alright boys. big post incoming.
DISCLAIMER: it is 3am upon writing this all down and i am also not a writer
Tumblr media
i’m gonna start with the more lore-based stuff and add the little physical details as they come! so let’s fuckin explain this, shall we
in the world of this design/my personal hc techno isn’t so much the blood god as he is his champion and/or successor of some sort! partially through birth but in a fated sort of way, where he was just inevitably going to achieve the things required of the champion within his lifetime and thus was blessed from a relatively young age without need for some monumental trial. the blood god’s mantle was granted– the cape he wears– and is of a beast that was essentially the manifested will of the blood god. now i do want to say that i’m unsure whether a lot of techno’s physical features also came from the blessing or if he was born with them; i’m leaning towards born with them to an extent, and imagine him as a similar/same species to that of schlatt and tubbo in my hc! nondescript, varying ungulate features with techno only being half blooded (and lacking the strange sclera & tusks initially, as those do fit with the blessing).
before i get into what the mantle does i’ll talk about the beast itself, because i absolutely fucking love it it’s my squinkly little mythic pig
tales of the boar describe it as a hulking, monstrous creature that could dwarf any hoglin and was covered head to toe in blood-red, serrated quills; suffice to say the mantle itself implies it was more likely to have simply been a mutated hoglin, a rare subspecies, or some sort of thick-furred, primal ancestor. the bushy mane of the mantle is very rough and sharp, but fades into a much softer coat further down the cloak– though it does have hints of red here and there, so perhaps not everything was an exaggeration.
the most pressing question is whether the entire thing is just folklore– if the mantle came from a real beast that existed at all or if it was just such a common tale told by the worshippers of the blood god that he himself heard and manifested the trophy into existence.
there really is no way to tell, unless you ask a certain old bird.
true or not, the boar’s story is that of an honourable plague. an animal that destroyed everything in its path and always, without fail, won. no matter how many of the world’s finest warriors sought it out, the beast never fell– never came close to falling. it lived a long and prosperous life, ruining others’, and the blood it spilt is said to have given the crimson forests their colour. it died old and happy as its tusks bore through and into its own skull, the crown on the mantle is representative of that– with the added flair of an article of holy clothing, that is. a crown of emerging tusks, not a trophy because of symbolism of some hero overcoming an impossible foe, but of a beast who lived life to the fullest. the unkillable imbuing its own virtue upon the wearer.
the mantle doesnt give so much as it exacerbates, though, granted only to those who, by their own merit, would inevitably live a life like the boar’s.
essentially while the blood god’s blessing doesn’t best the passage of time, it’ still kickass. and techno wasn’t given his chad nature by some god, he was just recognized for it.
the blessing– again, at a young age– also gave him his very striking eyes and tusks! the eyes are inspired by those of a bearded vulture, where their actual function is flushing blood into the sclera to intimidate other animals (which is just so incredibly perfect). it technically isn’t permanent, but is attached to such a minute increase in heartrate that unless he is incredibly bored his sclera is nearly always red. it’s a good way to tell if he’s sleeping, at least? that is if you can’t pick it up from the closed eyes, blanket, and snoring.
the tusks came in gradually as he aged, and on the topic of physical features his hair is dyed!
the voices (chat) were passed to him along with the mantle, which essentially functions as a selkie style half-pelt that fuses to him, grants him strength and heightened susceptibility to the aforementioned Chat (tm). he’s not a monster by any means when ‘fused’, but behaves slightly more like a big silly dog. or wolf, i guess, given the times he tends to use it. it’s actually the form he’s most comfortable in given how much more durable he is (hence boar guy in his reading glasses chilling up there) but over time without breaks from it the voices grate at him more and more. he kinda took a break from using it after doomsday.
he’s about 6’3 as a humanoid, but closer to 7’ fused with the mantle! it fuses from his chin, down his spine & shoulders to the tail, and finally down his legs.
his forearms, stomach (& most of his back) and neck are almost entirely unchanged minus the scale and build being a little altered! the cape/fabric part actually entirely disappears, and while the action of donning it is a very physical ‘putting it on’, taking it off is more of a mental thing— which poses a challenge when the voices have cause to be particularly loud and he just wants out but can’t focus.
the last few things i’ll touch on is the reception in canon to this, and the effects of the attempted execution.
so nobody but phil and maybe the rest of sbi truly know much about this, it’s actually generally assumed around the server that it’s just whatever strange sort of creature that techno is.
the stories– and the blood god himself– exist primarily in the nether, and techno rarely ever met with people without the mantle fully equipped and fused. it certainly contributed to his reputation, to the point of others being baffled upon seeing his ‘human form’ after assuming for so long that a bipedal, prickly hoglin was just this freakazoid’s default. he didn’t mind; the less vulnerable the better. and it allowed him to wreak havoc a hell of a lot easier, with a hell of a lot fewer voices telling him to tone it down as opposed to his beta male humanoid form. if the butcher army had known to make him take it off, things could have turned out quite differently. but they didn’t, so they can suck it.
lastly, slightly anticlimactically, and a wee bit differently to the art (which, again, was just the rough design after having these ideas marinating in my brain sauces for 7 months with no outlet), the effects of the totem! there arent veins running down him or the mantle’s face as cool as that would be, because, y’know, practicality, but all of his tusks (since he was fused at the time of near-death) have cracks in them that have been mended with gold! he also has a striking, golden lock of hair directly around the impact site on both forms, and fancy gold irises that compliment his freaky deaky sclera wonderfully.
and there’s my techno shit! i’m probably forgetting a lot, or i just havent thought about it yet and will come up with my answer to any questions immediately upon being asked and no sooner but YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! if u read this far ily parasocially

Anyway, I’ve talked a lot about Tommy without talking about Him, so let’s do that.
I was expecting Tubbo to be part of his group, but having him be there as just Tomys friend is so funny. It’s also adorable. (And it probably says a thing or two about how stubborn Tomys is, since he probably refused to go without him). Their dynamic very much gives “Your majesty, this is my emotional support best friend”.
Having Jack as a guard is giving me Stars flashbacks. Probably as intended. It’s funny that he is now Tomys guard instead of Wilbur’s. I was not expecting Puffy, but I probably should have. She’s there to make sure Tomys behaves, but she still has a lot of work to do about the etiquette. She also gives me the vibes of someone who deserves a raise.
Side note: did Niki or Quackity come with extra entourage? Like Niki was a baby, but Quackity was similar in age. Or is this unusual? (Also, I love the throne and crown, I’m sure that doesn’t have any ominous relation to certain tags on this fic)
Anyway, Tomys first impression reflects very badly on Sam. As we learn in chapter 3, everyone figures out why Tomys is there. And he’s clearly a bad first choice as a heir. (As in, if Sam were to die right now, Tomys would do terribly compared to Niki or Quackity).
He comes off as just a kid, which he is, but that’s not something you can be in this situation. None of the other kids got to have a normal childhood. On top of that Tomys is kinda a little brat, for a noble child at least, and not in the way those kids are normally brats.
But Sam seems rather fond of him. He’s very patient with him and all his blunders. I think he’s a kind king, but *looks at chapter 3* he’s not the brightest. It becomes very clear, very quickly that Sam did not think this true at all.
Like part of his decision process is wanting to decide something for himself because he’s self aware enough to know Phil is pulling the strings, but not smart enough to actually do it himself. So he brings Tomys and is all secretive, but then he didn’t talk it through with anyone and missed so many implications because he’s just living in his own world. But then he doubles down which is incredibly childish, but he wanted to make a desicion for himself and refuses to acknowledge that it’s backfireing (which is a very worrisome quality to have in a King).
Though I think some of it might just also be actually indecisiveness and wanting to buy himself more time to chose because he clearly doesn’t know who to pick based on how he asked Schlatt. He’s just digging himself a bigger hole and I’m scared he’ll double down further and will pick Tomys in the future just because Phil doesn’t want him to (can you tell I do not like Sam? Very good writing job on that, btw).

no literally I was trying to figure out a position for tubbo that wasn't 'personal servant' just bc I didn't feel like doing that for this fic, and when I couldn't come up with anything I was like "...it's clingyduo tubbo would come just as his emotional support bestie" and then I thought back to how in historical movies you always hear about nobles having their ladies in waiting/companions/friends showing up with them everywhere like an entourage and I was like huh that would work
lol yeah after stars I'm a bit of a sucker for writing jack manifold as a guard again. he's just so good in that type of role, although I'd say he's going to have a smaller role here than he had in stars (though who knows I also didn't think stars!jack would play a very big role and look how that turned out). and of course tommy needed an adult chaperone so I thought of puffy. she's so tired of this shit.
yes, niki and quackity both came with entourages of their own although I'm not going to mention them bc I can't think of characters they'd be and I don't like throwing ocs into my fics for more than just a few lines here and there. except since niki was brought to the palace so young she essentially came just with her nanny and some guards, and when she was eventually given ladies in waiting they were provided by the palace not by summerdam. quackity was a little older so he showed up with a tutor, guards, and probably a private servant. still working out details on backstory stuff you know how it goes
yeahhh the thing is tommy's immaturity is pretty prevalent right off the bat, and while he's not overly bratty by noble kid standards, by potential future heir to the kingdom standards he's terrible. and it says something about sam's ideas towards leadership that he only just met the kid and has a bit of a soft spot towards him, because he doesn't know tommy. not at all. but he thinks he does.
i'm glad you don't like sam. he's meant to be a very messy character in rose. someone who so clearly wants to be good at this game he's playing but is just so blatantly not which causes problems for everyone else around him

Imagine an AU where Tubbo, Tommy, and Ranboo are all sent back to the past, where they meet teenage Schlatt, Wilbur, and Techno.
The beginnings of Schlatt and Wilbur's adventures, where Schlatt, still Schlatt, is just an edgy teenager while Wilbur, still Wilbur, is also just as edgy of a teenager.
Tubbo and Tommy trying to figure out what happened between the two teenagers, and how their fallout began, and how their lives had begun to spiral.
And then the water rises.
Ranboo, however, is left with the same socially awkward man Ranboo knows, except also teenage version.
Techno is farming potatoes to beat his rival Squid Kid. Ranboo realizes that Techno hasn't changed a bit, just leaned more towards Anarchy now.

Y’know, I’m surprised more people aren’t making c!Quackity/c!Dream parallels. Most people talk about the parallels of the current characters “becoming” the previous villains, or becoming the new versions of the previous villains. Tommy being “the new Wilbur,” Tubbo being “the new Schlatt,” etc. And now people are making a lot of Ranboo/Dream parallels, which definitely makes sense. “A big, happy family?” But if Ranboo were to “become the new Dream,” it wouldn’t be for the same reasons as Dream. It would be because Ranboo may become corrupted, influenced by his enderwalk state, manipulated, and so on. And Ranboo would most likely never stoop to the level of cruelty that c!Dream had.
But you know who else has a scary amount of parallels to Dream? Quackity.
When Quackity was discussing the egg’s mind control plan with Bad, there was something really interesting about it. Yes, Quackity made it clear that he was against using the egg’s influence to gain power for the eggpire. However, Quackity also heavily implied that he would be interested, if not on board, with using the egg’s power of mind control if it was “for good.”
Quackity hates Dream. He despises Dream, probably more than most people on the server. Which is what makes his similarities to Dream so interesting. Quackity is very similar to Dream in many ways. Quackity heavily relies on his verbal abilities to get him what he wants. He’s charismatic in his speeches, he’s able to negotiate to get what he wants, he’s extremely cunning and clever, and he can be very manipulative when he wants to be. We saw this numerous times, with him manipulating and scamming people in business, like what he did with Jack, when he tried to convince Tubbo to execute Ranboo, when he managed to convince people to do extremely shady things (like the Butcher Army and the Schlatt resurrection), and so on.
And while he’s not solely a power-hungry character, Quackity definitely wants power for himself. He said it himself to Techno, he wanted “organization, and power.” And the Las Vegas scheme? Quackity wants to gain as much control for himself as necessary, and acknowledges that in order to get this control, he’ll need to use cunning, manipulative tactics. Sound like anybody else we know? And now, Quackity is definitely using very, very shady tactics. Manipulation, potential mind control, scamming, execution plots. But, Quackity fully believes that the ends justify the means. “I’m going to kill you Techno, I don’t care what I have to do.” Quackity doesn’t care what he has to do, or who he has to hurt. He wants to achieve his goals, and will do so through any means necessary. Just like Dream.
But the thing that further cements Quackity’s parallels with Dream, is that Quackity isn’t just gaining power and control for himself because he solely wants to be cruel and evil. Quackity thinks he’s doing the right thing. He always has. Quackity has always seen himself as a hero, working for the “greater good” of everyone. With his push for Ranboo’s execution, with the Butcher Army, and now, with his potential involvement in the egg plot. Quackity was fully okay with using extremely shady methods, such as the egg, in order to gain control. But only if it’s “for good.” He wants to use the egg “for good.” He thinks he’s doing the right thing, and he’s bringing good and union to the server.
The thing is, Quackity also has expressed how much he hates tyrants, and he hated people like Dream and Schlatt. The quote “Why does one man need so much power?” was enough to bring him back to L’manberg to fight alongside his friends. But Quackity still wants power for himself. This is because Quackity doesn’t see himself as a tyrant. He doesn’t see himself as just as bad as the tyrants who came before him, and refuses to see himself as that. Quackity thinks he’s doing the right thing, so while he’s hated tyrants and power-hungry people in the past, he doesn’t see himself as a power-hungry tyrant. He even got genuinely offended when Bad called him power-hungry. Quackity hates when other people try to seize power for themselves, but when he himself does it, he heroicizes himself and thinks he’s doing everything “for the greater good.”
Exactly like Dream, and his “big, happy family.”
So while we speak about how young heroes can parallel their corrupted mentors, new presidents and rulers can parallel their villainous predecessors, I think we should start to pay more attention to the tyrant-hating freedom fighter that slowly became everything he swore to fight against.

AU(s) where all the mod videos Tommy does, along with some other videos, are all alternate universes, and their residents end up in the SMP. Chaos ensues.
Voice Mod AU:
Universe where nobody talks aloud. They telepathically communicate, and the closer you are, the clearer and louder you are, unless you have the control the lower your mental voice.
Why?
Post-apocalyptic world(because Tommy said welcome to the new world at the start, and I too that and ran with it). They’re the new versions of humans, created after life returned on the planett, and the telepathy is a survival method, because outward noise draws predators, inner noise does not.
This also means they possibly have some other features similar to that. Like maybe Quackity’s duck wings being from some newly evolved duck species in the new world, Wilbur being a bit abnormally tall, or similar. I’m not sure.
Oh hey, no, Wilbur can be like a tree hybrid or something, cause Treebur.
Basically, evolution and telepathy.
Wilbur has a horse named Bert, he is speedy, and spends just as much time dragging his owner out of trouble than he does riding him into it.
The gang is basically just traveling the lands, exploring what’s about.
There are fish-horses, ender-horses, spider-horses, silverfish ponies, and horses that are somewhat like a breed between llamas and sheep in the world.
There are a lot of new horse breeds.
The Quackity of this universe wears clothes a lot like Manhunt Dream’s, hoodie-wise, but it’s all bright blue, and his mask has the :] face on it.
Size Mod AU:
Universe where people can shift and change sizes, though only to certain ones.
For example, Wilbur’s stuck small. He can shift to the size of a small dog, height wise, or that of a flower, but he can’t get big. Quackity can go smaller than Wilbur, or literally bigger than the Enderdragon. Both Tommy can be normal sized, or big, and Phil’s can be about the size of a tree, or become the size of a small mountain.
They all live in a nice house in the plains and spend their time terrorizing the locals.
Wilbur has a little house within the house, and he uses his size to cause havoc more often than not. Quackity is equally guilty of this.
Sometimes when the kids are being particularly bad, Phil puts the smaller ones in a compost bin and holds Tommy off the ground until he starts behaving.
Quackity’s a follower of the Blood God. Not to Techno’s length, but he goes and kills rabbits for him, and dedicates the chaos his giant form causes to the guy. In return, the four always have a flourishing harvest, and Quackity’s absolutely mean in battle.
Wilbur sleeps in one of Tommy’s old shoes that he stole and made into a bed.
Honestly, Wilbur’s kind of like the house mouse. He steals stuff and vibes in his little home in the walls. The cats that occasionally slip in try to eat him a lot too.
Wilbur and Quackity are bird hybrids, Tommy’s a zombie hybrid(cause he’s fighting a zombie and saying ‘I burn’ at that little bit), and Phil’s an iron golem hybrid.
Quackity and WIlbur have little bird-houses set up around the area for them to dart into and hide if anything comes after them.
They all met when tiny Q and Wilbur tried to rob Tommy and Phil. They succeeded with Tommy, but Phil was less than impressed at the attempt. Somehow it resulted in them all sharing a house.
Dragon Mod AU:
Universe set in more medieval-themed world. Phil, Quackity, and Tommy are dragon hunters. Wilbur’s a mischievous dragon sorcerer who enjoys shapeshifting into a dragon to mess with people. The hunters were originally sent after him, but spent more time frantically running for their lives while he laughed at them.
Wilbur’s actually good friends with the actual Enderdragon, who he calls Keithette. It was with her blessing that he decided to pick on the hunters.
He just spends all of his time messing with them. That’s all he does. He messes with them. It’s originally more malicious, which means they had a ridiculous amount of deaths, but they eventually all grew fond of each other, so now it’s more playful.
He helps them find treasure and scares off rivals.
Tommy’s a trained medic.
Quackity and Wilbur are...something? It’s a Skephalo situation. They could just be very affectionate friends, or they could be dating, or they could be messing with everyone. Nobody knows, and everytime they think they’ve figured it out, the two seem to magically know and do something to throw them off.
They’ve confused many, many people with their antics.
(They’re probably messing with people though, because they definitely know what they’re doing)
When the actual Enderdragon and her egg mysteriously went missing, Wilbur rounded up his friends and asked for their help in finding her-so now the group is on a quest to find her and return her to the End.
Natural Disaster Mod AU:
Universe where world ending natural disasters just keep happening. It killed off a lot of people, but honestly, at this point, it’s been going on for years, and those that remain are pretty used to it.
Tubbo and Wilbur are followers of the Mule God, and were brought together by him. Jack and Tommy are two good friends who came together to survive. And Phil’s a top-tier survivalist who keeps an eye on the four, mostly because he’d feel bad if they died too often while they live in the area.
Though they’re all three different groups, they stick together and help each other out.
Tommy and Tubbo were childhood friends before the disasters separated them. A young Jack found Tommy and took him in, and Tubbo was saved and blessed by the Mule God. They’re still friends, but have somewhat grown apart with their differing lifestyles.
Tommy’s a penguin hybrid.
Tubbo and Wilbur have been known to try and scam people passing by, and they have tried this with everyone in the area too-the difference is the ones who stick around know better than to buy it.
Whenever Tommy wants to hang out, he declares he’s rescuing Tubbo, and steals him from whatever he’s doing. Wilbur has long since accepted that occasionally Tubbo is going to be stolen, and doesn’t even blink anymore.
Tommy wears green, and Tubbo wears red.
Storm riding is a favored sport of Tubbo’s, where you grab a hang glider and get swept up into the storm. Jack hates it, but often gets dragged along anyway.
Morph Mod AU:
Universe where shapeshifters are more common, and Tommy, Charlie, Phil, Schlatt, and Wilbur are all a clan of them.
They co-exist with humans, and actually protect the local villages they live close too.
They also spend a lot of time messing with people outside said villages, but that’s unimportant.
Charlie and Wilbur prefer to be aquatic creatures. while Phil transforms into whatever works better for the environment he’s in. Schlatt just does whatever, and Tommy usually sticks to human form, only shifting when he’s bored or he needs too.
Wilbur tried to transform into a horse once, while in fish form. He’s not sure what exactly happened, but long story short, he’s the reason for the myth of the hippocampus.
They have a house in the village, one out, and then general little areas meant for them in animal form.
Because shapeshifters are strongly group-oriented, they prefer to shift in pairs or groups. Charlie and Wilbur typically pair up, as do Schlatt and Tommy. Philza doesn’t really have that instinct as strongly, so he just stays close to them instead.
Laser Eye Mod AU:
Universe set in a futuristic setting, where, due to an ancient void deity becoming malicious, Tommy, Phil, Charlie, and Wilbur are selected to become plasma wielding cyber warriors(futuristic magical girls, basically) to fight back against such threats.
These four’s cybernetics were embued with magic to produce specific plasma that would be effective against threats.
Phil wields divine plasma, and it’s fired out from his cybernetic wings, which were implanted as a military experiment. He can even detach a feather to act as a plasma covered sword.
Tommy wields phoenix plasma, and it’s fired out of his cybernetic eyes, which were transplanted into him when he was in an accident young, rendering him blind. They allow him to see by scanning out the outlines of objects and areas, and feeding the image into his brain.
Wilbur wields soulfire plasma, which is fired from his prosthetic legs, which have a kind of mermaid-motif, with fins and all, and make him a fast swimmer.
And Charlie wields greekfire plasma, fired from his cybernetic arm-it can also fire slime-like globs that rapidly grow and incase the area they’re attached too.
Wilbur was actually the first selected for the program, but he went missing shortly after, stolen and controlled by the void deity, who turned him into quite the obstacle for the others.
They eventually rescued him from it’s control, and after he recovered, he joined the fight.
Endermen and endermen hybrids are common minions of the void deity-it seems to have End-based origins, being able to control them.
Lava Ravine Mod AU:
Universe where Phil, Charlie, Wilbur, and Tommy are all strangers, who get a mysterious invite to an unknown world. It seems like a lovely vacation at first, strangers aside, but things turn deadly when a seemingly normal ravine in the ground begins to grow, the lava inside it begins to rise, and our heroes find themselves unable to leave the world.
They soon realized they may have been selected for their ability to survive, but to do that, they’re going to have to all work together.
Tommyinnit originates from the world of RLcraft, Phil grew up in Hardcore Mode, Charlie is a fallen god from a world of chaos, and Wilbur has lived through a world like this before.
They build a giant glass and stone dome, and live within there, using their various skills to survive.
Wilbur pretty much knows how this world works to a T, and is able to predict when the lava will raise and how quickly. He knows how to survive and work around the heat.
Tommy and Phil have a variety of skills from their lives before, not limited to first aid and cooking.
And Charlie’s got a bit of godly power he can put to good use here, as well as many out-of-the-box ideas for what to do.
Charlie brought a card-game from his old world, and teaches Wilbur how to play. It becomes a favorite past time of theirs.
Jump Mod AU:
Universe where enhanced individuals have recently begun to exist. Tommy, Wilbur, and Quackity are some of many who choose to use their new abilities for their own gain, becoming thieves. They were taken under the wing of master thief Philza, who was in the game long before he gained his new powers.
Or, well, they were thieves. A job gone wrong resulted in them being caught by authorities, and forced into a deal. Once thieves for their own gain, now they’re agents for the government, stealing back what was stolen from their country.
All of them are generally more physically enhanced, with agility, endurance, and all that jazz. But they also have other abilities.
Tommy’s faster than anyone. Wilbur can refract light, essentially becoming invisible. Phil can communicate with birds. And Quackity can change the density of anything he touches, himself excluded.
Philza was actually caught because he stayed behind for his new partners. He had realized someone was looking into them, and didn’t want the younger ones going into that alone.
TNT Mod AU:
Universe where everyone is a mob hybrid, and they live divided in tribes. Tommy, Phil, Charlie, and Wilbur are a tribe/keg of creeper hybrids, who protect their territory, and cause havoc for any trespassers who happens upon them.
No one dares settle there, because these four are just as likely to swear a village’s protection as they are to laugh as they set it ablaze. It’s purely up to how they feel at the moment, finicky keg that they are.
However, there is a reason some do venture here.
Every tribe/(name for grouping of specific mob) guards a certain treasure. For the creeper boys, it’s an orchard of apple trees that grow, not only red apples, but gold ones too-and rarely, a god apple.
If you do happen to stumble upon their territory unintentionally, your best bet is to appeal to Wilbur, as he does have a soft spot for people-of course, you’ll need to make sure none of the others think you’re taking advantage of that soft spot, lest they slowly and painfully kill you for even considering it.
Creepers are very friendly to them, and see them as one of their own. Other mobs, not so much.
The orchard is surrounded by a dense forest, that’s abruptly lets up to a clearing that rings around it. This is where the keg lives, in high tree houses all connected to one another.
Their forest is their pride and joy, and it’s filled with many exotic trees and plants from around the world. Bringing them an addition for it is a sure way to assure your survival, and even gain an alliance, if it’s a really good addition.
Likewise, messing it up even slightly will immediately get you murdered.
Black Hole Mod AU:
Universe where the sun exploded and became a black hole that’s slowly consuming the world. Though many perished, some survived, with the advanced technology in the future.
Wilbur, Charlie, Phil, and Tommy are some of those survivors.
Charlie is a scientist, studying the black hole to see if there’s anyway to perhaps stop it, or survive within it once it consumes them.
Phil’s a former mercenary who came to the lab with Tommy, after finding the young student stumbling about the remains of a city.
Wilbur’s the former on-board scientist from the crew that first encountered the black hole. He was originally presumed dead, but suddenly reappeared one day, and was found nearby by Phil, who dragged him to the lab. He’s...different. He’s seen things.
Charlie and Wilbur graduated from the same university, and were actually working in the same lab before Wilbur joined his crew in space for an up-close study.
Philza has a bad habit of adopting any creature he finds, and it’s become something of a joke by the four. He adopted Tommy, he’s adopted Wilbur and Charlie, and he has quite a few birds and other creatures that followed him back.
Body Shuffle Mod AU:
Universe where glitches a common sight, and humanity has evolved alongside them.
The world basically...well, I wouldn’t say revolves around? But glitches are a large part of life at this point, and players have specifically evolved to be able to work with them.
A common glitch includes the Body Glitch, where random body parts will seemingly vanish off a person without causing them harm or effecting them.
Tommy and Charlie are Takers, people who have a special, glitch-specific gene that allows them to take a glitch effecting a being or item, and pull that effect from said being/item, and upon themselves.
They’re equally loved and hated, considering the rarity of the gene, and what uses it could be employed for.
The two have a business that they use this ability to take and relocate glitches for various purposes.
Philza and Wilbur are the two’s bodyguards turned friends, who protect them from less savory people, and suss out the ones with bad intentions.
Gas Mod AU:
Universe set in a modern fantasy world where a mysterious gas suddenly overtook the planet. Many died. A few survived-but for some of them, that was the crueler fate, as the mysterious gas began to make them monsterous creatures that sought flesh and blood.
Tommy, Charlie, Phil and Wilbur are the scattered survivors in a city overtaken by the gas, banding together to fight back the monsters born from the green fog, and stay alive.
Wilbur was formerly a cartographer on a ship. He’s also half siren, and his most priceless possession is a diamond dagger given to him by his former captain.
Charlie is a doctor, as well as a wizard. His magic pet is a slime-like dragon. Yeah, he’s not sure where the little guy came from either.
Phil got a whole cocktail of heritage, but most are sky-related, so he’s got a strong grasp on air magic, which he uses to create safe bubbles for the gang to breathe freely.
And Tommy’s a low tier human-turned demon after death- an imp, basically. He causes havoc.
They all have to wear gas mask, which are heavily enchanted to keep the gas from affecting them.
The group basically just has a weirdly domestic life in the abandoned city, after they cleared out an abandoned apartment building to chill in.
Surgery Mod:
Universe where the gang are the experiments of a mad scientist having escaped.
Tommy is a poison-based experiment, Wilbur is a Nether-based one, Philza is an End-based experiment, and Charlie is an Over-world based one.
They were all grouped together in a cell because the older three are part of the Dimension Project, and Tommy accidentally imprinted on Wilbur when he was created, meaning he would have died if he was separated from him.
The four eventually decide that they hate this life, and stage a break out with the rest of the guys experiments.
Once they escaped, they decided to travel the world as a family, exploring everything they’d never had the chance to see, and finding where they belonged in this place.
Lava Floor Mod AU:
Universe where all the oceans in the world have been replaced by lava. For Ninja, Tommy, Wilbur, and George, their get-along vacation goes south when they’re stranded alone on a chain of distant islands, far from any sign of civilization.
If they ever hope to survive, they’ll have to put their issues to the side and work together to get to the one place unaffected-the Nether.
Tommy ‘Smokes’ Notfound, and Wilbur ‘Soot’ Fortnite are the two children of the struggling couple George ‘Specs’ Notfound and Ninja ‘Bow’ Fortnite, who haven’t seen each other in years, despite still being married.
The two, knowing how close their kids were, agree to meet up so the two can hang out, which is why they ended up on this vacation on the first place.
Wilbur and Smokes would really appreciate if their parents could get along too-it’d make vacation a lot nicer without all the tension. And yes, they could worry about all the oceans turning to lava, but they won’t. Instead, they’re going to be gremlins who try to get their parents to make up, whether that means divorce, or becoming a happy couple again.
Rising Void Mod AU:
Universe where the planets are being eaten by the void. Tommy, Philza, and Quackity are all aliens who managed to escape the demise of their home planets, and crashed landed on Earth, with the intention of warning them of what was coming.
Unfortunately, the only guy around for miles is Ranboo, a conspiracy theorist who prefers his isolated mountain cabin to the city...and also is in complete denial about the existence of aliens, even if they’re standing right in front of him.
Quackity is from a planet where ores and gems have a large part of fashion culture.
Tommy’s planet was the first to fall. However, Quackity was the one who was closest to be touching, and it leaves side effects-like him occasionally hearing it’s eldritch whispering calling for him to surrender himself to it and stop fighting-
But, y’know. It’s fine. It’s all good.
(Although he does happen to be the most aware of their inevitable fate, and uses humor to cope with the knowledge that no matter how hard they try, he and these people he’s grown to care for are going to die, and there’s absolutely no way to stop that)
Sky Grid Mod AU
Universe where Ranboo is a young, lonely god born to a grid-formed world. Though he has made many interesting creations, he decides he wants someone like him. Who can listen, and answer, and love, and hate.
And the universe loves him, so it answers.
It finds two souls who’ve died too young, and puts them into his hands to mold as he wishes. One, he creates in colors of green, like grass, and emeralds, and poison alike. The other, he creates in colors of red, like lava and poppies, and warm beds.
Their names are Tubbo and Tommy, and they’re different than what he thought they’d be. They cannot be controlled or remade, but they can bleed, and they can laugh, and most importantly, they can make choices.
And they choose to love him, taking him in their embrace as a friend, treating him kindly, and as one of their own, regardless of his power or abilities.
The three make a home in the gridded world, finding themselves and never fearing the fall, because the world loves both it’s godling, and the people made within it.
Terraforming The Moon AU:
Universe where the remains of humanity have fled to the moon upon the destruction of earth. They unintentionally awake age-old space deities, who, luckily for them, feel like lending a hand-mostly.
Wilbur is the only actual deity of the moon, but the rest of the SBI spend more time there than they don’t, because humans are interesting.
Tommy’s the youngest god, a deity of the stars within their young galaxy-it’s a position that was passed onto him by the former star deity, Clara.
Technoblade is the deity of both Mars and Venus. He’s actually been to Earth a few times before it’s destruction, and finds their cultures fascinating-particularly the Greek and Romans.
Philza is the god of the End. The oldest, he’s not just a deity, he’s a primordial of the end of all things. Truthfully, it was the very end of Earth that awoke him from his slumber, and it’s former inhabitants interesting lives that keep him awake.
They all pick a human to favor, and help out. Changes on the day.
Honestly, they aren’t necessarily malicious? They don’t really consider the fact that humans don’t have the same limitations and powers as them, so occasionally they fuck something up that somebody worked hard on, and don’t understand why they don’t just fix it already, not realizing that the humans actually have to take awhile to do that.
One Hundred Player Laboratory AU:
Universe set in modern time.
Wilbur and Technoblade are two university students trying to do a study for their finals-unfortunately, the rats they were supposed to use are both oddly sentient, and incredibly chaotic.
Techno and Wilbur are doing a study of behavior, and other scientific things. To do this, Techno has built a large, complex maze/building thing.
And Wilbur purchased a bunch of rats-except, he probably should have been a bit more careful who he bought from, becomes these rats definitely understand human speech, are all not normally colored, and desire to be as annoying and detrimental to their grades as possible.
To put it lightly, it’s not going well.
George’s If You Laugh You Lose Rematch AU:
Universe set in a chaotic, light-hearted world.
Sapnap, Karl, George, and Dream are some of the world’s residents.
Karl and Dream are chaotic shapeshifters who enjoy messing with George.
Sapnap’s a mischievous nether spirit who likes to team up and help them do it.
Karl can shift into objects, and Dream can turn into animals.
The whole world is comedic, and all it’s residents have a permanent case of the giggles-to the point of making a game of how long one can hold off laughing.
Sapnap usually takes the form of an enderman or enderman hybrid

Sleepy Bois Inc Batman au
okay hear me out
Phil is Batman. he’s got the dad vibes and a chronic addiction to adopting chaotic children and their friends. he seems like he should be the most responsible one, but this dude runs around in a fursuit fighting crime every night, he’s not as mature as he paints himself. always trying to give his kids advice but they never listen to him, so the poor man’s just struggling to contain the chaos.
Kristen is Catwoman. she’s a mischievous queen, always causing trouble for Phil when she gets the chance. logically she seems like she should be the mum, and the kids love her, but she’s ascended beyond the need for children and leaves Phil to clean up their messes.
Wilbur is Dick Grayson, the first Robin and current Nightwing. he’s the oldest and has been with Phil for the longest, got best friend vibes with Techno and accidental mentor vibes with Tommy. he takes pride in his appearance and his fashion, and has called himself a pretty boy. he’s stereotyped as the nice one on the surface but is highkey unstable. got the most friends among the rest of the caped community
Techno is Tim Drake, the third Robin n current Red Robin. he’s a fuckin neeerrrrrrd. socially awkward dude who accidentally made friends with a ton of extroverts and has been suffering the consequences ever since. smart and dedicated when he cares, but he often doesn’t. the least chaotic, but mostly just because he’s completely dead inside at this point. would beat up TommyInnit without hesitation.
Tommy is Damian Wayne, the current Robin. his literal nickname is demon brat, need i explain more? also, gets way too attached to animals (cough cough Henry)
and then Niki is Cassandra Cain, the second Batgirl and Batman’s only legal daughter. she’s essentially part of the family, but is a competent enough adult to not need parental figures and so doesn’t often get involved with the petty drama. quiet and sweet, but can and will destroy you if need be. any moral ambiguity can be eliminated by just fighting for whatever side she fights for. she is always in the moral right.
like, it all makes sense. Tubbo is Jon Kent, the current Superboy. he’s Tommy’s best friend and spends half his time with SBI; he’s the only metahuman they’ll let in Gotham. he’s super sweet but powerful af (hacks irl), and will play up the innocent persona to get away with chaos. and then Superman would be Sparklez; a veteran in the field and Tubbo’s father. fond of but also eternally done with SBI’s bullshit. stays the hell away from Gotham.
Then you could round out the Batgirls with Minx as Barbara Gordon (scary, always angry and usually with good reason, good leader but bad taste in men) and SophieTexas as Stephanie Brown (chaotic, strong moral code but willing to get her hands more dirty than SBI is, good friends with Techno n Niki). the girls on the gamer girl smp are the Birds of Prey. Poki is Wonder Woman.
the first Teen Titans were Soothouse, and Tim’s Young Justice group is Techno’s 2017- friend group: Hanna as Cassie’s Wonder Girl cause she’s an ascended fangirl, Skeppy as Impulse because duh, Calvin as Kon Kent’s Superboy cause he’s cocky but for bloody good reason, and Tapl as Slobo because it’d be funny. also, black nail polish rights. BBH is Arrowette but with a gun. he made the mistake of becoming friends with Skeppy and has been struggling ever since, but at least he’s close with the new Green Lanterns. people usually underestimate him, but he has a fucking gun so
Tommy’s new Teen Titans group includes Tubbo, Wisp, Deo, and Drista. Wisp is Maya Ducard’s Nobody; great at combat and with strong oldest-friend vibes. Deo is Emiko Queen’s Red Arrow, cause whenever he shows up the violence escalates significantly and rapidly. and then Drista is like that new Teen Lantern girl, the kid who wasn’t actually chosen but hacked into the Green Lantern rings’ power source cause she’s a gremlin child.
Squid Kid was just a big brain Gotham dude who thought it would be cool to challenge Techno’s title of ‘World’s Greatest Detective’. Techno took this personally, and the two took turns trying to outdo each other by solving the biggest cases the fastest. Squid, though, was a student, and so to fund this feud he accidentally became head of Gotham’s biggest drug empire, in charge of the city’s supply of a new chemical colloquially called ‘potatoes’. it’s non-addictive but does give you temporary super strength, which is inconvenient in a city that pumps out a new supervillain every week. the rivalry still continues, though, and - despite Squid turning from wannabe vigilante to criminal mastermind - the two have almost struck up a friendship, or at least an mutual admiration for each other
Schlatt runs the Suicide Squad, alongside Minx’s Oracle. they broke Quackity, Fundy, and Eret outta jail and got bombs in them, to force them to pull off the most dangerous missions. Quackity was there in the first place because of Schlatt, but is now having second thoughts. i kinda want him to be Harley Quinn, cause he has a similar vibe with the SBI boys that she has with the Bats. Eret was there because he betrayed some heroes a while ago for personal gain, and hasn’t had the chance to atone yet. Fundy was there because he used to be close with Wilbur, to the point that he was often mistaken as his sidekick. he got sick of Wilbur always needing to be the leader and turned to the villains’ side. the two haven’t spoken since
finally, the Dream Team are Earth’s Green Lanterns; super powerful and with a lot of galactic clout. they’re pretty new to the scene, though, and so initially clashed with SBI, cause they kept trying to get involved in Gotham’s business. powers are strictly prohibited in Gotham. eventually, this beef culminated in a duel between Dream and Techno: if Dream won they could actually uphold their oath and protect everyone on Earth, if Techno won then they had to stay the hell outta SBI’s city. Dream still hasn’t recovered from the fact that he was beat by a guy with no powers, but it was close enough for Techno to enjoy teaming up with the masked man every now and then since
i’ve been thinking about this all night, man. i knew all this obscure comics knowledge would be useful one day, to make...an au...about minecraft youtubers...maybe useful was a strong word, actually

my ghost!tubbo break down, analysis.
i chose very specific things when designing him, because i really, really loved this idea. so much went through my mind because i had many ideas that i wanted to put into his character at first, and i ended up rewriting lots of things. but i wanted to start with appearance first!
gubbos appearance.
so while yes my tubbo has always had many modifications to him vs his already canon design, even more went into what i wanted him to represent.
gubbos entire personality is supposed to be a manifestation of not only what people wanted him to be, but also what he lacked in experience. tubbo has had zero catharsis through out his trauma, only repression in order to forgive those he’s been hurt by. by doing so, he’s never realized his own mistakes. like the people he’s harmed through not ever sticking up for himself, or having no sensitivity towards them.
so that’s why i chose white purposefully as his sweater, it usually represents purity or something being complete. put together, this is something that gubbo is not. gubbo is part of tubbo that is like a torn away puzzle piece of his physical body, nor is he pure.
next was his fully grown horns and hair! both representing very similar things. fully grown, large ram horns represent power and strength. long hair on the other hand, while similar, is much more deeper. long hair is something thousands of different meanings everywhere, not one in the same. but a common interpretation is that it represents that of strength as well on a much more personal level. these are two things again, things people wanted tubbo to encompass but never could. as well as it also means signs of maturity, age, and stoicism. tubbo was to young to have these things, but tried anyways. of course, they all just warped his sense of self more, therefore creating gubbo.
a little tidbit before i end this segment is that the amount of hair gubbo has is meant to show how much hair tubbo has lost. tubbo has shaved his head, cut his hair, and lost it from explosions dozens of times in my headcanons. because he is ram, his hair is thick and grows back quickly. this is why i draw gubbo with these physical traits.
personality
i’m sure it’s crossed a few minds why gubbo is so mean. he’s literally yelled at his father while drunk and crying, why is that? he’s cruel, cold, and very disconnected from what’s happening. again, it’s representation for how tubbo has tried to become frozen over time. sense the explosions, in many places of his body he has gone mostly numb. he has little feeling in his the sides of his face, his hands, and chest. this helps him deal with the cold so well, but begins to freeze him in a way. metaphorically, he can never tell if has frostbite til he’d have to cut a limb off.
gubbo only has the negative memories of tubbo, he doesn’t remember schlatt becoming better. he remembers the horrible things tommy has said to him, ranboo leaving, and other things. while some range to just things that’s stressed him, others relate to full fledge things tubbo is actively trying to force himself to forget. thus causing not only the cold motif, repressed memories, and the manifestation of what others expect of him creating a very callous, cruel and sad ghost.
one that doesn’t want to rely on others, be seen as weak, and most certainly doesn’t want to forgive and forget like tubbo.
cold-motif
now before i end this here, i wanted to quickly talk about gubbos cold-motif. it makes sense because of snowchester and how it’s caused him to have this build up to create his ghost personification like this, but it’s seen constantly through out his movements.
whether it be slightly touching something and it freezes, walking into a room. it appears that gubbo is frozen to the touch. as well that his skin seems to hide any scars, in an act of trying to hide the pain that it’s caused him in a tubbo-like way. creating him as a clean slate, back to the purity metaphor. however, a fun thing about him as that he can’t even touch snow. it would hurt him as it’s still made from water, melting him. find that his body is freezing all the time, and can never stop unless he wants to melt. almost as if, they are like walls of protection. again, this is another metaphor of his character.
i think this is all i have to write, but if i have any updates, an extension of detail, i will certainly write more. if you’ve read all of this, thank you! have a good night/day.

I don't know if this has been said before, but do any of the borrowers have favorite snacks or movies? Is there anything in particular that Schlatt and Tubbo do together as like father and son?
Oh this gives me so much freedom to rant about absolutely nothing, thank you.
Also I only did the Bench Trio here for the sake of it being somewhat short but if anyones interested I will do other borrowers as well.
Ok, so, all of the borrowers in general really like hot foods and drinks. This is because it’s really hard to properly heat food when you live in the walls, and the quality of food isn’t really a main concern as much as having enough to eat is.
Tubbo just really likes sugar, but isn’t a huge fan of chocolate, and doesn’t like food that’s really hard for him to bite into, like skittles, jolly ranchers, gobstoppers, etc, or sticky things like starburts or taffy. So things like Pixi stixs, jello, and fruit roll-ups are really good, even if they make him really really hyperactive. He also just really likes sugary soda (though his favorite drink is hot chocolate) and junk food, which there’s never really any shortage of in Schlatt’s apartment. He also really hates scary movies, but besides that doesn’t really have a favorite genre of movie, but he likes things that make him laugh.
Tommy likes most food. He’s never been very picky, he can’t afford to be when whatever he can catch/gather is his next meal, so he’ll eat pretty much whatever. However he does like to try more interesting food, things that borrowers can’t get, like fried food, seafood, and occasionally slightly spicy food (he’s a wimp and he can’t handle anything too spicy). Also similar to Tubbo he’s gained a soda and junk food addiction. Tommy also really likes watching action movies, specifically the Spider-Man movies, which Ranboo will curse till he dies because they’ve given Tommy some…strange new ideas of how to use his rope to get around the apartment.
Ranboo really likes fruit. Of course he’s had things like blueberries, grapes, and strawberries before, since those are easy to get to outside, but he’d never had a chance to try bigger, harder to get to fruits before, and especially not fruits that grew out of America. So things like apples, pineapples, kiwis, bananas, watermelons, mangos, peaches, etc, are all things that he absolutely loves. He was also absolutely ecstatic to learn that you could dry fruit to make it last longer, similar to the jerky he would sometimes make with any excess meat he and Tommy had. He doesn’t like things overly and unnaturally sweet, but he has learned to really like tea. Ranboo also likes watching weirdly specific nature documentaries. He doesn’t like watching things about animals that lived in his area and could hurt him, but he really likes watching documentaries about animals and places he’s never seen before, like jaguars and otters, or rainforests and jungles.
Tommy and Tubbo like the documentaries, too, but they like watching them for the animal interactions. Tommy’s favorite animal becomes spiders, Tubbo’s will always be bees but moths were now second (Jambo specifically tying in second with moths), and Ranboo’s favorite animal was now also spiders, with ferrets as a close second.
And for Tubbo and Schlatt:
The two of them spend a lot of time together, since Schlatt primarily works from home to be with Tubbo. A lot of the time they act more like each other’s annoying roommates than father and son, but Schlatt still manages to be stupid while being a good dad. Like, he’ll protect his son with absolutely no hesitation, but he’ll also just throw him across a room onto his couch for shits and giggles. Y’know that meme where it’s a dad and his kid on the beach, and in one photo he’s sitting down holding his kid in a blanket and in in the other he’s walking and swinging his kid in the air by the ankle? Yeah Schlatt is both of those simultaneously. But also, Schlatt was still pretty young when he found Tubbo. He was just learning to live on his own, had only been in one serious relationship (which ended a few months later), and didn’t even really have a father figure himself. So him and Tubbo kinda grew up together, and, even though Tubbo loves Quackity just as much as Schlatt, there’s no denying that Tubbo is closer with the man who saved him all those years ago.

I love dsmp Tommy and his storyline but recently he's been pissing me off a bit. This is purely my opinion nobodies forcing you to agree or disagree. Please for the love of everything don't use him being a minor as an excuse unless you're going to also use it for Tubbo, Ranboo and Purpled (Also Sapnap, Niki and Jack who are still young as well).
DISCLAIMER: This is negative towards Tommy's DSMP character not Tommy as a person. It's all my opinion and you don't have to agree. This is just my thoughts that I decided to share after having multiple asks for a Tommy character analysis and my opinion on his character. (I put them together) If you disagree that's fine. If you want to debate some opinions that's fine (I know people are going to argue about the character growth) There's a TLDR at the end for those who want it
He's dismissive of everyone else's issues, he gets mad at people not asking if he's okay but the ones who do ask he gets mad at them for asking, he's started to act like he's the only one with the tramua and issues.
For example he's gone on rants about how nobody knows what it's like to die like Wilbur, Schlatt, Mexican Dream and Jack Manifold are right there. Also he literally dismissed Jack who was trying to sympathize with him as he'd also lost his canon lives and come back to life. But then later got mad that Jack was acting like Tommy hadn't died and nothing had changed even after he said he was sick of being treated differently.
He's always treated Tubbo like shit and when Tubbo exiled him to protect L'manberg he got mad saying he'd never do the same thing to Tubbo and he'd fight Dream over complying with him. Even after everyone told Tommy why he was being exiled he still said they were doing it because they're scared of Dream. Like that's not the one person he fears the most.
Tommy's disagreements and fights have always been him projecting his own issues onto other people then getting mad at said issues because they don't help him.
For example Tommy and Techno betrayed eachother but the only reason Tommy was mad was because he thought Techno used him even though he was the one who moved into Techno's, used his supplies and used his strength to get his confiscated items back from Tubbo and Fundy even though he had previously said he knows he can just ask Tubbo. From the start Techno made it clear his plan was to destroy L'manberg and said Tommy could leave when he wanted to. Yes Techno was also at fault especially with his whole "I'm a person" speech he said to the other people.
He got mad when Ranboo and Tubbo told him that he couldn't live in their mansion with them saying he couldn't be part of it because he was locked in prison. He basically said it was Tubbos fault that Tommy wasn't involved in the mansion because he didn't get Tommy out of prison.
In my honest opinion Tommy's lore and storyline dropped drastically in quality after the disc saga ended which is why I think it was such a long story purely because without the storyline Tommy has nothing to go off of. Nothing against Tommy but I don't think he could have his own storyline without having a big part being Dream, Techno or Wilbur. None of his arcs have ever been just him and he's the only character to not have a solo arc. If you watch anyone elses perspective at least once they've had this thing of Tommy being a "villain". He's not really had a character growth. He went from being obsessed with discs, to being obsessed with killing Dream. His biggest character trait is stealing and starting fights and it always has been. Where's the growth?
That's why in my opinion his storyline lack flavour compared to a lot of others. I'm not wanting him to have prerecorded bits or fancy overlays that's got nothing to do with it. I like Tommy's scuffed camera and soundboard music ambiance changer. But he's just not changed at much if at all as a character like we don't see Dream's perspective but you can still see a huge character shift and growth.
If I was to change anything for Tommy's character what would I change? First off Therapy to talk out his feelings, secondly I'd have him stop stealing everything but to ask instead or at least steal and replace or exchange (he's got 40+ diamond blocks he can use to exchange). Third I'd have him talk to Jack Manifold and Punz. Jack for the similarly of Death and because they're similar characters in terms of tramua and Punz because he "betrayed" Dream and was the one who was closest and knew him the best. Punz would know Dream's secrets which would be better ammo against Dream compared to running in swinging.
Like I said I like cc Tommy and I used to love dsmp Tommy but recently dsmp Tommy has done nothing but annoyed me.
Also to add on after the Ghostbur/Wilbur stream.
He blames Sam for Ghostbur being killed and Wilbur being revived even though he's the one that broke the rules, tried to sneak into the prison and used Ghostbur as a way to do it. Sam should have killed Tommy as that's literally what he's supposed to do but he let Tommy run free. Ghostbur died because Tommy tunnelvisioned Dream and prioritised his death over everything else including Sam's trust and everyone's safety.
Dream told Tommy that Wilbur was getting revived but for some reason still thought it was a good idea to bring a part of Wilbur within Dream's range. Like how do you think you got revived? He used your ghost that was trapped in prison to revive you he's going to obviously use Ghostbur to revive Wilbur.
Not forgetting that Tommy drank next to Sam and was messing with things making Sam suspicious then proceeded to pull out the axe where Sam could still very clearly see him. Like don't blame Sam for your stupid idea. You used Ghostbur and he died because of your actions and already your throwing the blame onto Sam who already feels like shit for your death, feels bad for Ranboo even though he doesn't know the whole story, probably feels a lot emotions about letting Quackity torture Dream. All Sam was doing is following prison rules. His only goal is to keep Dream alive and in prison and to stop anything or kill anyone that gets in his way.
TLDR: Dsmp Tommy is a bland character who has experienced little to no growth. He also struggles to have a good storyline on his own which I do think cc Tommy can do he just hasn't. I think his character is very hypocritical and often projects onto others. Give him some therapy please

In the God Techno fic, what are the other gods? Or is that spoilers???
HEWWO!! i’m so. gfshLFKJGHLGKJ!!! excited that you’re interested enough to ask about them!!! it isn’t spoilers, so i’ll share some of them + the ones mentioned already in the fic just to keep it in one place! <3
phil is the original god, the source of all things; he’s old and knows everything, that’s his vibe. he legit just created the whole universe and was like cool anyway i will now let other gods handle this shit so i don’t Have to... HAHAGLKHFJLJ
techno is, obviously, over war and famine, but he gets the “blood god” title from the general idea of bloodshed and death that’s associated with his existence.
puffy is semi-related to techno in this au! so while he rules war as a concept of violence, she more so rules the craft and structure of it. so: her domain is strategy and drought. she’s often depicted as sailing on seas of rainwater that she didn’t allow to fall, hence the drought— but she’s not too difficult to appease.
wilbur rules madness and song, and he is featured in merlin’s fic with this ruling! (let me promote your fics y’all i will always bring up your content!!!) he’s a favorite of people like musicians and poets, of course, and if he is worshipped in the way he prefers, he blesses his followers with muse and inspiration. and if they don’t? there’s a reason that artists are stereotyped as being unstable 🤷‍♀️
tommy is still young, compared to the others— and it shows, for sure. he rules pride and the “ego,” as in the self and identity. he wants to be worshipped, acknowledged. because he’s so young he has different ideals than the older gods; he wants gifts of new, interesting things from the mortal world, not sacrifices of grain and firstborn lambs and OLD PERSON SHIT LIKE THAT. he also just spends a lot of time with humans in general.
dream is a trickster-esque god ruling illusions and sleep. in the context of the lore, things like insomnia and psychosis are attributed to his influence, though rather unfairly because they’d be there with or without him. he also has strong ties to the concepts of both revenge and harmony. he’s not difficult to commune with, as far as gods go. what’s challenging with him is telling deception from truth, and understanding his motivations at any point.
tubbo is a demigod, not a full god— but still in the cast here, of course! he’s a child of the harvest goddess. now, who that is actually IS spoilers so that’s all for that part! ;) but he can control certain aspects of flora and fauna and has one hell of a green thumb!
ranboo is ALSO not a god, he’s a member of a fae-like race that exists to be archivists. they invoked dream’s ire and he killed all of them, except ranboo. he was left instead with the ultimate punishment for one of his kind: a curse of forgetting. he and tubbo are committed to each other for a lifetime (in a platonic sense, of course), hence the stellae dianthus in ch2. that relationship is notably the only reason dream spared him FNDKFNSV
schlatt rules over authority and greed; the two are very closely tied, after all. he tends to be called upon most by monarchs and others of similar ranking. he can bless them with prosperity and the approval of their people, but he is extremely unforgiving when it comes to getting his end of the agreement fulfilled. if he isn’t paid what he’s owed, he will ensure that not only do his blessings vanish, every other good thing goes with them.
quackity rules pleasure and indulgence. alcohol, drugs, food, sex, money, power— it all centers around the overindulgence, and that’s his domain. anything that’s ‘too much,’ y’know??? he’s sociable as hell, and a favorite of mortals because of his domain. he and schlatt are very closely tied for that reason,,, sort of a business partners relationship to get the most for both of them.
i have more but i see this post is getting QUITE long and i can’t expect anybody to read all that do i’ll stop here but. YEAH EVERYONE HAS A PLACE!!!

Now that we’re getting Jack Manifold lore, I just wanted to speak up a bit on it.
One, he climbed out of hell and came back to life. I don’t see enough people talking about this? Not only the sheer... wow, but the trauma, the suffering he must have endured? Now, we don’t know what exactly ‘hell’ is like in the Dream SMP universe, or death, or anything like that, other than vague details from Ghostbur, but in any case what he went through definitely would not have been easy.
It also speaks a lot about his character as a whole. Jack has been a background character for most of the SMP’s history, other than in the creation of Manifold Land and a few funny moments, but he was stubborn enough to resist death and simply just... come back. I’ve always seen c!Jack Manifold quite similarly to c!Tommy. Both are extremely stubborn, strong headed characters, and both can be comedic relief, yet are also full of themselves.
By being full of himself, I mean the amount of times Jack has jumped into battle and claimed that whatever they are fighting for is safe because he has arrived. Of course, this is just Jack introducing humour into conflict, but I like to think it’s naive hope and belief. That leads me to my next point, his youth.
Jack is so young? I’m not quite sure how old he is in lore, but if Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo’s age are equated to their irl ages, I can only assume the same for Jack Manifold. He was only 17 during the Dream SMP and L’Manberg war for independence, and only 18 when Schlatt took over and every other major event happened. If Tommy and Tubbo are traumatized kids? So is Jack. He moved away from L’manberg to make Manifold Land so that people would stop stealing from him. All he wanted was peace for himself, and even that he wasn’t granted.
So now he’s against Tommy, and working with Niki. This is extremely interesting to me. Both of them have clearly antagonized Tommy in their heads to a point of no return. Both have them have trauma that has been continuously, continuously sidelined. Both of them fought for L’manberg, but no longer see any hope for it. Niki has finally snapped, and that’s a story for a different day, but to me, Jack is just lashing out. He’s doing what everybody else has done to him. He wants to get close to Tommy and then betray him, because every time he has supported something, they have given him nothing back, and to him that is betrayal. He wants others to feel his pain, and he wants the source of his pain to go away.
I think that, unlike Niki (Who I think is going to go down with this arc, or change, but is not going to be the same as she was before) Jack Manifold can be okay. I think all that’s missing is some attention and a conversation. A clear example of this is Tubbo. If Tubbo hadn’t given him the bare necessities back in New L’manberg, if Tubbo hadn’t shown him some basic kindness, Jack would be against Tubbo too. All Jack needs is a glimpse of hope, a glimpse of understanding to show that Tommy isn’t an awful person, and I think he’ll stop. I think if he gets that he can understand. To an extent, I think if he understands that, he could even be a close ally to Tommy. They have the potential to work well together with how their personalities are so similar, but they were just stuck on opposite ends of the ever changing tapestry of the Dream SMP.

This just came to me and I need to write this somewhere:
Dreamsmp and Newsies connections
Overall plot of lmanburg has some similarities, group of young boys fighting a “revolution” against unfair treatment from people in charge. Fight battles and end up almost losing and having to give up but end up winning in the end. This next part is a bit of a reach cause it’s more pogtopia butttttt... needed to call in reinforcements to help out, other bad figure appears and has something against brunet leader.
idk what this is but to the two people who might actually read this what are you doing with your lives
ANYWAYS
Tommy: Race
- obvious
- loud
- talks too much
- blonde younger sibling
- impulsive
-annoys brunet older brother figure
- goes through a lot of angst (more in the fandom for Race but still)
Jack: Wilbur
- again pretty obvious
-leader
- brunet older brother figure
- annoyed by younger blond brother figure
- wants to start revolution against unfair treatment from person in charge
- has artistic talent (music/drawing)
- big dreamer but gets dreams sort of crushed
- lot a self blame and guilt
- under pressure do do dododo do
Crutchie: Tubbo
- everyone stereotypes them as sort of weak and sweet and not helpful but is actually a badass and really tough
- small
- Schlatt as Snyder angst when Tubbo/crutchie is arrested to refuge
- cares a lot about his brothers
-In revolution was very important character !! And during lmanburg arc sapnap, George, and Dream like burnt down two of his houses and chased him right?? Am I remembering this wrong—anyway underrated, portrayed wrong in fandoms, goes through a lot
Specs: Ranboo
- AND I LOST MY SHOE!! Has ranboo vibes don’t lie
- if this is the lmanburg revolution then it doesn’t really fit but I wanted to fit him in there
-tall??
- don’t got much else to say it’s been a while since I was in the newsies fandom
- I was gonna make specs Eret but the vibes are not there if anything I was going to put Eret as medda for the extraness but the betrayal part of the story line doesn’t really work unless Eret is Jack and I think Wilbur fits Jack way more anyway I’m not sure Eret sorry
Albert: Fundy
-redhead
-fiery
-funny
-jokes with Race/Tommy
- not really wilburs son in this case but that’s not really possible in this au
- I don’t got much else but I feel it works
Spot: Techno maybeee (or quackity off of vibe)
- for techno:
- strong
- flair for dramatics but at the same time bored
- has a relationship with Jack/Wilbur that seems sort of tense with history but brotherly idk
- high opinion of self
- is come to for help in revolution
- has resources??? idk
- doesn’t like people in charge abusing power
-for quackity:
- leader of own area
- small
- lots of anger in small person
- flair from dramatics
- also has relationship with Wilbur/Jack but doesn’t really connect them so prob techno fits
Morris and Oscar Delancey: George and Sapnap
- listen I read purely angst fanfics and this whole idea came to me because I realized the parallels between newsies and lmanburg revolution fanfics so
- followers of main person in charge
-pair
- strong (seen as threats, people to be scared of)
- Sapnap in particular—tends to be violent instead of talking through conflicts ??
Wiesel: Punz maybe??
- I’m like 98% sure punz was in the lmanburg revolution and killed Wilbur so I’m gonna say this works
- need another villain character
-bought with money and promise of power
-doesn’t do much and isn’t explored as a character in this story arc
- corrupt and likes money
- kinda just follows guy in charge
Pulitzer: Dream
- come on obvious
- not super like connection cause Dream isn’t an old man
- but like main villain guy who is unreasonably upset with this group going against him
- could just lower prices or give them their land and it would barely make a difference for them but no let’s be annoying and villainous bc we’re mean
- manipulative
- power obsessed
- yeah
Snyder: Schlatt
- oookay
- so initially I wanted Dream as Schlatt because I love c!discduo angst and I’ve read a lot of Race at the refuge stuff and Tommy exile stuff BUT for the sake of the story line Dream makes more sense for Pulitzer for the lmanburg revolution cause he’s a more principled villain whose not just like woah this man is just so evil like schlatt (tho c!dream is evil and I hate him—this is just purely the lmanburg revolution arc with a little bit of the pogtopia arc in there so bare with me)
- has a strange grudge and hatred from Jack/Wilbur—seems to be a history there— really wants them to suffer
- General angst provider around tubbo/crutchie
Katherine: Niki/Eret
- now this is where it gets unclear and I’m probably gonna stop because
- (like newsies) there aren’t as many women in the smp that were on the smp at the lmanburg time other than niki who joined after the events im using to make this
- Niki definitely probably fits the best but I don’t just want to like strong women character is strong women character ho ho which is not what this is but I’m finding it harder to make as many connections as others
-I was also thinking Eret due to the sort of betrayal piece of their characters although it’s not really betrayal on Kathrines part but the overall distrust
- also like brings common sense to the revolution and helps out jack/Wilbur write out stuff and organize revolution
- joined a bit later than rest but was crucial to events of revolution
- yeah I’m going with Eret now
Davey: ??
- I don’t have anyone in mind sorry
-in another au I would say Wilbur and Tommy as davey and Les but no
- Sam?? Like no doesn’t work idk
Les: ??
- see above don’t know my b
Romeo: quackity maybe??
- could be like quackity or something maybe but doesn’t really have characterization so I’m not sure I’m bored of writing this anyway
Medda: Puffy
-helpful sweet parental figure
- badass bitch love her
- why not
Not perfect and really fricking long for just a thought dump but the Tommy and Race comparison needed to be made.
Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk entitled “I have ADHD and would rather write an essay regarding the similarities of newsboy musical characters and Minecraft role play characters than do my homework” GOODNIGHT

I wanna talk about random things condidered drugs on the smp (shitpost)
Gapples - Tubbo has overdosed and gotten high on them which is odd since it never happens to anybody else, but what if they only work that way on teenagers? But all of the adults have eaten them often, and Micheal_Beloved has had them given to him by Ranboo, yet Purpled and Ranboo dont eat them often and Tubbo overdosed on them. Therefore, it affects teenagers only (Tommy is immune to everything tho so it doesnt affect him but Techno thought it did which is why he didnt like Tommy eating them constantly they might have been addicting to him)
Protein Powder - Ok so Schlatt died of a heart attack, however it was never explicitly said what it was that killed him, just that he was drinking a lot. Yet alcohol still wouldn't kill him, he was too young for drinking to kill him especially since he barely logged on. But what is more realistic to have killed him? Protein powder. He is part ram, afterall, and they are herbivores, so protein powder must be awful for them to consume at all, especially regularly. This had to have the true reason he died, by clogging up his arteries with food not meant for his species. He then overdosed after too much which caused the heart attack
Catnip/Weednip - here I expose the real reason that cats and creepers dont get along, and that is because they are fighting over the weed. Technically catnip, or as it is called weednip, should only affect cats, and it canonically made Antfrost high. But, then we see Sam ALSO getting high from it, with similar results. Nobody else but foolish gets this reaction (hes a shark so maybe they like weed who knows) so it is shown that catnip only works on cats and creepers and it's like weed to them. Therefore, both species are just trying to chill more than the other, therefore they are at secret war over who can get high and chill more than the other
Potions/Water - honestly they call it alcohol but nobody has ever canonically gotten drunk by it, they just drink it and nothing happens, so its definetly faked to make the mood better since no alcohol exists in canon so it's like an inside joke between the adults
Pufferfish - I think that pufferfish poison just makes people high in the Dsmp universe idk I never had poison in real life so idk how accurate this is.

Alrighty, so.
Philza, Phliza, Philza. Philza Minecraft.
What to make of you?
To start, I think it's important to talk about Phliza's first major appearance on the server - at the end of November 16th.
It's important to think about this Canonically, as it's incredibly impactful to his character.
Now, Phliza, from what we can gather, raised Wilbur and Tommy - Alongside his best friend/surrogate kid, Techno. They're best friends and not related, sure, but you're not gonna tell me Philza didn't raise Techno and Wilbur like they were both his kids.
I guarantee Techno accidentally called Phliza dad at some point, but we're getting off-topic.
What's we do know is that, at some point, everyone left. They went off to do their own things, and this is, to me, incredibly important. I wish we had a timeline of how long it's been since everyone left, because that would help, but the reason why I think this is so important is because I believe it contributes majorly to The way Phliza acts in regards to his kids - but I'll get to that later.
:readmore:
Back to the topic at hand - Philza shows up to find what?
One of his sons is broken down and losing his mind, ready to blow up a city he helped found. The other two are fighting to the death, both utterly convinced they're in the right - and before he can convince his first son to do the right thing, he blows everything up and forces him to kill him.
IMMEDIATELY after that, he's got to help fight off the monsters one of his sons summoned, in the ruins of this town.
It's been less than two months since that day. No wonder Philza says that governments take genuinely nice, kind-hearted people and turn them against each other with power and corruption. He's not just talking about Tubbo and Tommy.
He's talking about Tommy and Techno.
He's talking about Wilbur and Schlatt.
All that Phliza relates L'Manburg to is pain. He doesn't have memories like Tommy and the others do. To him, L'Manburg is the place which drove his first son to madness and eventually led to his death, exiled the second, trapped him under house arrest and tried to execute his best friend right in front of him.
Can you blame him for wanting it gone?
I can't. I genuinely can't think of a single good memory Phil had in that place - apart from a few with Ghostbur and Fundy, but I kinda doubt memories made with the ghost of your son and his son would help lessen the resentment you feel towards the town that killed one and orphaned the other.
Now, I want to move on from L'Manburg and toward Phliza's feelings toward his kids.
See, people say Phliza is a bad father, and I think they're... Not exactly right. Philza isn't so much a bad father as he is an absent one. Let me explain.
I mentioned earlier that Phliza, in canon, had his kids leave, and this is important because it's a show of independence. Sure, they're still young, but that's not the point - the point is that they'd already gone and proven to Philza that they were fine on their own, that they were ready to head out and make their own decisions.
And Philza respects that. He says, very plainly, that if Tommy wants his help he'll come get it.
Philza has the utmost faith in his kids that they'll come to him if they need him, but the issue, I believe, is that this faith has given way to a sense of ignorance. He's so confident that his kids are alright without him, that he's hesitant to make sure they're okay most of the time. Not all of the time - remember, this is the man who left house arrest and went all the way to Techno's base to make sure him and Tommy were okay without them knowing.
It's obvious Phliza still -cares- but he's been gone so long and he's given his children so much freedom that he's practically fallen out of touch with them, and doesn't really know how to fix it. People talk a lot about him not going to Tommy when he was in exile, but what was he supposed to do?
Not only did the majority of the server have no idea what was happening in Exile, he -knows- Tommy. He knows that if he'd shown up and tried to be all fatherly and comforting, Tommy would have most likely taken it as an insult, or as pity.
This brings me, tangentially, onto Ranboo - because Ranboo was someone who needed help, and Philza was happy to help him. He saw Ranboo wasn't okay, so did what he could to help him, after asking if he wanted it - if that's not a fatherly instinct, what is?
It's similar for Technoblade. Techno allies himself with Phil, spends time with Phil, talks to Phil; it's little wonder that he has preference to Techno. This doesn't mean he doesn't love his kids, but you're probably going to spend more time and be more inclined to side with a friend you've known all your life, who's still around, rather than your kids who left on their own journeys.
And it only makes sense you'd hate the people who tried to kill said friend - even if they were members of a town your son loved, and one was your grandchild.
See, I get the feeling that if Tommy or Wilbur went to Philza and told him they wanted help, or that they needed reassurance, he'd give it. He'd be there for them as their father - but the problem is, people treat Phliza like he's a father who's been living in the same house as them this entire time and ignoring his kids in the next room as everything burns down.
In reality, Phliza is a father who's kids have left home already, gone out and carved their own paths. They're young, sure, but they're stubborn, strong willed, independent. He's got faith that, if they need him, they'll come to him and he'll be there.
Fundy is actually a good example of this - when he came to Philza, talking about the adoption, asking for help, Philza let him live with him. He took him fishing. He spent an entire day with his Grandson because he needed it. But Fundy's also independent - Phil isn't the type to check in on him any time he's around because he has faith in them.
Most of all, I believe Philza thinks he's doing the right thing. I believe he thinks that blowing up L'Manburg helped his sons, because to him, all that town ever did was hurt them... Regardless of what the outcome might have been.
Is this due, in part, to the fact that he's likely still grieving over Wilbur? Most likely.
After all, It's only been two months.
At the end of the day, I don't think Philza is a bad father. I think he's a father who watched his kids leave, watched them carve out their own path in life together, and then had to watch one die in front of him. He's a father who cares deeply about his children, but respects who they are and their own independence and has faith they'll come to him if they need him.
The issue is that sometimes, that faith leads to him failing to see when his kids truly do need him - but don't have the words to say it.

a place that feels like home.
Trust was not so easily given, and Philza Minceraft knew this.
Hell, he raised four children that held their own trust issues. He spent years cracking away at them for them to finally feel safe enough to sleep in the same room with him and to turn their backs to him.
So why did he throw away the bond with two, kill the other, but live with the fourth? He knew very well why he did, he played favorites. He didn’t try to of course, but there was just something about Techno that drew Phil to be with him more than the others. Maybe it was the saying that 'Technoblade Never Dies' that he could relate to as ‘The Angel of Death’. Perhaps it was how their childhoods were so similar, where they were taken away from their families and thrown into The Pit, an illegal fight club that wanted to watch blood spill. The most likely thing though, was that they were both fighters.
Wilbur was never a fighter while he lived under Phil's roof, always wanting to hold a pen to write stories than to pick up a sword to spill blood. He was a lovely singer too and could spin melodies from simply plucking the strings of a guitar. Even when he left to make a country and was thrust into an unjust war, he refused to raise his bow unless it was dire.
It was only when his sanity started to deteriorate did he start to raise his sword instead of his guitar. And when Phil heard the words of "Kill me Phil -" after he blew up his own country that he shredded blood, sweat, and tears for, did he know his son was truly gone, replaced with this shell of a human.
Tubbo was like a bluebird; innocent and a hard-worker.
Like Wilbur, he never wanted to harm anyone, which was different from his birth father, Schlatt. He would rather spend his time with the bees in the backyard and play with his bee plushie that he was left with in  the box. He loved to spend time in the garden and nurture the flowers that grew alongside the food.
Tommy was a different case from the other two. While yes, he was a fighter, and a feisty one, he wasn’t the best. He was always so brash and loud, letting the enemy know he was coming from miles away. Techno was much more reserved and quiet and was deadly and to the point in his attacks. Phil saw him at the wars though, and he saw how much his youngest grew in his fighting.
Phil knew that he was too young to be thrust into these wars, too young to have met the face of Death multiple times by now, and too young to have been betrayed by nearly everyone he knew.
But, Phil sighed, there was nothing he could do about it now. The bonds he once had were shattered beyond repair and the three probably hated him by now. The only thing he could do now was to ask Ranboo if he needed a place to stay.
He had given Ranboo one of his feathers days after Techno’s execution, a way of communication that wasn’t able to be tracked by Dream. Phil had seen how the boy had been unwilling to pull the lever and was even hesitant to place Phil under house arrest.
He quickly searched through his satchel looking for the feather that was the main cell. Once he did, he quickly double-tapped the circle that rested at the top and scrolled through the contacts list. There were people from the Antarctic Empire, Ranboo, and then there was his family, Tubbo, Tommy, Fundy, Wilbur, and Techno.
Phil could only hope that Ranboo hadn’t left the feather in his house as the explosions fell down into what once was L’manburg.
With tense shoulders, he pressed the call button.
---
The dripping of water was the only thing that could be heard within the obsidian room beside the shaky breaths of a curled figure who was in one of the back corners.
A cat, Enderchest, meowed, disrupting the silence and rubbing against the leg of their owner in an attempt of comfort. Ranboo could only stare at his memory book as the feather in his hand hovered over the names of the people who were once his friends.
“I . . . I don’t have anyone left . . .” The book was shut with a slam, the title shinning against the lighting that the crying obsidian gave off.
“But,” a shaky sigh escaped through his lips. “I can’t forget them, otherwise I’m just giving up, and if I give up. . .” He stood abruptly which only succeeded in him collapsing down once more due to his unsteady legs.
“Then I’m just weak.”
The feather in his hand crackled to life, startling him before a familiar voice could be heard echoing around the small room. “Hey, Ranboo!”
“Hi, Phil.” The unshed tears in his eyes shone brighter as his voice wavered.
“Did you make it out okay?” Phil sounded concerned for him, for some reason that Ranboo could not fathom.
“Yeah, I’m still alive.” The smell of smoke was strong, even when he was far away from L’manburg. Some part of Ranboo’s mind wondered how long it would last.
“Good, good, where are you right now?”
“Uhm, I’m gonna be in L’manburg soon.” All Ranboo needed to do now was to pull himself out of this funk.
“Okay, good.” The rustling of a wing could be heard. “Do you need a place to stay or are you good?” Ranboo was caught off-guard by this question as images of his destroyed home flashed through his head.
“I- I think I do need a place to stay.” Ranboo sheepishly admitted, pulling himself up from the floor and balancing himself.
“Yeah? What’s been going on with you, by the way? ‘Cause like, we haven’t spoken in a bit, and I- I know that book was very precious to you, but I- I didn’t know exactly why.”
“Oh, it uh, keeps who my friends are in it, so I don’t forget, cause you know I have very bad memory issues.” His armor was put back on in a couple of seconds and he traveled back outside. “So, uh, I keep all of my friendships in the book, which is - has, changed quite a bit from today so I might need to update it.” The Panic Room was covered up once more. “I’ll be in L’manburg in a second- or what used to be. I’ll be in the big hole in a second.”
“I can get there, I can get there. Give me time, give me time.”
Silence fell between the two as they both traveled to the same destination and Ranboo wondered who was going to be the one to break it.
“So where did you go? Were you still around? ‘Cause it was hectic.”
“Yeah, I had a wither chasing me the entire time, so I kinda couldn’t just leave.”
A sharp intake of breath. “Yeah, sorry about that-”
“Oh, it’s okay-” Laughter could be heard from the two males.
“Are you in L’manburg now, by the way?” Phil asked.
Ranboo looked around, confirming his whereabouts. “Oh, uh, yeah, I’m next to the staircase that leads up to the Prime Path.”
“Alright, let me see if I can aim this. It might be off though.” A whoosh of the trident, ad Phil was standing right in front of him, his damaged wing tucked safely against his back. Ranboo hadn’t heard the full story, but from the information he gathered, one of his wings was singed beyond repair and was just dead weight on his back from protecting Wilbur from the heat of the blast. “Oh, this staircase has seen better days.”
That elicited a chuckle out of the taller male. “A lot of this place has seen better days, in case you didn’t realize.” They traversed up the pathway, twisting and turning through the multitude of wooden slabs beneath their feet.
“It’s fine, we needed a change. It had to be done.” Phil waved it off.
“Yeah, actually. I kind of understand why.”
“You got everything you need?” Ranboo skimmed through his inventory.
“Yeah, actually. I had all of my mending books in a secret barrel in my house but I guess I’m not getting those.” Ranboo grimaced at the thought.
They conversed for a while longer, traveling through the Nether before arriving at and entering into Techno’s and Phil’s home.
“Yeah, so you can stay here until we can start working on your house.” Phil gestured to the couch. “I was thinking of building it next to the mountain that’s behind the house, so it would be somewhat ingrained into the mountain but not fully.”
Ranboo could only just nod, not able to fully express his gratitude besides a simple “Thank you.”
Phil smiled at Ranboo. “It’s not a problem mate. It’s the least I could do after destroying your only house. Get some rest, yeah? I should also tell Techno you’re here so he won’t immediately kill you as soon as he sees you.”
Ranboo chuckled nervously. “Oh yeah, that sounds good.”
“Yeah, I’ve got to get going, you’ll be okay on your own, right?” Phil stopped his shuffling to look at Ranboo, and to his relief, avoided eye contact. “Yeah, I’ll be fine. Thank you, again.” Ranboo shited where he stood, opting to stare at the floor.
“As I’ve said before, it’s not a problem mate. I’ll be out for a while, and Techno should be back before I will, bye Ranboo!”
“Bye Phil!”
---
Techno trudged into his house, closing the door behind him before he collapsed against it, the roughed up edges of his armor digging into the wood. His sword rested limply in his hand as he let his body relax. He would definitely have to wash his sword from the blood that stained it.
He pushed away from the door with a groan. The satchels of potions landed on the floors and counters with a thump. He looked around before he spotted a lump laying down on the couch. Techno immediately tensed up, the grip on his blade tightening.
He swiftly but silently went over, his guard never slipping. His sword was raised, ready to be brought down on the intruder, but Techno then saw his face.
It was Ranboo, the kid that Phil had a soft spot for. He blinked a few times before he checked the feather that was clasped to a gold chain and that hung around his neck. He scrolled through a couple of messages, seeing some from Ghostbur, spam from Tommy, and one from both Fundy and Phil.
He clicked on the notification and read what laid before him.
<Ph1lZa whispered to you: I’m letting Ranboo stay with us for the next few days until we can get a new house built for him. I hope that isn’t too much of a hassle. Talk to you soon Tech!>
Techno huffed in response, but put down his sword and slid it back into it’s seath. The feather was then nestled back to where it once was before, and as he was doing that, Techno saw that Ranboo was shivering.
The couch could barely hold him and the blankets he had didn’t seem to be doing much for him. Techno grumbled as he made up his decision. He swiftly picked Ranboo up and brought him up the ladder, careful not to awaken him or disturb him as they made the trip upstairs.
Ranboo was softly placed on the older’s bed, the red cloak that once rested upon Techno’s shoulders was instead acting as a makesift blanket for the taller.

The History Of George Lore
Okay, so this is the history of George Lore in my fic The King’s Final Battle . This is the first character sheet that I plan on making for all the characters. I’m not an artist so please use your imagination of what he would look like!
George was born in the town of Camarvan in Wheat Valley to some (you guessed it) wheat farmers. Unfortunately, he was an only child and from what he remembers of his parents, they weren’t as present in his life than Sapnap’s parents (his best friend) or his aunts and uncles were. When he was 10, his parents slipped into a mysterious coma out of the blue and died in their sleep. He then lived out the rest of his childhood with his aunt and uncle.
Now, George was diagnosed with narcolepsy at a young age and it was common to send him out into the field to work only for him to return back hours later than normal because he fell asleep while working. That didn’t stop him from playing with his friends and having a great childhood.
His friends growing up were Sapnap, Punz, Alyssa, Callahan, and Purpled. He knew about Tommy and his friends but they were very rude to them so George didn’t pay much attention to them. One day, he woke up from sleeping in the field and met a kid his age with a strange mask on him. The new kid was very curious and though George didn’t like him at first, they grew to be great friends in their group; adding Dream to his list of childhood friends at 13.
In the town of Camarvan, there was always contention concerning the state of the kingdom. The king was known as the “puppet king” because he was considered useless. When George was 17 a sorcerer named Wilbur Soot started a business that brought a lot of that tension to a peak. Wilbur had gathered a significant portion of the village to follow him and his ideals of a new country. George didn’t care much about this new ‘country’ even though Dream seemed really upset by it. George fell asleep one afternoon and when he woke up, he found his village raided by Wilbur Soot’s followers. The followers had stolen potion ingredients and while he had slept, Sapnap, Dream, Purpled, Punz, Tubbo and Eret had retaliated for what the followers did.
That was the start of the L’Manberg Revolution.
Wilbur’s nation split off into the woods around Camarvan and set up camp. Before the puppet king could send troops to help the war, Dream gathered an army of the remaining villagers (George included) to stop this revolution while they could. There were many trench battles and sneak attacks that George participated in with his friends but ultimately, he slept through most of the major battles like the Burning of the Wheat Crops and the slaughter of Alyssa when she was caught burning the woods around the Revolution.
During the final battle, George thought for sure that they were going to win and that L’Manberg would be history after Eret betrayed them. Dream had easily bested Tommy (who wasn’t even old enough to work in the field yet) in the duel, but Tommy pulled Dream aside and they made a deal. George didn’t know what that deal was, but Dream came out saying that L’Manberg was its own state within the Esempe Kingdom.
And when the puppet king came with his knights, the king said the same and announced that he would be stepping down from the throne for his long lost younger brother, Eret. King Eret quickly invited George and all his friends to the castle to be trained as official knights for the bravery they showed in the L’Manberg Revolution. George was quick to accept and even quicker to dismiss the L’Manbergians who were also invited.
For the next few years, George trained with his friends to become knights. However, he fell behind in training and progression mostly due to him sleeping through practices. His narcolepsy got worse as time wore on to where he was missing half of the day to one of his sleeping episodes. He always had the most boring dreams as well; sitting in a cream box with nothing in it but him. Sometimes, Dream would be there but mostly, he wasn’t.
While Sapnap became a Captain of the Guards in a year, George was assigned to be a personal guard for King Eret. George was extremely mad about this assignment but all his old Camarvan friends were not around to hear him complain. The only person who he could talk to, was Dream.
Now, George didn’t know what Dream’s role was in the castle, because he didn’t train with the rest of the knights but he was able to just walk in and talk with King Eret whenever he wanted. Dream always had time to talk to George though and even encouraged him to take advantage of his new position of being around court members. Geroge couldn’t stand Wilbur and Squire Tommy but he did become best friends with another squire Quackity.
When George was 19, Quackity woke him up and asked him to be his running mate for the representative seat of L’Manberg. George eagerly took that title and helped campaign with Quackity. He was finally getting recognized for his talents and skills but after the final debate with Wilbur and Tommy, the two approach him and ask him to step away from the election in exchange for him to be on their council once they get reelected. George is tempted but dismisses them after Tommy insults Dream. He finds Dream later to report this to him and falls asleep before he can get everything out.
The next time George wakes up, it’s been a full day and the elections are over. He had slept through the entire thing. That had never happened to him before. Still groggy, he’s told that Schlatt (an old sorcerer turned politician) has won with Quackity, and that George, Tubbo and Fundy are on their council but that Wilbur and Tommy have been exiled. Confused and concerned about the growing rate of his sleeping episodes, Tubbo and Quackity send him to Philza, the Court Sorcerer, for advice. Philza advises him to head to The Badlands (a neighboring kingdom) for treatment and Dream advises him to do the same.
George heads to The Badlands and stumbles on the Pogtopia rebellion while he does so. He sends a letter back to Philza about his son before starting to get treatment from the Court Sorcerer there; Antfrost. Antfrost makes a break through and finds out that George has a sleeping curse that is similar to one made in an ancient civilization called The Eggpire. This curse makes whoever holds it and those binded together by blood and magic degrade until they fall asleep forever at the age of 30; like what happened to George’s parents. That is all they learn about until one day, George gets overwhelmed with magical energy and falls into a coma. In this coma he finds Dream (like all the other times he has fallen asleep) and tells him about his worries. Dream doesn’t take it like George thought he would. Dream is happy that one day George will be able to spend forever with him in this dream cube. He wakes up a week later to learn that George’s sleeping curse now has a ticking time bomb that will put him into an eternal sleep by the age of 21.
Hearing this shocks George and he wonders why he has less time than his parents did, but he goes back to the Esempe Kingdom to live his life to the fullest before he dies. Antfrost and Ambassador BadBoyHalo promise to continue their research in case they find anything more. George comes back to Dream calling him into the throne room and crowning him king in front of everyone. While George loves this new opportunity, he can’t help but let his feelings of frustration leak onto the awake!Dream after what sleeping!Dream said when George slipped into the coma.
With all this power at the age of 20, George tries his hardest to be the best, neutral king he can but everything changes when Technoblade, the Commander of the Army, tries to kill him in the name of Pogtopia. He is sure that he died but he wakes up after passing out to find that Dream is the only one to step in and save him. George feels horrible for being mean to awake!Dream after everything he has done for him. He tries to thank Dream, but Dream feels guilty about putting George on the throne and tries to make him step down. George refuses and so Dream makes him agree to the Esempe fighting against Pogtopia. George also refuses because he wants to remain neutral but before he can say another word, Dream grabs his head and he falls asleep only to realize that Dream could control when George had a sleeping episode this entire time.
George wakes up a couple days later and fights out that Dream lead the Esempe knights and representatives of The Badlands to fight against Pogtopia with Manberg. George is furious with Dream and tries to arrest him when he gets back from the fight only for Dream to have disappeared from amongst the troops. Wilbur is dead, Technoblade and Dream have run after betraying both sides, and Tubbo has stepped up to be the new representative at the age of 17.
George continues to rule and has mysterious meetings with Dream in and out of his sleeping hours where their feelings get confused after drunken kisses. Still, he is declining in health and falls asleep for a week. After he wakes up, he finds out that Camarvan has been burned to the ground by Tommy. Tommy swears that it wasn’t him and that he was possessed by whatever was in these records he has had posession of for the past 6 years. George looks at the records and finds a familiar symbol that Antfrost had shown him when looking at the old records about his sleeping curse.
To make up for burning their home, Geoge demands that the LManberg cabinet go with him to help him break his sleeping curse. The crew sets out together and Dream joins them. They approach old ruins near Camarvan and find an enderman hybrid tending to the ruins of Camarvan. The enderman helps in translating some of the words in the ruins where Tommy had found the records and Dream reacts weirdly to the place. When George tries to help him around this fit, Dream says that if George’s breaks his curse, Dream would make him pay. George continues on with his plan and is able to break his curse with the help of the others and with the help of the ancient lab they found.
They all come back to the castle to find that Dream has reinstated Eret on the throne. As King Eret’s first decree, he exiles Tommy. George is furious and confronts Dream with Sapnap. Dream won’t stand down and so George leaves to make a new state named El Rapids with Karl, Sapnap, and Quackity.
Even after George has left, Dream still visits him in his dreams, but he’s different now. This Dream doesn’t wear the mask and is more kind and confused. George gets the feeling that something is going on with Dream and sends a letter to Antfrost for help.
After a year of establishing the new nation, and secretly planning Dream’s downfall with the L’Manberg cabinet, the second festival of L’Manberg happens. George shows up as a representative of El Rapids and the festival is attacked by Technoblade, Tommy and Dream. The three blow up L’Manberg and George and Sapnap fight Dream on the battlements. George brings up who the mysterious person is in his dreams and sees a physical switch in Dream. For a split second, a new person comes out and they plead with George to save them. After that cry, Dream slips the mask back on and runs away from George.
Tommy is brought back to his senses and he swears that he was possessed again. George gets a letter back from Antfrost inviting him to come research with him. George agrees and asks Tubbo to also research here for them after the bombing opened up a crypt covered in the same language that the ancient lab George was cured in was covered with. George discovers the existence of dreamons in The Badlands and watches as Dream is escorted into the prison here in The Badlands by the Warden Sam.
Convinced that something is happening with Dream, George goes to visit him where Dream tries desperately to convince him that dreamons don’t exist. George won’t believe him and Dream tries to seduce him as a way to prove to distract George. However, George reacts with disgust and knocks Dream away from him. The mysterious second person comes back for a split second and George is able to see that he had not imagined anything at the second festival.
George convinces Sam to let George take Dream with him to the ruins where they can find a way to exorcise him. Tubbo sends word of a book that could potentially help them and George escorts Dream back to the Esempe. Dream fights the whole way and desperately pleads with George not to exorcise him and it pains George to watch him scream in agony as the exorcism takes place. However, the whole time the exorcism happens, George is the only one conscious after everyone reacts as if being burned by fire and pass out.
After the exorcism, George finds the new person and starts to bring him back to health.
Everything after that is Clay rehabiliating, George establishing peace, Clay remembering and atoning for the sins of Dream and a happy ending. Except not, because George gets kidnapped by DreamXD.
I know this is long but if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
