Welcome twt immigrants or just newcomers o///
Every week a new wave of twt refugees arrive and so I decided to put together a tumblr 101 to keep ur experience the most stress free and safe as possible
So here it goes:
You can delete comments or plain out disable comments from your posts! So much control.
You can also edit your posts. It even was a meme back on the olden days where a post would go viral and then the op (original poster) would change the post to something silly and the reblogers would look like wierdos or dumdums lol
You can disable your asks or make a rule so people can't ask as anonymous
Report spams!! You can even get rewarded for it. But, even so, report it, they get immediately taken down temporarily
The report system work and the tumblr team is very responsible when investigating an account/post. It's not nuance and easy to make. No one will judge you for it, in fact, it's common culture to do so. It's how we battle pornbots, spams, hate blogs etc.
You have full control of your blog! What people can see, what it can show, block hashtags and the whole shbang.
The algorithm works! Only the things that YOU search for and like will be recommended to you. And if something u no longer has interest in shows up? Just click that u don't want anymore and immediately everything u don't want goes away.
There are many famous blogs that are fun to follow, specifically as newcomer, to really get u on the tumblr experience such as: heritageposts, thebootydiaries, hotboyproblems, showerthoughtsofficial, fartgallery, haikubotofficial and many others. These are just the ones I followed when first arrived back in 2016;
Yes, there are celebrities among us but they're just... here. Vibing, chilling. The most famous ones being Neil Gaiman and Taylor Swift. Here they are just people;
You might have noticed a lot of blogs with blue verification badges. Some with 20 of them. Some are rainbow! That's because Tumblr made a parody of the verification mark from twt and it was fcking hilarius. We loved it so much that it's a thing now. U too can feel very important if u want!
It's worth going the trending tags. Sometimes they are broken, but it's mostly memes or important world news stuff that are actually relevant and helpful. It's safe and you'll have a fun time lurking on other people's fandoms. That's actually how I got into some of my fandoms to begin with;
Crabs.
And there we have it! I might have forgotten something, but I not too worried as I know that people might add it later on. 😉
Welcome welcome!! You'll be safe here. No matter who you are you find a community for you here
It's a hellsite, but it's our hellsite
Remembered something:
It's important to have a profile picture and header image. An reblog a few things before following anyone. Or you will be reported because people will think you're a spam bot kkkkkkkkk so do nurture your blog a little bit before venturing into the unknown.

I firmly believe Stannis is the Westerosi equivalent of the dad who hates cats, doesn't want to get a cat, makes a big deal about not liking the cat, and ends up being the cat's absolute favorite (except instead of a cat it's a huge fuckoff direwolf with boundary issues)
x
The door to the workroom opened and Ghost bounded inside, snuffling at Stannis's hands. Lady Stark, following behind, narrowed her eyes at him as she closed the door.
"You fed him something recently, didn't you?" she said. Ghost, finding nothing, gave a disapproving huff and flopped down by the fireplace.
He had, but that was besides the point. "What are the Knights of the Vale doing here?"
"Just don't give him chicken, we had a terrible problem with the henhouses when they were puppies," she said absently, and circled round to sit at her chair on the far side of the work table. "I brought them here for you."
Stannis, still standing, paused. "For me?"
"Yes, for you. I can't bend the knee, Your Grace. Not yet. But I'm not entirely useless."
"Of all the adjectives I've thought to describe you with, 'useless' has never been one of them."
She smiled at that and looked down at the papers strewn across the table. "Littlefinger — Lord Baelish," she corrected, "had plans for the North. Marrying my Aunt Lysa and becoming Lord Protector of the Vale wasn't enough for him; he wanted more."
"How much more?" Stannis asked as he took his seat again. He was already well able to guess the answer.
"Everything," she answered, a distant look in her eye that Stannis did not like. "He wanted to marry me off to the Boltons. I think the plan was for you you to come sweeping down from the Wall and either take Winterfell or kill out enough of the Bolton forces to weaken them. At which point Littlefinger could come riding to my rescue with the Knights of the Vale. He'd have a ward at the Vale who looked to him for approval, and a new Lady of Winterfell who'd be grateful to him for saving her from monsters twice over." She nodded at his moue of distaste. "Yes, well, he always did consider me one of his cyvasse pieces, to be moved around the board as needed."
Stannis had avoided Baelish at King's Landing, insofar as he could while both of them served on Robert's Small Council. But he well remembered how Baelish spoke of women, how effortlessly he used them and used them up. What damage had he inflicted on a young, friendless girl while he'd had her in his custody? No wonder Lady Stark had fled from him at the first chance of escape.
If that's what had truly happened. The story from the Riverlands was that Baelish had been killed by his own men, and there was no reason to doubt it — such a treacherous man would have succumbed to treachery sooner or later. But Lady Stark had proven herself capable of surprising things, these past months.
It didn't bear thinking of too closely. He cleared his throat. "The Vale, the North — if Baelish wanted the Iron Throne, he'd have needed more than two kingdoms at his command."
"The Riverlands probably would have been next," said Lady Stark with a frown. She pawed through the papers and pulled out a book. "I've been going through the maester accounts, such as they are, from the time my father left Winterfell until now," she said, flipping through it. "There are gaps, obviously, but Maester Wolkan's been keeping remarkably faithful records. Including copies of every raven scroll." She passed the book over to him, tapping at a particular passage. "This was sent to Roose Bolton from the Twins, only a few days before we began the siege."
"'The Blackfish traitor has stolen Riverrun from us. In the name of fellowship among the new Lord Paramounts and the victors over House Stark, we ask for your aid in catching this damned fish and roasting him on a spit.'" Stannis set the book back on the table with the peculiar urge to wipe his hands clean. "Walder Frey was always a craven. Wanting everyone else to fight his battles for him."
"He didn't even have the courage to murder my brother himself," said Lady Stark, taking back the book and closing it with a snap. "Though I've been told it was his son who murdered my mother. A great warrior family, clearly. Plus he doesn't know it's 'Lords Paramount' and not 'Lord Paramounts.'"
Stannis had seen flares of temper from Lady Stark before (on any number of occasions), but the icy rage in her voice gave him pause. Not for the first time, he considered how very merciful she had been with him, in the end. A man responsible for his own brother's murder, when she herself had lost her brother to the very basest of treachery — what might she have done to him, if he'd been anyone other than the rightful king?
Even as he wondered, he knew that his titles had not been what had stayed her hand in judgement. The Starks had never been particularly pragmatic, mostly to disastrous ends, and for all her intelligence Sansa seemed to have inherited a fair helping of the Tully pig-headedness on top of the Stark romanticism. King Stannis would have had no better luck against her judgement than Lord Stannis or Ser Stannis or even Goodman Stannis; it had been for some other reason she had spared him. He wondered when the bill would come due, and if it would ever be in his capacity to pay it.
Lady Stark had continued on. "I haven't found any record of a message sent back to the Twins, but I doubt the Boltons sent one. Lord Bolton were never much for rousing himself for anyone else's interests, even before he betrayed my family. I sent a raven to House Mallister of Seaguard; he sided with Robb during the war, and the Mallisters have always been loyal to House Tully." This time she handed over a scroll, flattened out but still curling slightly at each end.
It was only a bit longer than Walder Frey's, and about as useful. Blackfish holds fast; they have supplies within to last two years or more, and the siege set by the Freys will not last half a season. Brynden has not called the banners of the Riverlands, for Lord Tully is still hostage to the Freys. But if Lady Stark should call, Mallister will answer.
"'If Lady Stark should call,'" he repeated wryly.
"Lord Mallister bounced my mother on his knee when she was a babe, Your Grace," she said, equally wry. "All the oaths of fealty in the world can't replace the bonds of family and friendship between the northern Houses, even those not in the North itself."
"So I am beginning to understand," he said, handing the scroll back. "So the Twins are undefended at present."
"Most likely — Lord Frey is still there, but the bulk of his army will be at Riverrun." She leaned forward. "I've spoken with Lord Royce; he swears to me that Lord Arryn will bend the knee if you lead the Knights of the Vale and your own army and take the Twins. From there, you'll be able to break the Frey's siege at Riverrun — you'll have both the Vale and the Riverlands in a matter of months."
It was a fine strategy, but Stannis couldn't help but feel vaguely offended by it. "Do you mean to tell me that because you refuse to bend the knee, or promise any of your own army to my cause, you've delivered the Knights of the Vale and a promise of House Arryn's fealty as a...consolation prize?"
Lady Stark shrugged. "I suppose so," she admitted. "But a prize, nonetheless. I've only known Lord Royce since I was a guest at the Eyrie, but he seems an honorable man."
"He's an able commander, which is more to the point," Stannis contradicted absently, frowning down at the desk as he mulled it over. Two thousand men was no very great sum — but the Knights of the Vale were one of the best cavalry forces in the kingdoms, for all that they rarely strayed outside their mountains. With the Knights, Stannis's army could divide and take each half of the Twins in a pincer. It would be over nearly before it began.
"Of course, how foolish of me to consider such petty things as honor," grumbled Lady Stark.
Stannis ignored that. "Which leaves the Iron Islands to deal with. Has Lord Greyjoy sent any word?" Even the honorific stuck in his craw. Balon Greyjoy, the only other "king" to survive the war. Stannis had regretted the man's existence ever since the Greyjoy Rebellion.
Lady Stark shook her head. "Nothing. We've beaten back the last of the Ironborn holdouts, but I doubt they'll begrudge us that. My father always said the iron price never spent well. And they rightly blame the Boltons for whatever might have happened to Theon."
Which was still a mystery, so far as Stannis could tell. Theon Greyjoy had not been found among the dead at Winterfell, nor at the Dreadfort. If he'd escaped, there'd been no sightings reported. "No doubt you'll wish to execute him yourself, if he's found, but it would be better—"
"Execute Theon?" she said, her brow furrowing. "I — no. I don't wish that."
He leaned back in his seat. "You surprise me, my lady. I wouldn't have thought you squeamish after all this time." Perhaps that was his answer: she'd spared himself and Lady Brienne not out of principle but cowardice. In a way, it might be a relief: or at least it would be easier to understand.
She looked away. "Father did always say that whoever passes the sentence should swing the sword."
"That's not an answer. Your kindness does you credit, my lady, but if you show too much your people won't fear you. Which means they won't follow you, when the time comes." He'd said the same thing to her brother, more than a year ago when they'd argued over the fate of the wildlings and the drawbacks of mercy. The Lord Commander hadn't heeded the advice; was it a Stark family failing?
It must be, for Lady Stark sighed in frustration and said, "I don't want to be feared, Your Grace. And though you've failed to notice, I'm in no need of anyone following me anywhere. I'm staying—" She broke off and shook her head. "This always happens," she muttered, an odd smile tugging at her mouth.
He frowned. "What always happens?"
"This," she said, gesturing vaguely at the distance between them. "We can't go five minutes without arguing about something."
"That's not true." She sighed again and he reconsidered. "Perhaps if you didn't contradict everything I said."
"Perhaps if you had sisters, growing up," she countered. "My mother always said Arya and I were more trouble than all five of the boys put together." Her expression darkened and Stannis followed her thoughts — Theon had been one of those five boys. Raised alongside the rest of them, within these very walls.
"I thought you would want him dead," he admitted. "More than anyone else in the North."
She got to her feet and went over to the window, resting her arms on the sill as she looked out onto the courtyard. Stannis rose and joined her: down below were a dozen carts piled high with hay. All around them men and women were busy unloading the bales and stacking them up in a corner, where more workers took them away in a brisk line deeper into the Keep. Each cart was in the courtyard only a few minutes; when it was empty, the driver mounted up again and drove slowly out through the great gates, replaced by another cart yet more heavily laden. Supplies from the Northern Houses, to lay in for the oncoming winter.
"I don't want Theon dead," said Lady Stark after a long while observing in silence. He glanced over to her, but she was still looking down at the carts. "I don't want anyone dead, Stannis — there's been so much death. And more coming, if what Jon told you about the White Walkers is true."
She'd never called him by his name before; indeed she didn't seem aware she'd done it. "I believed him," he replied. "I still do. Your brother didn't seem the sort to make up stories."
"He always was honest to a fault," she said, turning to look at him at last. Her blue eyes were bright — tears, unshed. "I wish he'd come with you."
So did he, he realized. Not for his skill in battle or his perception or bravery: but only so his sister would not look so devastated at his loss. "He took an oath to the Night's Watch," he said, cursing at himself for his clumsy words even as he did so.
"I know that," she huffed. "Five minutes without arguing, is that really so difficult?"
"Evidently," he conceded, and she laughed. A watery sound, and she pressed the heels of her hand to her eyes quickly as she turned back toward the table, but laughter nonetheless.

WIBTA if I ask the people in the apartment below me to quiet down? (😌 to recognize it)
I (25F) live alone on the third (top) floor of a large apartment building in a residential area of a small city. The people in the apartment below me have 4 people (three adults and a 2-4? year old child) living in a two bedroom apartments. The walls aren’t super thick (for example, i can hear vacuum cleaners regularly). The family below me regularly blasts music (as I’m typing this i can hear the Moana soundtrack playing. Clearly enough for me to sing along), throws basketballs and other toys, lets their child sprint around the apartment etc. It literally will shake the walls of my apartment for approximately an hour a night or so. This doesn’t get into the times where their child screams while being forced to take a bath, etc. I have sensory issues, and, as you can imagine, sometimes have difficulty sleeping or relaxing from this. We have never interacted before but they moved in a few weeks after me so I saw them moving in which is how I know the family make up. WIBTA for knocking on their door and asking them to quiet down?
Reasons I might be the asshole: I understand that living is noisy, and I’m not trying to police what they do, especially in their own home. Additionally, i do have a vibrator i use about 30 mins most nights (sometimes longer) and tho i try to be quiet with positioning and modes and reactions and all, i don’t know for certain that they can’t hear me. I know if someone asked me to quiet down while I was masturbating I would die of embarrassment, and am worried that we’ve kind of come to silent agreement that we don’t ask the other person to quiet down, and don’t want to ruin that bc i don’t want to stop using my vibrator lmao.
(You’re Welcome from Moana has been playing for approximately 30 mins on repeat. I don’t want to be an asshole but dear lord I don’t want to listen to this song this many times in a row.)
What are these acronyms?

When the s2 trailer dropped you requested that you would welcome some ineffable bureaucracy shippers to freak out with you, and felt the need to freak so I hope it's OK.
But just I cannot be normal about them after that sneak peak, I was was starting to doubt our chances of anything meaningful but...WHY SO MUCH FOCUS ON THE FLY,HUH NIEL???!! WHY ONLY SHOW THE FLY BOTHERING GABE AND NOT SAY, I DUNNO, AZ?!! ALMOST LIKE THE FLY ISNT JUST A MINDLESS INSECT. WHY THE LOVE HEART MUG???Like how can we NOT read into that. The 28th feels like so long away.
The uptake in fanfics this season will bring is already getting me hyped.
Of course it'a alright, anon. I've never being normal about Gabriel and Beelzebub so you are more than welcome to freak out with me whenever. And yes I admit I have my shipper googles on most of the time, but there is no way they specifically added a fly bugging Gabriel in that scene for now reason.
Honestly, any interaction between the ineffable bureaucrat will be enough to make me lose it, but if my theory about that fly is right that means Beez will be involved in Gabriel's human conundrum very early on in the season and I'm so excited about that!
Also I think about the heart mug everyday ToT. When Neil Gaiman teasingly said that he never said the romance in s2 was between Azi and Crowley I immediately joked that it would be between Gabriel and Beelzebub... but now I'm not so sure I'm joking anymore ToT

literally just saw some radfem bullshit on my dash, & then when I went to their blog to block them not only was it full of anti-trans half arguments & accusations of other people being childish, but one of the very first posts was about how a certain show would be better if one of the main characters was a young woman instead of an old man because they "don't like old people"
#there is no point to this other than i'm pissed and tired of having terf bullshit pass my dash#i feel like i'm gonna have to get that eye thing because i don't super vet the blogs i interact with casually#so as long as they're not immediately anti queer i usually don't notice#and then i've got fucking radfem shit in my 'based on your likes' feed#all because i interacted with feminism stuff that - without the anti-trans lens - seemed totally fine#& like terfs are already shitty people but i feel like the anti older person sentiment just further highlighted the fact that#terfs are just shitty hypocrytical people who play the 'poor me boo hoo you're all childish' card & act like they're so fucking superior#& that any trans folks are terrible#and then turn around and spout all kinds of bigotry#but it's okay i guess because they've got a vagina <3 (& experience the exact same kind of misogyny that tons of us do but they're special)#ALSO#I learned what 'moid' means and you guys are fucking assholes#men are not just mindless sex freaks you fucking cunts#& the fact that you think that just shows how warped your sense of the world is#you 'hate the patriarchy' but aren't interested in actually dismantling it#how could you when you don't even view half of the people involved as really human!#fuck off#terfs and radfems aren't welcome here and you can all kick rocks#i try my best for this to be a queer friendly space and i want that to be clear right fucking now#if anyone who follows me has bothered to read this please let me know if i've accidentally reblogged something from the 'drop the t' crowd#i am not the golden standard queer or whatever the fuck the term is#but i dont ever want someone to think that i'm part of that crowd

Back to school for the first time since Senate Bill 150 and it's as fucking bad as we said it would, despite reassurances that it won't be anywhere near as restrictive as we crazy transgenders were making it out to be.
I'm in a composition class. The whole point of the class is to format literature to meet certain contexts and audiences. But because it's illegal for a teacher to so much as utter the word "gay" as part of instruction, my teacher has informed us that she will be using a sharpie to black out banned words fascism style in provided text. This woman is an ally. She is pissed as fuck. Of course, she was reassured by the school board that references to the words "woman," "man," "Mr," "Mrs," cishet marriage, and other references to heteronormative gender/sexuality are allowed!! But those... other words aren't. Gay. Lesbian. Bisexual. Trans (man/woman/etc). Queer.
In a class where the goal is to learn about the context of the target audience and an author's reasoning for writing the things they do, this will strip away core pieces of information. For instance, you don't understand even a fraction of the character Jo March in Little Women and why she was written the way she was unless you know that Alcott was actually either a lesbian, transmasculine person, or both, and that Jo was a self-insert. You don't understand why Alcott gave Jo the ending she did unless you understand the (potentially homophobic and) misogynistic pressure of her publishers, an ending she didn't want because of her own experiences shaped by her queer gender/sexuality.
Additionally, teachers are completely barred from referring to students by their true name and pronouns unless a parent gives explicit permission to the principal. Of course, this is only being used on the transgender students. I've heard teachers refer to a student as "Bean," because that's a nickname. I've heard teachers refer to a student as their middle name, even though that's not the first name on their birth certificate. No no, those aren't problems!! But calling me or my brother, who are 18 (fucking adults!!), by our true names and pronouns isn't allowed until our legal guardian gives permission. (Same with me, but honestly I don't give a shit if my teachers misgender me.)
So yeah, it fucking sucks in Kentucky, and queer lives are being silenced by our school systems.

DILUC  “as well i should.”      oh. well- that-
Tumblr media
run, breathe the vestiges of sense. the heat of his gaze darts to the door into the kitchen- has to know but can’t ascertain the location of the back door beyond childe. there is a tall ( infuriatingly so... ) slab of snezhnayan cornering him against his own bar, &-
& something low in his belly trembles for this.                traitorous, traitorous—
his cheeks are still catching up to the look in blue eyes.
—it’s worse than hunger. something light & weak, weakening him. there is strength in this monster man on more levels than initially presumed, & with breath skating along skin these facts sit in the middle of his being like a child amid scattered toys. their prominence feels so innocent.
more than one figment of nightly imagination has proven that deceptive.
i- you- listen, you uncouth foreign fuck-
instead, diluc’s face shifts away - unwilling to heed anything but the safety that is shame. it’s a fence sitting sort of safety, however. given childe’s nature to push, there is no real salvation in inertia. ( & when he has been instigating for weeks? the fucker doesn’t seem to back down from a challenge unless to rile his opponent up. )
‘uhm’ manages to mute itself in the press of his lips. “...” in, & out, the breath at his ear is warm & knows him frightfully. ( there is nothing better than being s e e n. ) heat is a sharp sliver that cuts directly into his core; lead by those words that come from that mind behind those all-seeing eyes...          fuck.            he’s going to have to— visit someone, pay for something. this is- embarrassing, there’s no need to feel so intensely when- dammit, he wasn’t supposed to take this seriously! ( or something. sensible thought is proving elusive. the frustration at suffering consequences is not. )
“there is no next move.” begins lord ragnvindr. he has not moved an inch. neither has the weight of his desperate gaze on the kitchen door. “...merely testing a theory.” will a fainting follow the heat in his face? wouldn’t prefer to be unconscious around the harbinger, but it’d spare him his own folly.        it’s one thing to need closeness. another to crave it here.
                        strong warm smart hungry
childe wants him & his ears are ringing. childe teases & his mouth grows wet. childe looms & boxes him in & t a u n t s & he wants nothing more than to kiss or punch or both at once. maybe most of all he wishes to be kissed with that same ridiculous audacity.
        bold as all get out
“you’re imagining things.” when in doubt? project. at least it’ll keep childe busy smarmily dissecting that instead of encouraging m o r e. “i’ve merely been-” nearly swallows his tongue. shrinks—from the cold hard fact that he has not moved away yet more than the actual body that makes him want to stay, “returning the favour.” breath shivers where confidence does not. fuck, fuck, fuck. “you enjoy,” tempting me “—attempting to...                    harass me.”
agh. hunger aches through the body. it’s all he can do to tense his fists in the pockets of his slacks & stay still. ( gripping the counter- That He Owns -would have him holding the fucker’s hands. ) a low buzz spreads through his veins. his ears ring. when ginger strands tickle from his chin to his brow bone diluc finally blinks. “...” it’d be so simple to tell childe to back off & yet he cannot bring himself to do so.
“where’s your professionalism, harbinger?              fraternising with the enemy.”

oftentimes I find myself scrolling through the KOTLC tag and just. straight up blocking newer Tumblr users. they're rather annoying, and I realize that they'll probably either leave or change with time... but I find them infuriating now. AITA?
I don't think anyone's an asshole in this situation.
New tumblr users--who, at least in the keeper fandom, are often young--can post what they want, which means they can and do post in ways that don't quite fit with how tumblr operates. They can say/post things in ways that are clearly learned from other sites' modus operandi, or in relation specifically to keeper, that are less mature interpretations/opinions on the series or are opinions more common on other sites. They're allowed to do that
And we as long-time users can block them. We're both entitled to that. It's not rude to curate your experience. Because new and younger users can be annoying, some very much so. And yes, it's very likely they will change with time, but you are not at all required to deal with that in any capacity. That takes time and patience, and not everyone has that or is willing to use it in that way. Which is totally fine. You are on tumblr for you, and if interacting with new, younger users isn't something you want to do, you don't have to! And that's not at all unreasonable!
In fact, you could argue that it's better to block them and have each of you left to your own devices, as then you don't have to be infuriated, and these new users don't have to deal with you while you're infuriated. Because they're not doing anything wrong, you just don't mesh at the moment. It happens
That's my long way of saying no, you're not an asshole. New users are allowed to post things you find annoying, and you're allowed to block them. No hurt feelings :)

Does that include Henry Miller irls or anything or is it just likers
this is sort of a toughie anon i havent thought abt this a whole lot before if i'm being completely honest,,
after giving it a bit of thought i'd say you'd probably would want 2 block me considering the way i talk abt henry in canon just to be safe (i'll say stuff like "oh he sucks so bad i hope he dies" quite often reblogging art of him which. i'm sure you wouldn't want 2 see ghfb <///3 i reblog stuffs on a diff blog of mine but u know.. :// /lh)
i totally get that irls (and fictives and the like) aren't going to be carbon copies of their sources but i do feel a sort of discomfort towards henry irls :[ i've blocked a handful in the past without knowing anything else about them just out of sheer dislike of henry in-game. it's more about my own response it isn't personal. and it's probably something i'll need to think abt sometime but idk i digress.
i'd reccomend not interacting with any of my blogs just like for your own comfort you know,, tbh though if you don't really mind i don't either👍 i just won't interact back or make friends i think but don't take it personally i'm just still working on being more tolerant and all and this might be something i'm more okay with in the future ?? it really honestly depends i suppose
so tl;dr to properly answer i'm not Entirely comfortable but as of rn yes, you can interact and follow n all that i'm just not likely to reciprocate /lh and thank you for asking first !! /gen
OH ALSO separately to my own discomfort, henry is a trigger for a close friend of mine so that's kind of like. the final nail in the coffin 4 me sorry i'm Not going 2 talk 2 you,, <//3 /nbr

Helpful tip: if you’re reblogging a piece of media, character, person, ship, or creative work from a person who you know actively enjoys said thing, don’t shit on it and post negative tags with your reblog. Maybe reblog it from someone else or don’t post negative tags at all. Or, and this is something for some people that need to go outside and touch some grass, don’t reblog it at all and scroll on by. Amazing concept, right?

lol I created a new hashtag for this blog
everytime I'll do a post or reply delving into Kaito's complex character I will tag it as "Welcome to the Kaito Educational Channel"
because (sometimes understandably - it is the authors who want us ignorant about him-, sometimes less understandably) Kaito's motives and personality are still such a mystery for the fandom. Such an intricacy between what he says or displays, and what he actually feels.

✿•*`¨*`•.¸✯≫ Lee Eun-Hyeok/Lee Eun-Yoo
\Canon, No Monster AU, idk tbh a mix of both just speaking about random things here/
-❀•≫ My favorite siblings....no they really are along with Ikki and Shun from Saint Seiya but that's not the subject here. The THEM™. I have so many things to say about them
-❀•≫ First of all, we don't really know how they were BEFORE their parents's death, which doesn't help me set a developpement knowing if they relation was smoother before 😭 I like to believe they were pretty much the same but with a more stable and normal sibs dynamic, Eun-Yoo being less agressive etc
-❀•≫ They both love each other...so much. They really do, it's insane. Most of their love language goes through gestures (repairing the broken glasses, giving a shirt) since they suck about saying vocally how they feel about each other.
-❀•≫ Eun-Yoo feels mostly angry at HERSELF, because she feels like she's the one at fault for the death of their parents. She 'stole' Eun-Hyeok's family, a new family he was supposed to get and can't forgive herself for this. Seeing Eun-Hyeok being kind with her, offering him things, is truly hard for her.
-❀•≫ Her affection for him is paradoxal, because basically, she loves him. But seeing someone she loves getting his new family destroyed because of her being still nice with her HURTS her too. Because everytime he's being nice, she remembers how she destroyed everything for him, and due to that, for her, she doesn't really deserve his love. She's basically rude with him BECAUSE she loves him. She kept the shirt he gave her and put it on after she got out of his sight for example
-❀•≫ I believe they need to talk about all of this, about how bad Eun-Yoo really feels instead of bottling everything up, and Eun-Hyeok also needs to be a bit more. Open and less 'cold' ? 😭 Their main issue is being absolute mess of human beings with little to no real dialogue and they need to SPEAK ABOUT THEIR PROBLEMS. Eun-Yoo fixing her bro's glasses was nice, him bandaging her ankle was nice, this scene made me cry a little, but it's not. ENOUGH. For them to have a healthier dynamic 😢
-❀•≫ I'll just finish with something I'm deeply annoyed with, the strong hatred for Eun-Yoo in this fandom. Nobody forces you to like her, of course, but treating her like she has done multiple murders and atrocities while she's literally a TRAUMATIZED TEEN just rubs me the wrong way, she doesn't deserve the hate some people throw at her I swear to god 💀 not asking to love her, but to stop saying dumb shit and try to understand her a little bit. She's one of the most interesting characters on this show, her dynamic with her brother is SO good and interesting but guess she's just an annoying teen okay
-❀•≫ One day maybe I'll do a wall of text solely based on Eun-Yoo bc I think she's great and deserves more love 🙏

THANK FUCK
We had mediation with our uncle today (he survived covid last month I guess lmao) and he FINALLY agreed to a fair settlement. Fucking FINALLY.
All it took was getting the court to (justifiably) invalidate him as the estate executor, asking the court to appoint a third party administrator, getting the administrator to agree to appraisals (which ultimately never happened), making three attempts at scheduled mediation, and then spending six hours of laughing at his lowball offers and refusing to budge.
And magically at 3pm, as the day was drawing to a close and he was going to risk losing his chance to make an agreement (meaning the things he wanted would be sold, too bad)... he started agreeing with our offer.
Because we weren't asking anything unreasonable and he fucking knew it, the bastard.
The judge mediating the whole thing was already annoyed with our uncle after the first two hours because he kept lowballing us even though we kept putting forth very fair offers. I kinda wonder if at 3pm the judge said something to him like "They keep giving a very reasonable offer. I'd suggest taking it, otherwise the day will end, the court will say mediation was a failure, and you'll lose the chance to get the things you want because they'll just be sold off. Not to mention at a higher price than they're offering you." Cause like, that change happened so fast at 3pm it was like whiplash. 😂
