I keep thinking of Dash being impressed or straight up horrified by Danny’s knowledge of space. Here’s an example;

Dash: You know what’s better than space? Time travel!

Danny: Technically, we’ve already made a step towards that. When you look at the stars, you’re looking at it possibly 20 years ago, most likely longer. Since light still travels at a certain speed, and there’s a massive distance between us and those stars, we’re basically looking at the past. Even when you look at our own sun, you’re looking at it 9 or 10 minutes ago!

Dash: That’s... actually really cool. Wait, so if aliens were real, and they looked at us, would they not see us as we are now?

Danny: Hypothetically, no. They’d probably see the dinosaurs if they’re far away enough.

Dash: I don’t know what “hypo-whatever-you-said” means, but cool!

Danny: Yeah! It’s pretty crazy how half the time you’re stargazing, you’re basically looking at a bunch of corpses! *walks away*
