Young Justice - throughout the seasons

Next to Batman TAS, this is my favorite DC cartoon. This series not only has some family drama and personal issues in their plots along with interesting action, this is one of the few DC items that gives Nightwing the spotlight he deserves.

Speaking of which, When Worlds and Dangers Collide might change to this route with some Batman TAS touches.

Currently holding out hope that Rocket chose to exit into Superman’s sanctum and no bad guys noticed her because 1) I need her to be safe and sound (especially after getting screwed out of her own arc’s screentime), 2) because someone needs to find the space team marooned outside in the frigged cold of the arctic circle and wake them up so they a) don’t die of hypothermia, and so b) M’gann breaks Connor out of his base programming, and 3) because as a diehard shipper, I will take any sparse crumb of even the slightest interaction between Rocket and Orion

Black History Month (2023)

February 1st marks the start of Black History Month. It's my hope to show reverence, love, and appreciation for the Black Community in my own way, which, as usual, is by drawing DC characters. There are many more I would've liked to have added (and maybe that will be a project for next year), but these felt like the essential characters to feature (through that DC lense); historical firsts, groundbreaking, both lore and culturally significant characters. Anyway, if I can recommend some Black History-centric DC material, John Ridley's (12 Years a Slave, Let it Fall) Other Side of the DC Universe miniseries really is fantastic.
