First scene of Chapter 4 is RELEASED!

Hey everyone, the first scene of Chapter 4 is officially out and playable! This is a bit of a shorter one (only about 10k words of new content), bringing the average playthrough up to about 46,000 words. I ran the demo through randomtest and quicktest, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with it, but YOU WILL NEED TO START FROM THE BEGINNING! Old saves will most likely unfortunately not work due to added variables in a past scene.

This update will have you meeting back up with the MCT and holding a meeting discussing the new information to come from the ongoing case, and what the game plan going forward for the team is. I will most likely be adding the case reports to the options menu after the main game is finished and I go back and add a bunch of stuff to it.

That being said, I don't imagine chapter 4 taking me more than a couple months to complete, especially when summer rounds the corner. BUT CHAPTER 5, OH BOY!

OH BOY!

I just did the math in my head and, for chapter 5, there will be a total of 24 different scenes, because there are 6 scenes each with 4 different variations. But that's to cry about at some point in the future, not necessarily right now. For now, enjoy the update everyone!

Also wanted to add, all of the patreon portrait rewards of the RO’s are done! Well, one gender for each RO, until I get the money to get the swappable genders done as well. Right now there is:

I finally finished all of my Bloodlines Book 1 Fan-art that I had started, So here it all is altogether <3

It doesn't look like as much as I thought, but I hope you like it. My art style has kind-of evolved a lot since the first few of these, but I still really love them as a set. My newer stuff (last 2) probably solidified my character designs for Sydney and Adrian but Jill has stayed pretty consistent, as has Eddie.

Did anyone else read this book? I remember reading it in middle school and I thought it was weird. It’s about Katherine Parr’s daughter and Elizabeth I and witchcraft maybe? Idk. There’s a guy named Bartholomew in it I think? And some ableism. Also kidnapping. I might be confusing it with other weird historical fiction novels I read in middle school (most not for kids) but this one is def about Mary Seymour. If you did read lmk what you thought because I want to know if I was the only one raising an eyebrow at this.

Team Leader Hawks’ Scene is Done!

Hey everyone, I just thought I’d let you know exactly what the title indicates. Team Leader Hawks’ scene is finished for chapter 3! That is now S. Ryder and Hawks all finished, and I am now going to be working on Agent Lance’s scene, which should be a really interesting one to write! Lots of angst with the MCT at the moment, and LOTS of one-on-one scenes. I did that purposefully to give you a chance to learn more individually about the characters to understand them and have time to explore them a bit more, since this is a romance heavy IF. After chapter three though, the investigation will take off, and you will be seeing a lot more of the MCT all together or at most split into two teams again. I can’t wait for you all to see how they interact with each other and the MC in a single setting.

I apologize for there being next to no updates on here. School, plus personal issues, plus work has gotten me... jumbled, pretty much the past few months. I can’t promise I’ll be better about it, but I can promise if you send in asks that I am able to answer without risking spoilers, I will do so. I love hearing from you guys and it’s fun answering all the different questions about the MCT that you might have! Thank you again for the support, from the bottom of my heart, it means a hell of a lot.

I just read The Art of Starving by Sam J. Miller. It has a gay Jewish protagonist with an eating disorder. It's amazing and I think I would be a different person if I'd had it as a young person.

SERIOUS HUGE TRIGGER WARNING FOR FOOD RESTRICTION. I'M SERIOUS DON'T EVEN READ THE FIRST PAGE UNTIL YOU ARE IN AN OK PLACE TO DEAL WITH IT.

I found it very triggering BUT the first half was by far the worst and I managed to enjoy the book without reviving some very bad habits by 1. Reading it all the way thru in one day so that if I couldn't eat while reading it, it would just be a short fast, and 2. Having a friend with experience peer counseling others with eating disorders to talk about it with.

I very much recommend this book to anyone, especially boys and young men, who feels at war with their body. It helped me start to work thru stuff I should have done during first puberty.

Again PLEASE make sure you are in a place mentally where you can read triggering content related to disordered eating. It's in diary format, with calorie counts on each day and each chapter begins in second person. But it's so worth the struggle of reading it. The prose is of a quality that makes it feel like a long-form Siken poem in the form of a tortured teen diary. Enjoy and take care of yourself.
