The Escort
Walter Marshall x Reader
Tumblr media
Words: 2,064
Warnings: none
Happy super late Valentine’s, Cavillry! As usual, this is a very very late upload but in my defense, it does say in my bio that I am a procrastinator soooo... Anyway, I’m really excited about this miniseries because I love the movie (The Wedding Date, 2005) and I really wanted to write Walter, I hope I do him justice!
Feedback (good and bad!) means the world to me as rookie writer, so I hope you’ll like, reblog and leave me some replies!
---------------------------------------
You could not believe you were doing this. You just couldn't. But there you were doing it, even though your mind screeched at you to stop and save a little dignity for yourself.
The fact that you even considered doing this was already a serious loss of dignity points, so what the hell. People did this all the time, didn’t they? There wouldn’t be a whole network of people clumped into this app if it wasn’t a normal occurrence.
It just wasn’t a normal occurrence for you.
Once you filled your head with rationalisations to make yourself feel better, you took a deep breath and began browsing through what the great city of New York had to offer.
Z, 6’, loving hands, fit, athletic, good manners, for water sports, caramel complexion.
For water sports? What in the hell did that mean? And that single initial in place of an actual name? Serial killer vibes. No, thank you.
Lenny, 6’2”, pretty fit Italian, excellent dinner companion, all occasions catered.
Alright. Okay. Now we’re talking. Tall, European, excellent dinner companion equals to good conversationalist, accommodating. Lenny goes on the list of possibilities.
Terry, 6’, my soft voice will arouse you, my strong hands will pleasure you,  let me show you how a woman should be treated, hourly/overnight rates.
Oh no no no. Major creep vibes from Terry. That ad alone had you reaching for another long swig of wine.
Joey, 5’8”, are you into champagne?, bodybuilder, will treat you like a queen.
“If you like piña coladas…” you sang in not even remotely the right key, topping off your drink
Josh, 5’9”, I can make you feel sexy and wanted. Fit, sensual, strong.
“Well!” you exclaimed drunkenly, almost spilling wine on your couch, “Tough beans, Josh! I don’t need a man to make me feel sexy and wanted!” you faltered a bit, your drunk mind still seeing the holes in your logic
“I just… Need a man to help me not look like a tragic spinster in front of my family and my ex...”
With that thought fresh in your mind, you reached for some more wine.
The ads went on and on as you scrolled through your phone, it was all a little overwhelming, how were you going to make sure you weren't hiring some psychopathic serial killing pervert to pose as your date to your sister's wedding?
The groan you let out bounced off the walls of your apartment. The reality of your situation was sinking in little by little.
Yes. You were hiring a male escort for your sister's wedding. It was your baby sister's wedding, by the way. You were a hundred percent aware that what you were doing was completely and utterly pathetic but you’ve already weighed the pros and cons in your head countless times.
Showing up alone: pitying looks, whispering behind your back, having to face ex by yourself, staggering levels of embarrassment.
Showing up with handsome -hired- date: mother can finally get off your back, date is more handsome than ex, ex will want to shrivel up and die, no one will know date is male escort except you and him.
Now, let’s break down some of the guests just for the sake of being thorough.
There’s your slightly overbearing mother (slightly meaning every call you have with her opens with the question: “how's your love life, dear?” or “I have the most amazing man to set you up with!”), all of her judgy eagle-eyed friends (mostly rich widows whose sons your mom shamelessly shoves your way), your extended family (some terrifyingly old school great aunts and uncles who will definitely ask if you’re married and smile sympathetically when you say you’re not), and last but certainly not the least, Jeffrey, your ex-fiancé (best man, but apparently not the best man for you, his words not yours).
"Lordy fuck." you exhaled hard, chugging your wine straight from the bottle
How on earth did you get here? Sitting alone in your apartment, working your way through your second bottle of wine (or third? Who was keeping count?), clicking on ads that spoke of "hot single males in your area" waiting to meet you.
Would it be fair to pin it all on the end of your engagement?
Picturing that moment, you decided that it was only fair. Those were five years of your life you would never get back, you were prepared to sign on for more but, yeah.
You were blindsided, that's the only way to describe it. All the while, you thought that you and Jeffrey were on the same page, at the same place in life. You were the golden couple, the couple that all the other couples wished they could be, when you two walked past, girlfriends would give their boyfriends a slap on the shoulder that meant, "Why can't we be more like them?"
It was so out of nowhere, one minute you were discussing wedding cake options over dinner, then suddenly you're putting the ring in his palm, completely in shock.
After that, you threw yourself into your work despite the fact that you were already a budding workaholic to begin with. That's how you ended up earning six figures a year.
Six figure salary, check. Doing pretty well in life all things considered, check.
But even with all that, there weren't any conversations over casseroles and cobblers about your many achievements. Nope, your mother and her friends would much rather discuss their worries that you would essentially, die alone.
Your little sister, Amy, getting married before you didn't exactly help to put a lid on all the chatter. And with Jeffrey being the best man? And you being maid of honour?
It was a disaster waiting to happen.
Maybe you could make up an excuse believable enough to get you off the hook so you wouldn’t have to go?
Were you really thinking about bailing on your little sister’s wedding? If she wasn’t taking cues from your mother, it would be the only one she ever had.
Not one of your finest moments as a sibling.
With the complications of your situation fully realised, you took to reading the ads with a little more effort. Luckily, you didn’t have to look for long.
Nick, 6’, male, tall, good looking, strong build. You will not be disappointed.
The ad was considerably less flashy than the others but you supposed that’s what drew you to it in the first place. It was understated, simple, and his ad wasn’t entirely made up of overcompensating flexing pics.
Mostly because he didn’t need them.
Call off the search, send the boys home. You had a winner here!
Staring up at you from your phone screen was the most handsome man you have ever seen in your life. Literally.
A mane of thick, artfully disheveled curly hair, eyes that were a light shade of blue that had a sort of dark intensity and intelligence that you could spend days trying to understand, and a smile. Oh, that smile was absolutely suckerpunching. It was odd though, something in your head was telling you that this man did not smile often.
You couldn’t tell if the warmth blooming in your chest and creeping towards your cheeks was from all the wine or from examining this prime specimen. Jeez Louise!
“Phew!” you fanned yourself upon stumbling on a photo of him crossing his arms in a tank top. Good God, you hoped he had a license for those guns!
You had to set your phone down for a minute to think things through although it seemed absolutely nuts that you had to think twice at all. It’s just that after the initial excitement and hormones wore off, it was becoming more and more evident that this man was too good to be true.
Just look at him! Were there actually men that looked like that? And why didn’t they live closer to you? A quick sweep of his profile placed him in Minneapolis.
What were the crime rates like there? And did they have a high rate of murders relating to escort services?
Before you could even google anything related to that, you stopped yourself. If you kept at this rate, you would never get anything done! Finally, after a methodical deliberation (aka ogling the pictures on his ad), you saved Nick’s contact number to your phone.
Aaand that’s as far as you’d go for the night. You could call him tomorrow when you weren’t a floundering drunk. It was like your mother always said, “Always be sober for a business transaction, but anything else calls for a cocktail.”
-------------------------
The following morning, you sat at your little breakfast nook, eggs still piping hot and untouched, and a hangover in full effect. You’ve been staring at the phone number for so long, you could say it in your sleep.
Come on, Y/N, the wedding is five freaking days away.
What if this guy was fully booked? You didn’t want to spend five days surrounded by family with Mr. my-soft-voice-will-arouse-you, did you?
You slammed your finger down on the call icon and stuck the phone to your ear. Your heart beat faster and faster with every ring and your palms became so slick with sweat that you almost dropped your phone a couple of times.
Maybe you should have taken your mother up on the multiple occasions that she wanted to set you up with someone. Alright, on second thought, you didn’t really want to be with someone who only looked good on paper but was actually an insufferable mama’s boy.
“Hello?” a male voice answered, catching you off-guard
Oh, God. Okay, you’re really doing this.
“Yes, hi! Hi. Uh, I’m looking for Nick!” you chirped, in a startled high pitched squeak you didn’t dare recognise as your own
The silence on the other end was starting to make you sweat behind the knees. It suddenly dawned on you that you didn’t mention any specifics.
“Uh, sorry! I got this number from the, uh, the ad. I’m looking for Nick?”
“Yes! Yes, that’s right, but Nick isn’t in right now. This is his manager.”
Was that a good sign? That a male escort had a manager? Did all male escorts have managers? You clearly didn’t know enough about this stuff.
“It’s a pleasure, Mister..?”
There was another beat of silence before the person on the other line answered, you tried your hardest not to overthink about what that could have meant.
“Foley! I’m Foley, Nick’s manager.” Mr. Foley’s voice returned to your ear, sounding much too bright for your liking.
Christ, what were you, a cop? To be honest, you were exhausted. Despite all the alcohol in your system last night, you barely got any sleep. You spent the rest of the night reading through some reviews of Nick’s service as an escort.
He had a glittering five star rating.
One woman hired him to pose as her husband at a high school reunion and by the end of the night, she ended up proposing to him. He respectfully declined and even bought her dinner afterwards.
That review alone was enough to convince you that you would be in good hands. So, it was time to buckle down, swallow the nerves, and handle your business like the adult you were.
“Mr. Foley,” you shook your hair out and put on your professional voice. “I’d like to book your client for five days, give or take. I need a plus one for a wedding. Is he available to leave on the-”
“Please hold. I’ll check his schedule.”
“Oh. But I didn’t mention when I-”
“He’s available. Would you prefer to pick him up at JFK or will he meet you at your place of residence?”
“Oh. Uh, I guess I could pick him up. Do I pay for his ticket or..?” you were feeling a teensy bit of whiplash at how fast this was all going
There was some rustling on the other line and the muffled sounds of bickering. You tried not to let that concern you.
“We’ll handle that, Ms. Y/L/N. We have your number, we’ll be in touch for further details. Good bye.”
The line went dead and you were left staring at your phone in confusion. Did you tell him your name?

soooo… since no one replied or messaged me with an all caps text saying “NO DON’T DO THAT!!!!!” and none of my ancestors have come down from the sky to make me stop, I’m gonna assume it’s okay for me to use whatever pics/gifs I need to as long as I make sure to credit the source in-post. cool? cool. moving on!
I’m gonna talk about Bravetown for a minute. I watched this for the first time when I was having a really bad day, and it quickly became my go-to comfort movie. Lucas does such a good job, and as a victim of abuse myself, I was able to connect with his character Josh in a way that I don’t often do. and the rest of the cast was absolutely amazing! looking at the limited tumblr content for Bravetown, I saw a lot of praise for Josh Duhamel? the actor that plays Alex? I’ll have to check out some more of his work sometime.
I do have to say, though, that I wish they’d done things a bit differently. this isn’t really the kind of movie to get a sequel or a tv show, so there’s a lot of stuff that was left unexplored. I agree wholeheartedly with @teamimprov’s post about it as well (I would link it but I have no earthly clue how, so sorry) – Josh did kind of end up seeming like a side character in his own movie. it started being more about Mary and her family’s problems than about Josh, and while I was glad to see Mary find some closure, it felt like it came at the expense of Josh’s development. and at the expense of further angst, which is a crime that cannot be forgiven. I thrive on angst.
things I loved:
that last counselling session when Alex and Josh talk about Martha. the acting in this scene is incredible, and I nearly cried the first four times I watched it. made me feel really sad for poor smol child Josh.
all of the patriots’ dance performances were!!! so good!!! and the remixes, all the music, fuckin bless.
the fuCKING JEANS. FUCKING BRAVETOWN FOR MAKING ME FEEL SO FUCKING EMOTIONAL OVER A FUCKING PAIR OF JEANS DAMMIT-
Josh and Tony’s friendship? the purest. adorable. amazing.
that scene where Angie squeals and hugs Josh makes my heart and soul do loopty-loops. first because of Angie being so damn cute (and the height difference!!!), then because when Josh walked in on Mary and Angie arguing he closed off and left, but Angie opened up to him and he gave her a soft lil smile and said he’d help and he got a hug and aghhhhhh they’re both such adorable babies-
“I sure would like to come and see you guys.”   “then come.”   !!!  just!!!
Alex and his genius ways of getting Josh to open up to him. the soccer and pizza to make the sessions feel less like a court-order and more like two people just hanging out, swearing and getting mad at the tv to get Josh to see him as just some weird dude, telling stories about himself to relate to Josh and make Josh feel less pressure. maybe I’m reading too much into it, but c’mon. we’ve seen this guy do serious and professional. he’s perfectly capable of doing serious and professional. but he doesn’t with Josh, and I think it’s not only intentional, but really considerate. and oh my holy hell, the “why would I be there for anybody else” conversation. agreeing and then talking Josh around himself to come to the conclusion that he’s not as selfish as he wants everybody to believe – an absolute Einstein move, good sir. hats off to you.
Tony. that is all.
Josh being so sweet and gentle with Annie – talking to her quietly, asking to see the photos, laughing and giving feedback. this boy thinks he’s tough shit. he’s a fluffy adorable puppy and he doesn’t fool me. I have so much to say about soft!Josh.
things I would’ve loved to see:
the dance team’s relationship with Josh outside of his music. something I noticed in the movie was that – other than Tony, Annie, and Michael – no one had a relationship with Josh that wasn’t founded on responsibility (Alex, Josh’s parents) or Josh’s music and what he could do for them (the dance team, his “friends” in NYC). that isn’t to say that they didn’t want a relationship with him, but it wasn’t really shown that they did except in the case of Jim and maybe Mary. I think that Josh and Angie would’ve been an especially good friendship.
more relationship development between Josh and Jim. Jim seemed to honestly want to have a good relationship with Josh, and the morning of the invitational, Josh seemed to be willing to try too. can I please just have the two of them doing father-son stuff? please?
Alex being a big brother/weird uncle figure to Josh. I beg thee.
that being said, it would be very, very nice to see someone other than Alex learning about Josh’s trauma and being supportive. Josh and Mary’s argument doesn’t count. at all. speaking of…
Mary was a little bit of a bitch to Josh for the majority of the movie, and Josh was the only one I saw say sorry for anything. granted, what he said sorry for wasn’t even his fault, and he definitely should’ve apologized for the parts he played in their arguments, but at least he seemed to actually be apologetic. it also only felt like he was the only one putting any effort into their relationship, so it’d be nice to see Mary seem interested in him outside of the dance competitions and the couple times she said she was glad he was there/didn’t want him to leave. and yes, I understand that she was going through a really rough time in a difficult situation, but that’s an explanation, not an excuse.
Mary and her family going to Robert’s grave. maybe with Alex and Josh, but at all would’ve been cool. I get that baby steps are a big thing with Annie, but Tony lost Robert too. that kid does not get enough appreciation or support, and he deserved closure alongside Mary and Alex at the tree.
obviously I understand that movies can only be so long and can only show so much. but that’s the downside to a great movie – people want more of it. the deleted scenes were great, too. extra canon, yes please. I’m fairly certain today was at least the fifteenth time I’ve watched Bravetown. first time I watched it was in December, and geez if that doesn’t seem like forever ago.

She’s Jealous - [c.h]
Tumblr media
word count: 2885 warnings: swearing summary: (y/n) reads some thirst tweets and gets a bit frustrated
(y/n) loved Calum, she always did and it’s likely that she always will.  Especially when she never plans to never act on these feelings.
So it felt unfair to her that she was getting so upset scrolling through Twitter.  Dozens upon dozens of fans thirsting over him.  The other boys too, but she only had narrowed eyes at the comments directed towards Calum.
“Whatcha lookin’ at?” Luke threw himself over the back of the sofa she was sat on, scooting close to her and looking onto her phone.
The first thing he saw being an all caps message about Ashton’s arms, and something about choking.
“Jesus love, into Ash now are we?” He chuckled, but (y/n) glared at him.  “Alright, not in the mood for funny” Luke muttered to himself.
“Have you seen all these?” She asked him in a quiet voice, eyes still trained on her phone as she scrolled.
“Thirst tweets? I look sometimes, some of them are kinda funny”
(y/n) simply hummed, clearly that wasn’t the answer she was looking for.
“What’s got you all worked up? I thought you’d be agreeing with some of ‘em” Luke jabbed (y/n’s) side with his elbow, and she tried to force a smile, but her nerves seeped through.
“Everyone’s just so… so into him,” She explained, and before she could keep reading, Luke took her phone, and closed the app.  “I feel like maybe it diminishes my chances even further”
“Your chances? Please, (y/n/n), you’ve got the biggest head start of all chances, it’s less of a chance more of a, eh, hundred percent guarantee”
The girl just rolled her eyes at Luke’s words.  He always tried to convince her of how he thought Calum returned her feelings, but she never felt that way.  He always seemed glued to their platonic relationship, so she never acted on the feelings she’d harbored for so long.
“I’m not kiddin’ babe,” Luke told her.  “Ya should hear what he says about you when you’re not around, he loves to talk about you”
(y/n) blushed, but she still shook her head and took her phone back from his hands.
“Thanks, Luke,” She sighed, and smoothed out her skirt before standing.  “Are you coming out tonight?”
“Yeah I’ll tag along,” He said and stood up with her, outstretching his arms.  (y/n) chuckled quietly, stepping into his arms and letting him hug her tight.  “Besides, I'm already all done up, can’t cancel now”
She was laughing when she pulled away, smiling to see he has in fact put on a shimmery eyeshadow to change up his usual leather jacket and jeans look.  Even going so far as to put on his heeled boots.
When she looked away, Calum was coming down the stairs, but he stopped at the bottom and just stared at her.  He looked frozen, lips parted, eyes set on her.  (y/n) crinkled her brows as though to silently ask if he was alright.
“Wow,” He mumbled, finally walking over to her and his best friend.  She still looked confused.  “You look amazin’ sunshine”
“Oh,” She chuckled nervously, ducking her head down and pushing her hair behind her ear.  Luke rolled his eyes and left the room, unable to handle all the pent up tension that had filled it.  “You had me worried there for a sec”
Calum grinned at her, this girl he’d had in his life now for a few years and couldn’t ever get a long enough look at.  She was blushing under his gaze, and it only made him smile more.
“You ready for dinner?” He asked, and she nodded, letting him guide her to the front door.
Luke was there waiting, looking at his phone and chuckling to himself.  Mike and Ashton were planning to meet them at the restaurant, and we’re probably already there.
“What’s so funny?” Calum asked, and Luke showed him he was on Twitter.
“These thirst tweets about you, they're hilarious”
Calum blinked in surprise, not having expected that response, at all, and looked to (y/n) with raised brows before back at Luke.
“Why...?”
“Cause she was lookin’ at ‘em earlier, and I wanted to know what the big deal was.  These are great!”
Calum looked at (y/n) again, a smirk on his lips to know that she’d read thirst tweets about him.  But before he could make a cocky comment, Luke spoke up again.
“(y/n/n) you’re in this one,” Luke snickered as he read one, and then proceeded to read it out loud.  “It’s a retweet of a pic of Calum, zoomed in on his thighs, and it says ‘@(your handle) sure is one lucky chick, i bet @CalumHood lets her ride his thighs whenever she wants’ can you believe that?”
If she hadn’t been blushing before, she certainly was now.
Luke was laughing his ass off, all the while (y/n) avoided looking directly at Calum, who was staring at her.
“Alright, on that note, let's get going,” Cal suggested, letting Luke out so he could walk with (y/n), his hand resting on the small of her back.  When she looked up at him, he leaned a bit closer.  “We’ll talk about why you were reading thirst tweets about me later” He told her quietly.
(y/n) winced.
Dinner went by well, besides the fact that Calum had his arm slung around the booth behind (y/n’s) shoulder, his fingertips grazing her shoulder every now and then.  But no one said anything about it.
“So, (y/n/n), you comin’ back to the house after dinner?” Ash asked.  She began to shake her head, but Calum spoke up for her.
“Yeah, we’re all gonna chill back at the house,” He said, his hand caressing softly over her shoulder now.  “Probably watch a movie or something if that sounds good to you guys?”
“Yeah that sounds great” Ashton agreed.
While the other boys proceeded out of the booth to head to the car, (y/n) shot Calum a look.
“What are you doing? I can’t hang out tonight, I have class in the morning, that’s why we did dinner instead-“
“That’s really too bad, love, because you and I need to have a bit of a talk, don’t we?”
She raised her brows at his bold comment, but didn’t argue with him again.  Simply followed next to him out of the restaurant.
She continued to stare at him, waiting for him to give her some sort of sign of what was going on in his head.  Clearly something had happened, but he wasn’t budging at all.  The only sliver of a sign he offered was pulling her in close to him when they got in the back of Luke’s car.  Which only made (y/n) more anxious for answers, because it was now obvious to Luke that something was up.
Ash and Mike were already at the house when Luke pulled in, and everyone went in together, deciding on drinks and just hanging out and chatting.  (y/n) didn’t understand why Calum needed her to stick around for this, but she wasn’t going to question him in front of everyone.
She was sat curled up on one end of the sofa, and surprisingly, it was Ashton next to her, not Calum.  And Luke on the other side of Ashton.
Calum was in his own seat in a recliner, sat upright and solid, completely isolated from the group.  Michael was also sat alone in a similar chair, but still made the effort to join in on the laughter and conversation.
At this point, (y/n) was not only confused, but a little pissed off.
She took a long swig of her beer, gave Calum a pointed look, and then excused herself to the kitchen for another drink.  Where she waited for him to show up just seconds later.
“You alright love?” He asked as he strolled into the kitchen, words sweet, but voice cocky.  (y/n) crossed her arms as she leaned back against the counter.
“What the hell is up with you? You drag me back here with the guys because you need to talk to me, and then ignore me, when you know I shouldn’t even be here in the first place-”
“Babe,” Calum cut off her irritated rambling, and she gawked a bit at the pet name, but before she could continue, he took a large stride forward, practically caging her in against the kitchen counter.  “Why are you so upset?” He asked, feigning concern as he leaned in even closer to her.  His lips brushed the shell of her ear as he spoke again, hands on either side of her on the counter, now actually keeping her their against him.  “Why are you so tense, angel?”
(y/n) pushed herself further back into the counter, trying to put some space between their bodies as their eyes met again.  There was a coy smirk on his lips, telling her he knew exactly what he was doing, messing with her like this.
“Was it all those tweets you were reading, babe?” He asked, and she liked her lips, suddenly they felt very dry.  Calum chuckled as he caught the action.  “I knew it”
“What do you think you’re doing?” She asked him breathlessly.
“Didn’t you want to have that talk now? That is why you wanted me to follow you in here isn’t it?” Calum asked, and the irritation in her eyes dissipated into something else he recognized all too well, just not so much on her.
Lust.
“Did all those thirst tweets from random girls make you a bit jealous baby?” He cooed, hands finding her hips and sliding just a bit under the hem of her shirt, just enough to run the rough pads of his fingers over her skin.  He cocked an eyebrow at her, telling her he was impatient for her answer.
“Maybe,” She murmured out, unable to find her voice due to his distracting touch.  “Just a little bit”
“Really?” Calum chuckled, letting one of his hands trail from her waist to cup just under her jaw, pulling her in closer.  He was leaning over considerably by reason of their height difference.  “I can tell when you lie (y/n), we’ve been friends for years” His ring clad fingers ran delicately down her throat.
When he leaned forward, her eyes fell shut, and a chill ran down her spine as his lips brushed over hers.  It almost seemed unintentional, but (y/n) knew full well that Calum was in absolute control of what he was doing.
“We should get back to our friends before they come looking for us” Calum practically muttered into her mouth, stepping back a bit to leave the room.
Before he could, her small hands grasped the collar of his leather jacket, pulling him back in against her and connecting their lips in a desperate and passionate kiss.  Like her life depended on it, she’d never thought twice about kissing him, she just knew that she needed to before he could leave.
Calum reacted immediately, kissing her back with fervor, his hands setting back on her hips so he could lift her up and set her on the counter.  Her skirt rode up a bit, but she didn’t have a care about it.  Their kiss broke for a moment as she readjusted to be comfortable, but he didn’t let her do much before tugging her right back into his chest, neck craning down to meet her lips again in a fiery kiss.  She tasted of alcohol and her strawberry chapstick and he was addicted to it upon contact, each kiss more desperate than the last, until she was panting against him in silent plea for more.
“Cal,” She murmured his name out softly as he hiked her legs up his hips, so that he could run his hands under her bare thighs and hold her securely against him.  He trailed a few kisses along her jaw, making her tilt her head back in bliss.
He pulled away, eyes flickering over her features and taking a moment to fully appreciate her in this state.  Her eyes were shut, long lashes casting small shadows over her cheekbones.  Lips swollen and pink because of him.  She looked like a piece of art like this.
(y/n’s) eyes opened when she realized he wasn’t about to kiss her again, and a blush settled on her cheeks as she found him staring at her.  She bit down on her bottom lip to keep from smiling too wide and looking like a dork.
“What?” She murmured after he’d just stared for long enough.  Calum shook his head, smiling one of his infamously happy grins, his eyes crinkling and his teeth on display as he looked at her.
“I just love you so damn much, I don’t know why you’d ever be jealous of a stranger, angel” He murmured, a hand cupping her cheek.  She wasn’t sure how he’d gone from irresistibly sexy to adorable and sweet in a matter of seconds, but it didn’t matter, because her heart was swelling beyond maximum capacity and the smile she’d tried to hold back broke free.
“You love me?” She asked, even though he’d said to her clear as day, she needed to know that her mind wasn’t playing tricks on her right now.
“Course I do sunshine, you’re my best girl, always have been” He said, shrugging his shoulder and cocking his head to the side.  (y/n) smiled at him, her hands finally releasing their death grip on his collar to take his face in her small palms, gently guiding him down to kiss his lips softly.  Gentle, and pure, and sweet.
She kept her forehead pressed against his, her hands still holding him close even as their lips parted.
“That’s how I should’ve kissed you the first time,” She whispered to him.  “After a date, all nervous like”
Calum chuckled softly, his hands taking her own and his lips brushing the back of them both before cupping her face in his hands, and kissing her sweetly, as she did him.
“I love you too,” She murmured between small kisses.  “I love you too” She repeated, their noses bumping a bit as their lips met again in a slightly more sloppy kiss.
“Hey where’s the- woah hey!”
Calum and (y/n) pulled apart upon hearing Michael’s surprised words from what he’d walked in on.  The bassist swiftly pulled down her skirt from where it had ridden up pretty high on her thighs, and gave his friend an awkward nod of acknowledgement.
“Guys! They finally did it!” Michael hollered into the living room.
(y/n) sighed, giving Calum a bashful and apologetic look before she slid off the counter she’d been sitting on.  Luke and Ashton came rushing in, one with his arms up in cheers, and the other staring wide eyed and gawking just at the close proximity of Calum and (y/n).
“It’s February, you guys owe me twenty, I guessed the closest!” Luke hollered at the other two.
“You bet on us?” (y/n) asked.
“Luke, you guessed January, it doesn’t count ‘cause it passed.  Ash wins, he guessed May” Michael ignored (y/n’s) comment, while fumbling for his wallet to pay Ashton.
“But I was closest,” Luke argued.  “Doesn’t matter if it happened past my guess, my guess was still closest-”
“Hold on, hold on,” Calum spoke up, taking the twenty dollar bill from Michael before Ashton, or Luke, could.  “You guys are not paying each other over (y/n) and I getting together”
“We’re together?” (y/n) asked softly from next to him.
“Course we are baby,” Calum winked over at her.  “If you’ll have me, but give me a moment,” He turned back to his friends, holding up the money.  “(y/n/n’s) got classes in the morning, so we are taking this, I’m taking her home, and we’re using your money to get her breakfast for the morning”
“Fine,” Luke muttered.  “Congratulations by the way, I knew you two would crack”
“Crack?” Calum muttered, but shook his head, deciding he didn’t want much more of an explanation.  “Okay, we’re gonna head out, ready?” He asked (y/n), who nodded and took his offered hand so he’d lead her out of the house.
“Don’t forget to carry the bride over the threshold!” Luke hollered before they could be out of earshot.
Calum turned to (y/n), squeezing her hand and kissing her temple.
“When’s your last class tomorrow?” He asked, and she thought for a moment.
“I should be finished up by two,” She answered.  “Why, you free?”
He giggled, actually giggled at her response, and nodded his head.
“I say we go on that date you were talking about earlier,” He suggested, opening the passenger door of the car for her.  She hummed and got in, Cal quickly closing the door and getting in on the driver’s side.  “Well? Am I taking you out tomorrow?” He asked, and she grinned, nodding and leaning over the center console to meet his lips in a kiss.
“You sure as hell are” She agreed, and Calum grinned before kissing her again.
They should have done this long ago.

I am the friend known as “H” from CancerChaser blog in Chapter 6
I am here to corroborate what my friend said and provide my side of the story of this situation. Walhartonsclub (WC) told me about CancerChaser (CC) back in 2016 after the first incident where CC was wiling out on WC because of what seemed to a misunderstanding of affording a phone. I initially told WC to ignore him because he was not worth shit or at least is what I initially thought. From there he kept me informed about what CC did throughout. Now to go into when i was first referenced in the chronicles about CancerChaser. From what I knew at the time, CC asked WC to send emails over and over from phone to his email. Have no idea why would he need WC to do that. He could have used something like Imgur. Given that CC had a phone that was not a smartphone based on what I was told, it would probably be impossible. Of course trying to make simple suggestions to him like this is enough to make CC go into a hair-triggering temper tantrum, so there is no use to try to convince him to upgrade. It was 2016, being up to date shouldn’t be too hard, you can even get refurbished smartphones for a fraction of full retail price. My parents have the latest phones and they are older than CC by decades. Why did CC chose WC instead of other friends for these favors is beyond me. So he asked and asked and asked WC to send him these pics over and over. WC complied with generosity. WC likes to please his friends. He has pleased me multiple times. He also tries to be the best person he can be. Needless to say CC took advantage of him.So when it came time for CC return the favor, he was resistant initially. When he finally did start playing, he did until after half of the game was over. The game was Spring Breeze from Kirby’s Super Star on Super NIntendo. Did you know that Spring Breeze is a remake of the original Kirby’s Dream Land on Game Boy with a missing level and boss? So CC did not even bother finishing such a short abridged game. That betrayal was just foul play on CC’s end.
Then CC would later use WC’s insecurities to gain him back and asked for more favors. WC then approached me on rethinking the situation. I initially thought that he probably did not like the game and was bored. I made the suggestion to pick a game that has much less interaction. Like some touch screen DS or 3DS game. WC brought up Warioware Twisted Touched!, so I thought would be a good choice there. My reasoning is that CC probably has no real interest in video games. I have heard that he has play Super Mario Bros. 3 growing up. Which makes me realize that CC is a very casual non-gamer person.
Reading the situation in question at Chapter 5 reveals that CC had been simply holding the controller where the direction pad in the upper right corner and seemingly pressed no buttons which means he was faking interest and had no intention at all to return the favor. He really should have said that he had no interest in playing video games. He was lying to manipulate WC. Which comes to no surprise that CC refused to play Warioware Twisted Touched! when asked. He cannot play easy games. He cannot play very simple games. But he would lie about having an interest only for him to evade that with excuses. With friends like these who needs bullies?
The next time I was involved was when WC was having his panic attack resulting from personal issues that are stated in Chapter 6. I have received certain pictures that hinted that he was contemplating suicide. Being under vacation time from my job, I decided to actually come see WC to check up on him myself. When I saw him, he was sitting on a couch. When he saw me he was excited to see me I asked if he took any of the pills or hurt himself, he told me that he gave himself more time to think about it. Perhaps to think about the people that love him.
He told me about the situation that led up to the panic attack. Best way to describe what was happening without revealing confidential information is that someone was very sick and emotions erupted. I had told him that he needs more time to hang out with friends. We not only did Spring Breeze in full, but also Meta Knight’s Revenge, Dyna Blade, and Great Cave Offensive as well. Games in that collection that are larger than Spring Breeze. We did not get to do Milky Way Wishes that day, but we did eventually got to do it at another time. We also played Brawl Brothers, all I remember is that there was a code to play the Japanese version and we did that and completed the game. It was short at 5 levels long. We also played Events in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. We did not clear all of the event, only some but we did have fun.
At Applebees we discussed the situation further. There I learned that he had sent the same pics to other friends as well which made me concerned. I thought that WC was going to get a wellness check on him or worse be committed to a mental ward for days. I only knew one recipient among the 7 besides myself (I never met CC in person). The person I knew is a mutual friend. The mutual friend never really got to see the messages, so he was unaware (it reached an old phone and when he got a new one, the messages were deleted). The mutual was relieved to know that WC was okay and felt better. And yes the mutual is informed of CC and his bullshit antics; I can confirm that he heavily resents CC, as I do.
So I had to get WC to do damage control to avoid being institutionalized. As information like this can scare people and be irrational. We needed for cooler heads to prevail. So WC told everyone that it was for attention. So WC can still run his panel at a upcoming convention and not be stuck that weekend in a mental hospital. He really needed to avoid the ruining of plans like that.
After all, my cousin once told me about the one time she told exactly one person that she felt suicidal because an aunt of hers  being diagnosed of cancer (from her dad’ side, I’m related through our moms being sisters). Telling her best friend was enough for the BF to call the ambulance and my cousin had to stay in a mental ward for 16 days!
CC’s response was very callous. As far as I know, he never asked what was going on around that time. He just stayed silent and only responded with that shitty “I knew it” bullshit when he received a fucking coverup. WC was crying for help and I answered the call. I live 2 hours away and this asshat lives minutes away in walking speed, yet gives radio silence to someone he calls himself a friend to, is mere blocks away, while I invest in gas and mileage to make sure WC is okay. Some friend CC is. For someone who claims to be “a good friend” in his hate mail; he sure shows no effort in even trying to check up on him. Real piece of scum CC is.
I later go to see the panel and I liked it. Which comes to no surprise in my perspective. The next day I played Streets of Rage 1 with WC. The only other thing I remember is that there was some dude I met who was in a wheelchair because he broke his foot days before.
Now for my thoughts about CancerChaser and his narcissism.
Walhartonsclub would later work for New York Comic-Con and buy the Super NES Classic. Which meant for the later part of September and early October he would be very busy. He also was seeking for connections, so there would not be any room for free time. CancerChaser did not give a shit about the adult responsibilities WC had to do. And despite CC being older than WC, CC would not take no for an answer and start guilt tripping WC. Having enough of CC’s scummy actions, WC finally cut ties. This was met with harassment and hatemail. Which truly shows CC’s irredeemable character in full form.
CC is a fucking disgrace to everything it means to being gay. If I was gay, I would rather live in a fucking fraternity of homophobic bullies that to ever have anything to do with CC. This old man never seemed to learn a single thing about accountability or responsibility. How dare does he interfere with a job? What gives him the right to call his target for the simple reason to give expletives to him? And his emails? Disgusting does not come close. Making empty threats to for law enforcement for intimidation and truly showing his true colors on how he uses people only to claim they are useless after the fact. And his latest unprovoked email where he makes more empty threats and more shitty insults is fucked up. I have heard that CC passed by a block away from WC’s home twice after 2017. That is obvious projection. CC’s knows WC’s location. Clearly CC is the stalker. Stalking close to his target’s home and then acts like he is the victim and being harassed is scummy behavior. I have never seen such a scummy person ever as far as stalkers and harassers go.
I honestly have no consideration for him as a human being. If he receives anything terrible short of death, it is karma. He deserves nothing but negativity and hate. This man is among the lowest of monsters. I have had to deal with people with psychosis several years ago, but this man is worse by the power of 10. There is bad people and there is EXTREME SCUM. CancerChaser is the latter. The only people worse than CancerChaser are child rapists, pedophiles, murderers, terrorists, abusive parents, and human traffickers. All those aside, CancerChaser is the worst kind of person out there. Fuck this man. Fuck him HARD!
And finally I got one thing to announce. I get the feeling that people do not really want to read long as fuck posts like this on tumblr. I am going to fix that. I am going to working on readings of the CancerChaser blog and post them on YouTube so people who don’t really care about reading essays can listen to the situation as well. Because we really to expose CancerChaser and let tons of people know who much inhumane scumbag CC truly is.

Or read below the cut
Bakugou’s never done this before. Sure, he’s done other things, and they’ve all been a lot of fun, but this is him stepping out of his comfort zone. He impatiently taps his fingers over the dark screen of his phone, hoping to master the courage to do it. With a sigh, he tries to reason with himself. It’s not too different from all the other stuff he’s done. It really isn’t.
It should be easier than it seems. He doesn’t even have to add a profile picture, and even if he wanted to, they aren’t allowed to show their face. So, it’s one less thing. But Bakugou likes his face. He thinks the sharp lines of his jaw and other features are what make him handsome. It certainly isn’t his personality what gets him laid, and he knows that. He’s not particularly good with words, or people. And it had never really mattered that much to him until he realised he was alone and that that’s how he was going to die if he didn’t at least make an effort.
So he’s gone down this rabbit hole of trying to meet new people through the internet. It’s harder not only because of his difficult personality, but because he’s looking for one person in particular.
It had been years ago, and Bakugou still can’t shake the memories of how happy that person had made him. He’d been shaped by him, all his preferences in men and in sex, they were all thanks to that boy he’d met. His first kiss, his first sexual encounter. His first beer under the stars, holding hands and groping under clothes. It had been the best time of his life.
He’d tried to find him again, but he couldn’t remember his name and he could barely remember his face. He’d discarded that useless information at the beginning, not knowing it was going to be crucial for him later on. He’d never been good with names, he hadn’t bothered trying to get close to people. That’s why that boy was special. He didn’t care about all those things, he just saw Bakugou as Bakugou, and liked him for who he was. And when the blond realised what he felt was love, it was too late. The boy was gone; they were far away from each other again.
And it was all Bakugou’s fault.
He searches for him wherever he goes, without noticing. Every smile that flashes makes him think of his; every person with red hair makes him do a double take. He doesn’t remember much else about the boy, except that he did have a pretty little scar over one eye, and the sharpest teeth Bakugou’s ever seen.
He’s tried to forget him, but the memory of him never fades. He’s tried everything to get over him, from alcohol to other people to bed, but nothing has worked.
When everything else failed, he tried looking for him online, but without a name it’s hard to get a result on the internet.
Bakugou’s almost given up. He wants to try other people until the taste of his first love leaves him forever. And he’s doing great on that front… except that he’s stood up six dates in the last month. He agreed to go out with them, but then he remembered they’re not him and he erased the app and bit the pillow to stop himself from screaming as tears rolled down his cheeks, a deep hatred for himself and his feelings in his chest.
This time he swears it’s different. There’s no face to face, it’s just sex. He can do sex. He can’t do dates or talking to people but taking his clothes off and letting others use him, that he actually enjoys.
But he’s still finding it hard to set up a profile. Maybe he’s afraid he’s going to do like he always does, and ditch another poor fellow that doesn’t deserve it. He tries to reason with himself that it’ll be fun and new. When that doesn’t work, he convinces himself to open the app by telling himself it’ll end in sex, and sex is a good motivator.
It’s called ‘The Glory Hole App’. Bakugou’s never tried a glory hole before, but he has watched a lot of porn about it. It’s always been something he wanted to try, something he’d always click on when he saw the thumbnail. Plus he likes the idea of anonymous sex. He wants to be abused by a faceless stranger. That way he can picture it’s his first love fucking him into the mattress and when he opens his eyes he doesn’t have to be disappointed to not see it’s someone else.
That’s why this app might be the thing for him.
He’s already downloaded the app and everything. He just has to click on it and set the profile up and look for someone who’d be keen to fuck him stupid. It shows you people in the same district as you and you can speak to them and arrange dates in the various different glory holes the country has.
When he finally manages to master up the courage to open the app, he’s a bit confused as to how it works. There are too many menus and options and pop-ups flashing up. It wants Bakugou to start setting up a profile so he does. He opts for a photo he took the other day to use as his profile pic. It doesn’t show his face but it’s him biting his shirt to pull it up enough to expose his abs and stomach. The viewer can also see his bed to one side, so it’s sort of inviting people in like that.
He lists his interests and ticks the right boxes, asking to only be paired up with men, and preferably tops. Immediately a notification with a few suggested people for him pops up, and he clicks on it, going over a large amount of penises he doesn’t think are tremendously impressive. Some of them have photos like his, exposed stomach and sculpted abs. One does catch his eye, however, and he decides to go to his gallery and look at more of his pictures.
The profile belongs to RedRiot, and by what Bakugou can see of the man, he’s very hot. ‘Likes: meat, tough guys and making you whimper 😉’ His description reads. Suppressing a snort, the blond decides to message him: ‘Hmm I doubt you’re really are up to par with that description of yours.’
He feels a bit giddy after hitting the enter button. He’s never felt like this while on the other dating apps, but then again, this one is different.
He really wants to be answered by this man, but a few minutes later he still hasn’t received a response. Feeling dejected, Bakugou drops his phone on his bed and starts doing the dishes he left soaking that morning.
An hour later he decides to pick his mobile up again, and he’s pleasantly surprised to see RedRiot’s answered him.
‘I really do like making guys like you whimper 😏’ The first message says. The next one, which pops up the moment Bakugou opens the chat reads: ‘Especially guys like you, who think they’re tough.’
“Fuck, who is this dude?” The blond laughs, licking his lower lip. “Who does he think he’s messing with?”
‘Like you could make me whimper.’ He texts back, proud of himself. A bubble with the word ‘writing’ appears next to RedRiot’s name and Bakugou’s tummy does a leap. A second later a little chirp forces his eyes to read the other’s message: ‘Why don’t we meet up so we can find out?’
‘Bold move’, Bakugou thinks, smirking as he quickly texts him back: ‘Tell me when.’
‘Whenever you’re free, baby. There’s one close to the station, if that works for you.’
Bakugou scoffs. ‘Friday afternoon?’
‘Working, could it be night?’
‘You’re on, big guy. You better not disappoint.’
Waiting until Friday is agonising. He continues to text RedRiot during the week, finding out things about the man. He learns that he’s a firefighter and that he has two big dogs named Red and Riot. He’s a fan of Crimson Riot, a TV series that was on when they were both kids. Getting to know him makes it feel less nervous. It’s not so much like he’s going to let a stranger fuck him, just a faceless acquaintance. An acquaintance that he’d actually like to meet.
As their date comes closer, they both sound more and more excited to meet each other and most of the blond’s worries dissipate.
‘I reserved booth #3, hope to see you ready 😉’ Bakugou wakes up on Friday morning to RedRiot’s message and he smirks, feeling his insides warm up.
Throughout the day the blond is nervous, finding himself making stupid mistakes he wouldn’t normally make. Sighing, he tries to concentrate, knowing fully well it’s just how nervous he is at the prospect of being fucked by a hot – and incredibly cute – man.
After dinner, he goes to his room to prepare himself for his big night. He’s giddy, biting his lips and trying to fight off an aroused smirk. Tracing a finger over the bottle of lube, he takes his trousers off and lies on his bed, ready to play with himself. He hopes the small pumps he gives his eager dick help relieve himself from the stress and nervousness of his blind date later that night.
Inhaling a deep breath, he throws his head back and closes his eyes, letting his left hand roam down to his arse. Giving a cheek a light squeeze that excites him, he proceeds to circle his rim with the digit. Groaning, he thrusts his hips up, trying to reach a rhythm he’s comfortable with as he teases himself with one hand while he fists his dick with the other.
He turns around to raise his bottom up, pressing his face against the pillow. Coating his finger in a considerable amount of lube, he inserts it inside of himself, suppressing a whimper by biting on the soft cushion.
Sparks of pleasure make his body tingle and he bites on the padding harder, closing his eyes and rutting against air, trying to feel the friction against his dick more. Feeling his toes curl, he quickly releases his leaking cock, knowing he only needs to tease himself, not cum over and over before the hunky stranger gets a chance to play with him.
He takes his time to prep himself well. He spends over half an hour stretching himself open, playing with his fingers and edging himself on as he looks at the pictures of his… well, he supposes it’s his date. He’s never been this excited about a date before, or about sex. He coats his hole in lube some more before putting a cute studded plug inside of himself. He then quickly gets dressed and ready, without worrying too much about his clothes and appearance since he’s not going to be seen by the other.
The ride to the place is nerve-wrecking. His stomach seems like it’s doing somersaults and he can’t stop his foot from tapping the floor impatiently. Bakugou keeps getting his phone out of his pocket to check the time and the place and also the app, to see if he has new messages from the stranger. He’s scared he’s going to get dumped or cancelled on. But the last message he received stays the same, and it’s RedRiot telling him how eager he is to wreck him. Looking at it makes him smile and blush, which he responds to by clicking his tongue.
He eventually gets to his stop and he steps off the train, looking around to see if he can see the place. He knows it won’t be publicly announced or anything, but maybe he can spot an indicator or something.
Since he’s lost he just uses his phone’s GPS to take him there. He reaches a pretty shady looking place, but the sign over it clearly says ‘Another Hole in the Wall.’ From the outside it looks like a bar, but there are numerous warnings over the tinted glass on the doors that only people over 18 can enter.
Once inside, he walks over to the counter where a bored man is playing on his phone. He barely looks up at Bakugou when the blond clears his throat and asks about his booth reservation.
He finally puts his mobile down and he turns to the computer. The sound of his mouse clicking is the only thing that can be heard until he starts speaking again. “Did you use the app to make an appointment?”
“Yeah.”
“Screen name, please.”
“King of Explodokills. Every word separated with an underscore.”
“Hmmm,” the man tries to stifle a snort. After a few more clicking sounds. “Is your partner RedRiot?”
“Yeah.”
“Are you the one receiving or giving?”
“Receiving.” Bakugou mutters, his eyes narrowing as he goes along with the other man’s choice of words. His gaze falls on the floor and he feels warmth in his cheeks.
“Have you ever done this before?” The man asks as he gets out of his chair and grabs a set of keys.
“No.” Bakugou answers, trying to appear calm. His heart is beating a mile a minute, and his palms are sweating, but he tries to hide this by wiping them discreetly against his trousers.
“Okay then, let’s go.”
Bakugou is led through a large corridor until they reach booth #3. He’s not only scared; he’s also excited. It’s something new and exhilarating, but not necessarily bad. He’ll see how he feels about it after getting fucked by the anonymous stranger.
The man smiles politely at him as he opens the door, turning the light on. He lets the blond enter first, and he’s faced with a table with black padding for him to lie on and a hole with flaps. The room is tiny and white , but the neon lighting it has makes it look violet and sky blue.
“I’ll explain how this goes. You lie down on this table and fit half your body through the hole. I’ll strap your legs in on the other side.”
“Okay.” The blond responds. It sounds easy enough.
“There’s a button under the table.” He crouches and shows it to Bakugou “It’s to call for help, whether you’re stuck, in pain, or being mistreated. Press it if you need to and someone will come to aid you.”
“Thanks.” He grunts, taking his shirt off.
“That’s all! Have fun!” The man waves goodbye as he open and closes the door, leaving Bakugou alone to his doom.
The blond’s not sure he will. His heart is thumping heavily inside of his chest as he undresses. He’s apprehensive and nervous, but he swallows hard and finally gets his underwear off. He sits on the padding, debating whether or not to take the plug out. He opts to leave it in and he lies down, shifting his body down slowly and inserting his legs through the hole. The flaps tickle his skin as they move along it and Bakugou lifts them up over his groin just as they go over his dick to protect it.
He’s finally feeling comfortable as he lies on the padding when suddenly he hears the door open and a familiar voice attracts his attention. “Hey, it’s me again.” The man from before says. “I’m going to strap you in, don’t freak out.”
He grabs Bakugou’s left leg and lifts it up. The blond feels cool leather being bound to his ankle. “Your partner’s at the door. He looks pretty excited. I told him you looked like you’d seen a ghost.”
“I did not!” He snarls back, his fists automatically clenching against the table.
“Sure.” He hoists up the other leg and straps him in. He tugs at his lower limbs to make sure they’re properly secured and then he claps his hands together. “Well, you’re all set here. I’ll get him to come in, then.”
Bakugou’s heart starts beating heavily again. He breathes in through his mouth to calm himself down, but it doesn’t seem to work. He’s bubbling with the need for something – he doesn’t know what – but he desperately wants to satisfy it.
He tries to relax and close his eyes, letting his head rest against the comfortable padding. He opens them again and looks at the ceiling as he waits, trying to find a pattern in the dirt stains on the white wall. He thinks about all the other people that have been there, just where he is right now, waiting or being fucked into the table, and that sort of makes him feel a little bit more at ease.
Suddenly he hears the door click open and he automatically tries to see who it is. He can’t, of course, since there’s a wall separating them. He did it on instinct since he feels very much vulnerable.
“Fuck that’s a nice arse.” A silky and smooth voice mutters. “Can’t wait to make a mess out of you.”
The blond’s first thought is ‘fuck, he sounds hot!’ as he tries to imagine what he looks like. He’s not very imaginative, though; he can’t even think of a face. A low chuckle forces him to concentrate on the man on the other side of the wall again. He hears a belt being unbuckled and his tummy contracts in excitement. Breathing irregularly and with his heart beating fast, he squirms impatiently in his seat.
“Oh, and you left the butt plug in, that’s a nice touch. I’m sorry, I’m going to have to remove this.”
“Yeah.” Bakugou whispers, his voice husky, tainted with lust. He nods as he says it, a small smile creeping up his face due to his excitement.
“You sound eager.” The man chuckles, and the blond feels warm hands against his cheeks. He nearly screams as nails drag over his skin. Instead he squirms against his restraints, the leather shackles rattling as his legs shake in them.
“Fuck, just seeing you like this makes me hard. And, oh, look at you! You really are keen!” The deep voice mutters, sounding aroused. The man presses a finger on the head of his dick, then quickly letting it go to watch it bounce up and down in its half-mast stage. Breathing through his nose, Bakugou clenches his teeth and waits for the stranger to fondle him in any way. It’s almost painful when the man’s fist circles his cock.
Gasping, the blond opens his eyes wide, a nice warm tingly sensation spreading from his groin to his heart. He spasms uncontrollably as the stranger plays with his cock and balls, one hand stroking his shaft from base to head and the other fondling his scrotum tenderly. A groan gets caught in his throat and Bakugou contracts his body in pleasure.
The blond feels himself grow as he’s teased. The stranger’s hands are like magic and he flutters his eyes closed, letting a deep sigh leave his mouth. The hand on his balls stops moving in a circular motion and leaves his body altogether. Bakugou’s pissed off about this, and he’s about to retort with a snarky comment when the man starts pumping his dick harder, making the other completely unable of using his mouth.
The stranger’s fingertips ghost over Bakugou’s rim and the blond almost bucks his hips against the table. They haven’t even started yet, why is he so excited and impatient?
The next thing he feels is the butt plug being slowly pulled out of his hole. He breathes in deeply as he fights the need to whimper. He clenches his teeth and tries to fight his legs shaking when the other man gropes at his exposed skin. The plug finally comes out with a sloppy plopping sound that resonates in his ears.
“Fuck, I want to be in you so bad…” The stranger mutters huskily, inserting one of his warm fingers inside of Bakugou’s lubed up hole. The blond inhales sharply, trying to arch his back against the table and the restraints, but finding it impossible to.
He hears a low chuckle behind him. “Why won’t you talk? I wanna hear your sweet voice.”
“Shut up and just fuck me already!” Bakugou snarls, trying to push his arse back against the hand.
The man howls in laughter. “Eager little thing you are, aren’t ya! I like it.”
But this time he takes the blond’s advice and shoves another finger in, twisting them upwards and bending them slightly.
“You did a good job.” The other purrs, moving his digits agilely. It nearly forces a moan out of Bakugou. “You stretched yourself out pretty well.”
The blond wants to snarl at him, but he can only muster up a small grunt as he feels the fingers spreading him apart. He closes his eyes and inhales sharply, a warm feeling travelling through his body.
“Oh, do you like this?” The man whispers, trying to insert another. This third digit squeezes in and makes Bakugou’s hole burn with want.
“You fucking arsehole!” The blond pants, struggling to inch his behind forward, trying to get the other to touch him more, like he needs, desperately.
“You really do have such a lovely arse.” The other mutters, ignoring him completely. He slowly takes his fingers out and Bakugou makes a strange noise, like an abandoned puppy. He aches to have those thick digits inside him again, spreading him further and igniting the fire of desire that he craves.
But the other man has decided he wants to play with him, and he trails his hands over his soft cheeks, humming to himself. It’s a song the blond thinks he recognises, but whatever part of his brain that was concentrating on remembering where he’d heard it before stops working when the stranger slaps him with his open palm.
Bakugou’s breath hitches in his throat and he throws his head back, a loud thumping noise resonating in the small room he’s in as it collides against the table. Tears spring to his eyes but he closes them to not let them wander down his cheeks. It’s not pain, it’s the desire to feel the other man, to taste him, to be wrecked by him.
He hears fumbling on the other side of the hole and then he’s smacked again. His cock bobs up and down, rocked by the spanking. Then another and another, and the blond has to close his eyes tightly and clench his teeth so the little noises begging to come out of him don’t betray him.
“Let your voice out already~!” The man whispers, his palm ghosting over Bakugou’s cheek. The blond’s breath hitches again because he can feel the warmth emanating from the other’s hand and it feels like the anticipation is going to kill him. “And I’ll give you what you want.”
His voice sounds so raw, so animalistic that it makes Bakugou’s dick even harder. He likes how dominant he’s being with him.
The man lowers his hand and rests it against the blond’s arse, giving the cheek a soft squeeze before it quickly disappears again. Surprised, Bakugou opens his eyes wide and lets out a little gasp. A few seconds later, he feels the palm slapping him with much more force than before and he thrusts his hips up, squirming against the restraints.
“Don’t pull too hard,” the voice on the other side chuckles “or you might just set yourself free by accident.”
“Not gonna happen.” Bakugou grunts.
“Mmhmm.” Is the only response he gets before he stops feeling the other’s hands on his skin. His tummy quivers in excitement, but a part of him is terrified, thinking he’s scared the stranger off.
Not even a few seconds later, he hears a weight drop. He feels breath against his lubed up rim, and a wet warmth crawls up his left arse cheek. A shiver goes down his spine and his toes curl in unexpected pleasure.
The mouth stops its adventure, pausing before it takes a large bite of Bakugou’s skin. The blond squeaks uncharacteristically, his hands balling into fists and hitting the table beneath him.
“Oh.” The stranger mutters, pulling his mouth and sharp teeth away from him. “That was interesting.”
“Fu-fucker!” Bakugou pants, closing his eyes in defeat. “Fuck you!”
“You’ve got a wide vocabulary.” The man chuckles, his voice lacking the sarcastic tone it should’ve had. He clears his throat. “Anyway, I should be the one fucking you.”
He pauses for a second before going in for a second bite.
“I swear I’ll-!”
“It’s just so much fun to play with you.” The stranger mutters, using one finger to trace Bakugou’s rim while his other hand gives a prompt slap to the possibly already bruised cheek.
Inserting his digit into the blond, he sinks his teeth into the other cheek, a bit harder this time.
“I drew blood.” He whispers, pulling away. “I’m sorry.”
Bakugou considers biting his tongue, but he huffs, letting his head roll on the table. “If you’re going to be doing it, do it properly.” He mutters, bashful.
“What? I’m sorry dude, I didn’t catch that.”
“I said,” Bakugou raises his voice, frowning as he forces himself to speak. “Don’t fucking apologise for marking me or whatever. I can take a little blood. Fuck… I kinda like it.”
“Oh!” He hears, followed by a small chuckle. “I see.”
The stranger bites closer to the taint, an area that is strangely even more sensitive for the restrained blond. His breath gets caught in his throat and saliva pools in his mouth. “Mmm!”
“Yeah, that’s more like it!” The other cheers, quickly removing the finger. Bakugou feels empty as the warm digit vanishes, but the sudden change in the stranger’s voice makes his tummy leap. “Are you ready?”
‘I’ve never been readier.’ He thinks to himself, feeling the stranger’s impressive girth fill him up. He’s not only big, but also thick, and it’s not an easy fit. He trembles as he hears the man groan, in either pleasure or exertion, but the sound is like music to his ears.
The blond draws in a long breath, clenching his teeth and shutting his eyes tightly.
“Mmmm, you’re tight. It feels good.” The man hums, and Bakugou couldn’t agree more. It feels like home.
The stranger doesn’t begin to move until he’s fully inside of him, his balls pressed against the back of Bakugou’s arse, but when he starts it draws out a long moan from the blond. He sets up a brutal pace, forcing the other to grab onto the table to secure himself.
The sweet gasps that spill from the stranger’s mouth make Bakugou’s stomach twist deliciously. He loves all the sounds the man inside him is making, from his grunts to his moans and he tries to fuck himself on his dick just to elicit more pleased noises from him.
“You’re doing so good, baby.” He whispers huskily, giving an especially hard thrust upwards. “Yeah, work those hips for me. Want me to cum inside you?”
The thought makes Bakugou whimper, and suddenly the man stops.
“What was that sound?” The stranger seems beyond pleased with himself, almost cocky.
“N-nothing.” Bakugou sounds hoarse when he speaks. He clears his throat before talking. “Hurry up, then, fuck me already.”
“Only if I get to hear that pleasant sound again. Will you whimper for me, baby?”
Now, the way this man says that last word almost makes the blond cum. It sounds so delicious and confident, yet caring and dominant. Bakugou wouldn’t mind hearing those words from that voice for the rest of his life.
“Make me!” He manages to retort, his voice gruff and strained.
The stranger chuckles behind him. “Gladly!” Not a second later, the thrusting begins again, harder and faster than before. Bakugou is being pounded into the table, and he loves it.
He honestly hadn’t expected to enjoy it this much.
The stranger angles his thrusts upwards and Bakugou throws his head back, groaning open mouthed as the man hits his sweet spot over and over with increased force. He mewls and whimpers, incoherently babbling about how good it feels. His mind is foggy, and his mouth is dry, his arms shaking as he takes the brunt of the thrusts. He tries to think of the boy he met all those years ago, feeling himself bordering an orgasm. He’s not quite there yet, he just needs a little push.
“Touch me!” Bakugou pleads, his legs shaking in their constraints as he tries to kick his way out.
“I can’t hear you!” The stranger sing-songs teasingly.
“I said fucking touch me already!” The blond snarls, sweat dripping down his forehead. “It’s agonising!”
A low growl comes from the other side of the wall and Bakugou’s tummy leaps in excitement. It’s followed by his own groan as he feels a hand falling to his forgotten dick, fingers wrapping tightly around it. A small yelp escapes him as the man combines a hard thrust with a quick wrist movement and the blond’s seeing stars, his good spot having been hit.
He’s mewling and whimpering with each slow movement the other makes. The stranger is purposely dragging out each thrust, gyrating his hips and angling them, aiming to make Bakugou cry. He’s doing a good job – the blond feels tears threatening to sprout from his eyes. There’s force behind each advance, which makes up for how slow he’s being with his plunges.
Bakugou aches with the need for release. He desperately paws at his bare chest, wishing to somehow alleviate the desire he feels. It’s not enough and he groans in agony, digging his nails into his skin to have something to grab onto as he feels a strong climax approaching.  Sparks ignite in his vision and the blond mewls, his hips rutting against the table, trying to increase the speed of his dick fucking his fist.
The stranger is relentless with his force and his thrusts, and Bakugou quickly finds himself nearing his peak, moans and whimpers unconsciously escaping from his mouth as tears begin to roll down his cheeks.
“Cum for me baby.” The stranger nearly shouts. His voice feels so close yet so far away and the blond has never longed to be facing anyone more in his life. Honestly, he just wants to be grabbed, held in place as he’s brutally pounded into oblivion. He wants his mouth on his, the other's hands to cup his face so that they can look into each other’s eyes. It feels like their souls are connected like this, that they’ve known each other for centuries. He can feel everything this man has to offer just by his thrusts alone. He doesn’t know what he looks like but he doesn’t care because this stranger is making him feel everything the boy he loves made him feel and Bakugou bursts into screams as he climaxes, tears in his eyes.
He gets lost in the pleasure and in the high just as the memories of his love invade his brain, igniting his soul as he lets his release take him away. He’s vaguely aware of the other man groaning, his voice slowly sounding higher before it peaks in a final drawn out moan, his dick growing slightly thicker before exploding inside of him.
Bakugou hears a thumping noise, which he presumes is the stranger's body slumping against the wall. He closes his eyes and lets his head fall back against the table, feeling spent. His breathing slowly becomes more regular. He moves his fingers, as if to feel them again.
He hears a low muffled voice, but doesn't understand what the man's saying.
There’s semen all over his stomach and his feet feel weird, like detached from his body. He’s not sure he can move, even if he loosened the restraints.
“Are you okay?” the man whispers, his voice soft and obviously worried. “Can I get you anything?”
“I…” Bakugou tries to catch his breath, scrambling to get up. His hands slip on the top full of his sweat and he curses lightly. “I’ve never been better.”
“Told you I could get you to whimper.” The stranger chuckles, but it sounds forced. After a slight pause, he asks: “Want me to unshackle you?”
Closing his eyes and smiling softly, he nods. “Yeah.”
The stranger undoes one leg, grabbing it tenderly and guiding it towards the padded table, so it can rest comfortably. He does the same with the other and Bakugou sighs, relieved. It feels good to stretch them again after being in that forced position for so long. He’s dying to get into a sitting position, but he feels like he can’t and he decides not to push his body.
“Want me to clean you…?”
“Nah, I’ll do that at home. You’re not going to do a good job here anyways.”
“I… your butt plug. Do you want me to put it in?”
“Could you?” Bakugou asks, his voice merely a whisper.
“I’m sorry for coming inside you.” The stranger coos lovingly. His voice is gentle and warm, like he's trying to sound soothing. The blond feels a finger carefully prodding at his hole before the now cold butt plug's pushed inside of him. It sends a shiver down his still tingly spine.
“It’s okay.”
“I… I should leave. I hope you enjoyed it. I know I sure did.”
‘It was amazing.’ The blond wants to stay, but instead just swallows hard. He hears fumbling on the other side of the hole and then footsteps. The door opens and closes and Bakugou finally hears nothing, except the loud sound of his heartbeat.
“Yeah.” He whispers to himself, seating himself on the slightly damp table. “It was unbelievably good.”
Slowly, he takes his legs out of the hole, wincing slightly at how stiff they are. He bends them over the table just to get them to move a bit before throwing his head back and sighing. Laughing, he lets the stress dissipate from his body. He’s so glad he went through with this and let that man wreck him. His body is sore but he hasn’t felt this good or happy in years. He smiles, looking at the now dark room on the other side of the hole, and suddenly, it clicks.
The song.
A memory of that night under the stars, a beer in between his thighs, where he put it to rest before leaning in to kiss the only person he’s ever loved.
The voice.
His voice.
Bakugou opens his eyes wide, a gasp escaping his parted lips. Frantically, he gets off of the table, only to fall onto the floor immediately. Swearing and snarling, he gets up, his legs still wobbly and weak from his orgasm.
He manages to push his body towards his clothes and he puts them on as fast as he can. As soon as he’s dressed, he grabs his phone and opens the app, clicking on the ‘recent chat’ button, but there’s nothing there.
 He’s gone.

The Goliath
"The ground trembled, I hid, lest of what's to come. Then I saw it, a massive hulking monstrosity, easily the size of three men. He walked with heavy hands, ready to smash anything that stood within his path. I could only hide in fear of what he could do once he saw me."
(Introducing: “The Goliath” A fanmade Killer for DBD)
Name: Ryker Sullevan
DLC: Unyielding Savagery
Gender: Male
Age: 36
Difficult: Intermediate
Height: Tall
Ethnicity: Canadian
Realm: The Arena (smaller map, I may describe this later)
Weapon: Spiked Cestus
Speed: 115%
Terror Radius: 32 meters
Lore: Born into poverty, Ryker was always has a short temper, the cold air did little to cool him down, as he was rough with other children during outdoor activities. His parents did what they could, but were forced to give him for public adoption in hopes he’d have a better than that what they could provide. He was adopted by a mature couple with a benevolent facade.
Unfortunately, his parents were less than kind and they took him out of the country to Nevada were his will was broken and taught little other than how to fight for himself
Eventually when he grew older, he was forced to fight in unruly matches against other people in unsavory locations and dirty cages. Bets were wagered and fights were bloody; Ryker knew only combat and self preservation, none were safe from his wrath.
He maintained a stockier build, and as he grew he became known as “The Goliath” by his fans and foes alike. Most of the time Fights weren’t lethal, as they were forced to stop by one means or another. As Ryker fought with all his might, his foe managed to draw blood and Ryker began bleed out fast, enraged and injured, The Goliath flew into a frenzy pinning his foe to the ground as he threw both fists onto his opponent, breaking most of his ribs then, shaking the aggressor violently, he picked him up and threw him onto the ground, killing him in the process.
Screams of terror unleashed from the audience, and Ryker quickly broke out of the cage, anyone he caught up to felt the full force of his fury, dodging bullets and taking several bullets to his torso, The Goliath still held, not many lived to tell the tale, as not many could speak of the laws they broke anyway.
Ryker knelt down, bloody and surrounded by corpses as spider-like appendages emerged from the walls, in stupor from blood loss, he was unable to register what was happening, but before he knew it, he wasn’t in the dimly lit arena anymore.
The Goliath is a massive behemoth of a man, slightly taller than the Trapper, with broad shoulders, and massive arms and legs covered in scars and bandages. The Goliath wears little aside his bandages, clothed in only a helmet and a belted loincloth (Reference Pic by Marvin Seo)

Using Tremors 3 times within 11 seconds will cause you to become hindered (10%) for 8 seconds, each use of Tremors during this time will refresh the duration. The Goliath will bellow as he uses Tremors.
The Goliath will hurl his arm in a forward arc while attacking. He will shake the blood off his cestus after a successful attack.

Introducing: Jessica Ambers
"As I worked one of the strange machines I had gotten so used to, I saw a woman being chased by one of those monsters. She raced around, only to throw a drop down with tremendous vigor, her strength alone was enough to disorient the monster for the time being, it was strange seeing someone with the audacity to take one of those things head on."

When High School started a few her friends convinced her to join the wrestling team, while Jessica was unsure, her friends decided to try it out with her. Jessica felt uneasy in the pointless combat, but sure enough, she ensued, and excelled in it. She didn’t have too much fun, but she was great at it, and that was important to her, and her team.
Senior year rolled by and Jessica was undefeated, she felt unstoppable, and could prove it in the arena. Unfortunately for her opponent, they were one to find out first hand, knocked unconscious, and put in a coma, Jessica couldn’t get over the guilt of what she had inflicted upon her opponent. Swearing off boxing and combat, Jessica decided to put all of her effort back into her academics.
Eventually when Jessica was older, she was at a night out with some close friends in Nevada. In the thick of the darkness, someone jumped them, in attempt to rob Jessica and her friends. Without thinking, Jessica charged in at the aggressor, pinning them to the ground, the brawl was messy, and Jessica broke a few ribs. Her friends rushed her to the hospital to heal.
A few nights in, several ambulances came wailing down the streets, talks about people with horrible injuries caused by a massive lunatic spread like wildfire in the hospital. Jessica soon fell asleep to the sounds of the ambulances.
Eventually She woke up out of the hospital, her injuries far less severe. Taking in her surroundings, she noticed a campfire not too far from her and felt compelled to walk toward it.

I really really hope they don't destroy swan believer tomorrow, but judging by the pics I should be prepared for the worst. I love SQ, and I'm one of those that also liked Neal and wished they had developed him better, but if we look at it, Neal died to protect the town, but mostly Henry, his thoughts before dying was for his son, so the rumours and now pics of tomorrow episode only show to me that Emma may be willing to leave Henry behind to have other children with hook.i can't even.
You know…  I feel like I want to articulate something before this episode airs because after it we will probably all have lost this moment of how we feel about it.
I am not a big fan of Emma Swan as a character.  I liked her potential in the first few years but I’ve felt since, really season 3 even before the rise of CS that they kept telling me she was things that they didn’t show me.  That she was a Savior yet the town seemed to be saved by everyone.  I hadn’t really seen her do anything particularly special beyond what any other character in the main cast had done at different times.  She wasn’t the one who defeated every villain or sacrificed for the town.  In fact the only time she herself sacrificed was the season 4 final and the season 6 final when she took the Darkness and when she walked into Gideon’s blade.  But see I could point out Rumple killing himself and his father in order to save his family.  Snow and David crushing his heart to cast the second curse and save a kingdom.  Regina undoing the curse in season three.  Even Zelena giving up her magic in order to stop the Black Fairy.  Self sacrifice, pain for the greater good… for those you love is in the fabric of the show and Emma wasn’t unique in this so I never felt like they told me why I should see her as a Savior capitol S.  And it was just made worse when you would have other characters literally attribute others actions to her (Snow and David suggest she defeated Cora and Anton … when Emma had nothing to do with one and wasn’t even in town for the second, and Hook says she defeated Pan and Zelena).  It’s literally a case of tell not show about how special and heroic Emma was when if they had stuck to telling me she was a hero and a good woman I would have not had this same feeling of unearned praise.
I think there is a similar feeling for me about Emma as Henry’s mother.  There are some really beautiful moments when I feel her as a mother coming through.  The season 1 final.  The fire escape in Manhattan.  The scene in early season 4 where she is talking to Henry and then talking to David about talking to Henry.   But for the most part I just don’t think they put a lot of effort into showing me Emma as mother.  But they did spend a lot of time telling me she was.  In my opinion they spent a lot more time investing in showing and devloping Regina and Henry’s relationship and just kind of expected Emma and Henry to be accepted as given.  Much like the labor of Savior.
I honest to god don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow.  The set is no where near as leaky this year as it has been in previous years.  We do know that Emma is pregnant not only because of the very obvious picture of her and Hook touching her belly but because a production assistant told several fans on set the first day JMo filmed that she was.  It’s been an open secret in the fandom since that was shot and I don’t know why I didn’t say it earlier.  Maybe because I’ve been slightly annoyed by the idea of the implication that this was the tip of the ice berg and that people knew more than that.  They don’t.  No one could see the scene shot.  Look at the stills.  It wasn’t a place they could have fans hanging out on the side lines.
So we’ve got a limited set of information and we have to piece things together but I think in the end there is really only two options broadly speaking:
She dies, is cursed, or something that writes her off for good.  Protecting Henry would be the obvious way to do this.
She leaves and goes back to Storybrooke to live out her life without ever being seen again.
What happens to or doesn’t happen to Hook is a secondary consideration to this.  And the thing is… the writers can write in all sorts of mcguffins or plot justifications to make her leaving okay.  She doesn’t know he’s in trouble (yet he called for help), she doesn’t know there is a curse coming, they’ve written this time flow thing to work this way so that if she stays she misses out on a child’s life, she’s pregnant (clearly not that far along since she’s not visibly so).  But the thing is that none of that has gravitas.  None of it means anything to anyone but shippers who want to write fan fic about cute baby princesses.  The audience has six years invested in Emma and Henry’s relationship.
It’s the ultimate test of show not tell for her character.
She’s either Henry’s mother or she’s not.  He is the story they’ve been telling.  Not some hypothetical baby we’ll never see and never be invested in.  Henry is the boy we saw grow up and we saw her have a relationship with.  Henry is the one whose life and family we’re now seeing in danger through the course of the season.  There is just no way to give a second child the emotional weight that he has to make a tough decision between him and this child carry any real narrative weight for anyone except a very small subset of people who are more invested in the idea of the child than the narrative of the story.
It’s not, as a particularly offensive post a few days ago from a part of the fandom suggested that people think her having a second child means she loves Henry less.  It’s about the integrity of the narrative they’ve been telling about a noble and heroic woman who fought for and built a relationship with her son walking away.  If they do that for any reason then they will have committed the show’s worst “tell not show” moment in telling me she was his mother of two true love kisses.
And why should I trust their narrative choices with other characters if they’re so ready to throw them away with Emma?

💖 UYU REVIEW: any cushion all day perfect / super slim proof liners / fix + fix primer / honey cera skincare trial kit from ETUDE HOUSE keep reading for the review!
I’m sure you guys know about Etude House if you’re into Korean beauty! They were one of the first brands I heard about once I got into K-beauty and they’re very well-known for having cute packaging and affordable products! They have a ‘princess’ aesthetic which shines through in their packaging especially - the product that got me hooked on Etude House was their Etoinette lipstick (that packaging!) from a few years back.
Today's post is more of a first impressions of these products! Last month I posted my review on the March Pink Bird box quite late and I didn't want to do it again since a lot of people have asked me about these new products since there's no reviews on them yet! Hopefully without my other review fluff like ingredients, etc. you'll still be able to learn a lot about these products. 💕
Disclaimer: These products were sent to me by Etude House for review and consideration. I am not being compensated for this review and opinions are always 100% honest.
The first product I want to talk about is the Fix and Fix Tone Up Primer. Colour correcting has been a big trend lately and Etude House released their colour correcting cushions not too long ago (I reviewed it back in January!)
The Fix and Fix primer is a more traditional colour correcting primer that comes in a tube. There are 3 'tone-up' primers in mint, lavendar and rose as well as a pore primer. I have the mint colour which is supposed to help with redness! These primers also have SPF33 and PA++ protection, which is nice when you don't want to wear proper sunscreen and still want some coverage. Here is a summary of the features:
Toning primer that colour corrects and helps make-up last longer
SPF33, PA++ sun protection + whitening + hides wrinkles
Smoothes skin and gives a perfect skin base
Rose corrects skin dullness
Mint corrects redness
Lavendar corrects yellowness
Another bonus is that this primer won the consumer’s choice award on Glowpick in February! Glowpick is one of Korea’s most popular beauty review sites so this is a big award~
The primer comes in a simple squeeze tube with a super shiny cap. The amount of product can be controlled easily~
I tried putting some on my hand and blending it out. Of course I don't have any redness on my hand but you can see that the primer doesn't appear visibly green once rubbed in properly.
I tried putting some red lipstick on my hand to see if the green would cover it. I think most of it is covered but you can still see a slight hint of red.
Since I don't really suffer from overall redness, I circled the red spots I have so you can keep an eye on them in the second pic 👀
In general, my redness was covered nicely (the little that I had, anyway) and the acne on my chin is quite well hidden in the after pic. The only thing is that my skin tone isn't very even, but that's not something that the primer claims to do so I won't knock it for that.
I've found that I like wearing this for light coverage on it's own and this is definitely something you could do if you have visible redness.
FIX + FIX TONE UP PRIMER (MINT) RATING: 4 / 5
💖 Pros: Covers medium redness, medium coverage, has UV protection 💔 Cons: Unsure if it actually helps with product adherence
This is a tentative rating because I can't really judge how good it is at actually covering redness which is the primary function. I'm also not sure if it really extends the length of the foundation I put on top... it didn't really have much of an effect in that area. I am pretty keen to try the 'pore' version of this primer though, since I do have more problems with my pores than I do with redness.

The Any Cushion All Day Perfect is a new addition to the Any Cushion line. This is their long-lasting cushion, similar to Innisfree's Longwear cushion. Here are the features:
High coverage cushion to cover imperfections
Smooth and lightweight application
Formula with the perfect blend of cover, adherence and tenacity.
Available in 6 shades (more details below)
SPF 50+ and PA+++ for UV protection
Tumblr media
Here's a graphic that I translated from Etude House's site, which shows the comparisons between this cushion and Etude House's other cushions (bigger version here, which is easier to read!)
Like I mentioned above, this cushion has 6 different shades to choose from.
The newest shade 'No. 17 Pure' is the lightest available and has a neutral undertone.
‘No. 19 Vanilla’ is the next lightest and has a pink undertone.
‘No. 21 Petal’ is the next lightest and also has a pink undertone.
‘No. 21 Beige’ is the same shade as Petal but with a yellow undertone.
‘No. 22 Sand’ is a little darker and has a neutral undertone.
‘No. 23 Tan’ is the darkest shade and also has a neutral undertone.
As with most Korean cushions, the neutral undertone tends to pull more gray. I myself prefer yellow undertones as I'm quite warm, but there's only one shade with a yellow undertone which is annoying.
I wish that as well as adding a lighter shade, Etude House would add shades beyond No. 23 because a ton of people can't try cushions due to their limited shade range.
This cushion design features alternating light and dark pink stripes.
I was thinking about the Etude House Dear My Glass Tinting Lips Talk that I reviewed recently, and I thought it'd be super cool to have a similar cushions system! Innisfree already has something similar with their cushions, but I think Etude House's cushion designs have the potential to be much cuter 😊
The thing I don't like about Etude House cushions is that they don't have a button to open it... maybe I'm petty but I feel like every other brand has them these days and I don't really like having to pry open the case.
It blended out nicely and the formula did feel a bit drier than most other cushions I have, on first impressions.
Another unique thing about this cushion is that the cushion puff that comes with it is different. It's thicker than Etude House's other cushions, and the top has a kind of leatherette feeling. I think it's supposed to apply product more densely for fuller covered, but I really didn't like using this puff at all. It was hard to use to blend out the product and it just made my face feel a bit cakey.
On first impressions: this cushion covered my acne quite well, it's still a little noticeable around my chin though. The acne on my forehead is mostly covered and my skintone is a bit more even too. I didn't notice much difference with my eyebags. The colour is a bit light for my skin right now, I would've preferred a darker shade! The undertone is also a little off since Vanilla is a pink undertone shade while I have yellow undertones and you can tell that my face is pinker than my neck.
Since this is a more 'long-lasting' formula, it's also quite matte. In the close-ups you can see that it really clings to acne scars and looks quite obvious up close. I did use a setting spray to go over the dry patches and try to make them a bit less obvious.
Over time, I found that the cushion was quite long-lasting. I wore it for about 8 hours and didn't notice any change in the wear, except where the dry patches originally were when I applied the cushion had started to look dry / patchy again.
ANY CUSHION ALL DAY PERFECT RATING: 4 / 5
💖 Pros: High coverage, good lasting power 💔 Cons: Limited shade range, quite drying
Overall, I liked the cushion but it does take a bit more effort for me to use since it clings to my dry patches. I would use it for a long day's outing or an evening event where I need more coverage, but it doesn't really feel lightweight and I don't like to wear heavy make-up on a daily basis.

I've noticed this that super slim eyeliners have been really trendy in Korean products lately. As well as Etude House, I've seen quite a few other brands release similar slim eyeliners.
Etude House has two kinds of their Super Slim liner, the Proof Brush Liner and the Proof Pencil Liner. They're both available in both black and brown.
They both feel like slim pens / markers and the name is in shiny letters.
Here are the tips of the liners. The brush liner is definitely a lot slimmer than the pencil liner.
Here's a comparison that I did with a standard liner to show you how 'slim' these liners are! I'm comparing the Super Slim Proof Brush Liner with the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner.
As you can see, the Stila liner is a bit thicker in the pen body, and the tip is a lot thicker than Etude House's.
I was able to create really thin lines with the brush liner, although it was hard to keep them steady. In the swatch, the brush liner also bled a little but I didn't notice this on the eyes. It's also not quite as dark as Stila's, although the Stila liner is well-known for being one of the darker liquid eyeliners.
It's much harder to get a super thin line with the pencil liner, which makes sense since the liner itself isn't as thin.
In general, I just found the pencil liner hard to use. The first time I used it, it dragged on my eye a lot, and I had to use so much pressure just to glide it along. I thought maybe the skin around my eye was just dry (since I've had that problem before, plus it's getting colder here so I'm using heating more)... but even after applying my usual eye creams it still took so much effort to use. This makes me a bit hesitant to use it since I don't want to drag the area around my eyes so much, it's super delicate. Since the liner isn't that thin, it's also hard to get a nice sharp wing if that's the kind of eye look you go for.
It's very easy to get a sharp wing with the brush liner though! I found it easy to get a precise line and sharp flick, although since the liner tip is quite thin, I kinda had to draw the outline and then fill it in slowly. Like a colouring book, but on my eyes.
If you like wearing super thick eyeliner, this brush liner probably wouldn't be the most ideal for you since you'll have to spend more time to fill in the line compared to a thicker tip. But if you just like to outline your eyes a little, or puppy liner, I think this liner would be really handy for you!
SUPER SLIM PROOF PENCIL LINER RATING: 3.5 / 5
💖 Pros: Very long-lasting (you'll definitely need oil cleanser to clean this off fully) 💔 Cons: Not smooth - drags on the eyes, hard to create wings
I do like to use this liner for soft, natural lines sometimes but I just don't like to use it because I literally have to drag it across my lid to deposit the colour. The only thing I really like about it is that it doesn't budge at all, even if I have to wipe my eyes with a tissue.

Etude House Global: $7.80 (free shipping over $50)

Tester Korea: ₩6,750 / $6.25 (shipping by weight)
W2Beauty: $6.50 (free shipping over $60)
SUPER SLIM PROOF BRUSH LINER RATING: 4.5 / 5
💖 Pros: Easy to create thin lines, easy to create winged liner, generally pigmented 💔 Cons: Not as black as some other liners, harder to create thick lines
I really preferred the brush liner over the pencil liner since it was a lot less harsh on my eyes in general. It's a bit easier to remove, but it doesn't smudge throughout the day typically. If you're looking for an easy to use liquid eyeliner (and you don't wear your eyeliner too thick), I'd recommend this brush liner!

This month I've got some more skincare to review, like the Soon Jung line that I reviewed last month! The Honey Cera line isn't actually that new to Etude House but I'm happy to give some thoughts on it anyway 😍
This trial kit includes mini versions of the toner, emulsion, cream and eye serum from the Honey Cera line.
The Honey Cera Toner has a watery consistency like most toners, but it's milky in colour. I don't really like reviewing toners because personally... I don't really notice that much in difference with them. Usually for me, it's either moisturising or it's not. This one did feel moisturising for me... but nothing really beyond that.
The Honey Cera Emulsion is actually a really nice consistency. It's hard to describe in text but it wasn't too heavy and the scent wasn't too overpowering like the Skinfood Peach Sake Emulsion I've tried before. It sinks in quite easily and makes my skin feel super smooth and soft.
I'm not sure if I'm going to add a emulsion into my routine but if I did, I would want something similar to this. I haven't really used it long enough to give a definitive rating but I'll give it a 4 / 5 because it's been working well for me so far.
The Cream is quite thick and feels quite occlusive on the skin. I like using these kinds of heavy creams as a sleeping pack to help lock in the other products from the night routine. I've also been using this on my dry patches like around my nose to help keep those parts moisturised. Overall, I'd give it 3.5 / 5 since it does work as a cream, it's a good moisturiser but I didn't notice anything too amazing.
I reallyyyy love the texture of the Priming Eye Serum. It's very light but makes everything I spread it on so nice and silky. It's an eye serum but I end up putting it around my nose and chin too. I actually don't need any kinds of eye creams right now, I just use a normal cream, and I'm a little hesitant to buy this because the full size is quite pricey. However, it works well, so I’ll give it 5 / 5 💓
You can find these products here on Etude House Global:
Honey Cera Toner
Honey Cera Emulsion
Honey Cera Cream
Honey Cera Priming Eye Serum
Thank you for reading my review today! I hope that this has been helpful for you and I hope that you have a lovely day too❣

tbh burr walking into work rockin heels for a dare he DOES NOT stumble he just works it. everyone's staring, the girls are actually so confused why he can walk so well, the Rev squad has taken over 100 pics each. Washington can't deny he is hella rocking the heels  -anon via @badromantics
Here’s a 2.6k fic because what else am I doing with my life. The rest is under the readmore.
“It's impossible,” Lafayette huffed under his breath. Aaron spared a look from over his book- everyone in his friends group were strict enforcers of the “no work while visiting” rule.
“What's impossible?” Aaron asked- probably not a great question to ask, but he was bored.
Lafayette frowned and pulled up something red and strappy. Stiletto-heeled, ankle strap shoes dangled from his fingers. “It looks amazing on me, I know it! But I can not walk on them for the life of me! It is utterly impossible.”
Aaron gave the shoes a contemplative stare. “It's not impossible. But if you've never worn heels, they could be difficult; I'll give you that. Start with kitten heels, perhaps, or go for wedges and platforms. They have a wider base, so they're easier to balance on.”
Lafayette stared back, a confused squint on his face. “Little Burr, how do you know so much about heels?”
Aaron didn't bother taking the bait. He wasn't ashamed of what he knew, but he did deserve some secrets. “I just do. If you want to jump straight to stilettos, you can, it's just going to take a little effort.”
“A little?” Lafayette threw a hand to his chest. “I have been trying, and I have been failing! I bet you couldn't take a single step!”
This drew an unconscious smirk from Aaron's lips. If only they knew. “You're right. I couldn't in those, they're far too big for me.” Even if Aaron couldn't tell just from looking, if they fit Lafayette, they most certainly did not fit Aaron.
Lafayette crossed his arms. Aaron recognized a glint of challenge in his eyes. He knew where this was going. “Alright. I bet you could not spend an entire day in similar heels in your size without falling once, or taking them off.”
It wasn't great for one's feet to wear stilettos all day, but Aaron could do it if he wanted to. The question was whether he wanted to. “I don't do bets just for the sake of betting.” Aaron's intent lay in the air, silent but clear. What was Lafayette willing to put on the line?
“Alright. You're bluffing.” Lafayette frowned, his forehead creasing in concentration. Then, with a sudden grin, Lafayette spoke. “The loser of the bet has to do the others' bidding for a week!”
Aaron wasn't bluffing, of course, but there was no point in telling Lafayette that. Plus, the stakes were... interesting. “Is that a work week, or the full 7 days?”
“7 days. Next Sunday, to the following Sunday. Are you in?”
Aaron pretended to give the question a long, careful consideration. His mind was already made up, but there was little sense now in tipping Lafayette off about his miscalculation.
“Alright. I'm in.” Aaron kept his face blank. He shook Lafayette's proffered hand, sealing the deal.
Lafayette's grin turned to a predatory smirk. “The bet starts tomorrow morning and does not end until midnight. I hope you like bowing and fetching drinks.”
Aaron resisted the urge to roll his eyes. “We'll see where we land, won't we?”
Lafayette wouldn't know what hit him.
-
Lafayette was waiting at Aaron's door come morning, phone out and ready in one hand and two coffees with a paper tray in the other.
“I feel like waiting by my door might be a little much,” Aaron raised an eyebrow. “And is that recording? Do I need to invest in a restraining order?”
Lafayette shrugged, incapable of his usual dismissive hand wave, hands full as they were. “A week of servitude is on the line, little Burr. I'm going to check you aren't cheating.”
Aaron did roll his eyes at this. “Well,” he gestured down at himself. “Does this look like cheating to you?” Aaron barely avoided striking a pose, however slight. He had to admit he was proud of his choice. Four inch, needle-thin closed toe stilettos, in a shiny black the exact shade of his usual work dress-pants. They were a classic in the formal work place, made interesting with a rich red underside.
“Little Burr, you have yet to take your first step.” Lafayette shifted his phone, aiming it more squarely in Aaron's direction.
Well, he wasn't wrong. Aaron straightened his back, squared his shoulders, and walked. Lafayette gaped as Aaron smoothly strode towards and then past him. “I assume one of those are mine?” He paused to gesture at the drinks. “A bit rude to stalk me with a camera, otherwise.”
Lafayette jumped, finally moving. He swung to Aaron, actually needing to catch up with a short jog. “Wha- how did you-!?”
Aaron grinned. It wasn't often that Lafayette looked so completely flabbergasted. On his fine features, the expression was almost adorable. “You shouldn't make bets without full knowledge of what you're betting about.” He taunted, just to rub it in.
“Hey,” Lafayette drew out the note, accusatory. “What are your secrets, little Burr?”
“They wouldn't be secrets if I told you,” Aaron countered. “Now pass me one of those coffees.”
-
Aaron thought Lafayette's reaction was dramatic, but it was nothing compared to coming to work. He should have, perhaps, seen it coming. Dramatics were an every day occurrence at Washington and Associates; today was no different.
Alexander was the first to greet them, outside the office. He had clearly been told about the bet, not that the forewarning stopped him from gaping like his jaw had been dislocated. It was a little amusing, but by now Aaron was more concerned about getting to work.
He took a long sip of coffee and strode past Alexander in his best, slightly swaggering walk. “You'll catch flies like that, Alexander.” Aaron's hand was on the door by the time Alexander managed to speak.
“Wh- you can wear heels? What the fuck, Aaron?”
Aaron turned back, brows raised. “Does that bother you? Because if it does, you can fuck off...” Aaron trailed off. Alexander was blushing, cherry red from nose to cheeks to ears. “Uh,” Aaron faltered, taken aback. He had just been having fun- and now he felt a little bad. Aaron didn't think he could have that kind of effect outside the stage, without even trying. Maybe good heels had a bigger effect on one's look than he thought.
“Buh,” Alexander stuttered; and then snapped from his stupour at Lafayette's giggle. “Shut up! I'm just not used- you're taller than me now, okay?!” If anything, his blush deepened- but the spell was broken, leaving Alexander huffy and embarrassed. Not an unusual state, for him. Aaron pushed through the door.
Walking into the office was also an adventure, somehow. Jefferson trailed off, mid conversation with Madison, both of their eyes bugging out impressively. Lee choked on a mouthful of coffee, hacking until he turned purple. Eliza somehow gained sparkles in her eyes, face overtaken by an ecstatic smile.
“Those shoes look amazing on you!” She skipped over. “I didn't know you liked heels, Aaron! You have great style, why don't you wear them more often?”
Aaron didn't bother hiding a pleased smile. Eliza was a joy to talk to, no matter the subject. “It's part of a bet, actually. I don't like drawing attention, you know.”
“Well, you've certainly done that today.” Eliza shot the surrounding room of silenced people an appreciative look. “So I guess you have a point. That's a shame, you look fantastic in them.”
“Ah, thanks-” Aaron was cut off by a firm, deep cough.
Washington was out of his office. “I came to see what the silence was about,” He explained himself. Washington scanned the room, quickly landing on Aaron. He sighed, “I don't even want to know.”
With a sharp turn, Washington strode back to his office. Aaron could barely hear the quiet whisper: “I don't deserve this”, before the door slammed shut. Aaron could sympathize.
The presence of the boss, however brief, was enough to push people back to their own business. Actually having to work did wonders on settling things down. Aaron felt lingering stares, and of course Jefferson tried to make a comment- but Madison pulled him away. Aaron made sure to pass Madison a thankful nod.
Of course, come lunch time, things got weird again.
“Let's go out to lunch, little Burr. It's not much of a bet if you sit in your desk all day!” Lafayette jutted a hip out, leaning against Aaron's desk like he belonged there. Aaron carefully watched the stack of files scant millimeters from Lafayette's side, just waiting for the slightest movement to send them scattering to the floor.
“Sounds like something you should have thought of before you set the terms.” A smirk found its way onto Aaron's lips.
Lafayette mirrored the smirk, somehow making it twice as flirty and three times as mischievous. “Little Burr, are you afraid of a challenge?”
The argument was basic and very, very weak. Regardless, Aaron wouldn't mind a nice lunch. “Only if you pay.”
“Deal!” Lafayette chirped, holding out a hand. Aaron took it, expecting a shake. He was hauled to his feet instead, nearly losing his balance. “Oh, should you perhaps be a bit less confident? That stumble was nearly a fall.” Lafayette's smile turned shit-eating.
“You pulled me, doesn't count.” Aaron shot back. Lafayette hummed, tone light and non-committing. Aaron ignored it.
Lafayette sauntered out with Aaron beside him, apparently well over the shock from earlier. He still peeked over at Aaron several times though, seemingly disappointed at Aaron's easy gait, keeping up with him.
Alexander was at the door, because of course he was. He took a quick glance at Aaron's legs, then up at his face- and wow, he did have to crane slightly, Aaron really was taller than him- then fervently away, an embarrassed look on his face. It was an interesting form of power. Aaron tried not to think about it.
It was entirely unsurprising when Laurens and Hercules were found already waiting for them at the diner. Expecting it by now, Aaron let them have their moment. Laurens whistled, loud and impressed; Hercules made a strange squealing sound. They both whipped their phones out.
“It's like you've never seen a man in heels.” Aaron threw a hand against his hip, unimpressed by the day's spectacle. “We better sit down and order soon, lunch break only lasts so long.”
“Oh no,” Alexander, at some point, had found his words. “Washington gave the 'i don't want to know' complaint. As far as he's concerned, today is a write off as long as the work actually gets done. But let's go in anyways, I'm starving.” Alexander threw the doors open.
“You know,” Laurens shot Aaron an up-down, appreciative look. “It's not that none of us have seen men in heels. You just make them look real good.” Aaron faltered at the compliment. He felt surprisingly warm.
“Yeah! You've really got the figure for it, and the posture, of course. How is your posture so good, man?” Hercules grinned, slapping Aaron on the back. He felt himself grow warmer.
“Uh, practice,” Aaron admitted, on the slight side of flustered. Everyone froze, even Hamilton, still holding the door open. “Never mind,” Aaron followed quickly, knowing it was too late.
“Practice, little Burr? Practice where, doing what? I'd like to see whatever it is you practice that requires high heels!” Lafayette shot Aaron a fluttery wink.
“Alright, enough, let's go get lunch or I'm heading back to the office.” Aaron stalked to the door, almost shoving Alexander.
Somehow, they were seated. “Hey Burr, you secretly a stripper?” Laurens stage whispered from the other side of the booth.
Aaron considered the question, and then considered what technically true statements he could make. He was a lawyer, after all. “I'm not,” He said.
“Damn.” Laurens crossed his arms.
“Runway model?” Hercules ventured. “Because if you are, I'd model you any day! Hell, even if you aren't, I'd model you. You look so much more... sophisticated, like this. Not that your normal stance is bad, but you just hold yourself differently.
Aaron felt a creeping little smile. It was a cute compliment. “No I'm not, and no thank you.”
“I'll discover your secrets yet, little Burr,” Lafayette warned, leaning conspiratorially towards Aaron. The only response Aaron could dignify that with was a short eye roll.
Lunch was surprisingly quick. “It's not worth the effort of demanding those pictures don't get posted everywhere  online, is it?” Aaron tried to peer over at Lafayette's phone. They all had them out, and were damn lucky Aaron didn't mind all that much.
“You know us too well,” Laurens responded with a grin. Alexander and Hercules shrugged. Lafayette shook his head, drawing his phone towards his chest and away from Aaron's sight.
They walked back to the office. “Are you sure you aren't even a little strained?” Lafayette's voice was almost a whine.
“I'm sure,” Aaron chuckled. “Why, nervous yet?”
“Of course not,” Lafayette scoffed. To his credit, he did seem confident. Aaron had no idea how he still was, given Aaron's obvious comfort in the stilettos from the get go. “You'll slip up sometime, all I have to do is be there to see it.”
“There's only half a day of work left, and I've certainly not had any trouble yet” Aaron reminded.
“So there is.” Lafayette did not seem worried in the least.
The reason why was revealed as soon as Aaron shouldered his jacket, lost in thought over what to do, now that work was out and the weekend officially started. Lafayette was waiting by his desk again. Aaron sighed. “Please don't tell me you intend to follow me home and watch me until midnight?”
“That would be a lie,” Lafayette admitted. His lips turned up, clearly pleased with himself.
And thus, the day went. Lafayette tried to challenge Aaron several times. A set of jumping jacks. A set of one-foot hops. Warm-up stretching poses. Aaron humoured him, balance far too good to be threatened by something so juvenile.
There was one thing Aaron's balance wasn't too good for, though. Lafayette challenged him to do a series of squats. Aaron had no problem with that. What he did have a problem with, however, was the firm push Lafayette threw into Aaron's shoulder in the middle of said squat. Completely unexpected and with more than a little force, Aaron toppled onto his back.
“Well, well, well, looks like I won the bet after all.” Lafayette's grin stretched ear to ear.
“That doesn't count, I didn't lose my balance from the shoes, you just pushed me!” Aaron snapped. Honestly, the things these guys tried to pull.
“Ah, but those weren't the terms, were they?” Lafayette made a mocking 'tsk' sound, and Aaron paused. He knew where this was going, shit. “The bet was, you can not take the heels off until midnight, and you can not fall.  All forms of you falling must be valid, as we did not specify what causes of you falling did or did not count.”
“Yeah, but you and I both know what you meant. You're just twisting.”
Lafayette crossed his arms smugly. “Perhaps, perhaps not. Which argument do you think would stand, if taken to court?” God, Aaron hated having lawyer friends. Even though he was one, too.
“It wouldn't ever go to court,” Aaron's protest was token at this point. As annoying as it was, Lafayette did out-smart him. He couldn't help but be impressed.
“Maybe not, but it will go to be judged by our good friends Alexander, Laurens, and Hercules. Who do you think they will side with, in this?”
Aaron sighed. They both knew the answer. “You are a dirty, ridiculous cheater.”
“Yes, but a dirty, ridiculous cheater who won. Remember, the week starts on Sunday.” Lafayette pretended to consider his next words. “Addressing me solely as Monsieur, or sir, will do fine. I'll make sure to have the maid dress sent to you before then.”
Aaron froze, disbelieving. “Maid dress?”
“Of course! And now that I know you can handle them, I know just the perfect shoes to match.” Lafayette sighed, a dream-like, pleased sound. Aaron had the distinct feeling that the next week would not be very fun for him.
This was why Aaron didn't do bets.

Top 10 Mistakes You Make on Your LinkedIn Profile That Turn Prospects Away
Posted by Ryan Farrell in LinkedIn Blog Series, LinkedIn Case Studies, LinkedIn Insights, LinkedIn Marketing Strategies
If you’ve paid attention to the marketing gurus out there nowadays, you’ve likely heard that LinkedIn is THE #1 place for Small Businesses to generate leads and increase their overall revenue.
Before you can start generating leads, to get real return for your time and effort on LinkedIn, you MUST optimize your LinkedIn profile first.
This is so important, because you want to make sure that when your prospects are in the market for the service or products that you provide, you are guaranteed to jump to the top of their search results – and their minds.
In other words, you want to them to see you as THE best option on the market and a good place to start is to avoid these top 10 LinkedIn Profile Mistakes:
LinkedIn Profile Picture
Try to avoid pictures like these…
Mistake #1: Not having a Linkedin profile picture
First things first, you want to make sure you have a photo of yourself on your profile page. Profiles with pictures are 21X more likely to be viewed over those without a profile pic. So if you don’t have a pic you are missing out on a considerable amount of traffic from your top prospects.
Why?
It helps build your credibility and people want to connect with and do business with other people…people they know, like and trust. So choose a photograph that shows someone they would want to do business with.
Mistake #2: Having an unprofessional profile picture.
Having a bad profile pic is better than having none at all…but not by much.  You want to make sure your picture won’t either scare people off or diminish your credibility. So if your picture consists of a selfie, duck lips, a bathroom mirror, a beer, you looking like a serial killer, or a cheesy power pose, get a new one. ASAP.
You don’t need a professional photoshoot. All you need is a clean, CLEAR headshot of yourself smiling looking friendly.
And speaking of clear….
Mistake #3: Having a blurry or pixelated photo.
You want to make sure your profile picture isn’t too small, too big, too blurry and / or pixelated.
The ideal LinkedIn profile picture size is 400 x 400 pixels.
However, you can upload a larger picture as long as it’s square, no larger than 8MB in file size, and does not exceed 20,000 pixels.
Your image doesn't have to be perfectly cropped – LinkedIn allows you to select the area that you want to use.
Just make sure your photo is high resolution and large enough to fill the entire space that LinkedIn gives you. Each pixel should be treated as a priceless piece of real estate.
LinkedIn Headline
Mistake # 4: Using the Default Headline
Your LinkedIn headline is one of the most important parts of your LinkedIn profile and one of the first things a prospect will see. You want this to make a good impression. It should be attention-grabbing and compelling enough to make someone look at your profile and/or accept your connection request.
Most people use their job title and company name for their headline–which is LinkedIn’s default setting. But that tells you nothing about what makes you different and you will look like just another Marketing Director or CEO. Include the benefits of your service or the RESULTS you bring your customers, rather than just a dry job title.
Mistake #5 : Having an overly salesy headline
Now I know we just discussed not using LinkedIn’s default headline, but, if you’re going to  highlight what you do in the Headline…you gotta make sure you are doing it the right way.
Which means not being overly cheesy or sales-y. These headlines should focus on your prospects and how you can help them. It should NOT focus on you.
Here are a few tips to making your headline more impactful and less cheesy:
Speak to your differentiators. What makes you different or unique?  Why should somebody do business with you over a competitor?
Call out your target audience and how you can help them.
Be as specific and concise as possible – you only get 120 characters.
For example, Luda’s headline starts with her title and company name – “Founder, Clickwhipt.”
And then she tells who she helps and what result they can expect. So in her case, she says. “I help attorneys and Law Firms Generate Daily Qualified Phone Calls and Office Consultations.”
LinkedIn Profile Summary
Mistake #6: Not having a summary section
I get it. Writing doesn’t come naturally to some of us. But foregoing a LinkedIn summary is a costly mistake.
The summary section is the place to share your story with your prospects in 2,000 characters or less. In a friendly tone, explain a bit more about the return your product or service provides, tell a story and don’t just have a bunch of bullet points listing your services.  Spice it up. Maybe even use a case study or testimonial if you can.
Like Frank Demming did…
Here, you can see he added a compelling testimonial showing how his services gave his client excellent results!
Just remember, you don't want  be too salesy or come off sounding like a resume.
Speaking of resume….
Mistake #7: Writing your profile like a resume
Resumes are typically come off as a bit stiff and formal. Which is exactly what we DON’T want to come off as to our prospects. Remember we want to appear friendly and credible.
The first step is to sell them on your industry. Tell a story that gets to the heart of your prospect's pain points. Your explanation of your prospect’s pain points need to be so dead-on, they wonder, “Did you read my diary?”
Then, sell them on why just any [INDUSTRY] professional won't do…they must have you! So, explain how and why you're the solution to all of these pain points or problems.
And just a note…
The experience section after your summary is where people often get in “resume mode.” It should be filled out completely because outside of the headline, this is one of the most read sections of a profile. BUT… your emphasis needs to be on your current role, the product or service you sell, who you help, and the results you help them achieve.
Which means you need to be sure to include a sentence or a bullet point or two explaining how any previous role prepared you for the company or service you are currently promoting.
Also, you want to make sure you break copy up in easy to read, digestible chunks. Large blocks of text are not easy on the eyes.
Mistake 8: Keyword Stuffing
Sure, we want to include key phrases that speak to our prospects. But you want to avoid stuffing your summary and headline full of keywords in an effort to be found or you risk coming off as a spammy robot.
After all, this is a “social” network, and people want to connect and do business with the PEOPLE who they know, like, and trust. They aren’t interested in connecting with keyword-stuffing machines.
Mistake #9: Not including an CTA
Whether you want people to call, email, or attend your upcoming webinar, provide them a clear and obvious call-to-action. Don’t overdo it with 15 different things you want these prospects to do. Stick with one clear CTA that will be most enticing to your ideal prospects.
Now you want to keep things simple and focused on the next stage in the relationship with your prospect. To keep things loose and friendly, we recommend  something like “I'd love to connect with you here on LinkedIn. If there's anything I can help you with please, feel free to reach out to me: [Email] and/or [Phone].”
Another client, Matt Jones does a great job at this…
As you can see, he directly states what to do next and how to contact him without making an offer like “Click here for 20% off your first month’s consulting program.” That type of call-to-action is too forward. At this point we want to give them options to further progress our relationship here on LinkedIn.
You may not be able to italicize, highlight, or bold, but you can use unicode symbols to call out your CTA.
WARNING: Be careful not to overdo it with the unicode. Too many symbols are distracting and you will end up looking unprofessional.
Just copy and paste one or two of these into your profile, but don’t overdo it.

Mistake #10: Writing in third person.
You don't address yourself in the third person in everyday conversation – and if you do you should stop ASAP – so, why would you write your profile in third person?
Don’t be one of those people. Trust me on this.
What About The Next Steps?
The next steps will have to come down to you.
