#you guys just want a reason to hate on yang and bumbleby

Violence ask 6?
You guys gotta specify a fandom or I'm gonna give you a million answers.
6) which ship fans are the most annoying?
RWBY: Bumbleby fans are so fucking annoying that they're probably 40% of the reason I'm considering not shipping it anymore. Black Sun fans are also annoying and far more delusional but there are fewer of them and they mostly keep to themselves at this point. The Jaune harem people are also fucking obnoxious, like I'm not even opposed to a Jaune + girls polycule if it's written competently and with respect to all characters and relationships involved instead of just a bunch of women brainlessly thirsting over one man who doesn't even bear any resemblance his actual canon characterization beyond the physical appearance, but that's never what we get. Ever. I don't even have a problem with horny wish fulfillment shit existing, but that doesn't mean I want to see someone else's.
Bee shippers take the cake though because there are more of them, they never shut the fuck up, and many of them are violently opposed to the idea of anyone shipping either Blake or Yang with someone else (especially if that someone else happens to be male) and there's also significant overlap between the worst of the Bee shippers and the people who think anyone who thinks the show is less than perfect deserves to be tried in The Hague
Arknights: I don't really have a good one here because honestly most of the Arknights shippers aren't that bad. There aren't really any shipping wars that I'm aware of, nor do people try super hard to push their ships on everyone else. I guess I'll pick Nearl + Platinum and Blemishine + Platinum shippers because I specifically hate both of those ships with a fiery passion and people keep putting them on my dash, but this is really only because I feel like I have to pick something here. Like yeah there are some outliers but generally most of the Arknights community is pretty willing to just kinda live and let live when it comes to shipping.
For the Fate series it's gotta be the people who argue over which mediocre protagonist the infinitely-better female characters belong to. I already wanted to drown Emiya Shirou like a wet rat, but every time I see some dumbass on reddit who thinks Saber needs to keep herself pure for him argue with some idiot who thinks Guda deserves ALL THE WOMEN the urge intensifies, to say nothing of the arguments over whether Tamamo is allowed to fall in love with anyone besides that guy from Fate Extra
I remember the era of the Bleach/Naruto/InuYasha ship wars...

one thing I have always hated in rwby fndm is how some ofmale characters get unreasonable hate that I know wouldnt have happened if they were female. like sun for getting in the way of bb ( I am also pissed for I have seen people try to claim they were forcing it on them in v3 going they have plenty of possible same sex ships which comes off as them complaining that blake is teased with a guy rather then anything being forced and makes the claim that people are calling bb forced because its a same sex ship come off as projection since it seems to me if sun andyangs genders were swapped they would have shipped blacksun and go queerbaiting in response to bb being teased starting arguably in v7 ( at best it can be said that the v6 finale hinted but there wasnt anything inherently romantic) I feel like if you ship something based off the genders/race involved its a shallow reason even if its a same sex ship with the fact that there arent many shows with a mc in a same sex ship ( I have always annoyed by how people in the past tried to go white rose and bb shouldbe a thing because arkos and renora were hinted at which amounts to since team jnpr girls ended up paired up with their male partner team rwbys partner duos should end up teased together which is bad logic (not to mention by that logic that means one of team rwby should die) just because something happened with team jnpr doesnt mean the same has to happen with rwby
Sorry, but I don't agree with a lot of this!
Yang/Blake has been hinted since very early on. I have said before that I do think CRWBY wrote themselves into a corner by setting up both Blacksun and Bumbleby, and they screwed up because of it. I think Blacksun shippers have the right to feel baited, because they were, and that's not good writing. But since Blacksun and Bumbleby were heavily teased... queerbaiting isn't any better writing? I do think Blacksun shippers have the right to be mad, but I also think they should wonder why they expected Bumbleby would have been the one baited instead.
But, I also think there is no other way to understand Yang asking Blake to the dance (nothing about that dance for anyone was platonic!), the loss of the arm where Adam--a former love interest of Blake's--literally uses a universally well-known stereotypical abuser line "I'm going to take away everything you love" and targets Yang. The coding is an ex-boyfriend threatening a potential future love interest. Saying it's just that Adam saw Yang as family is just factually wrong; Adam knew where her family lived, he could have targeted them if that was the concern. It's not about "well what if;" it's about why the writers included such a line and used such framing. Plus, the deliberate imagery mimics chemical wedding illustrations, so there's no way that was intended platonically. Furthermore... Yang and Blake's specific flaws, their pining for each other specifically during volumes 4 and 5... if they switched the genders, I actually think far more people would have picked up on Bumbleby.
I also think that the complaint about people only shipping it because they want a canon lesbian ship is to some degree lacking in empathy. LGBT+ people do not have the luxury of a ton of content out there depicting relationships for them. Why is it wrong to want to see representation? I don't think it is shallow to want this. The opposite, in fact.
However, I also want quality writing, and the baiting of Blacksun wasn't awesome (my guess is they baited Blacksun because they weren't sure what they were going to be able to show--which again, illustrates my earlier point that we need more representation of LGBT+ people). But the set up itself of Yang and Blake's romance is decently done, and the themes explored/character development Bumbleby offers is significant. RWBY is a richer story for it. (Sun, though I love him, is significantly less complex.)
Finally: I do think you made a very true point at the start of this, before you got into stuff I don't agree with: the RWBY fandom is indeed the Twilight Zones where the male characters are held to unreasonable standards and/or dismissed in importance (in every other fandom it's the women held to different standards). Namely, Jaune, who along with Oscar is as important as Team RWBY--and this is directly stated in the guidebook, and Mercury, who is in canon everything fanon!Cinder is--he's the wooby character. The hatred Jaune in particular has received over the Penny incident is... irritating at best and offensive at worst.

“What is with the Blake / Yang hate this week? Folks seem particularly fired up.” I asked this question on a forum because of something I’ve noticed the last few days on discussions about Blake and Yang/Bumbleby/shipping in general. I keep seeing the same answers.  “It ruins the team’s dynamic.”
Welp, I’m pretty certain none of those people would say that Raven/Tai and Tai/Summer ruined the team’s dynamic. Or that Ren and Nora are currently  ruining the team’s dynamic.  What is this holy than thou crusading to protect the sanctity of the team dynamic? Rwby has always been first and foremost about interpersonal relationships. It’s what drives the actual plot. Character growth, failing relationships/friendships. How they change over time, either to grow or crumble.
“It’s being shoehorned in, for fanwank.” How? How is it being shoehorned in? Give me a narrative breakdown as to where/how/when this occurs? Compare it to the Sun/Blake narrative and show me the glaring differences between the Yang/Blake narrative to prove that bumbleby was never planned yet blacksun was?  (Sidenote. Anyone that has been asked to do this on the forum has yet to do it.)
“Yang showed interest in boys.”“ Yes, yes she passed comment once. In vol 1 episode 1. 8 VOLUMES AGO. She has shown not a lick of interest in guys since. Its almost as if she’s like any normal 17 year old girl who is growing into adulthood and figuring herself out, who might be realising her interest in Blake isn’t strictly platonic and is trying to navigate that whilst also grappling with what that means with regards to their friendship. And dealing with an over arching situation that is, ya know, potentially the end of the world as they know it.  It’s about two years in universe, right? Which is about right of an amount of time for what its happening between them to play out. It only feels like longer to the audience because, well, its taken 8/9 years to tell the story up until that point.
“The Fans are too loud/vocal/come on too strong.” Ok, this one I agree with, we are loud and vocal and that might come across as coming on strong  (here’s a huge) BUT, there is actually a genuine explanation for why it seems that way.   If you really think about it, objectively.
Hear me out.  Fans are excited about the potential representation we don't otherwise usually get in media. I mean, if you have 10,000 pieces of media and only ONE of them represents lgbtq people, of course we’re gonna be excited and talk about the ONE quite a bit with others who are like us. This might also be the first time we’ve seen anything like this, or seen ourselves represented in a somewhat positive light. It stands to reason that the other 9999 pieces aren't going to hold our attention as much, esp if its the same hetero romance played out a bajillion times before, right? I mean, if you have a group of people who are constantly represented in the 9999 other shows, their voices are going to spread thinner, right? They aren’t going to be gathered all on one place, talking about the same thing because there are 9999 other choices to connect them to other people. They aren’t going to care as much if their straight ship happens/doesnt happen
“Hey, I can move onto another piece of media that is churned out by the status quo. No big deal.”
Hetero romances are ten a penny. Flick through netflix, hulu, crunchy roll etc.  Where as if you have a group of people who are only represented in ONE show out of the 10,000 those people are going to gather in one place to connect with others and its only going to seem like they are louder due to the densely packed space.  These same people have been majority silent about the other 9999 pieces of media as their voice isn't usually represented in a positive light - being queer characters are usually brutally murdered or sidelined. (Thankyou Hays Code.)- or not even represented at all. (Bury Your Gays is a trope for a reason, folks.) And we are NEVER the titular characters. We’ve been living on crumbs and subtext for decades! Not to mention showrunners who actively queerbait the hell out of us for ratings and viewership. The almighty Pink Pound as its often referred to in business. “But why do they have to make them gay?” You’re not made gay, you’re born gay. It just takes longer for some people to realise than others. It can be a gradual realisation. And this is quite possibly the case with Yang/Blake, slowly coming to realise their own burgeoning sexualities and attraction to each other.
”Why do they have to be gay?” They don't need a reason to be queer! They just are! Queerness is only a part of a person, not their everything. It’s actually quite refreshing to see Yang/Blake being portrayed as much more than their potential sexuality.  Ask yourself, ‘Why does a character have to be straight? And why doesn’t a straight character have to constantly reaffirm their sexuality? Why is ‘straightness’ assumed by default?’ Heteronormativity, is something that has been perpetuated by decades of media. (helped by the Hays Code with its out of date moral code. To be other is to be punished within the narrative.) That straight is the default setting. It’s not! We exist! Everywhere! We always have and we are going to talk to each other about it when we see a glimpse of ourselves represented in what has been a relative Sahara Desert when it comes to queer content were we are not villainised.   “The romance is detracting from the plot.” Two seconds ago, people were claiming that the romance was none existent. Which is it? But Nora and Ren’s romance that is being held up as a mirror to bumbleby is fine? That Jaune relentlessly pursuing Weiss was perfectly ok. Neptune openly hitting on female characters is fine.
“I don’t have a problem with LGBT. I just don’t want it forced down my throat.” Again, out of 10,000 pieces of media, this is just ONE show. Nobody is forcing anyone to watch it or participate.  Queer people have had to stomach literal 100′s of years of straight media forced upon them. Since the very conception of the written word and narrative storytelling. In plays, theatre, art, music, tv, film, on billboards, advertising, in places of education and learning etc etc. Queer people are bombarded with it whilst also being surrounded by negativity towards queerness.
“They are shoving it down my throat!” part two Is hand holding, compassion and expressing concern for another person and comforting them somehow offensive? Renora kissed, not a problem. Arkos kissed, not a problem. Show me in the sand where the line is drawn. What is the difference? Please explain this to me? Why is the expression of queerness somehow offensive? Is this because decades of media have perpetuated the false idea that all queer people are sex crazed perverts? That you’ve been groomed into thinking that queer sexuality is only based in the act of sex itself? That queer sexuality couldn’t possibly be similar to heterosexuality in its expression?
That it couldn’t possibly be about attraction, emotional, mental and maybe one day blossom into physical between two consenting adults, a pure expression of love the exact same as heterosexuality.
That some how queer love stems from some sort of deviancy or mental health issue. That queer people are some how bad or evil, and therefore their expression of affection is wrong? Oh, I wonder where those beliefs have possibly stemmed from?  “Why are they in my face?” part three.  50% of of the titular cast are potentially queer. Blake and Yang. But if you look at the overall cast ensemble that runs at minimum 16 any given volume, that’s a measly 12.5% (prolly a lot smaller if you actually counted the whole cast that appears in rotation each volume) Also, someone did the math. Blake - a titular character- actually has less spoken lines that Jaune. ffs. B&Y spent neatly a whole two volumes of 8 apart. 25% of the narrative as it stands on entirely different continents.
I fail to see how it being in someone’s face could be the case.
  “I just don't see it!”
That’s ok and perfectly valid But listen when people who have lived this experience are telling you that their experience is being portrayed on the screen. That they see themselves being represented.  OK, This completely got away from me. In conclusion. They are more straight people than queer people and media often reflects that.   We are usually the silent minority, we are sick of it but we are used to it and we are very excited that things seem to be finally changing.
It’s two characters in an large cast in ONE show out of 10,000. Its a piece of media that, for a change, hasn’t been 100% curated for straight people.  We are often not allowed to play in the sand box and if we are, we’re told to play with the broken toys, be grateful and quiet. So when we are given a sandbox to play in with new unbroken toys, we are gonna dog pile in there and make a ruckas, calling our friends over. What I’m trying to say is, it’s gonna get rowdy.  and here’s something to think about.  “When you are used to privilege, equality feels like deprivation.”

bumbleby was a forced ship I have seen people claim that calling bb forced is somehow homophobic or claiming that we wouldnt say that if bb was a het ship
( which ignores how a good number of blacksun shippers or people saying bb was forced are members of the lgbt community and ship other same sex ships  in rwby show or out like narusasu ( another series)  and freezerburn ( in rwby)
but saying you shipped a same sex ship shouldnt have to be stated  as a defense against homophobia accusation if all of a persons ships were het that doesnt mean homophobia same applies to people who only ship same sex ships
if sun was a chick and yang a man would you still have shipped bb actually if yang was adude would you still have shipped bb from the start so passionately because to be frank I think a good portion of the shipping for team rwby was motivated due to desire for lgbt rep and shippers trying to take saying there will be lgbt rep as meaning team rwby would be lgbt . if say every last member of team rwby was decided to be straight and they never budged on that decision just because of popularity of white rose and bumbleby  that would be fine  the idea that because there were feasible same sex ships  doesnt mean the writers had to make it  happen (
I shipped blacksun because of the years of teasing , mutual attraction and development blacksun  with v6 goodbye scene coming off as romatnic goodbye scene rather then a ship sinking a statement that they will see each other again in vacuo and its then that blacksun will happen  ( sun stated he didnt go there just to get with blake not that he didnt want to )  sun left the group  because they needed to lessen the cast bloating )
it can be argued that the teasing for bb only began in v7 you can argue that they intended on v6 finale moments to be romantic but they werent inherently romantic ( I find it funny whne people try to hold adams line as gospel when he was called delusional and wouldnt understand why she values her friends and he has a hate for humans ) but leaving adams line aside  none of the blake and yang moments in v6 finale were inherently romantic not the hand holding scene not the hug scene not the plane scene ( the argument that since renora got a plane scene that was read as romantic we have to see the bb plane scene as romantic ignores the differences in those scenes)  ( I had faith in crwby that they wouldnt throw away the years of teasing , buildup and development they gave blacksun during which there wasnt anything that hinted at bb being more than friends
sorry but  any argument that amounts to but  yellow beauty and black the beast lines  or well blakes aura is purple which is the color of yangs eyes and yangs aura is gold and blakes eyes are yellow etc is thrown out as worthless for one it relys on meta  reasoning  like yellow and purple meshing well and sorry  but its irrelevant when it comes to writing of the story  that was actually put in and the whole purple and yellow argument could easily be stated to have just been done because of how blake and yang are partners with each other like putting two guys with matching  color themes as evidence
besides the fact that crwby statedf they arent looking to replicate the stories of the myths
remember the oldest form of cinderella story is rhodipus who was saved by the brother of sappho of lesbos ( the inspiration for jaunes sister who appeared in v6 ) by that logic cinder could fall for jaune )
so the argument that since they used the lines beauty and beast for the theme songs they cant just stay as a sister like relationship is nonsense ( the teasing for bb only began in story in v7  nothing in v6 was inherently romantic
I mean beasts real name was adam you could easily use the name as evidence for taurodonna or sun going after blake and being a big part of her development as evidence for  him being the beauty
you could make the argument for
blacksun as romantic with references to beauty and beast
bb being platonic
and taurodonna as beast fully becomes a monster
the argument that bb was planned from the start because they use the words beauty and beast in theme songs is bs and blacksun had aCTUAL ROMANTIC  songs
(  If sun and yangs genders were swapped alot og the bb shippers who insist that bb was planned from the start would be going queerbaiting many of the bb shippers only shipped it due to a desire for lgbt rep which is a shallow reasoning (shipping just because of genders involved is shallow  good writing and interactions is more important ( it doesnt matter that there are more shows with het ships canon good writing is more important )
if sun and yangs genders were swapped people would have been bringing up how crwby stated they werent planning to repeat the myths
speaking of which the argument of but team jnpr included 2 m/f partners and they got together  or romantic hints  is a bad argument it goes since something happening with team jnpr the same thing should happen with team rwby by that reasoning do you want a member of team rwby to die
there is nothing wrong with members of team rwby all being platonic relationships while arkos and renora become canon)
and I could easily make the color argument for blacksun
and second black the beast and yellow beauty arguments
for one they stated that   they had no intentions on copying the storys you could easily make the point that since they did that they would use the black the beast and yellow beauty lines for two friends
I mean cinderella is now a villain in rwby and jaune represents her prince charming ( the oldest version ofcinderella story was about a greek slave girl rhodopis who was rescued by the brother of sapphos of lesbos )
but I doubt they are getting together
heck adams inspiration was the beast   and his relationship with blake was former friend/lover turned antagonist
it can be argued the beauty and beast  relationship was referenced in three ways  with yang and blake platonic,  blake and adam antagonistic ,  blake and sun romantic ( sun had a bigger part in blakes development then yang did and the yin and yang motif fits better  )
not to mention saying they planned it at the start or they had the idea for it at the start isnt the same as saying it was built up fro mthe start
the claim that bb was planned from the start can easily be refuted by  if it was why was it set up so badly why did it take so long for actual teasing at them having romantic feelings or attraction to eachother why give blacksun so much teasing and development
there are two ways we can say this blacksun was the original plan but they threw away the years of development and teasing for blacksun to change direction for marketing purposes or just because of the popularity of bb ( popularity doesnt mean there is actual buildup )  a bad writing move it doesnt mesh well with the years of teasing and development
and 2 they did originally plan for bb and for blacksun to be a red herring but they ended up giving blacksun years of teasing adn development  and rather then throwing out the old plan for bb  and stayed   with blacksun  to fit the actual story  a good writing move    they kept to the plan even though the story pointed in a different direction
the argument I have seen by some that we only ship blacksun over bb because of the genders involved comes off as projection thats their reasoning for shipping bb over blacksun and seeing evidence where there is none
I have seen people try to go there are tons of shows where het ship becomes canon  go watch one of those as if the reasoning for shipping blacksun over bb was just due to genders involved that we are mad about bb due to it beign a same sex ship which is irrelevant
I would love to imagine to see that person complain about there not being any lgbt rep in a show or that none of main characters or lgbt like say if the show s protagonists are all women and they saw it as a feasible opportunity for same sex ships pairing them with each other and they all ended up straight and someone went there are other shows where there is lgbt rep.  and there is fanfic or shows in the future which will have lgbt rep
( its irrelevant that there arent that many shows with lgbt rep or canon same sex pairings invovling the mc good writing is more important  same sex ships are no different from het ships so they deserve criticism  saying one ship should have happened over another is fine.
do you know how many times I have seen people try to call a het ship forced when its not like how during v3 someone claimed they were forcing het ships on us when all they did was tease blacksun and not bb
( to the people who would go if bb was a het ship you would have shipped it  over blacksun or seen the moments as romantic no I wouldnt for they were teasing blacksun more while nothing bb had hinted at romance until v7 arguably v6  finale
the you would have shipped it if it was changed from a same sex ship to a het ship thar could easily be flipped onto them if say blake was a man instead of a girl ( to keep the black the beast line )   you would have shipped blacksun
and would call it queerbaiting how they thew the years of development for blacksun to go with bb
while I would still have shipped blacksun .
all that matters is  the  writing the whole but lgbt rep is irrelevant good writing is more important
if I like the pairing I will ship it  if like the characters interaction I will ship it
if the ship I liked doesnt get the  romantic evidence  or teasing I wanted  if they dont decide to put it into a romantic angle    then I am fine with that ( lets say I was a bb shipper at the start I would have changed to blacksun and say that there wasnt any showings that they were going in the direction for bb)
but if they do give the ship years of teasing, mutual attraction and development ( which is why I liked it )  but throw it away for the popular ship that didnt get any romantic buildup or teases beforehand that is when I would have a problem
or throw in a ship in the last minute as a publicity stunt and last minute retcon  breaking the narrative. when the narrative pointed to another couple while the two characters involved in the forced ship barely interacted and were barely friends and were incompatible it required one of the girls to be ooc ( reference to another show lok  to people who try to go but its the only canon same sex ship so what good writing is more important  then a political statement at the cost of the narrative     stop focusing on genders involved )
I have seen people make the oh but there arent many shows where there is lgbt representation involving a main character one  that is unimportant we are talking about rwby not a statement good writing is more important then a statement
second of all even if bb didnt happen its not like there werent other same sex ships that were feasible like freezerburn .
someone could
( the argument that since team jnpr were all paired to eachother rwby should be is a bad argument  and relys on something done with a different team .
by that logic I can say since one of team jnpr died one of team rwby should
“Maybe i am the only one but freezerburn would have been such a good ship to make canon. You dont throw out Blake and Sun's development (that took almost 5 seasons) out of the window and you deliver a nice lgbt ship to the fans! Yang and Weiss have such good moments in v5 and before that too! (planing the ball together and fighting in v3). Like the reunion between Weiss and Yang, the hug, the music, the hushed voices- this is the most romantic scene ever, no bb scene can compete. I just- local biker girl dating the atlas princess is such a missed opportunity for a wholesome ship in which the two parties talk and trust each other.“

About Jaune ships...
I have opinions. You may not agree, but they are mine. They may change in time, but not now.
LANCASTER ( RUBY X JAUNE )
The old tried and true. I mean, what's not to like? Cute girl falls for first guy she meets at Beacon? Classic romance trope, and after reading how much Ruby loves romance stories (I consider certain parts in the manga canon), it makes sense. In fact, after Arkos sank (A moment of silence, please . . . Thank you), many moved to Lancaster, which isn't bad. Happens all the time in fandoms. Sad thing, though, is far I think she'll last. If we're talking Volume 5 or earlier, then maybe. However, I feel if Ruby were to have an endgame in romance, it would be RoseGarden (I have opinions on that as well, but today isn't the day to discuss that), mostly because Oscar bumped Jaune's role from male lead to male side. Not to mention that while Jaune is becoming a beast in his own right, Ruby is a different creature altogether and evolving her character more rapidly and chaotically than anyone else (Must be all that screentime).
TLDR: I want it to be canon, but I might just be hoping.
WHITE KNIGHT ( WEISS X JAUNE)
Doofus in tin foil meets princess who hates daddy (Am I in the romance section of the library? You know, the corner for adults only?) No, but I do like this ship. I'm always a sucker for the fantasy genre, and using a zero to hero male makes it relatable. I also kind of ship it because the same reason I ship NaruSaku in the Naruto fandom: he likes her and he's willing to go the distance. But enough about that; instead let's talk about canon. Will they hook up? It's a soft maybe for me, for two reasons. 1. Rosegarden is most likely to be endgame, and after Ruby and Pyrrha, I'd say Weiss is Jaune's next to be his love interest. 2. Weiss has warmed up to Jaune. Sure, not lover or crush level (Yet), but she's definitely changed her opinion on him. In Volume 1, Jaune was bugging her, like all the time, which I could see as him getting mixed signals on (Exhibit A: Tall, blonde, and scraggly). When Volume 5 came around, everyone jumped onboard because he saved her life (Don't lie, because I'll admit that I did it, too). Not the best reason, but still reason enough, I'd say. Then in Volume 7, she hangs out with him and Oscar to the movies (It was either that or awkward Bumbleby all night. I feel ya, sister). Nothing romantic happens, but it does show how much their relationship has developed. If Weiss is Jaune's endgame, then they have set the pieces up perfectly to do so.
TLDR: High likelihood to be canon and I'm a sucker for Knight/Princess ships.
KNIGHTSHADE ( BLAKE X JAUNE)
This is the part where I say definitely not. Not in a million years, but I'll explain why I like the ship, though. As for why it won't work, the answer is Bumbleby. They haven't kissed yet, but you know they're going to eventually (Because if they don't, the fans will attack like a swarm of hornets). But here's the question you might be asking now: why do I ship this? Well, it's part of the allure of "opposites attract" ('Cause I'm dressed like a cat!). Blake is an intelligent, outspoken, and agile ninja with a criminal history of terrorism who spends her free time reading novels. Jaune is a B at best on his tests, soft-hearted, and ground-based knight who's worst crime is fraud (Still a crime, but peanuts compared to literal terrorism) and spends his free time hanging out with his team. Day and night. But they also tried that with Sun for a season and a half and it didn't last (BECAUSE BEES).
TLDR: Not even a snowball's chance in the summer sun, but so much story potential if you do (Which I do)!
DRAGONSLAYER ( YANG X JAUNE )
This, I would say, is the opposite of Knightshade, where Jaune is the day and Blake is night, here Yang is the Sun and Jaune is the Moon (Like their crests! Remember those? Y'know, when they were relevant?) Will it work? Even less so than Knightshade. However, it does open up some interesting paths considering how... provocative Yang can be, and Jaune, compared to the other guys, is the nerdiest, geekiest dude at Beacon. It's like the cheerleader/nerd romance, except the cheerleader is the captain of every sports team... and rides a motorcycle. The Volume 8 preview introduced us to Yang and Jaune riding motorcycles and we went nuts over it. Yang was back in her element, roaring down the street, riding on walls, popping off tricks with Oscar riding- Back to what I was saying, people were asking, "How did he know how to ride a motorcycle?" and the elementary answer is "He didn't." He almost fell off his bike from a small box in the road. True, anyone would, but look at how he reacts: he stiffens, he refocuses on the road. This kid literally started riding at breakfast, and I DARE you to prove me wrong. But hey, great fic material right there, though, eh?
TLDR: Never gonna happen, but I don't care. All I care about is writing that they love each other. And they also fu-!
ARKOS ( PYRRHA X JAUNE )
I'm sorry, I need a moment. . . . Alright. Do it for her. This ship... was perfect. Probably the best ship out them all. I legit almost cry every time I think about Volume 3. Pyrrha was everyone's favorite. Her background, her interactions, her choreography, everything! But, of course, like everything in our lives, she was too good to be true. But let's honor her memory by talking about her ship, Arkos. Pyrrha was the champion of the world, the Brothers' and Oums' gift to Remnant. She could do no wrong and she HATED it. Her plight was with how she was seen. Everybody knew her! Everybody, except Jaune. And he only figured out she was "a big deal" was because Weiss had to spell it out for him! As time went on, they became the best of friends, two peas in a pod, the perfect odd couple! They worked together and trusted each other, they cared for and supported each other, they lo- No. No, I can't say it. It's been years, and it still hurts. So, I'll explain something else: the reason why Jaune SHOULD NOT be shipped right now. That reason is Pyrrha. Jaune was helpless to save her. He's suffering from survivor's guilt and he's still grieving. In Volume 4, he would sneak away and train until late at night to scroll recording of her. In Volume 5, he confronted Cinder and got Weiss almost killed because he let his grief for Pyrrha take control of him and let his emotions run wild. In Volume 6, he finds the Pyrrha statue and he... I don't know how to say this, but he let's go. He accepts that Pyrrha is gone and he's starting the healing process. He's finally ready to move forward.
TLDR: T.T I never felt that it was wise to wish too much~
MARTIAL ARCS ( REN X JAUNE)
I'll be honest, I don't really ship it. Yeah, it's cute, and it falls perfectly into the "if I had to pick a guy" part of me, but to be honest, I don't ship it. 10% because Renora and 90% it just doesn't click with me. They both just seem too soft, too quiet, too introverted. Best friends? Yes, definitely! But lovers? Eeeeeh, not really.
TLDR: I will only ship as neccessary.
NORA'S ARC ( NORA X JAUNE )
I've only just got in this deep with the fandom only recently, so I don't know if a lot of you know me. Heck, I'm probably just some RWBY fan you happen to spot as you move through your dash. However, old or new, I want to be made absolutely positively clear on this. Of all the ships here, this has got to be my-
O T FUDGIN' P
Wow! Never thought I'd feel so strongly about a crack ship like this. And yes, as sad it is to say, this is a crack ship. Renora was planned from day one, so it can't be helped. At least it didn't blast me in the face all of the sudden (OH NO, NOT THE BEES! AAAAARGH! THEY'RE IN MY EYES!). But why this ship? Well, for one thing, it's that whole opposites attract thing with Nora as the bubbly, outspoken, airhead powerhouse and Jaune as the soft spoken, introverted, nerd tactician. But wait, there's more to this trope, because it can go deeper: Order VS Chaos! Who makes all the messes? Who cleans up those messes? Who follows all the rules? Who makes their own doors? It's just. So. Damn! GOOD! One sad thing about this ship though is that it's not only not canon because of Renora, it's anti-canon because Renora. Every fan fic of Nora's Arc requires an explanation for Ren and Nora to not be together-together, like you have to write a formal apology to the FNDM for liking something that's different from what is canon or commonly accepted. If that's the case, then I'll be the anarchist here!
TLDR: I LOVE IT! What's that? Not canon? Who gives a damn?! I just explained why Jaune won't be shipped anyways! Now, if you'll excuse, I have some fan fics to find.
ARCFALL ( CINDER X JAUNE )
Oh, here it goes! Now, if we're talking ships that'll never happen, this is where we find better reasons than "it's not canon" and "character development". No, this... This is a declaration of war. Allow me to explain. Cinder Fall is evil. Like, down to her core. She wants power and she'll cut through anyone to get to it. Including Pyrrha. This woman sank Arkos by means other than "X and Y kissed, so..." She killed X, leaving Y alone. And her interactions with Jaune tell me she wouldn't even be worth a hate-bang. But, as Momma always, there's a thin line between love and hate. This is where the appeal comes in. Cinder is evil with no past, which leaves the previous chapter's of her life story blank to be filled in. Jaune is good with a troublesome, albeit easy past, but untapped potential for more. It's another opposites attract, but different from INTRO VS EXTRO and CHAOS VS ORDER; this is GOOD VS EVIL. Who will win this battle of wills; will our hero purify the tainted heart, or will he slip deeper into darkness, never to return to the light?
TLDR: Should be a NOTP, and yet the allure pulls me in.
What do y'all think? Do you agree? Let me know!

Top 3 ships from any fandom?
Top 3 ships...
Oh gawd... If I get attacked by my ships, I will still stand still because anyways, I like them and ships brings me comfort or ease especially in the times when I need it. I love ships(even if some wont be canon) so why not.
Top 3
Akalynn (KDA) (LeagueOf Legends)
Tumblr media
From "Popstars" MV
They're hot. They are fking hot. THEY ARE JUST HOT OK AND I SIMP BUT AT THE SAME TIME I SHIP.
Anyways, this ship is... h o t. I'm SUPER INLOVE with their dynamic. Street one and the fancy(hot) one. They're too hot together. Also they always stand next to each other and always lean on to each other which is wholesome af.
Top 2
Lumity (The Owl House)
Tumblr media
From "Enchanting Grom Fright" (S1 E16)
Yes... who wouldn't.
I mean their relationship with each other is fking perfect and real. Wholesome and they benefit each other alot. Even if it was one-sided crush, it doesn't feel like it is unhealthy or the one who had a crush feel left out and I FKING LOVE IT. ISTG THIS IS PERFECT AND HAS LIKE ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING AF WRITING OF RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT(platonic AND romantic) TO EVER EXIST. I LOVE THEN FFDRDJEK-
-calm down now-
I heard season 2 has alot more stuff going on now... imma try to watch if I can. (Please send link ;'))
Honorable Mentions
Tumblr media
Kanao x Tanjiro (Demon Slayer/Kimetsu No Yaiba)
Tumblr media
Naruto x Sasuke (Naruto)
BECAUSE WAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA.
Tumblr media
Bumbleby (Yang x Blake) (RWBY)
Because they reminds me of me and my gf then I fell inlove with this ship suddenly. I love them no matter what
Top 1
RoseGarden (Ruby x Oscar) (RWBY)
Tumblr media
Couple of shots from "Necessary Sacrifice" (V5 C5)
(This is gonna be long so beware if you dont want very long stuff)
This ship does have flaws and uncertainties that I understand that not everyone ships this and doesnt like this: "the Ozpin thing" which is a common reason(dont take this as a "call out" or anything hateful) and lack of screentime/execution(im not sure how u guys call it ?? I still lack some vocabulary) but I understand its kinda hard to balance the main plot and character relationships. There are other personal reasons too or its just not their thing which I also understand.
I personally still love this ship so much though because of their connection and how they care and treat each other. I love their platonic relationship with each other because even if they are honest about something even if it's hard truth, they can still respect each other and doesnt think of each other as someone below them, just an honest friend trying to help out or care and thats what I love about their connection and I love honest yet caring bonds. I also love their emotional bonding too and it's very comforting and wholesome to me. Everytime I see them interact(platonic or not), it gives me light and great ease so you wouldn't be surprised if you see me have alot of rg screenshots and fanarts in my gallery XD. But despite how much I LOVE this ship, I actually don't care where they'll end up as long as they get closer and thats the only main thing I am rooting for. Ruby can end up with Oscar, Weiss, Jaune or be an independent woman or any path she takes as long as when the series ends, the fndm wont get to a bigger war than now-
Anyways, ship what you guys ship. I dont care what kind of taste of ships you like as long as you dont fking attack people for just a fking ship (which is not supposed to be taken as "We'll all die because of this and that" when it comes to fandoms and such cuz wtf)
So anyways(again), I just really love these ships that are mentioned even if they won't likely or arent really canon. Some are for crack (or for fun) and some are personal taste and some are really what I find so amazing in their own way. I love em all. Relationships/bonds are my literal comfort during quarantine right now haha.
Holy fk-

“But Bumbleby was rushed/forced to pander to the gays—”
Tumblr media
There are a number of glaring flaws in this argument, most of all the fact that no straight relationship is ever called “forced” or “pandering” even if people don’t like it, let alone “rushed” when it’s only on the verge of officially happening seven seasons into the show, but I want to break down all of the many levels on which it’s wrong in order to hopefully kill it once and for all.
“It came out of nowhere—”
Tumblr media
Jaune was crushing on Weiss the second he saw her, Sun was crushing on Blake the moment he saw her, Pyrrha developed feelings for Jaune in just one Volume and showed some interest from the moment she saw him, and Blake goes from being consistently annoyed at Sun throughout Volumes 1 and 2 to suddenly having a crush on him in Volume 3.
If Bumbleby supposedly “came out of nowhere,” then so did W/hite Knight, A/rkos, and B/lacksun. But no one ever has an issue with the speed at which those characters started having romantic interest in each other. And I’m not even saying they should—they’re all very valid ships and whether they came out of nowhere or not isn’t the point of this—but there’s a clear double standard applied to same sex ships as opposed to heterosexual ships here and it invalidates this point right out of the gate.
“It was rushed—”
Tumblr media
Blake and Yang are only just now close to becoming an official couple after more than six whole Volumes of knowing each other. There is no possible universe where this would qualify as “rushed.” Again, W/hite Knight and B/lacksun albeit both one-sided at least to begin with both became obvious things within literal episodes of the characters meeting, and Jaune and Pyrrha were showing blatant romantic interest in each other by Volume 2 before kissing in Volume 3.
In the last case you can argue that it went at a faster pace because Pyrrha was going to die, but that doesn't change the fact that no one complained that it went too quickly—or about the other two ships I mentioned which were both initially based solely on one (1) instance of a guy showing interest in a girl—and yet people say it’s too soon for Blake and Yang to get together when they’ve had over twice as long for their relationship to develop.
“The shippers forced it into the show—”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t think I even need to add any more here when the words of CRWBY speak for themselves.
“Toxic shippers think everything is gay—”
Tumblr media
I mean, I’m gay and I only truly ship a handful of the possible same sex pairings in the show—certainly far from the majority of them—and I also ship a number of straight ships, but go off I guess.
I already made a post on this here, but it’s insanely dismissive and ridiculous for heterosexual people i.e. the ones who usually use this “argument” to assume that they know better than actual LGBT+ people what is or isn’t good LGBT+ representation, and for them to assume that just because they missed build up that it therefore isn’t there.
I can’t take someone seriously when they go into a discussion determined to believe that they’re already right and don’t listen to a word you say to prove otherwise, especially when they’re debating on a topic which doesn’t directly affect them and which they don’t have the same level of firsthand knowledge of.
“The wasps only care about Blake and Yang getting in each other’s pants—”
Tumblr media
Actually, it’s the people who are most aggressively against Blake and Yang being a couple that tend to reduce their relationship to being entirely about sex even though they haven’t had a single remotely sexual interaction in the show, but if this were true then surely Bumbleby shippers would be very unhappy with the show because Blake and Yang have still not “got in each other’s pants,” or “swapped clit juice” as I once saw someone tastefully describe it?
But that isn’t right. Because in general us Bee shippers are currently exceedingly happy with everything that’s happening in the show to do with Blake and Yang’s relationship. So how can that be if all we care about is whether they fuck or not?
The answer is of course that we don’t only care about whether they fuck or not—in fact most of us couldn’t care less whether it’s ever so much as hinted that they have sex, both because the show almost certainly won’t ever go there and because that isn’t our priority—we’re just enjoying watching them fall in love.
Honestly this argument is one of the most lazy because one look at RWBY will tell you that none of the romances are at all sexual thus far so any shippers who truly only care about that aspect wouldn’t stick around very long when they’ll just end up disappointed. And of course the way that these people inherently view same sex relationships as sexual is homophobic and disgusting too.
“CRWBY rushed it to give the rabid shippers what they want—”
Tumblr media
Like the last two points, this is a “criticism” that I’ve only ever seen levelled at same sex ships and never straight ships, so it’s yet another example of double standards and hypocrisy, but that’s only the start of what’s wrong with it.
The most galling thing about this is that these people insist that all LGBT+ people because as I’ve already mentioned that is always the group which statements like this are aimed at just want to see two characters of the same gender make out as soon as possible, which is simply not true.
No one would ever claim that straight people just want to see a man and a woman get it on as soon as possible and dismiss the worth of a straight relationship because of it. So it’s ridiculous to try and force that logic onto shippers of same sex ships, who are primarily LGBT+ people themselves.
If anything, we care even more about the quality of our ships—how healthy they are, whether they’re well built up or not, etc.—because we hardly have any to begin with in comparison. If one straight ship is rushed or poorly written, then there are plenty of well-handled ones to choose from instead, but the same isn’t the case for same sex ships.
We want to be represented well, which means that we want healthy relationships with plenty of development where the characters actually have chemistry and complement each other. We might still support rushed or badly-written same sex ships sometimes because it’s still representation which we are overall sorely lacking, but we don’t want them.
“But they ship baited with Blake and Sun—”
Tumblr media
First off, straight ships can’t be baited the same way that same sex ships can. It’s simply not a comparable situation. But of course B/lacksun shippers are entitled to feel disappointed that their ship didn’t become canon. That’s utterly valid and understandable. However, that doesn’t mean that the writers or the show in any way misled viewers regarding what was happening.
“But Sun winked at Blake—”
And Yang also winked at Blake in Volume 2 while asking her to the dance, just like Sun winked at Blake in Volume 1 and then asked Blake to the dance. And Blake turned Sun down when he asked initially, specifically told him that they were only “technically” going together when she ran into him outside, and told him definitively that she had chosen to give her first dance to Yang.
“But Blake blushed at Sun—”
And now she’s also blushed at Yang, in a far more intimate scene at that. Next point.
“But Sun met Blake’s parents—”
And? Simply meeting someone’s parents doesn’t on any level automatically imply romance. Ghira didn’t even like Sun, and while a lot of people like to claim that Kali “ships it” which would be extremely flimsy evidence to base the canonicity of a ship on anyway, she’s someone who would do the same with anyone Blake brought home so it means nothing. If Blake had actually chosen to take Sun home with her herself then this would be a valid point, but she didn’t, so it has no weight whatsoever overall.
“But Blake kissed Sun on the cheek—”
And I kiss my mother on the cheek the exact same way every time I say goodbye to her. If you think that type of kiss on the cheek has to be romantic then quite frankly I’m not sure what world you’re living in. If the camera had been close up, if there had been any shots at all of their reactions, any blushing or lingering looks, a more private setting— literally anything to give it some actual weight and make it feel significant, then this might mean something, but it’s framed as a totally platonic goodbye with zero romantic coding.
And that’s without even mentioning the fact that right after that moment Sun flat out states that his time with Blake was “never about [romance],” which sort of kills the idea that anything about that scene was supposed to be taken as romantic. There was no reason to include that line except to make it clear to the audience that Sun and Blake parted ways as friends who now have no intention of ever becoming anything more.
Seriously, if they wanted us to think that there was still something there, then Blake would have been shown to be thinking about or missing Sun even one since they separated, but he hasn’t been brought up for even a second. If they wanted to set up a continuation of anything romantic for them when the group reach Vacuo, say, then they would have started doing it by now.
Plus the reverse argument that Blake and Sun have never hugged or held hands—both of which Blake and Yang have done multiple times—works just as well, perhaps even better since handholding is a well-established romantic cue in the show already thanks to A/rkos, R/enora, and O/zma and Salem.
“But why was Sun even there in Volumes 4 and 5 then—”
Because Blake needed a friend who she could exposition to about her thought processes and personal problems so that the audience could understand what she was going through, and she wasn’t as likely to open up to her parents about that stuff right away when she was convinced they’d hate her for leaving.
Sun was there to support Blake as she developed and to tell her that running away hurt the very people she was trying to protect. That was his narrative role in that arc. There was nothing to indicate that a romance was being built in those more than twenty episodes they spent together and if it was going to happen that would have been the time to do it.
On the other hand Blake and Yang’s shared arc together is built on the fact that Blake’s romantic ex, who Blake had already directly contrasted with Yang and whose Semblance was already a foil to Yang’s, maimed Yang specifically because Blake loves her. The basis of that arc has romantic weight, which is what makes the difference here. Though the scene at the end of Volume 3 where Adam takes Yang’s arm isn’t romantic in and of itself, I should clarify, it just has romantic significance in that it makes it clear that Blake and Yang’s feelings go beyond mere friendship.
In short, the summary of this whole section pretty much boils down to: two characters spending time together doesn't inherently equal romantic development, and it isn’t in any way “baiting” if those two characters don’t then get together.
The characters’ feelings follow a fairly logical progression over the course of the show, with Blake showing interest in both Sun and Yang in V1-V3, then ceasing to show interest in Sun after that as their relationship becomes totally platonic by Volume 5/the beginning of Volume 6 at the very latest, while the events of the Fall of Beacon only solidified how strong her feelings for Yang were and once she reunites with Yang their relationship begins to head towards romance.
It’s a pretty realistic depiction of how human feelings work, and a far less messy situation than in a lot of other shows where there isn’t the same massive level of hatred and vitriol towards the “victorious” pairing, because this was never even really presented as a love triangle or rivalry.
To conclude, I just want to list some of the contradictions that I’ve seen within the arguments made against Bumbleby, because I think it’s very telling that the people who are against it can’t even settle on one coherent narrative on why it’s bad.
“Bumbleby has no development, but also the show focusses too much on Bumbleby.”
“Monty wouldn’t have wanted Bumbleby—it goes against his vision—even though I didn’t know him and have no idea what his vision actually was, and he explicitly stated that he wanted LGBT+ characters in the show who might already be in the main cast and that he wanted Blake and Yang to have a shared arc together, as well as being responsible for the set up of that arc with Blake and Yang being introduced as Beauty and the Beast while Adam canonically represents Gaston.”
“The Bumbleby shippers have so much influence that they forced the writers to make the ship canon, but they’re also just a vocal minority who don’t matter.”
“Blake and Yang hardly interact—they’re barely even friends—but they also interact too much and it’s making Bumbleby take over the show.”
“Arryn is a victim of the toxic wasps who harrassed her and sent her death threats for saying that the song Bmblb doesn't automatically make the ship canon, which there is zero evidence of,  but Arryn is also an unprofessional cunt for expressing her support of Bumbleby.”
“None of Blake and Yang’s scenes together are romantic so Bumbleby is forced, but even when they have undeniably romantic interactions I’ll ignore them or deny that they mean anything so I can still pretend it has no build up.”
“Bumbleby is bad because Team RWBY are a sisterhood, but all of the other straight relationships within teams—even those who’ve flat out called each other ”family”—are fine, and I’ll just pretend that there aren’t other definitions of the word sisterhood which have nothing to do with actual sisters and are the ones that actually apply in this case.”
“Blake and Yang’s relationship could be seen as romantic or platonic, but I personally think they’re just friends so Bumbleby is bad and came out of nowhere.”
I’ve seen all of these countless times with my own two eyes and it’s absolutely hilarious to be honest. Anyway that’s it. I have yet to see a single logical argument as to why Bumbleby is bad that isn’t made in bad faith, fallacious, or just doesn’t hold up when you actually look at the show. It’s about to be canon, and at this point to be honest anyone who doesn't like that can simply accept it or go and watch something else that will pander to their specific tastes instead.

RWBY / MCU AU (2.0)
(reposting since Tumblr is being weird)
The Avengers
1) Ruby Rose as Tony Stark / Iron Man (reasoning: weapons nut, expert inventor, red color scheme, main protagonist)
2) Jaune Arc as Steve Rogers / Captain America (reasoning: awkward blonde guy who is always trying to prove himself, forged his papers in order to get into Beacon, team leader of JNPR)
3) Weiss Schnee as Thor Odinson (reasoning: yes, I know that Nora is the more obvious choice. I went with Weiss since I felt that she fit Thor’s story better. Nora doesn’t really have good parallels for Loki, Sif, Odin, Hela, and the rest of the Thor cast. As for Weiss, she started out as an arrogant heiress with a terrible father and brother. She later lost her inheritance and was humbled by her experiences in Beacon and with Team RWBY. To me, her character arc fits Thor to a tee)
4) Yang Xiao Long as Bruce Banner / The Incredible Hulk (reasoning: prone to anger, known for brute force and punching. Also, since she’s Bruce, she would be close friends with Ruby, which could mirror their sisterly relationship)
5) Harriet Bree as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (reasoning: if the Atlas Military and Ace Ops are S.H.I.E.L.D. in this AU, then I felt that a member of Ace Ops should be Black Widow and Hawkeye)
6) Clover Ebi as Clint Barton / Hawkeye (reasoning: if the Atlas Military and Ace Ops are S.H.I.E.L.D. in this AU, then I felt that a member of Ace Ops should be Black Widow and Hawkeye)
Guardians of the Galaxy
1) Mercury Black as Peter Quill / Star-Lord (reasoning: douchey guy who always feels the need to overcompensate. Hates his biological father)
2) Emerald Sustrai as Gamora (reasoning: she’s partners with Mercury, green color scheme, can be said to be in league with Salem due to her association with Cinder, black character)
3) Roman Torchwick as Rocket Raccoon (reasoning: loudmouthed thief who mocks everyone, partners with Neo who is Groot)
4) Neopolitan as Groot (reasoning: characters known for their distinct way of “speaking”, Roman’s closest associate, cutest member of the team)
5) Cardin Winchester as Drax the Destroyer (reasoning: big, muscular guy who is not really known for his brains)
6) Cinder Fall as Nebula (reasoning: she’s one of Salem’s main followers, Salem being our Thanos. Also, her connection to Emerald)
Wakanda
1) Blake Belladonna as T’Challa / Black Panther (reasoning: daughter of Ghira, our T’Chaka. Her story is all about discrimination and finding a way to bridge the gap between humans and faunus. Technically, she’s of royal blood. She’s also part cat)
2) Adam Taurus as Erik Killmonger (reasoning: anti-human/pro-faunus extremist who is obsessed with Blake. His main plan is basically to kill everyone who he feels is a threat to his people. True, the origins of his obsession with the Black Panther is different in this AU but still)
3) Kali Belladonna as Queen Ramonda (reasoning: Blake’s mom)
4) Ghira Belladonna as King T’Chaka (reasoning: Blake’s dad)
5) Sun Wukong as Nakia (reasoning: Blake’s love interest. Don’t come at me Bumbleby stans, he’s a faunus and Yang’s already cast as Hulk)
6) Ilia Amitola as W’Kabi (reasoning: since she’s a White Fang agent, I felt that she should be the member of T’Challa’s inner circle who ends up siding with Killmonger)
7) Sienna Khan as N’Jobu (reasoning: this is to act as a parallel to her relationship with Adam. N’Jobu was Killmonger’s father, Sienna was Adam’s leader. Also, just like N’Jobu, Sienna was a radical who wanted to fight against discrimination towards her people)
The Black Order
1) Salem as Thanos (reasoning: main villain of the series)
2) Arthur Watts as Ebony Maw (reasoning: member of Salem’s Inner Circle)
3) Tyrian Callows as Corvus Glaive (reasoning: member of Salem’s Inner Circle)
4) Hazel Rainart as Cull Obsidian (reasoning: member of Salem’s inner circle)
Asgard
1) Jacques Schnee as Odin (reasoning: Weiss’ father)
2) Willow Schnee as Frigga (reasoning: Weiss’ mother)
3) Whitley Schnee as Loki Laufeyson (reasoning: Weiss’ brother)
4) Winter Schnee as Hela (reasoning: Weiss’ sister)
5) Klein Sieben as one of the Warriors Three (reasoning: associate of the Schnee Family)
6) Nora Valkyrie as Valkyrie (reasoning: besides the obvious naming reasons and Viking symbolism, Nora is also headstrong and stubborn)
7) Lie Ren as Heimdall (reasoning: okay, to be honest, Ren is Heimdall mainly so that he can have some type of connection with Nora. In terms of personality, Ren is also stoic and honorable)
Stark Industries
1) Qrow Branwen and Summer Rose as Howard and Maria Stark, respectively (reasoning: going with the fan theory that Qrow is Ruby’s biological father, then it made sense to have Qrow and Summer as the Starks. Also, Qrow being Howard oddly fits if you picture him as a raging alcoholic who unintentionally neglects Ruby while she was growing up)
2) Penny Polendina as J.A.R.V.I.S. / Vision (reasoning: A..I. and android who is close friends with Ruby)
3) Pietro Polendina as Ultron (reasoning: okay, so this one is a bit of a stretch. Since Ultron is the “father” of Vision, then it made sense that Penny’s father would take this role. Just imagine that Pietro is a rogue A.I./killer robot made by Ruby and Yang in this AU)
4) Oscar Pine as Pepper Potts (reasoning: Jaune and Weiss have already been cast, so I guess this AU is a Rosegarden fic)
5) Coco Adel as James Rhodes / War Machine (reasoning: I was running low on characters. This is literally just because her main weapon is a minigun)
Other Major Characters
1) Raven Branwen as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (reasoning: so instead of Ross being Betty’s father, Ross would be Bruce’s father in this AU. The reason for this change is that I really wanted to include Raven in this AU and casting her as a power-hungry general chasing her daughter around the world in order to control the Hulk felt appropriate)
2) Vernal as Betty Ross (reasoning: to keep the General Ross-Betty Ross relationship to some extent, then Vernal as Betty made sense. Instead of being father-daughter, it’s “mother figure-daughter figure”)
3) James Ironwood as Nick Fury (reasoning: big military guy and the head of Atlas Military and Ace Ops)
4) Glynda Goodwitch as Maria Hill (reasoning: this would’ve been Winter...but I have Winter cast as Hela. So Glynda, being my second choice due to her past relationship with Ironwood, gets this role)
5) Neptune Vasilias as Jane Foster (reasoning: closest character we have for Weiss’ love interest. Don’t come at me Whiterose stans, Ruby’s already Iron Man)
6) Bartholomew Oobleck as Erik Selvig (reasoning: it’s mainly because he’s a professor)
7) Pyrrha Nikos as Peggy Carter (reasoning: warrior, closest character we have for Jaune’s love interest)
8) Saphron Cotta-Arc as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier (reasoning: there was literally no other character who I could think of that could fit this role, so I went with Saphron since you have the sibling relationship element with Jaune. This is obviously not a romantic-Stucky interpretation, this is more along the lines of Steve and Bucky being spiritual brothers)
9) Ozpin as Stephen Strange / Doctor Strange (reasoning: Earth’s protector, one of the guys leading the charge against Salem. Also, Ozpin looks like the kind of guy who’d be a mysterious sorcerer)
10) Marcus Black as Ego the Living Planet (reasoning: Mercury’s estranged, biological father)

Hey fellow Bumbleby fans.
Can we all agree to not engage with the haters any more.  I know some of you out there are trying to talk to them, trying to get them to see reason and explaining that Blake and Yang have feelings for each other.
They're not going to listen.  If they still refuse to believe Bumbleby is happening, nothing will convince them.  The scene in “Ace Operatives” was specifically written, and animated, to tell the audience Blake and Yang have a crush on each other.  If they are ignoring hard evidence from the show, nothing you say will change their mind.
We don't have to do this, we don't have to fight.  Blake and Yang, canonically, have romantic feelings for each other.  They will end up in a romantic relationship.  You don't put in all the effort CRWBY have with their relationship, and not pull the trigger.  It will happen, we've already won.
I see people here, on twitter and Youtube, getting frustrated trying to explain how Bumbleby is real.  If you enjoy doing it, then keep going, but you really don't have to, nothing will convince them.
If anything the continued denial, in the face of hard evidence, just makes them look foolish and borderline homophobic.  Just laugh at them and move on, they don't deserve your time.
Please don't let them get to you.  Don't let their hate and ignorance get you down.  To reiterate, we've already won.  Blake and Yang are in love with each other, the fandom now knows this is a fact.  The haters can deny it all they want, but that doesn't make them right.
Take care guys, you're all awesome.  I'm so excited and happy to be here with you, as Bumbleby moves into the romantic stage of their relationship.

Excuse me … is that I am really so angry about the state of Whiterose … they literally have not had 2 minutes of interaction and the whole development is in the Bumbleby (I do not hate the ship … but fuck are already always in screen) it is as if the development of Weiss and Ruby in Vol 5 and 6 did not exist (which in Vol 6 they both developed more) to see that now they want to pair her with Jaune gave me a terrible disgust … honestly Miles and Kerry always hated the WR and it shows
(For context, this is because of a response to a post I made about Weiss going to the movies with Jaune and Oscar, OP was upset she didn’t spend time with Ruby instead and that the Weiss and Jaune ship seemed to be pushed, though the post itself was not shippy)
Okay, so. I understand your frustration as a Whiterose shipper. I am a Monochrome shipper and am also disappointed that Weiss and Blake haven’t gotten any real talk yet this volume (the one in the mines was one-sided so it doesn’t count) even though the one thing the SDC and Atlas in general have been known for since the early volumes of the series was their racism toward Faunus. It’s been 6 eps spent in Atlas and, apart from the drunk guy in episode 1, we haven’t gotten anything about said racism, despite knowing already two Faunus who suffered because of it, namely Adam and Ilia, who Blake know very well and should therefore probably be more concerned about this issue. Anyway.
Your message made me want to go a bit into why I think Whiterose hasn’t gotten development this volume and very little in the past two as well (they had some cute interactions, but you can’t call that development as it is more of a “their interactions are cute” and less of a “they’re learning new things about each other, see each other in a new light” like it was in volumes 1 to 3). But I first want to point out that I don’t think the writers intend to pair Weiss with Jaune, at least in a romantic way. I also don’t think they hate Whiterose and see no reason to believe otherwise. The pair had great development in volumes 1 to 3, when the girls had to get to know each other, and they are comfortable with each other since their reunion. This pair not being portrayed as romantic does not mean that the writers hate it, just that they want to go other ways with the characters or to develop them through other means than romance. But I’ll get to that in a bit.
First off... I think the way characters and their relationships are handled and decided is all a matter of character arcs and stories. To summarise, I think that specific characters in RWBY were made to show specific development and do not get other forms of development. Yang’s development over the volumes is all about what doesn’t kill her makes her stronger and how she evolves after facing a hardship. Linked to that is her abandonment by her mother and her fight against Adam. She overcame both traumas by letting go of her mother, getting attached to other people who will not leave her like Raven did, and by learning from her mistakes to outsmart Adam and beat him. Jaune’s development is about how he starts as an incompetent and filled with doubt noodle and becomes a reliable warrior and leader. His relationships with Weiss and Pyrrha are linked to this as well : he didn’t know any better than heavily flirting with Weiss when he came to Beacon and did not notice Pyrrha’s feelings. Then he started to grow up, be more serious about his studies, gave up on Weiss, realised Pyrrha’s feelings... and lost her, which forced him to mature faster, but did not change the course of his character arc. Blake’s development is about her escaping an abusive and toxic relationship, then reclaiming her life, will, bravery and organisation -basically taking back everything that was stolen from her by her ex- and finding true love in someone who will not abuse her like Adam did. The White Fang part of this development is sorta halted at the moment, but hopefully it won’t be for much longer.
Weiss’ story line is very similar to Blake’s in how it is about escaping abuse, overcoming the impacts it had on her life and the way she manages it and creating relationships to replace the toxic ones. But, in her case, her toxic relationships are the ones she has with some members of her family. Therefore, the relationships she has to create to replace them, and, as a consequence, the relationships she focuses on, are familial ones. Weiss needs to create her own supportive and loving family to help her heal from her father’s abuse and make peace with what she went through before she can focus on something else. Because her character is about family and how her father’s abuse shaped her life for so long that she, sometimes, barely remember who she is, like the Mirror set of songs show, so for now there is no place for romance. Maybe that will change after the Atlas arc is over and they move to Vacuo, but by the time that happens and Weiss can start thinking of romance, something else can come in the way of Whiterose :
Penny Polendina. She has been considered dead for 3 volumes, but now she is back and Ruby has already made it clear that she cares a great deal about Penny and goes out of her way to spend time with her (see, episode 6, going to Robyn’s rally mainly because Penny will be there on a security job). I think the next couple of episodes are going to define the way the potential “triangle” with Ruby, Weiss and Penny might go. After the trauma Penny suffered, the way she will face it and Ruby’s role in it might be indicators as to how their relationship will grow. If it takes a turn to go down the romantic road, Whiterose will be dead. Even if Penny doesn’t follow Ruby in Vacuo or is torn to shreds again, she will be Ruby’s love interest and no one is going to take that spot, not so far into the series, not with everything else going on. If such a turn doesn’t happen though, Whiterose will still stand a chance, but will need to wait for Weiss to be in a better place mentally speaking to really get the needed development.
I think the romantic road for Nuts and Dolts is very likely. So far in volume 7, we’ve had two songs mentioning love : the opening, literally named “Trust in Love”, and the Renora song from episode 6. Penny is shown over romantic lines of both of these songs, in the opening in a typical “anime love interest” shot and in episode 6 Ruby and her are looking at each other, smiling. Subtle hints, but there have been some of these for Bumblebee and none for Whiterose, so I think there’s a good chance this will be relevant.
Sooo... yeah, Whiterose might not become canon, but that doesn’t mean that the writers hate the ship, just that they want to develop Ruby and Weiss in different ways and through different means. And Weiss wanting to get away from her teammates’ flirting by latching onto the first activity offer that is not “go to the victory rally of your father’s opponent where everyone will hate you for your name” does not mean that she’s suddenly going to fall in love with Jaune, especially since it won’t be a one on one date but a three people outing with Oscar in the middle.

RWBY - Do I Ship It #2? Ruby Rose
Tumblr media
I’ve decided to continue this whole shebang with going over ships for individual characters each time. And for this one, we’re looking at our favorite cooking-deepthroating reaper, Ruby Rose...That may be one of my favorite character descriptions I’ve ever typed.
With introductions outta the way, let’s talk some Ruby ships.
White Rose
kinda leaves me indifferent?
overrated
would read a fic about it
Ideally, White Rose has become one of those ships that half of the FNDM loves to hate. But me, I’m not as triggered by it, let alone nowhere near as angered by it’s presence simply because it’s not Bumbleby.
Unlike BB, in which it’s presence makes me wanna slug my screen every time I see a comment thread screeching high praise about it, I can look at White Rose and just be more like: “Eh. It’s okay.” Simply because I have seen WR content that I enjoy, and that at least many WR shippers know when to shut up when they’re called out unlike Wasps.
Really, a lot of the content has a lot heart put into it to where I really can’t get mad at it. I know it’s a WLW ship. I know that’s become a thing to generally hate among RWBY fans. But I do think that WR is the lesser of two evils between that and BB not because I have a lot of friends who ship it, but because I think folks crap on it way too much compared to the demon that BB has become.
Am I saying there aren’t toxic WR fans still around? Hell no. They need to be called out on it, too. But I’m also generally more relaxed about the ship. Nothing major really.
Ladybug
I SHIP IT
CUTENESS OVERLOAD
underrated
hELL YES
Ladybug has become a recent addition to my ship list a while back. But I’ve fallen head over heels for it in such a short amount of time.
Even many folks I’ve spoken to who tend to gag at the mention of WLW ships in a fandom as egregious as RWBY’s agree that the Bugs are really harmless given soft the content of this ship often is. I’m not saying that Ladybug is all “wee-hee-we’re-a-couple-of-happy-go-lucky-dorks” because that would make it unoriginal and boring to read in many cases.
No, the reason I’ve grown to adore Ladybug so much is because I’m one of those who parrots how much of a missed opportunity (like the show is as a frigging whole) how many interactions there could be between Ruby and Blake.
Why wouldn’t they? They’re both into fantasy stories, both have darkened color schemes, and share some general views on why they fight. Really, Ladybug is just a good way for me to fill the void of just how much Rooster Teeth doesn’t give a fuck about how to organize their characters properly?
Volume 5 gets Freezerburn, and not onwards? Come on, RT.
But before I end up turning this into a rwde post, let’s just move onto the next ship.
Nuts & Dolts
I SHIP IT
CUTENESS OVERLOAD
Soulmates
I WOULD DIE FOR IT OKAY
Yeah this one was pretty obvious. But who cares?! I frigging adore Nuts & Dolts.
Let me just be clear in saying that I can ship it platonically/romantically, simply because I love the bond that Ruby and Penny share. They’re both hyperactive, kindhearted and strong-willed girls with a penchant for bladed weaponry and wanting to make the world a better place for everyone.
This initially made N&D into a guilty pleasure ship for me. But over time, I just couldn’t resist or get mad at it because I love how soft it feels. Same reason as Ladybug for the most part. But overall, I like N&D because of just how much soul there is between two people who were born differently with a set of powers that aren’t what you’d call “ordinary”.
As someone who’s been called “unique” or other labels with the disability I have, I usually find it very pretentious and downright grating to see stories that are supposed to be uplifting about being born in a different manner because that can be really damn annoying after a while.
Yeah, stuff like disability or other stuff is under-represented in pop culture. But often it’s portrayed in a very “Hollywood” fashion even if it’s not a work from that culture and work mindset.
I’m not saying N&D is one of those “unique” portrayals, but as something that shows what happens when two saviors who wanted a normal life have someone in each other that they can trust and even love for their shared experiences of being born differently.
Which is why I’ve grown to accept Ruby and Penny as the popular fan portrayal of being girlfriends or platonic friends. They have so much in common, which makes it that much more endearing for me personally.
Okay. Those are some Ruby/Other girl ships outta the way. Now let’s discuss some Ruby/guy ships...Here’s where it gets a little odd.
Lancaster
BROTP
overrated
no thanks
Oh boy. I’m probably gonna get some flak for this entry...
Let me just be clear that this is a post that is NOT meant to attack any particular shippers. This is me stating what I feel about certain ships and me occasionally talking about how I think they would turn out.
It’s not my headcanon interpretations, per se. But instead it’s more how I picture it based on my experience with viewing relationships in my own life before I started discussing fandom ships.
Now that I have that out of the way, let’s discuss Ruby/Jaune.
When I first started watching RWBY, my first ship, like many others was Arkos (more on that when I cover Jaune). I felt that Pyrrha was just the right fit for a lovable dweeb like him with how it helped kick-start his character development and the framework for how he would improve himself overall.
Granted, I wasn’t really expecting Arkos to be canon since Pyrrha had died in V3. It was a tragic outcome for a ship that had so much buildup. And most of the FNDM agreed that Jaune needed a hug along with his friends to help him through it.
When I started to hear about the fact that Jaune was shipped with other girls in the main cast, I wasn’t really shocked since White Knight was already fairly popular. But when I found out about Lancaster, it was like: “Wait a second, people actually ship him with Ruby?”
Was more confusion than astonishment, to be honest. I didn’t really think that it would’ve been fitting despite how close and similar both team leaders were. But I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try with reading a couple of Lancaster works.
I got bored.
I’m not so much angry whenever I hear about Lancaster as I am just not impressed by how much fanon works recycle many tropes and plot elements.
Ruby is secretly in love with Jaune.
Jaune does something adorkable or manly which attracts Ruby.
Ruby makes/attempts to make a move on him with some crazy or titillating way that, while in-character for her, has been repeated one times too many in this or other ships featuring her.
Jaune is generally being a good boi throughout. I like Jaune, but I feel that he’s put in too many fanfics in which he’s overly good and pure. Again. It’s fitting for him, but sometimes a bit of difference in fan interpretation is nice. Make him angry, have him lash out at his friends at times. Just don’t make him a “perfect” boyfriend.
Both dorks often have to hide their relationship because of the possibility of Pyrrha being jealous, Yang going apeshit, or other characters reacting the way they do which is often buzzwords in a fic like that.
Lancaster shippers, I am not attacking you since this is your thing. If so, fine. But it’s not mine as I am giving an attempt to give constructive criticism about some of the ships listed here while talking about ships I like to make these posts all about even ground.
I prefer to see Ruby and Jaune as besties. Hell. I prefer to see them more like siblings considering how much Jaune acted like a big brother to Ruby on the road to Mistral with how Yang was bedridden with depression in V4. I also think that Jaune needs a friend right now rather than a love interest. The same could be said for a lot of characters right now, but that’s a different topic.
My biggest criticism for LC is that while I understand the similarities that they share, it’s the whole “opposite-gender-leads-fall-in-love” trope. This trope can be done right *coughRENORAcough* but is put in so many works that I’m not one of those fans who’s impressed with it.
The ship isn’t original, but it’s nothing to make me wanna rage-post like I’m Keemstar on Red Bull or the like. And I know people who are into it, to which I tell them: Good for all of you. It’s simply not my cup of tea.
Rosegarden
would read a fic about it
meh
not really my thing
Oh god, how I wish it wasn’t harvest season!
Kidding. Kidding. Rosegarden is legit, and all my friends in the group who ship it are wonderful people.
Another ship that I can’t really get angry at since compared to other ships that cover things like young love or ships of people who were born differently (see my Nuts & Dolts entry), RG is pretty fucking harmless and I can tolerate it more even though I’m not into it.
While I understand why it seems hypocritical of me to share and repost stuff related to RG on occasion, this is simply because I have reason to share it based on how much I’ve interacted with shippers and how I’ve actually had productive discussions with them outside of their ship.
It’s the community which I like more than the ship because of how much more chill they are. But there’s also a big reason why I know that some people crap on this one.
Ozpin.
Dude, if I had a Dollar for every “RG-is-pedophilia-because-Oscar-is-Ozpin’s-puppet” fallacy that was posted I wouldn’t be needing a stimulus check. Let me explain to y’all why that’s bullshit.
(RWDE mode online)
Is Ozpin eons of years old? Yes. He’s from Humanity 1.0 and was thrown into the bodies of men in the modern world in his war against Salem. It’s a rough situation with a lot of baggage to any relationship he puts up or wishes to even build-up and I don’t think it should be swept under the rug because there’s a lot of stuff that should be brought up about the guy.
Is Ozpin intervening on any potential interaction between Ruby and Oscar? No. Canon or no, Oz has been a neutral party in whatever interactions the two kids have because it’s not really his business. Do you honestly believe that if Ozpin would be the kind to boss his host around that he would attempt to butt in on their friendship?
As an Oz critic, I can say that while I understand both interactions, I draw the line at this ship being considered pedophilia.
I mean, come on! The FNDM ships Ruby with villains like Roman, Cinder and Salem, who are adults when she’s a teenager! And suddenly it’s okay to claim pedophilia just because Ozpin is present?! ARE YOU HIGH?
If we’re going with that logic, fine, just have Ozpin ascend from his brain after Salem is 86′d, THEN we can have a development in RG’s friendship whether it’s romantic or not. But leave the fans of this pairing out of it!
(RWDE mode offline)
The reason I don’t ship Rosegarden is because I’m not a fan of the whole “young love” trope either. I wouldn’t mind it so much if Oscar wasn’t relegated to a support role due to being an Oz host and he had more screen time rather than the old wizard.
Maybe I’m just too cynical about stuff like this to really care. But the point is, I can’t get mad at this ship either and I’m willing to read up on it in small doses.
Strawbana
I ship it
CUTENESS OVERLOAD
the sexiest pair
we need more of it
underrated
Sun Wukong, you magnificent monkey bastard! You always seem to brighten my day whenever I’m looking through critical discussions related to this show.
Much as I love BlackSun, I’m definietly curious to learn more about other ships involving my homeboy here. Solar Flare, I also like. But Sun/Ruby? Thank you sir, may I have another!
Ugh. Can’t believe I just quoted Animal House to describe my love for this painfully underrated ship. Somebody get me some soap...
Other than their VAs being married in real life, I like Strawbana/Red Sun the same reason as Nuts & Dolts with this being a ship that features two extremely upbeat characters finding love in one another with just how much they kick ass for the reasons of just being good people.
Kinda/sorta the only straight Ruby ship I’m into just because of how much they could rub off on one another, and how much I’d love to see them interact more in canon material. Not just the show but any other tie-in stuff.
Next time, we cover Weissu.

Blacklist!
Hey guys! I just want to throw out a friendly reminder that you can blacklist things on Tumblr that you don’t want to see. Tumblr has a native function for it, but the Xkit extension has an even better one that can scan both the body of the post and the tags, even URLs, and has a setting that you can toggle to hide all traces of the post being blocked rather than simply telling you the post is blocked. It’s quite powerful, and I use it liberally.
So with that being said, I wanted to do a rundown of the content of my blog in case people want to blacklist certain things. I tag almost every categorize-able post on my blog, and I am very diligent about tagging content that others may wish to blacklist. If you send me messages because you saw something you did not want to see, and it is something I have tagged, I will not be apologetic about it. By making sure that I index my content in a way that allows others to curate to their liking, I am doing more than is required of me in running this blog. I will do no more than I currently do to ensure comfort for the people who visit my blog; the rest is on you to either blacklist or unfollow me. Do not expect a friendly reply if you send me a rude message about any of these things. I will respond according to how I am addressed. I am a person behind these posts, and I am not a one-dimensional reflection of whatever content you saw that you didn’t like.
[Readmore for the actual list because this bitch about to get LONG]
Without further ado, my most-used and/or most controversial tags:
#the hawk speaks is my tag for original, personal text posts
#politics is for politics, obviously
#discourse is a catch-all for controversial subjects
#gun control is specifically for arguments relating to the second amendment of the united states
#feminism for posts relating to modern feminism; often cross-tagged with discourse and/or politics
#mra for posts about men’s rights
#circumcision for posts specifically pertaining to male circumcision
#long post is for posts that are just too damn long; it’s a little arbitrary what i end up deciding is long but i try to be reasonable about it
#negative for things that are unhappy/depressing
#reblog bait for things designed to fish for notes (”reblog this and put X in the tags”)
#got damn i laughed for posts that i found exceptionally hilarious
#drunk tag for when i’m being a goddamn fool

Obviously there are plenty of other fandoms/ships I reblog, but that should cover the vast majority of fandom content.
As a final note, this post is not here to invite hate for any of the content I post, especially my ships. I am aware of every single criticism one could think to voice in my inbox. This post is here as a guide for people who want to follow me but don’t want to see certain types of posts. So don’t waste your time trying to berate me over age gaps or incest or abuse in my ships. I do not care. I’ve done my due diligence in tagging my content appropriately; the responsibility therefore lies with you if you see content you don’t want to see. If asked, I am open to tagging some content warnings if I find the request reasonable, but I maintain my right to refuse those requests if I don’t find them agreeable.
Thanks for following me, and I hope this post is helpful for anyone who may have been interested in blacklisting some of my content.

on the verge of realization
Bumbleby Week Day 5 - Beacon Days
She doesn’t question it, the sense of familiarity, of unconditional safety, that comes with Yang’s presence, even though they’ve known each other for less than half a year, even though Blake’s promised herself she’d keep her distance this time, she’d be careful, lest she repeats past mistakes.
Team RWBY is having an early morning training session, and Blake finds herself distracted.
It’s very early - a couple hours before dawn - and quite chilly outside. The autumnal wind has a cruel bite to it, and Blake hugs her sweater, wishing she was wearing something a little warmer than her workout shorts. Around her, Beacon Academy is still and quiet. Most students are probably sound asleep in their dorm rooms, and Blake really misses her bed.
Beside her, Weiss stands straight, unhappy, clad in skintight leggings and a long-sleeved white workout shirt. “Where are they?” she grumbles, heel stomping petulantly against the ground.
Ruby asked them to meet in the central courtyard for an early training session - the Vytal Tournament starts tomorrow, and she wants the team to be in top shape - but neither her nor Yang have arrived yet. They were gone by the time Blake and Weiss left the dorm room, presumably to get something to eat.
“I swear, if this is some kind of prank….” Weiss starts. She’s interrupted by a flurry of rose petals, and the screeching sound of a fast-moving body coming to an abrupt halt.
“Morning!” Ruby shouts, appearing between them with the energy of someone who’s already consumed an unnecessary amount of sugar.
Blake winces at the volume. “Hey, Ruby. Where’s Yang?”
“Right here.” A familiar arm curls around her shoulders, and her partner steps next to her, drawing her in a side hug. Yang smells like coffee, and she feels warm against Blake, and for a minute Blake is overwhelmed with the desire to close her eyes and fall back to sleep.
(She doesn’t question it, the sense of familiarity, of unconditional safety, that comes with Yang’s presence, even though they’ve known each other for less than half a year, even though Blake’s promised herself she’d keep her distance this time, she’d be careful, lest she repeats past mistakes.)
“Alright team! Let’s do this!” Ruby says, cheerful as always, punctuating her words with a light punch to Weiss’s shoulder, which earns her a glare and a shove.
Right. Blake shakes herself out of her morning haze, rolling her neck. Yang lets her go, and they stand side by side listening to Ruby’s instructions.
Today’s program is nothing complex: some sparring, some stretching, some strength and speed exercises. And to start it all, an hour-long run throughout the school grounds. Weiss groans at that prospect, but Blake doesn’t mind. She likes running - how her lungs burn and her legs ache and how it sharpens her thoughts, helping her focus on the moment, and nothing else. After a few minutes of warm-up, Ruby takes the lead, and Weiss follows her, displeased but disciplined. Blake and Yang bring up the rear.
It’s quiet. Peaceful. The four of them are alone, apart from a few students hurrying towards the library, and a second-year team engaged in semblance practice in the West courtyard.
Blake and Yang don’t talk while they run, so the only sounds are the soft thump of their feet against the grass, and the regular rhythm of their breathing. From time to time, they knock elbows, or bump shoulders, and Yang grins at her. Every time, Blake smiles back.
(And that’s another thing she won’t question: the warmth filling her chest when Yang looks at her, like sunlight on her skin ; how easily they fall into pace with one another, like the tide and the moon. No, Blake won’t question it, and she won’t let herself dig too deep into the recesses of her heart. After all, this is only their first year. She has all the time in the world to figure it out.)
The sun rises, timid and pale, as they finish their run. Weiss lets herself fall on a stone bench - she’s breathing hard and fast, strands of white hair sticking to her temples. Sweat drips down Blake’s back, soaking her shirt, and she’s a little out of breath, but otherwise fine. Ruby smiles wide, and gives them all congratulatory high-fives.
“Yay, team RWBY! We’re gonna kick ass in the tournament!”
Blake smiles back, relishing in the sense of pride surging through her, while Yang cheerfully claps Weiss on the shoulder. She’s still not quite used to feeling accomplished after a training exercise. When Adam was her mentor, nothing was ever good enough. She was never good enough. If she closes her eyes, she can still hear his voice, disappointed and angry, she can still see the downward curve of his mouth, the dismissive snap of his fingers. But Ruby is nothing like him, Beacon is nothing like the White Fang, and sometimes it dawns on her: how different her life is, here, with these people. How much happier she is.
“Here,” Yang says, handing her a bottle of water.
“Thanks.”
As she drinks, she can’t help wondering how much of her newfound happiness she owes to Yang. She cherishes her bond with Ruby and Weiss, of course - and Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, Nora, Sun, Neptune, Velvet… she’s met so many new friends, in so little time. But Yang is… well, she’s her partner, right? So that makes her different. Not more important, necessarily, just… different.
(She keeps feeling like she’s on the verge of a realization, these days, like something crucial is hovering at the edge of her awareness, and all it would take is the slightest push for her to grasp it.)
Blake swallows her last gulp of water, lost in thoughts, glancing at Yang absent-mindedly, and suddenly finds herself staring. Yang is busy wiping her face with the front of her tank top, and Blake can’t look away from the hard, flat plane of her lower stomach, the way her bare skin glistens with sweat, the sharp jut of her hipbones. She swallows again, hard. Her heartbeat quickens, though she’s no longer running, and when Yang looks up and notices her watching, Blake’s cheeks grow so hot she instinctively presses the cold bottle against her skin, in an attempt to cool off.
“You okay there, Belladonna?” Yang says, with a small knowing smirk that does nothing to help Blake’s flustered state.
“Fine,” she manages. The word comes out annoyingly strangled and Weiss narrows her eyes, frowning with something close to irritation, though by now Blake’s learned it usually covers genuine care.
“You do look weird. Are you coming down with something? Please stay away from me, I can’t afford to be sick this semester.”
“Guys. I’m fine.” This time Blake’s voice sounds firm, and Weiss visibly relents. Yang must take pity on her as well, because she doesn’t say anything else, instead pulling her hair up in a messy bun. Blake decidedly avoids looking at Yang’s arms. She’s embarrassed herself enough as it is.
Ruby claps her hands, bringing them back to the task. “Okay guys, rest is over. Next is hand-to-hand combat. Yang, you’re in charge, since you’re the best at it!”
Yang makes a fist, and slams it forcefully against the palm of her other hand. Weiss rolls her eyes at the display but gets up nonetheless, stretching her arms high above her head. “At least don’t blast your terrible pop music this time, Yang. Let us have peace and quiet while we suffer.”
“Whatever. You can pretend you hate my taste in music all you want, Ice Queen, but you’re the one I caught singing in the shower to…”
“Are we training or having a chat?” Weiss cuts her off, a murderous glint in her eyes, ears a little pink. Blake and Ruby exchange an amused glance, and Yang snorts, but lets it go.
They start with some stretching, then Yang has them repeating precise series of jabs and punches and kicks. The sun is now high in the sky, and it’s a beautiful, clear morning. They’ve chosen the isolated corner of a remote courtyard, far from the main part of campus, so no one bothers them. Which is for the best: unarmed hand-to-hand combat isn’t really Blake’s thing, and she needs all her concentration to mimic Yang’s movements. She’s doing better than Ruby and Weiss, but still, Yang often has to correct her stance, light hands pressing on her hips to get her to turn, or moving her arms to a different position.
It’s casual, practical, professional even, Blake knows it, and yet. And yet. She could swear every touch from Yang leaves a trace on her skin, a handprint, and her nerves flare like kindling catching fire. She’s just not used to being touched like that, Blake reasons, ignoring the craving in the bottom of her stomach. So what, if she’s starved for the kind of easy, affectionate closeness that comes with Yang’s friendship? It’s been a while, that’s all. It doesn’t mean anything.
The unexpected sting on the back of her thigh, just below her ass, makes her jump. Yang just gave her a smack, she realizes belatedly, not hard enough to really hurt, but certainly enough to get her attention. “Focus,” she scolds Blake, not unkindly. The hint of playful warning in her tone is somehow as distracting as her touch, and it takes all of Blake’s self-control to push down the sudden wave of vague yearning, teeth clenched.
Yang is right, she needs to focus, this is ridiculous. The tournament is tomorrow. She exhales through her nose, inhales deeply, and starts over.
“Great job,” Yang praises them eventually, when she deems that the practice has gone for long enough. “Now, let’s do some sparring. Partner up! The lightweights together,” she adds, pointing at Weiss and Ruby, who both hilariously make the exact same grumpy face, before turning towards Blake. “Don’t worry, I’ll go easy on you.”
“You don’t have to,” Blake replies, mildly offended, before she can think better of it. “I can hold my own.”
Yang laughs. “Oh, we’re feeling confident today, huh? Alright. Belladonna. Let’s see what you got.”
Weiss sniggers at Blake, but promptly cuts it out when Ruby tackles her to the ground. “What the hell, Ruby?” she yelps. “Yang didn’t give us the signal!”
“In a real combat situation, nobody will be there to give you the green light,” Yang ponders, sagely, in a remarkable impression of Professor Port. “You always have to be ready to react!”
“I have been in real combat situations, thanks!” Weiss spits out, trying to no avail to dislodge Ruby from her back.
Blake bites the inside of her cheeks to stop herself from laughing at theirs antics and, seeing Yang distracted, takes a chance. She swings her left leg low, hoping to catch Yang’s ankles and make her fall. Yang jumps out of the way before Blake can even touch her, and grins, cocky.
“Nice try.”
Blake leaps, changing tactics, kicking high at Yang’s head with her right leg this time. Yang deflects the hit with a steady arm, and sends a curved left hook Blake’s way. Her knuckles graze Blake’s shoulder but she manages to dodge the brunt of it.
“Good,” Yang says. She raises both fists protectively in front of her face, and motions for Blake to come at her. “Try again.”
So Blake does. She throws kicks and punches, elbows and knees, and a few connect with Yang, but most of Blake’s efforts she evades, easily. It’s mesmerizing, watching Yang fight and turn and deflect and attack, feet light on the ground. Her body moves almost effortlessly, each of her hits powerful and precise. Blake’s eyes follow the ripple of muscles underneath Yang’s skin, fascinated by the strength and the control, and the beauty of it. Of her.
This time when Yang smacks her again, it’s right across Blake’s ass, and her hand lands much harder. Blake can’t help a little gasp, mouth opening in shock. It stings, but the sensation sends unexpected sparks down her lower stomach, and Blake really doesn’t know what to do with that.
“You’re still not focusing,” Yang says, raising an eyebrow, as if daring Blake to protest. Blake closes her mouth, cheeks burning. What is up with her today? She’s never been so distracted before. (She’s never been so distracted by Yang.) There’s something tugging, pulling, inside her chest, like a buried truth trying to burst through, but Blake’s too afraid to let it out. It’s dangerous, she knows, from experience, to look too closely at one’s heart.
Yang’s eyes soften, and she drops her guard, looking at Blake with caution. “Are you doing okay?” She takes a step forward, and hesitates, before placing her hand on Blake’s shoulder, very gently. “Are you stressed out about the tournament? Is something else on your mind? You can talk to me, you know.”
“I’m sorry,” Blake murmurs. There’s that feeling again, like she’s missing something important, something she should know. She grabs Yang’s hand in her own, and squeezes her fingers. “Thank you.”
Yang’s thumb brushes the back of her hand, tracing light circles on her skin. “What’s going on?” she asks, her voice low and serious. Then she smiles, lightening the mood. “Why are you being such a handful, Belladonna?”
Blake huffs, smiling despite herself. “I have no idea. Maybe you’re right, and I’m just anxious about the tournament tomorrow? I’m not sure. Sorry I’m being the worst partner,” she adds with a small apologetic shrug.
Yang shakes her head, and advances on her so fast there’s nothing Blake can do before she’s engulfed in Yang’s arms. It reminds her of an empty classroom, and another hug that took her by surprise. Sighing, she rests her hands around Yang’s strong back, and presses her forehead against Yang’s shoulder. Yang smells like sweat now, and coffee, still, underneath, and the laundry detergent they use at Beacon. Familiar and safe, inexplicably so.
“You could never be the worst partner, Blake,” Yang murmurs in her hair. “There’s nothing you could do that would make me think that.”
Blake nods, and tightens her hold around Yang’s waist, and, like a fool, believes her.

The criticisms of bumbleby and other ships are so immature and hypocritical
Hello dear followers of RWBY here a new review and before I start I must say that I love the videos of criticism (but everything has a limit) I always tolerate the videos Anti Bumbleby with their bad arguments ... but the video of this girl if It is very silly
Tumblr media
It is incredible that she criticizes most of the ships (Renora-Arkos.Whiterose) but says that Ruby and Oscar have a "slow development" in their future romance and of course praises the Blakensun (you know, I will not bother to put all the Bumbleby moments because with a few it is easy to refute their statements)
Vol 1
"From Vol 1 they were pushing the Blakesun" which is ridiculous.
In the First Volume only have time on screen in the 2 final chapters and the worst is that it was more action than anything else to top Sun has winking at Blake there was nothing "romance"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Volume 2 she says "Blake went to the dance with Sun" but she forgets to mention that Sun thinks the best thing about Blake is that "she is a faun" which is an idea that Blake rejects because she wants to be valued by her not by his race.
Tumblr media
Now she also forgets to say that Yang was the one who revealed something of his past to Blake because she wanted her to be less stressed besides feeling that she could share those things with her. Reason? simply because it's Blake.
Tumblr media
I mean seriously. What's with the Sun and Blake dance? relatively nothing, not even spent a lot of time and to top Blake I dedicate a loving look to Yang in the middle of the dance ... mentioning that Yang was left without a partner "For some reason"
Tumblr media
something that should be emphasized is that the series always focuses that Sun does not understand Blake and that really is the reason why the two were incompatible as a couple (not to mention that many events in Blake's life made this difficult)
Tumblr media
The worst thing is that after that there was nothing between Sun and Blake ... I mean nothing in that volume after the Dance.
The worst part is that the end of Vol 2 is where the most important connections of our protagonists are established. Is this Sun there with Blake? In case you do not know, I'll tell you that it's not
Tumblr media
Vol 3 we only have the scene of Sun making Blake blush ... but then (Nothing). What did they connect? When was it more than a little game of teenagers?
Tumblr media
Worst of all, she ignores the fact that the narrative could have written at any time that the conflict with Adam was with Sun but they did not ... in fact, Sun was there and they completely ignored him.
Tumblr media
literally the moment between Adam-Blake-Yang was so devastating to her that they even used the same environment as in Trailer Black as a symbolism
I mean what more obvious can be those who would be important in Blake narrative?
Tumblr media
The worst thing is that the last thing we see about Sun and Blake was seeing how Blake clings to Yang, showing a thousand times more emotion than when he is with him and in addition to a real link
Tumblr media
Vol 4
she considers that the moment of Sun and her parents is "a sign of romance"
Tumblr media
something remarkable is that even in the opening 4 of rwby showed how Blake did not feel comfortable with Sun and what he missed most was Yang (but she does not point it out)
Tumblr media
What seems to ignore in the Vol 4 is that Sun and Blake only spoke for 10 minutes and there really were no indications of "romance" rather the opposite ... his presence bothered her, in fact what bothered her the most was that Sun did not I understood for nothing
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
it's not to offend but if that is the "developed romance" your argument to attack the Bumbleby is very stupid
Then she points out that Blake told Sun "my hero" but she forgets that is not in romantic context  ... in fact, 1 minute ago Sun told him that he would do it again to protect her and "I bet Yang would do the same" Why would he say something like that? Above all Blake's reaction was very revealing ... I mean that girl who made the video without offending is talking stupid shit
Tumblr media
In Vol 5 Sun and Blake literally did not have any "Moment" to connect ... the harsh reality is that when Sun met Adam(he does not give a shit)
how it made me angry that she said "I wish there was a base for the Bumbleby" when she literally ignored all the problems in the Blakesun narrative and that obviously they were not going to be canon
Tumblr media
In fact in this volume one of the strongest moments is when a parallel is made between Yang admitting that she needs her more than anyone else and the confession of Ilia "feelings" towards Blake. How are people blind?
Tumblr media
They even made the TaiRaven parallel where their father is looking at the melancholic photo thinking of Raven and of course Yang taking the picture thinking of Blake, I mean WTF  How the fuck did the girl in the video say nothing?
Tumblr media
then she tries to demean the moment between the meeting of Yang and Blake which to top it off was much more emotional than any scene with Sun in that volume
Tumblr media
The parallels with other couples are fucking obvious. Is it so weird that the events that Yang and Blake lived caused them to develop feelings for each other?
Tumblr media
Not to mention that she forgets to put the Soundracks that are a fundamental part to express the feelings of the characters.
Not even I put the last Bumbleby Soundrack that came out in Vol 6 (nor the BB because it did not appear in the series)
Tumblr media
The end of the Blakesun
Her final complaint is that according to her "they discarded the Blakesun from nothing" when literally in all her video she "forgot" to mention all the mistakes that Blakesun has had since Vol 1
How would someone call "flirting" their interactions in Vol 4 and 5?
I mean literally it was the opposite here the problems of ship Blakesun were addressed in the first 3 volumes (lack of narrative importance, lack of understanding) in fact these 2 volumes were developed as friends.
That's why the moment of Sun and Blake in Vol 6 was the conclusion of a new friendship (because before Sun was just the guy who wanted to be with Blake was not even his friend) but now they separated as friends
Tumblr media
Blake and Yang in the Vol 6
Volume 6 certainly improved a lot compared to what was seen in Vol 5 with regard to the development of the series in general ... but one of the things that only continues what Vol 4 and 5 raised was the development of the link of Yang and Blake.
One of the things that the Blakesun  fandom refuses to accept is that the separation caused their link to increase rather than diminish it ... with Yang this is evident as they saw on the top and that's what people can easily accept if they explain it ... but with Blake this also happened, in his time with his parents and Sun something that Blake realized is that he misses his team ... but especially to Yang and deny this is stupid
Yang, despite having accepted Blake, still feels that anger towards her because she left and does not want to feel like she felt again, so she does not want to be close to her ... which contrasts with his dynamic in the first volumes , here is Blake who tries to get his attention at all times, looks at her all the time and wants to be alone with her.
Many have said that Yang has been "unfair" with Blake ... but this is understandable since Blake is someone "very special" to Yang and this hurt her more than anyone ... but obviously this does not show in front of Ruby or Weiss because that matter is her and no one else.
Tumblr media
What causes me a lot of laughter is how Blake for the first time since Adam is nervous and trying to connect with someone in particular because if they check their relationships: (Sun seeks her, Ilia seeks her, Yang is the one who seeks her).
This is not only because of "guilt" but because she really misses her and again Blake does not feel this with Ruby, does not feel this Weiss and does not feel that with Sun. Now do you understand what kind of development they are giving you? you have to know when the narrative makes a distinction.
These emotions were not felt by Sun and that is evident, what makes me laugh at that situation is that the distance made him see who was the person who most missed
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The girl and many who are against the couple argue "Is that Blake only thinks that Yang can not take care of itself" this is not only false, but stupid Do you remember that Blake defines Yang as someone strong? in fact that's why he associates her with Adam in volume 3. Do you remember that in chapter 1 of that volume both fight together without problems?
Tumblr media
When Blake told her that "I would protect her" it's not because she thinks that she does not believe in her, but that she does not want to see her hurt again and much less for Adam, he just wanted to comfort her and connect with her ... literally this scene is equal to other ship "hetero" that nobody argues for being "Hetero"
Tumblr media
even in this volume we have the parelism with the account of the beauty and the beast (which was indicated from the Soundrack)
Tumblr media
I could explain almost all the development of Vol 6, but why bother? It is so evident the parallel they did with Renora and other ship that denying it is very silly.
How does anyone in the Bumbleby fandom respond to such a stupid video? if I knew how to make YouTube videos (I would do it) ... but I'm surprised they get trampled by guys and girls who make this videos of hate
In case you have not noticed (Many animes have worse matches and nobody says a shit ... but since these are "lesbians or bisexuals" the fandom say "I only want a good story, Bumbleby ruined" when that is a lie so little credible
Tumblr media
Conclusion
is a very stupid video, not to mention that he also forgets the Anthologys and the official manga that gives so many Bumbleby moments instead of Blakesun (which is weird considering that "everything indicated Blakesun) I hate to say it, but what a ridiculous girl
Tumblr media
in fact part that made me make this review was not to defend the Bumbleby but how can someone be so shameless to say that the Rosagarden has development and not the Whiterose or Bumbleby or other ship? I mean, that's ridiculous
I mean the development of Ruby and Weiss was so much that even in the opening they focused on it, without mentioning that they are the longest dynamics of the series and that the creator himself shipped them ( this ship is a Japanese yuri cliche)
Tumblr media
But if that is not enough the official RWBY manga published in the shonen (which has more narrative importance, develops them with romantic touches) so literally that girl's video is too silly
Tumblr media
So my advice for the fandom is that they do not listen to everything that someone on YouTube says and my advice for the fandom Bumbleby and Whiterose is to defend themselves from these stupid things that the Haters do and remember (Mounty liked the Whiterose) and his concept of introducing LGBT characters fits perfectly with what is happening now in the show.

Note
rwby & hwbf5
RWBY
Favorite character: Yang Xiao Long, no hesitation.
Second favorite character: Ruby Rose. this was a little harder to choose but I feel like Ruby is the best embodiment of why RWBY means so much to me, which is best summed up with a line she had back in v1 her conversation with blake in shining beacon pt 2 really struck a chord with me blake: the world isn’t the same as a fairy tale Ruby: well that’s why we’re here, to make it better
Least favorite character: this is actually hard to answer just bc the first answers that come to mind I am now at a point where I’m able to step back and say the writers have improved drastically, and if they were to rewrite v1 now, every issue I have with them would probably be a non issue (Jaune Arc and Sun Wukong). like I feel like my big issues with them were in how they were written not in what they were, which arguably how they were written is how they are, but before rwby they were known for a show where they dub over halo for the animation and let’s plays, they’re not the monopoly that is Disney, and because they have improved in writing and this show means so much to me, I’m willing to give them some leniency.
now that I’ve given a large paragraph on why it’s not those 2 I’m gonna say Taiyang Xiao Long, I project on to Yang a lot, and he reminds me of my dad a lot, so a lot of my issues with my dad get thrown onto those 2.
The character I’m most like: Did I mention the reason Yang is so unshakable as my fav is that I relate/project onto her a huge amount?
Favorite pairing: Bumbleby; Yang and Blake. I’m very picky about romance stuff, but this pairing means a lot to me. it’s the first queer rep I’ve found that I didn’t go looking for/know about going in, it found me. I’ve been following rwby since it was just the trailers, while I haven’t always been active in the fndm I’ve been here long enough I remember the first discourse where some people had their expectations shattered when it turned out to be a school anime (for the first few volumes at least). That would have been 9th grade for me, and the slow realization that hey this is happening hit me like a train over and over again bc I just couldn’t really believe it at first.
Least favorite pairing: there’s a lot I could say here, there are so many ships in rwby, most of them mediocre, some of them straight up bad (abusive, tauradonna, whatever the shipname for cinder/emerald is). but I’m gonna go straight for an unpopular opinion, Renora is the epitome of a comp het, they remind me of my first boyfriend before I realized I was somewhere on the aro spectrum. as of right now the only time I actually like it is when it’s poly with Jaune (and Pyrrha). It wouldn’t bother me that much but it’s so prevalent. Like maybe I should be grateful they’re not giving us any of the other painfully straight ships, white knight, blacksun, Ruby/Jaune, but even those aren’t as bad (to me personally and my tastes) bc they don’t look like they’re going to be canon, so it’s just ship and let ship, but renora as of right now just reminds me too much of we’ve been best friends forever and “he was a boy, she was a girl, can I make it anymore obvious.”
like if anyone reading ships it all the power to you, as long as you’re not shitting on other ships or seriously shipping something abusive I don’t care that much, I’m just very picky with romance and renora hits a lot of boxes that tic me off
Favorite moment: The talk with Yang and Raven in the Vault under Haven. Listen I chose my name, so my name’s meaning has a lot of meaning to me, The root Val, it’s the same root as valor, means strength (also worth but that’s secondary, or at least secondary in my choosing Valen) hearing Yang tell her mother she doesn’t know the first thing about strength. “yeah I’m scared. but I’m still standing here.” it means a lot to me.
Rating out of 10: 100
I’ve been here since the beginning to watch RWBY grow and improve, it’s shown itself to have staying power in my heart, and from v1 it’s “thematic goal” is one I try to live by (shown in Ruby and Blake’s talk in v1e3 shining beacon pt 2) and the world building really sticks with me, love me fantasy super powers and magic.
Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5
Favorite character: Tezz Volitov. he’s weird to describe bc normally his character archtype annoys me, but it’s different with him. he’s an arrogant asshole but he’s my arrogant asshole.
Second favorite character: Agura Ibaden
Least favorite character: Grimmian. he just annoys me. he’s nothing without Krytus backing him up, and while we don’t know what he was doing before he tried (and failed bc he’s not good at fighting, driving, or scheming without krytus) to take over the Vandals, but he should’ve stayed there. Grimmian is a pawn with nothing that holds my interest. Kalus kept Grimmian around bc Grimmian was necessary for the plot(not really tho they could’ve given us the vandals falling apart and turning against themselves with one of the characters we already had who had expressed interest in taking lead). Oh my god he’s Starscream if Starscream were incompetent. except starscream doesn’t need a patron that hates and plans to dispose of him when he’s no longer useful in order to try to take power. he’s never successful but at least he tries on his own. As far as we know Grimmian had no ambition without Krytus manipulating him.
The character I’m most like: This is harder to answer than for rwby, but then again rwby has the character I relate/project onto the most out of any thing. Probably Agura or Tezz, there’s a reason those 2 are my favorites after all.
Favorite pairing: I know my rwby opinions didn’t show this but I’m not much of a shipper, one of the things I like about this show is there isn’t much unnecessary romance. If I had to say I guess Sherman and Tezz. Pair the brains together.
Least favorite pairing: Agura and Stanford. it’s the stereotypical guy and girl fighting so that means they’re in love. like the show doesn’t make that a thing, but I know if hwbf5 were more popular the fanbase would’ve. oh and Zoom and Vert (well zoom and anybody) “there’s no canon ages!” yeah sure but I can still watch the group interactions and how they treat each other and be uncomfy about it if I wanna.
Favorite moment: every time Tezz is on screen. Tezz’s introduction “I am the rebel army” all of the lord of the kharamanos episode. actually now that I’m thinking about it that episode is probably what sets tezz apart from his normal archetype for me.
Rating out of 10: this is my comfort show of all comfort shows, I have no joke, it exceeds any rating system. Oh I’m having a bad time and terribly anxiety ridden? no I’m not cause it’s hot wheels time.
That’s a lot of words I hope that’s what you wanted!! thanks for the ask!!
