i love how Math People™ all collectively lack basic comprehension and communication skills and yet understand each other perfectly:

#oops forgot to post this #btw all of my friends and a majority of my teachers are ''math people'' #so lemme explain what a math person is #it's not when you're good/excel at maths. i'm also good at maths. #no a math person is someone whose whole academic success revolves around math and looks down at social sciences/lit/language etc. #an average math person claims that those classes are 'too boring' and 'too much memorizing' and says they'd excel at them if they studied #but we all know that isn't true don't we? as you've made 3 grammar mistakes and misused 5 words while saying these #they're ''boring'' and ''just memorizing things'' because you don't get them. #they're ''simple if u study but i dont bc i don't like them. they aren't important anyway'' bc u need an excuse for ur inadequate knowledge #also let me give you a secret: (speaking for our ed system) math is the subject that requires the most memorizing #you can't excel at math unless you CONSTANTLY solve questions + what do u do with formulas exactly? do u go through its proof everytime? #what they're doing is literally memorizing question types so they can solve them faster. mind you given enough time Anyone can solve them #the thing that makes them excel at math is their speed which is experience = basically memorizing questions or muscle memory at this point #plus i know it's nothing to brag about but i don't study regularly for anything and yet the only classes i get bad grades are math and chem #and i think it speaks enough for itself (bUt whAt abOuT cHEm? it used to be my fav then i didnt understand mole & now im horrible at it ok? #anyway this was a looong rant but i've spent 3 years among these people who looked down at me bc of my math grades #and bc i'm actually good at & enjoy 'unimportant classes'. yeah. they're Like That. idk who raised them. #''ur math grades are low and you're good at social sciences why don't u like be a [insert 'unimportant job' here]'' #(unimportant job: any job that's not doctor or engineer) #like i'm totally fine with those jobs and some of them are right i WOULD make a good psychologist or lawyer or whatever #what makes me mad is that they look down to those jobs and basically tell me that i couldn't pull off being a doctor or engineer #''so just... you know... i think you should consider these jobs. u don't like math anyway right? u wouldnt like engineering'' #lets get one thing straight: i like math itself. i dont like Math Class (&i hate the education sytem overall but thats another conversation #ok i'm done finally. but am i wrong to rant this much???
