You often wished that she'd take care of herself as well as she took care of you... but you didn't mind using your "Katie's Favorite Paladin" privileges every now and again.

You hear Tzuyu sigh as something in the background hits a wall and shatters.

"I'll be there in fifteen minutes. See you then."

Ever the punctual woman, Tzuyu ends the phone call before you can engage in any friendly chatter. You wonder if you'd even call yourself friends - sure, you two hang out a lot, but all you talk about is classes, homework, or your friends' stupid antics.

You want to know more about her - who is Chou Tzuyu, really?

And why do you have a crush on her?

"Thanks for letting me study here tonight. If I had to mediate another fight, I would've lost it." Tzuyu mumbles as she unloads her stationary onto your desk.

You grab a chair from another room before moving your shit to the side. She offers you a smile before opening her laptop as you sit down and start to work on your own things.

"Hey, you two need anything?" Katie peeks into the room as you two look up at her.

"I'm good, thanks." Tzuyu says as you nod.

"Since you pre-made some snacks for us, I'm alright."

"You didn't have to-"

"No, it's no trouble, Dami called me earlier and I've been making food since. I trust that you two will leave some leftovers." Katie pushes away Tzuyu's concern before grabbing a set of car keys. "If you two change your mind, the party's only a block away. Feel free to walk over and join the rest of human civilization."

With that, Katie heads out of the apartment, leaving you and Tzuyu to your own devices.

"Do you want to order a pizza or something?" You ask as you close your computer.

Katie's pre-made snacks are now nothing but crumbs - perhaps you can shoulder the blame to King again?

Yet again, Katie and Tzuyu were friends, so she'd hopefully let it slide.

"I'm full, thanks." As always, she doesn't offer any friendly chatter.

Tzuyu quietly packs up her things, but she doesn't make any effort to leave the apartment. Neither do you, but you can't find the words to say in order to engage in any meaningful conversation.

"Are you in the mood for some hell-raising?" You ask as you grab your phone. "I don't know if parties are your style, but the Paladins make them fun for everyone."

"I'll go if you do." She softly says as you grab your jacket.

"Let's get going, then."

(You really need to work on your conversational skills.)

The party was already hectic when the two of you arrived. People were already drunk (people being two of the three older Paladins - at least Neon had his shit together).

"I thought this was supposed to be 'an intimate gathering among friends'?" Tzuyu quips as she leans against the door.

"Word gets out fast, I guess." You shrug before making your way towards the kitchen. "Katie?"

"In here!" She yells over the buzz of the crowd as the two of you file into the kitchen. "I'm a bit busy, but I'm glad you could make it. Feel free to mingle if you two would like. Oh, and could you two keep an eye on King and Sparrow for me?"

"I thought that was Neon's job?" You ask as Katie scoffs.

"First off, he's terrible at that job because he usually gets drunk with them. Second, he and Siyeon went to get more booze," Katie smiles to herself before adding, "I'll have to thank Ryujjn later for hiding the rest of the booze."

"You're such a little shit-"

"-I prefer the term matchmaker, thank you very much." Katie corrects you. "Now go find the other boomers before they fuck up my plan."

"You have a plan?" Tzuyu tilts her head as Katie laughs.

"Oh, I always have a plan."

"Because I'd rather not have to get infected by a parasite to get your attention. Being bitten by a vampire sounds less painful." Tzuyu says before you cough into your drink.

After hustling the crowd for a little bit of money, since you know how drunk Sparrow and King can get, Katie invites the gawking crowd to play another game.

"How about we play Spin the Bottle?"

It was a terrible idea, really, since tempers had already been flaring a bit. But what was wrong with a little more chaos?

You had joined the small crowd that was headed towards another part of the living room. You noticed some familiar faces - Katie, Jinsoul, Dami, Ryujin, and Heejin, among others - but Tzuyu hung back from the crowd.

"Come on over and observe the chaos. You don't have to play." You mouth to her as you make eye-contact with her.

"Are you sure that you don't mind me watching?" She says as you nod to her.

She walks over as people start to make another circle - this one is more messy, but you take a seat in between Katie and Ryujin.

Katie takes the bottle and slides it towards Jinsoul on the other side of the circle.

"You should go first since you didn't get to play Truth or Drink." Katie smiles at Jinsoul, who eagerly grabs the bottle from the floor.

"Let's make this party interesting." She spins the bottle as Tzuyu takes a seat behind the seated circle.

You find yourself holding your breath as you watch the bottle spin around and around on the floor. Nervousness develops in your stomach - not because you're nervous about kissing one of the girls, but you're more nervous about kissing a girl in front of Tzuyu.

You weren't sure exactly what the two of you were - friends? in the talking stage? two acquaintances? study buddies? somewhere in-between?

But she always made time to see you. Between her extracurriculars and the hefty class schedule, Tzuyu had little time to spare. You didn't fail to notice that she didn't have homework to work on when you agreed to study together. You'd even catch her staring at you sometimes, when she didn't catch you first.

You never called each other friends or anything more, but you want to know more about Chou Tzuyu. What were you doing together when you didn't even know what you were to each other?

You're playing with fire when you talk to Tzuyu. You fall deeper for her, unsure if she feels the same way.

Now, as the bottle slows down, it feels like the flames are burning you alive.

But you're lucky as it lands on Heejin, who happily accepts a cheek kiss from her friend.

This was a truly terrible idea, you think to yourself, as Heejin grabs the bottle and spins it.

Maybe you'll make it out of this without ruining whatever you have with Tzuyu, or without embarrassing yourself.

Of course, nothing was ever that simple.

Heejin's spin landed on Yeji, who drunkenly chased the former around until a kiss was successfully planted on Heejin's forehead.

Yeji, after three failed attempts, managed to spin the bottle enough for it to land on Ryujin. Cheers erupted as the first lip-to-lip contact was made.

Then the drama starts as Ryujin spins the bottle and it lands to your right.

The neck of the bottle points directly at Katie, who stares in shock before leaning over to look at Ryujin.

You feel like you're in-between something serious as Dami, on the other side of the circle, looks on with curiosity.

Ryujin moves to the side before pulling Katie close. The two share a quick kiss before returning to their spots. Katie takes the bottle in her hands, but she quickly shakes her head and hands it back to Ryujin.

"You should go again. It's only fair since you didn't get to play earlier." Katie says as Ryujin nods in agreement.

"Sounds good to me." Ryujin spins the bottle as Katie nervously bites her lip while staring at a single spot on the floor.

You offer her a sympathetic pat on the back that helps relax her a bit.

Katie sighs in relief before muttering, "I knew things were going to get tense, but I was hoping that I would be outside of the drama."

You smile to yourself as the shenanigan-making Paladin gets bitten in the ass by a product of her own design.

"You shouldn't have played with fire if you didn't want to get burned." You tease as she scoffs.

"That's why I wanted to sit next to Ryujin. The bottle never lands on the person next to the spinner." She says as the bottle Ryujin spins on lands on you.

"I wish the situational irony was less subtle." You grumble as Katie offers you a quick side hug.

"You shouldn't have played with fire if you didn't want to get burned~"

"Very funny." You roll your eyes as you face Ryujin.

"I get to kiss two Paladins in one night? I should buy a lottery ticket or something." Ryujin smirks before leaning in to kiss you.

You nervously bite your lip before starting to lean in - Tzuyu won't mind, right? It's just a silly children's game.

Luckily, your lips never meet Ryujin's as Tzuyu hauls you off of your feet and drags you into the kitchen.

"Wait a minute-" You try to protest, but her grip on the back of your shirt is ironclad as she pulls you away from any prying eyes.

A few mutters ring out from the group your left behind, but screams quickly take over as another victim is selected.

"What was that about?" You say as Tzuyu lets go of your shirt.

"I didn't want you to kiss Ryujin."

"Yeah, I figured that one out when you hauled me away from her in a hurry. It's almost like you're the one who wanted to kiss me." You joke, just as you always do with all of your friends.

She looks away from you, towards the window that faces the street.

She's deadly serious.

You feel like a total jerk.

Tzuyu navigates towards the door with disappointment on her face as you trial after her.

"Wait, hold on, I didn't think you seriously liked me-"

"-of course I did! Why else do you think I want to hang out with you and do homework? I don't even have homework half of the time!" She sounds exasperated as she pauses her stride to glance at you.

"I wasn't really sure if we were friends or if you wanted to be more." You offer her your hand, and she takes it. "I'm sorry if I gave mixed signals or if I pushed you away from me. I didn't mean to, at all."

"I'm sorry, too. I didn't mean to pull you away from your friends. I just didn't want you kissing any other girl at this party.." She trails off before you encouragingly squeeze her hand.

"-besides you?" You smile at her. "Don't worry, you're the only one I've thought about kissing all night."

You lean forward and kiss her cheek. Tzuyu offers you a wide smile, one that you've rarely seen.

It's enough to tempt you closer as you pull back and go for her lips this time.

Unfortunately, your bliss is short-lived as Sparrow slams the door open. You and Tzuyu immediately part - she's red in the face as you're trying to wipe her lipstick off your face.

"King got mud on my shoes, that motherfucker!" She screams, completely unaware to your presence. "NEOOOOON!"

She hollers for the oldest Paladin before stumbling into the living room as a mud-clad King walks into the house.

"Have I ever told you about the one time-" He says to absolutely no one before wandering into the kitchen.

Kim Lip follows closely behind, throwing you a wink before shoving King into the kitchen to give you two some privacy.

"Your friends are something, but mine aren't much better." Tzuyu laughs before sliding in next to you. "Shall we rejoin the party?"

"Yeah, otherwise Katie will be making up all sorts of lies about me." You mutter.

"C'mon, lovebirds, join the fun! We swapped games, and Twister's getting pretty intense!" Katie yells as the crowd screams in unison before someone falls to the ground.

It's never uneventful around her, but you don't mind having a slice of normalcy with Tzuyu. Especially since she's holding your hand and kissing your face every once in a while.

Hopefully, the blackmail isn't as bad as what you have on the other Paladins.

art - wattpad. i was 12 and started making book covers for people haha. i got really into photo manipulation after that and took that as my focus in vocational school and then went and did about two semesters of it in college. sims - i was 11 and wanted the paranormal pack. my mom went out and bought it for me because i begged for it for days. i played with it daily and eventually collected all of the sims 3 packs except for the last one. it took me a long time to switch to sims 4 after release because i was stubborn. i bought it like four months late, opened it twice, hated that i didn't understand the controls, and refused to play it again until a few months later.

13.) What do you watch/listen/read/anything else while you create?

youtube mostly, in the background. a lot of flabaliki/simssupply and buzzfeed unsolved because i love them and their dumb faces so much.

It's infuriating the way you weaved yourself through his heart and soul. He’s not supposed to be feeling like this. He's a curse, the worst of them all, yet here he is smiling to himself while thinking of you.

Thinking about how you always touch him so gently as if he were something fragile, thinking about the sickeningly sweet words of love you whisper in his ear throughout the day, thinking about the way you look at him like he’s someone worthy of your love, and don’t get him started on your ability to make his blacked-out heart of stone beat in a way its never done before, not even when he was alive.

He never thought that a little mortal thing like you would be able to bring the king of curses to his knees.

He never planned on confessing to you about how you make him feel. He refused to call it love. "Curses are unable to love" he always told you. "Curses are created from sick,twisted and sad emotions, not love, so they should not be able to love either." His reason for protecting you, keeping you safe and warm and happy, spoiling you in anything you want, holding you with the softest touches, and sending the sweetest smiles your way was that it's purely done for entertainment. Sukuna never really confessed because he didn't need to. Despite him trying to convince you that curses can't love, you know that he does love you even if he has a hard time saying it. There was a moment where he did try to tell you. It was at night, the stars shone brightly and the full moon reflected beautifully on his skin. You were sitting on a soft blanket in the grass and sukuna’s head that was adorned with a flower crown you put on him earlier and he refused to take it off rests on your lap. The two of you were supposed to be stargazing but he could not keep his eyes off of you, every time he tried it didn't take long before his eyes started drifting back to your face to admire how the moonlight kissed your skin and the way the stars reflected in your eyes. You looked nothing short of ethereal. god, he’s irrevocably in love with you.

He doesn’t know how you do it but you could always read him so well, so when your gaze met his you could tell exactly what he’s thinking. “ I know. you don’t have to say it out loud”

In return for your kindness and sparing him the embarrassment of stuttering over his words, he kissed you and let the kiss express what he is too afraid to say out loud.

1. My smile. My bite changed after my last filling and I've been grinding my front teeth when I sleep--it's a whole thing--so my front teeth have shifted/changed and it makes me feel A Lot of Things, none of which are good, so. But prior to this past year/grinding issues, my smile would be the first thing. My big ass, cheesy, goofy smile. In the early days Baby Daddy said something to me about cheesing too hard in pictures. I said, "That's my smile?? That's just the way I smile???" and honestly I could have saved myself 12 years of BS if I had called things off then.

2. My empathy. Earliest memory of understanding my empathy, before I started reading books harder than Goosebumps and Baby-Sitter's Club, was when my grandpa took me to see The Lion King in theaters. I was 9. I cried when Mufasa died--hot tears silently pouring down my face. I tried not to let anyone see but my grandpa asked if I was okay, if I needed to leave. I was fine, didn't want to leave, it was just a very big emotion.

3. My independence. I've worked hard to provide for myself and my kids. My oldest chose to live with their dad full-time after we split, but I have my other two. I have had my own place for almost 6 years now, working on buying it. Never had utilities shut off for non-payment. No eviction notices. I was an only child with a single parent (mom) who worked multiple crappy jobs to provide for me. Life wasn't always stable when I was young. Being able to provide more stability than I had and some extras, even if it doesn't feel like enough because I am limited by a single income and a crappy career, means more to me than I can say. Nothing negative toward my mom, either, because she did her best and made it work, even when times were very, very lean.*

4. My freedom. I dated one person off and on during high school, then ended up involved with them shortly after high school. Spent 12 years with them and had three kids together. It was never a good relationship, though I loved them and I believe they loved me. We were toxic to each other. During those years I grew up, learned about myself, and became the human I am today. I learned what I can and cannot tolerate while in a relationship. Things reached a tipping point in our early 30s and we split. Luckily we were never married, so it was easy. They didn't cause many issues and the end was as amicable as could have been expected. I unlearned the toxicity and I'm happier now than I've ever been in my life... and terrified of losing the happiness and freedom. Dating is a bitch. I like the idea but emotions freak me out (and I runrunrun).

5. My creativity. I've always approached art as anyone can make it, they just have to try and practice (the internet is an amazing resource for art--seriously, yall, so many blogs and youtube tutorials for everything. If you are patient and give yourself space to make mistakes, learn, and try again, you will grow). I'm not great, I dabble in too many things, but I enjoy making my art (writing, painting, cardmaking, sewing). The act of creating is the important part.
