Luke Skywalker x reader

Synopsis: Luke recalls his childhood memories.

Word count: 2k

Content warning: do not read if you have Entomophobia (fear of bugs)

Months before the kenobi show

"they look weird.." Luke mumbled as he tried not to hurt your feelings with his words

"is it because of their legs? Millipedes are like that" you explained to him as your pet millipede crawled around your wrist and hands.

"ye-yeah..maybe that" luke mumbled as he shivered,he felt like the millipede was crawling in his skin and he wanted to frantically scratch his skin at the thought of it

"they don't harm you or anything like that, they don't bite so you don't have to worry" your voice was barely a whisper at this point as he watched you put all of your attention on your pet,he was quite jealous as he wanted your attention to be on him at all times,he was your friend after all

"yeah.. but it's legs" luke mumbled as he put his knees right in front of him "too creepy..i can almost feel it's legs crawling on my skin" and as he said that he saw you perked up

"do you wanna hold it?" You asked him as you shoved your hands (which still has your pet crawling on your fingers) right in his face.

"what?! No!" Luke said as he quickly moved slightly away from you, you only nodded in response as you continued playing with the millepede as you lightly brushed your fingers around it's moving body

"i can understand, nobody really likes it when hundreds of legs are crawling on your arms" you said as you placed your millipede down your lap, Luke watched you as he silently admiring your beauty before snapping out of his trance

"that's not really helping with your description of how it feels" luke grumbled as he hugged himself as he tried to get the feeling out of his head

"right, sorry" you answered as you put your pet on it's cage now

"wanna play now?" You asked him as you stood up before dusting off the sand off your body, Luke nodded as well as he stood up quickly as you both ran off and went to play with whatever tatooine has given you today

"dear, stop picking up every animal or insect that you see.." Luke mumbled as he tried to get your hands away from the pond as its fishes swam away frantically from your hands

"why not? That fish looks cute" you mumbled as you tried to touch the fish again, Luke quickly intervened as he took your hands and held it between his fingers

"don't,it might be poisonous" luke warned you again, after all these years, you never changed, you were still the quiet person that he knew, you still took interest in animals and insects and you still favored reading and writing rather than action.

"no it's not, I've learned a species slightly similar to this" you answered back to him stubbornly,luke sighed as i softly cupped your cheeks

"similar does not mean the same thing dear" luke spoke softly , though you could only sigh in defeat again as he won over you again

"now let's get up and eat lunch, i made your favorite food" Luke said as you both stood up, luke didn't let go of your arms as he held them firmly against him

"can you at least use the force to take it ou-"

"no" Luke quickly cut you off as he knew that the animals in ossus were poisonous and he did not want you tampering with it "poison is poison, I'll give you another butterfly to preserve though" Luke added as he looked back at you

"ok that might actually work.." you mumbled as you both walked side by side towards his jedi academy

"can i feed grogu though?" You asked again, Luke looked at you in suspicion before nodding "i hope you're doing it to actually help me" Luke mumbled quietly to himself as he watched smile in success which only led him to chuckle on your behavior

Quite happy that I actually wrote something,wow ok, anyways ignore the lazy writing on this one 😾 i was super bored so i wrote something today 🤷‍♀️ (not really something i do but ok!) Anyways don't be surprised if i don't post anything again 😽

Also heleana isn't a face claim or anything 😿 I'm just demonstrating on what you're doing (the English just went out of my head help???)

Also idk where Luke's jedi academy is located so I searched it up and it came back up and it said ossus (??) Anyways inform me if I'm wrong lol

While ignoring the fact that Leia’s introduction in the series consisted of her convincing another child to take her place, running away to the woods with her pet, arguing with her cousin (who admittedly was a dick) and running into the woods for the second time that day.

i could tell right away it was hayden and ive never been happier
