Old Barrooms, Saving Grace & Guitars - Chapter One 🐞🤠

A/N: Alohaz, my dear bugsies, this is not requested, but instead a prompt I saw, for the 'month of love' to write about a rockstar, and who better than our 'Dean Winchester', but I'm gonna warn, y'all this is a tear-jerker, I hope you all enjoy this first chapter, if you do, please let me know.❤️🐞

Description: Famous Country-Rock Artist, High On Drugs, Booze & Guilt, after almost hitting rock bottom and meeting a angel in a smoky old bar room, his saving Grace, he finds his way, during the last words she'll ever say.

Chapter One 🐞🤠

The sound of the acoustic guitar plays throughout the studio, the man's voice, tugging every heart string as his southern draw comes through with every word, ''You were my saving Grace, my safe space, maybe if I prayed a little longer, the bond between me and up above would've been stronger, maybe if you told me sooner I could've loved you for a while more, but that's not what fate had in-store, between my whisky drinking, my heart and hopes sinking, into the darkness I wanted to dive, then you came along, with your eyes, looking so full of life, I'm man enough to admit that at first I hated you, my heart already knew, but my mind had no clue, Your honesty took me by surprise, your smile could brighten up a room like a sunrise, your sweet voice told me not to fall in love, but how could I not, ho do I just make it stop, when I first tasted your lips, feeling the touch of your fingertips, you made it possible again, for me you know, the part of living, when the news came you were dying, of course it destroyed me, she just smiled and said that's how it's supposed to be, I found my way, in the last words, she'll ever say, during her last breath, I found my will to live, I realized during that time, I found true meaning of love and light, Knowing, she weren't just my lover, she was my Saving Grace, oooooh, she was my saving Grace''

As he looks up over the studio, you can see his emerald-green eyes, is moist, his dirty-blonde beard, defining his amazing jawline, the smile on his rosy plum lips is warm, raking his longer hair through his fingers, so it will fall backwards, and out of his face, showcasing the lines on his face, telling a story of a few hard years. His smoky voice fills the emotional crowd. ''Thank you'' he mouthed.

Walking closer to the dark brown armchair, he greets the woman with the short blonde her, pulling her into a side hug.

Her voice a little hoarse, ''Welcome Dean, glad you could finally make it,''

''Thank you for having me'' he smiles

''That song was beautiful as always, it always leaves a tear or two,'' she chuckles, while swiping away the last evidence of the wetness on her cheek.

Letting out a laugh ''Thank you, this song means more to me than anyone will ever know,''

''Yes, for sure, its so different from your usual stuff'' she suggested

''That's very true Claire, the other songs were just words, stringed together, but this, this, song its a story, its my reality, it was Grace's reality, it speaks about me hitting rock bottom and how she saved me'' his voice breaking a little at the end.

''I hear you, that woman had a voice of an angel'' she said smiling

''More like a choir of southern angels'' he lets out a chuckle

Laughing with the good looking man, ''Tell me Dean how does it feel knowing, you've reached double platinum and millions of online streams, with your song 'Saving Grace'''

Pulling his fingers through his hair, a smile curving on his lips ''You know Claire, I feel blessed of course, I never thought that it would reach so many people, but I'm satisfied in knowing that it means so much to them''

The live studio crowd, cheers and claps, in response. One of the guest's takes the microphone , going around, ''Excuse me Dean, can I ask you a personal question?''

Turning his glance towards the woman in the crowd, smiling, ''I'm a open book, ask away''

Smiling excitedly, ''How did you two meet, or rather what's the story behind the song?''

Letting out a nervous chuckle, ''Well, I met her during the darkest time of my life, when none of you wanted to listen to my music anymore, and I was a drunken, jerk with a huge ego''

''I always loved your music'' she laughs

''Thank you'' he smiles ''Well it all started two years ago''

''Thank You'' he shouted, stumbling off the stage, with his guitar, holding onto the walls, as he walks backstage, ordering the drummer, for another bottle of whiskey, Garth just shook his head, and handed him the bottle, knowing, there's no use trying to make him see the light.

As he fell down, on the couch of his dressing room, swallowing, away the gold liquid, hearing his manger saying the same old tune, ''Dean, you got to start getting your act together, your loosing fans with your drunken ass, when last did you write, some of your own songs''

Glaring at the old man, ''The people love me, I'm Dean freaking Winchester, best damn, country-rock artist, they've ever heard, the charts don't lie'' he slurred,

Clearly frustrated with Dean the old man leaves, walking into the smoky old barroom. The bar was just almost too quiet, you could hear a pin drop so to say. Glancing over at the stage, there stood a woman, he heard about her, but never really heard sing.

Her voice was sweet and filled with a deep southern accent, almost like Wynonna Judd, or Dolly Parton. ''Good evening, Nashville, who's ready to go back to their old country roots, tonight I'll be doing one of my favorite songs of Carolyn Dawn Johnson,'' the crowd cheered ''Yes y'all its 'Die of a broken heart'

'And take me fast or take me slow

I don't really care how I go

In the daylight or in the dark

A sweet smile, on her face, revealing the rosy cheekbones, her fair skin damp, from the heat, her strawberry blonde, hair draped over her shoulders, the blue denim jacket hugging her hourglass figure, her electric blue eyes glistening, with the stage lights, her voice filled with life, ''Hit it Jimmy, lets give these folks a little taste of a simple life''

As he listened too this beauty singing her heart out, he had an idea. Almost running over too Dean after he'd had a talk with her manager, only too find the man passed out drunk. When he promised his daddy he'd take care off him, he'd never would've guessed this would happen, he's not really sure were Dean's life took a turn for the worst, maybe the day his brother walked away, not wanting to deal with his crap anymore, hell maybe the day, his fame went to his head, maybe the day the car crash took Kevin's life, but whatever it was, he needs too find a way to help him, and something tells him that Grace Tucker is the answer.

Now that I’ve actually got my music streaming correct (been off the scene for about a decade..((tragic, i know)) too much dancing and not enough singing), I’m happy to celebrate my ever-lasting love for music 🎧

So here we go, I’m sharing 4 songs every weekend to bring the people happiness and inner warmth for the soul, starting with songs I would say I have the deepest connection with; this week it’s all about the rock and roll just to show you guys what I’m about.

Firstly I want to show you Iggy, the man famous for being a sex-crazed, drug-maniac who was always writhing around on stage, cutting himself with glass and who was in and out of rehabs* for his hardcore lifestyle.

*David Bowie famously used to bring him his heroin whilst he was meant to be getting clean.

Secondly I am proud to show you the only artist of this week’s list that I have actually seen live (he still checks in on my mum on socials to see how she is ^^’). Also a heroin addict for many years but from what I know I would class him as a reasonably responsible drug user “I’d always try to be as clean as possible when I was playing music”. Another reason why I am proud to show you this song is that it features in ‘Paul’ (starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Seth Rogan*). Nearly at the final track but before that we have the Hanoi Rocks, headed by frontman Michael Monroe(pictured. blonde). A Finnish glam-rock group who basically crafted the genre and went on to inspire ‘pioneering’ groups like Mötley Crüe and Guns ‘n’ Roses. Well, fuck them! The Hanoi Rocks were the REAL DEAL! THE REAL PIONEERING MUTHAS IN 80’S ROCK! Other members of the band included Andy McCoy and Razzle* (R.I.P)

Does SF have any new feelings on all of these little “leaks” stating Melissa is there?

My new feelings are the same as my old feelings 🙈🙉🙊 None of these "leaks" would be happening if AMC didn't condone them, but if you're asking me whether I believe Melissa is there, then yes.

On if it will be announced tomorrow that Melissa is back?

AMC has never announced anything in the way normal networks do, but they need to present their slate and make it appealing to advertisers, particularly with their new service, Audience+. They'll have to put lipstick on the pig that's S1 so someone will invest and the easiest way of doing that would be to announce Melissa's return.

On if we won’t be hearing about “the Daryl show” anymore?

Like MT, I'd like a proper title to be announced and by proper, I mean one that will give some kind of indication as to what the show is about, like The Last of Us, Stranger Things, or Game of Thrones. Even "More Tales of the Walking Dead" is more descriptive than "The Daryl Show" (it's not a sitcom) or "Raise the Dead" (which is illogical).

I'd also like to hear from Zabel, so we could get a sense for how in charge he is. Those revisions to 201 (as seen in the picture of the cover page) give me pause. I think I know why an outsider was brought in instead of promoting from within the franchise, but until we get a statement or even a soundbite, this spinoff could be at DEFCON 5 or 1.

Kristin Dolan will speak, so that should give us a better idea of what she's got planned for the network and by extension, TWDU.

Tacking these on here since I can't comment on other comments:

retiredkat: The move to France has benefited one person.

Correlation does not equal causation. Yes, Norman benefited, but he wasn't the only one to do so and out of the two, he had less power (and less of a motive) to affect a shift in concept or location.

retiredkat: AMC could have sued MMB for breach of contract if she truly backed out for no good reason, correct? I just don’t understand how France was untenable a year ago, but now it is.

Well, there are exit clauses in those contracts, so there's no need for the studio to sue. The money you'd owe for breach of contract and loss of profits is prohibitive and your reputation is shot afterwards. No one would hire you.

France being untenable is still just the official agreed upon excuse as to why Melissa was let go. It was never the actual reason, just like she didn't need a break, nor had a change of mind and before someone jumps in to say it, neither did she nurse her elderly father who doesn't even live in the same state.

Welcome

Hey Guys and welcome to my new Blog,

after some time thinking I've decided to start a new blog on tumblr for a new beginning! My first blog was @titanjujuzist , maybe you know it😊 I wasn't very active there, but I want to change that with this new blog!

I'm really motivated to write something for my favorite Fandoms: Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man and maybe for some more if I have ideas for them, but that depends on my motivation🙊 I will focus mainly on these two awesome Fandoms, for now😊

For Chainsaw Man I have decided that I will only write for special persons at the moment, maybe that will change, we will see🙊😊 The characters I will write for are:

Kishibe, Yoshida, Aki, Quanxi and Angel

For Jujutsu Kaisen I love to write especially for Nanami, he is my absolute favorite character (same goes for Kishibe from Chainsaw Man🙈), but I also write for all the other characters except Geto and Mahito, sorry but I really can't stand them..

I will try my best to keep everything genderneutral, except when you explicitely request for a certain gender, etc. With this I hope many of you can relate to my writings :D

Also I will repost some of my older works, sorry if you already know them🙈 But for now I think I have talked enough and I hope that you will send me some Requests! The Ask Box is OPEN for you😁

Tanabata began as a summer festival in Japan some time during the Edo period (1603-1867). This was one of Japan's many cultural imports from the land of everything cool—China. Seriously, this was a time when everything China did and had seemed fascinating to the Japanese.

Essentially, Tanabata Festival is the equivalent of Valentine's Day in the West as it celebrates the annual reunion of Orihime (weaver princess) and Hikoboshi (cowherd man). Orihime and Hikoboshi are the Japanese names for Vega and Altair—the brightest stars that can be seen facing each other but separated by the ama no gawa ginga (天の川銀河; silver river of the Heavens a.k.a the Milky Way Galaxy) during the summertime.

So like, Ionno who Deneb would be in this tale🙊Maybe Hikoboshi’s dead cow who’s become a Spirit Guide?🐮I’m a fucking criminal🙈

In Chinese, this festival is called Qixi (七夕; seventh evening). The Japanese reading is Tanabata and Korean Chilseok🎋China's sister countries adapted the tradition and made variations to the origin story of the Star-Crossed Lovers—Vega and Altair who were separated by the Milky Way. Chinese folktales typically arrived in Japan through the latter’s relation with Korea at the time. The Korean adaptation had already altered the dynamic of Orihime and Hikoboshi's relationship, as well as the reason they could not stay together, but—

Ngl, I hate the Japanese adaptations—yeah, there’s more than one—so much because they just had to go and add oni (demons) and momotaro-style adventure and then utterly ruin the bittersweet romance. If you didn’t know yet, Japanese folktales always involve oni!👹But… but… the original Chinese tale is so much more lucid and romantic that way!🥵And so you should check out that cool video up there because the PAC for this Tanabata Special is aenergetically resonant with the original cosmic tale🧝🏻‍♀️🌌🧝🏻‍♂️Yeah, it’s kinda a sad story when all things are considered, though; because—

The seventh evening of the seventh month is the only time of the year the lovebirds are allowed to meet by mandate of the Queen Mother of the Jade Emperor. The reason being, racism or deiteism or something hahah🥲Orihime was a deity and Hikoboshi was a mortal; that said, their relationship was scandalous😝Wow, when you really think about it, the Korean and Japanese adaptations actually managed to disregard the racism deiteism altogether and changed it into something more of a cautionary tale LMAO Anyway—

If on the day of Tanabata it rains, people usually say Orihime and Hikoboshi aren’t able to meet that year☔️But yo, I've got to wonder: isn’t it only mortal Hikoboshi who suffers in this story because he has to wait year after year to meet Orihime, just for a day? For Orihime who lives in the Heavens, she literally waits for only a DAY!🤯

Spirits/guides/deities/angels/higher selves/whatever the fuck do not know (or seem to care) the sorrows of being Human, darn it🤬

Okay so, I’m not sure how Tanabata is celebrated exactly in China and Korea, but in Japan it’s the wish-making through the use of tanzaku that’s the centre of Tanabata’s dreamy romanticism. -Am I the only one who thinks that?-

A bunch of magpies and crows took pity on their predicament and decided to band together to create a massive bridge of birds so Orihime and Hikoboshi get to spend an entire day picnicking in the sky🍱hahah

The story of Orihime and Hikoboshi is one of true love, but for me personally, also of destined Soulmate Mission on Earth. Orihime being a deity from the Heavens (higher realms of existence) was an advanced soul—practically an extraterrestrial—who taught Humans all kinds of Arts for the betterment of their livelihood. She also beautified Hikoboshi’s lonely life on Earth (his cow died, okay?!) On top of that, her relationship with a mere mortal (who was in every way loyal, kind, nurturing and gentle) was also seen as taboo and disgraceful, thus the forced separation. However, in spite of social class(?), race(?), distance, differences, and punishment, both deity and mortal remained in love with each other with unwavering devotion💞

Tell me if you don't see Orihime and Hikoboshi meeting each other on the bridge of magpies and crows! And the synchronous element? This is the suit of Swords—telling me of Orihime and Hikoboshi's strong characters that drive them to fight for their union. Also, the fact that they are each other's Soul Mates—they are each other's perfect equal—respect between them comes naturally as they acknowledge each other’s Divinity👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

If only you'd know how long it took me to calm down from freaking out—I'd never pulled out cards like this before. And if you had the audacity to suspect that I handpicked these cards myself— I wouldn't blame you at all!🤣🤣What even is this?!🤯

My entire Life, I never really understood what this song is about—the lyrics are strange, but the opening and ending lines are my favourite as they touch my heart in a strange, inexplicable fashion:

Being "forced" to receive the things you want and need, but are too proud or even scared to ask for, is a major theme in the story. And I put it there for the same reason because I'm the exact same way 🙈You really just saw into the heart of my story, anon! I feel so seen

I write A LOT of smut. Short stories, text posts, and of course the heisen fic here on Tumblr, but I also write stuff for other sites and there's a ton of stuff in my gdrive that's as yet unpublished - and the common thread running through a lot of it is aggressive desire in the service of making the protagonist whole and fulfilled, whether they ask for it or not. Which they usually don't 🤣It's hard to know what to do, or how much to give, how little regard to give to past mistakes ... Whoever I write as the aggressor in the story, has to cut through all that bullshit.

And if there's one thing we all know about Karl: its that he doesn't tolerate the bullshit 🤣🤣🤣

I'd actually completely forgotten you telling me about Z.N...! I think it was probably nothing though, how old was he 18?? If she was around for Christmas family dinner then its probably because she was a just a family friend or had nowhere else to go.

Those Steward dynamics are interesting though and I love trying to suss them out - they made a big fuss over A.S for Harry, he even did that public 'welcome to the family symo' post 👀 I often wonder how much control H has over Fred as an older brother too, because Alice, her stepmother and her dad all got a ticket from Fred's 10 for the ALL BLACKS GAME. Like that is crazy to me, you brothers gf and her family using up 3 of your 10 family tickets?! I remember him jokingly saying in an interview once that there are sometimes family 'arguments' over who should get tickets and I'm like oh honey they should be YOURS to give out and choose!

But yeh Alice and R.V met their grandad too and look how that turned out...👀🙈 The boys all seem very driven I'd say/incapable of long term stuff, so their family holidays of 5 will probably continue into their late twenties which is nice for their parents!

Also Jack likes thin blonde girls but will probably never end up with one - bet he can't speak to them! Whereas he'll be more comfortable and friendly with 'chubby' brunettes and therefore have more of a connection with them

Also I've never heard anything more ludicrous than flying from AUSTRALIA to SPAIN because you've got fomo - I despair for gen z.
