any advice for athletes afraid of getting out of shape but wanting to explore getting softer

you said u were fit once, what was your experience? do you regret it?

Keep working out but eat more and stretch lots and see how you feel! Even though I'm pretty out of shape now I still stretch a lot and I have an active job so even if I can't run a mile without stopping I can still move heavy boxes and touch my toes and all that stuff - and I'm sure if I put in literally any amount of effort I'd be able to be more in shape 😅 I definitely have moments of missing my athletic days but I don't think I actively regret gaining weight. The cool thing is that you can try gaining a bit and see how you like it and re-evaluate from there! You can always lose it if you hate it but you can always gain more if you love it. Maybe just start by indulging a bit and see where that takes you? 🥰

There’s absolutely no reason why the writers on The Winchesters couldn’t have Dean and Cas in for a run of episode where they’re sent back (or purposefully go back) in time to the current Winchesters timeline, and finally give fans the destiel kiss they’ve been waiting for.

And it doesn’t even have to impact the original Supernatural timeline. It can be one of those “Dean won’t remember when they get back to their own timeline” things. But Cas will remember. Cas will never forget, and it softens the blow when Cas says “I love you, Dean,” and then definitely doesn’t get disappeared forever.

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

I just reblogged something that made me stop and think. It talked about how you should never consider anything you've written to be trash because the purpose of writing is to have fun with it. Too often, I think this simple truth gets left in the dust. "Did I enjoy writing the story?" Ask yourself that question, and if the answer is yes, then congratulations, you have written successfully. I acknowledge this doesn't pertain to professional writers in any capacity, but they are getting paid for writing. Unless someone is giving you money for your work, their opinion does not matter. Even if we , as creators, want people to like the things we share, it should never be the deciding factor in regard to the creative value of the work. If you love the story and it makes you happy, then it has served its purpose. The end.

This is even more important to remember in the realm of fanfiction. Brace yourselves because there might be people who dislike the words I'm about to string together...

Quit taking it all so seriously. People have the right to write what they want. Leave them be.

Whether it's a ship you dislike, an AU that doesn't fit your vision, or a "Mary Sue" OC, it's not hurting you. I promise. You're not required to read it. Click away and find something else. Better yet, write what you want to read. The power is yours. 😏😂

If you disagree, that's perfectly fine. You're entitled to your opinion. I don't think any less of you because of it, but your opinion does not diminish the opinion of others. If an opinion is not harming anyone or impacting their human rights, it is valid. The issue is when you decide your opinion overrides the opinions of others and behave like an ass. Disagreeing with something or disliking it is acceptable. Tearing into someone and insulting them because of it is not.

Writing is meant to be fun. Let the fans enjoy their fandoms. 💙
