Synopsis: Growing up obediently following your empress' shadow, your horizon broaden the moment you met a pirate doning a strawhat who somehow ended up on your island.

Spoilers from the Amazon Lily and Marineford arcs. Reader is a pure sunshine who is both kind and naive. This is mostly focused on yours and Hancock's relationship.

Growing up, all you ever did was listen and obey those who ranks stronger than you. And that person was no other than Boa Hancock, the Empress of your island.

When your mother died unexpectedly, she took you under her watchful eyes. Being only a child at the time, you were unaware of how dangerous your surroundings were. Surrounded by the jungle and waters filled with sea kings, you will never survive.

The women were all like walking on eggshells around you. Your mother was a fearsome warrior that boarded the Kuja Pirates' ship. She was well respected by her peers and because of that, the rest treated you like a delicated flower that deserved to be sheltered.

You were a child without a maternal protection and guidance.

But after being graced by her benelovence, you grew to adore the snake princess and bow to serve her with everything you have. Hancock treated you like how she would treat anyone below her, yet in your child like mind, she was the only one who didn't see you as fragile as glass.

And to repay that, you went and learned the ways of the women in the island.

"Snake Princess, please allow me to serve your every needs! I won't hesistate to do all of them!"

"Snake Princess, I brought you your tea. Just like how you like it..."

"Please leave quietly. The Snake Princess is currently occupied and cannot see an audience."

"My empress, you seems to be slightly fatigued, should I draw a herb bath to soothe your mind and cleanse your body?"

"I'll be on guard by the door if you ever request anything, Snake Princess. I'll be happy to aid you with all of my capabilities...."

You learned and mastered observation haki at a young age as you often went and learned everything that should and shouldn't do around the Pirate Empress. After all, you felt like you owe your life to her.

But that's also when you finally saw through the mask she often wore. She has a deep fear somewhere in her heart that she tried so hard to hide, the same fear that her sisters share with her.

You kept silent about it as you thought it wasn't your place to ask. But after that, you began to see her in a different light.

Boa Hancock is much more valiantly elegant than what you previously thought. And you admire her strong demeanor in hopes that one day, you'll be like her too..

As a Kuja warrior, you strived and hone your skills in hopes of pleasing your Empress even more. You worked harder to be a better version of yourself. You became the best hunter of your tribe while fully adapting to your own snake weapon.

Hancock rarely talk to you, however, she kept you often at her side, doing her bidding.

"What is with that smile on your face?"

"I'm happy, Snake Princess. To be able to prove my worth by serving you, it's the greatest honor..."

Most women would cower under her cold gaze, but you on the other hand, was brave enough to stare back with much admiration, carrying and obeying with a gentle smile on your face. Pure genuine, you didn't fawn over her like how the rest did, nor threw yourself under her feet as she walk pass by.

Everything you do was all voluntary that she didn't even have to use her charms to force you to obey.

Eventually, your obedience lead to Hancock trusting you completely. Becoming her right hand woman, whom she could trust Amazon Lily with. She know that you will never betray her with how much dedicated you are on serving her.

You were too kind. Whenever she looks out on the window of the castle, she would often see you helping out your fellow women with a huge smile on your face. Every requests thrown at your direction, you immediately agreed on, as if rejection is not on your vocabulary.

She knew by then, that she chosen the right person to trust on.

The first time you actually met a man, was when Hancock commanded you to stay back on the island as she sails away with her sisters and the elite warriors of the tribe.

"Snake Princess, why do I have stay here? I am confident in my abilities that I won't be considered as a hinder.."

You pleaded, carefully observing her reactions if ever you annoyed her with your words. To be near Hancock, means that you have to be careful not to anger her to avoid loosing her favor on you.

"You are not ready to sail on the Perfume Yuda yet. So use that strength on keeping this island safe until I return..."

Being often near the snake princess, gave you privilage to lead your fellow warriors whenever she and her sisters are not around. They listen to your instructions carefully and proceed to do their respective chores dedicatedly.

As you were given the task of protecting the island by Hancock herself, you took the initiative of scouting the jungle along side three other woman named Marguerite, Sweet Pea and Aphelandra.

"While we're here, should we perhaps hunt a beast for today's lunch?"

You asked the trio, hoping to bring a good feast for the warriors who scouted the other areas of the island, but before anyone could respond, you all notice smoke coming from the far side of the jungle. Wordlessly, you gave the women a commanding look before running off to the source with them following behind.

And that's how you met the strange man now called Luffy.

You found him beatened and unconcious with mushroom growing on his body. Not knowing his identity before hand, your pity for the injured had allowed him to enter the village.

Allowing Belladona and the rest of the women to tend his wounds, you and Marguerite provided on sewing new clothes identical to his previous tattered ones.

Marguerite embroidered floral patterns on the vest and you sewed a new pair of clean shorts.

Until the elder, Nyon revealed his identity of being a man.

"So this is what a man look like....?"

Unlike the rest of the women who all got defensive on his sudden outburst, you on the other hand could only continue to stare with curiosity.

Because you could clearly see his intentions. He was annoyed with how the rest wanted to pull his balls of gold, how feminine his clothes were and how tense he was when weapons pointed at his direction.

Yet you can see the desperation on his eyes. His desperation to leave the island, and return to his friends, atleast from what you heard him shout.

"Wait, stop...!"

You told the women to cease all actions but it was then, their arrows rained towards his cell, forcing himself to break out.

"He is not a threat!"

"(Name) all men who enters this island must be eliminated. That is the rules given by our ancestors that is upholded for centuries!"

Kikyo scolded you. Reminding you of where your loyalty lies. If your Empress ever finds out that a man entered the island under your supervision, you knew that you'll be the one paying for the consequences.

You feared to see the disappointment, Hancock would send you once she finds out. Hate to have suddenly betrayed her trust of getting fooled by a man whom you allowed to enter in the island. And you hate to disappoint her.

But the women are willing to help you out by pretending that this had never happened. Once you capture the man and kill him, this will all be a forgotten event. Boa Hancock will never know that a man soiled her land with his filt....right?

So with a conflicted thought, you went with the rest to pursue the strawhat wearing man.

Somehow, you found yourself being held hostaged by the same man. At first, you and the other Kuja warriors were all chasing after him through out the village, when all of sudden, he turned around to face you.

Looking through the crowd of women, his eyes landed on to your guarded ones, stretching his arm, he immediately wrapped them around you before running off.

He kidnapped you, atleast that what you thought as he made his way out to the village with you in his arms.

"I need that paper back..."

He was after the paper you found on his tattered clothes. You stared at him warily as your snake slithered from your shoulders to your arm, forming into your weapon. You hoped that you wouldn't be using it against him but you can't avoid taking that risk.

You stared at his impatient form, silently observing his every move. You can tell that he has no intentions of fighting you either.

"You mean this....? What does it do...?"

Curiosity over took your judgement as you pulled out the paper to his field of vision. Seeing the absolute relief on his face made you lower your guard a little. What was the importance of a small piece of paper with a name written on it?

"My friends and I got separated, I need this paper to see them again."

"Who...are you anyways...?"

"I'm Monkey D. Luffy. I'm a pirate..!"

He spoke with a boyish grin on his face that you couldn't help but reprocate. He kept his distance seeing how you weren't comfortable being near a man....yet. He spoke fondly of his crew.

Like how you often spoke about the Snake Princess.

"The Snake Princess rules this island, she's wary of outsiders like you, but once you see through the mask she often wore, you can see how caring she's really is...!"

"I see! You really like the boss of this place, huh..? She must be really nice then."

You didn't realized that you were talking rather eagerly like you knew him for years already until you hear his laughter. Feeling slightly embarrased that you lost your composure, you immediately went to defend yourself.

"D-don't get ahead of yourself, man! Just because I'm talking to you, doesn't mean I'll let you do what you want here... No men are allowed on this island!"

You were already getting attached to him, he doesn't seem to be a threat at all. You thought as you saved him from drowning after his attempt to make a raft.

And before you could even think about helping him escape, the defense warrior group finally found the two of you in which he decided to flee.

By the time, you caught up to him, you knew it was already too late. Hancock was already aware of his presence and had ordered for his capture after he crashed on her chambers when she was bathing.

"Where were you, (Name)?"

You couldn't face her, you could only stand behind her with her sister Marigold on your front.

"Forgive me, Snake Princess... I was out there trying to capture that man..."

Boa Hancock is a rather observative woman. She observes people who falls under her rules. She knows her worth and what she is capable of and use it for her advantage.

Imagine to her slight surprise, you weren't there to greet her return at the end of the red carpet. That was her first suspicion, you never failed to show up first whenever she returns to the Island after weeks on sea.

She got even more suspicious when every woman she came across to lied when she asked of your wherebouts. Their only replied was, you had to hunt down a troublesome monkey that involves the rest of the island's defense troupe.

So when this man appeared, she knew she has to demonstrate a taste of her power to all of the women on the island. You included. She is the Empress, and it is her duty to protect the women under her care. She ought to show an example of how truly vile men are.

You who were oblivious of how truly cruel the world is. Too kind and obedient for her liking yet she couldn't find the heart to tell you off. She wasn't blind to see the adoration on your face whenever she is nearby. Nor she was oblivious to how genuine your actions were. She can see the unwavering loyalty you shown for her.

However she wasn't expecting you to grow attached to Luffy.

She noticed how your behavior shifted to tense and discomfort seeing him fight in that arena.

"What is it, (Name)?"

"Nothing, my empress..."

She could applaud you keeping your emotions in check. However, she found herself staring at you in disbelief when your cool finally broke when Marguerite, Sweet Pea and Aphelandra step in, attempt to save Luffy.

"My apologies, but I was the one who brought him to the village. If anyone deserves to be punished, it should be me. Those three merely followed my orders."

"You know what happens to those who defy me, (Name). Why are you defending the guilty?"

Taking up the courage, you managed to look her directly in the eyes. Those cold and dull hues that holds deeper emotions within. With a deep breath, you gave her your usual smiles.

Your compassionate smile of purity.

"I was the one who allowed permission for him to enter the village, my empress. So I should be the one held accountable. Marguerite, Sweet Pea and Aphelandra did nothing wrong, so please allow me to take their punishment alone.

You pleaded them to be spared. Seeing how you are willing to take the risks of saving the girls including Luffy slightly wavered her resolved.

"....You disappointed me, (Name).."

But she is still the Empress, and she has to show her authority over the island. Knowing full well that her powers could not affect you in any way, she asked a few warriors to take you away. You who looked back at her with a dejected face.

The man wearing a strawhat look angry on your behalf. He fought bravely against her sisters, demanding to set you free as you were innocent from all of this.

"She did nothing wrong! She was only trying to save me!"

Hancock kept her composure as she watched the battle raged on. What was so special about this man that you were willingly to defend him.

You were just too kind that it slightly annoyed her. You should only reserve it to her and her people alone. Your kindness shouldn't be shown to filthy men who will only take advantage of you.

This was the first defiance you've ever done. Hancock gritted her teeth as memories flashed between her eyes, ransacking every single one, yet she didn't remember you showing any disobedience like this before.

Just when she was starting to treasure you.

Only when the battle was over, she finally understood. Luffy was kind in his own way. Is that why you defended him? Because you were aware that he was not like those men who once trespassed the island?

Luffy seems to know the secret she was so desperate of hiding, so does that means that you already know? What do you see in her now?

Only when she was finally alone in her room, was she began breaking down, silent tears fell down as she didn't want her sisters to hear. Having you by her side for years as her closest aide made her conflicted. She only kept you nearby was because of pity.

You loosing your mother at such a young age. Your mother who was apart of her crew, died at sea because of her warrior pride to protect the rest. It was by guilt, your mother's death at her ship is what made her take you under her wing.

She watched you grow up into a formidable warrior serving her with nothing but pure genuine adoration. It was nothing like the lust thrown to her way by both genders whenever she was present.

It was a gaze of a child with innocent admiration. You look up to her as a person and not just someone with otherworldy beauty.

Which is why she didn't let you join her crew. Giving excuses that you weren't strong enough to travel the seas on her ship. She didn't want you to see how vicious and filthy this world truly is. Nor for people to take advantage of your kindness.

What will happen if you knew the truth? It was her selfishness that killed your mother. Her selfish orders is what caused your mother to loose her life. Will you still have the same look on your face if you ever find out her slave mark? Or are you already aware of it?

Knowing you for years, no. You would never look at her differently even after she told you her secret. But the truth? It was because of her that you grew up without your mother's tender love and care.

But even so, she gave in with her fears. Through out the years, even she tried hard to push you away with her cold atittude, you still managed to find a place in her heart.

You were patient with her. Serving her with a bright smile that herself couldn't help but grew fond of. You tolerate her bratty attitude and beauty even when she knew that didn't have any affect on you. Only you were the one who can see through her lies and stayed.

But Hancock is a selfish woman, she was drawn to your warmth that she decided to keep you close, Because she was selfish, she only wants to keep your kindness to herself.

Because being around you, she can be a regular person that people never fawn on. Not like a luxurious item that people wanted to have, but a person who has her own feelings and wants.

All she hope is that you would forgive her like how you always do.

One Piece Chapter 1096 - Initial Thoughts

And we are back

Had a feeling this one would come early though. The Kuma flashback is in swing and we are in a very historically point of intrigue

However it is also 8 weeks since we last saw Nico Robin and it'll likely end up being double digits at this rate

Still, let's not rush this flashback, let's see what it has to offer

The trend of monkeys on the cover is ended by Chihuahuas beating Zoro at musical chairs XD Still though top 3

We're back into hunger games as the Celestial Dragons explain how all the inhabitants are 'rabbits' all worth points; 1 hit kills get you a bonus but there are also 150 rare kills worth more, and 13 super rare worth 10,000 points, the same amount Garling was deducted

There's also prizes apparently, sickening stuff

Garling looked a bit like Zoro and Shanks there as he talks big game

Mannmeyer family woman might be interesting, face is obscured, same for gas mask dude

The last one looks kinda like that Whitebeard Commander too

Of course, the natives of God Valley are confused and panicked by the situation, and are offered no mercy by the dragons who simply tell them to give them a good chase

At the Navy, Garp is being called for support, but he's not biting

Rare appearance from Fleet Admiral Kong too

Young Garp is lapping it up by the pool, but he thinks he's being called because of what the Navy did to the Rocks pirates

Seems they stole something, a 'crown jewel' they say

Ironic though that Garp is all 'you can't shake the hive' and then over 30 years later showing up to shake the hive

Seems like the intel was supposed to be kept on the down low though

Garp won't protect the Dragons from Rocks, but he's leapt out of his deck chair for Roger

So much Luffy energy when he's relaxing too, though I guess God Valley was when he started getting more serious

The Rocks pirates are already on the move too, having left Fullalead without the rest of their inhabitants

Ivankov narrates something more true than they realise, this will be a big moment made forgotten history

10,000 civilians hunted for sport, and Oda's not holding back despite current events

Urgh and the slaves all have target marks on their back

Ivankov has to drill home that nobody is going to survive, the idea that they'll be let go if they survive 3 weeks is just a way to satisfy the dragons

Garling has been chasing the bigger prizes and has thus broke even already

All in front of an audience in Marejois via Den Den Mushi too

Ivankov's chains are bitten off by a Shark Fishman, who Ivankov praises, I wonder if that was Arlong and Shyarly's father?

Ginny (they're sticking with the G) is a bit of a thief and an wiretapper it seems, leaking information to the world 2 weeks prior to create chaos while they escape

The plan requires the prizes; Devil Fruits, the Paw-Paw Fruit and the Fish Fish Fruit: Model Azure Dragon, which are at the center of the island

She makes a point in saying that Kaido's is classed among the strongest of Devil Fruits, and that the Paw-Paw Fruit is a secondary plan because it can blast things away

Kuma also volunteers to be a decoy, his strength and bulkiness being cited as increasing his chances to survive

His resolve does impress Ivankov and Ginny too

Rocks are heeeeeere!

Alas we don't see Rocks D. Xebec, but we do see all the youthful members of the crew

Whitebeard reprimands Rocks for running ahead, with Buckingham Stussy hanging off his shoulder

Seemed Stussy had competition from a Kuja, so the big surprise here: Elder Nyon (Gloriosa) was a Rocks Pirate member, not Shakky like the theories

Canon Manga Debut for Shiki as well, as Big Mom and Kaido argue with the group, also Captain John is there drinking much like he did as a Zombie

No sign of who Ochoku was though, could be the guy to Whitebeard's left (our right)

Seems Rocks wasn't here for the Celestial Dragons though, the pirates were looking for something, and they're all gonna fight even each other to get it

Ochoku could also be the 2 people underneath Gloriosa in the 3 way panel, helmet dude or the very shaded hat man

But from the other side: the Roger Pirates!

Tacheless Roger with the Straw Hat, and prime Rayleigh and Gaban, but there's also a big dude, a Viking Dude and someone in a snug coat

God look how much Roger looks like Ace, and he's been itching for a fight all year

We see a couple more God's Knights too, there's a woman and a tall dude? I dunno every time I look it looks like he's beheaded, he doesn't have the armour, but we have the woman

The chaos has earned a reprieve for the inhabitants, the farmers look a tiny bit like the Milk girl Moda from Lulusia

The younger marines don't like their chances

Until Garp arrives!

Gotta have a good reputation if Garp reassures you against Rocks AND Roger

Bogard my man is still there, the others I don't recognize though

Even more carnage leads to Kuma and Ivankov getting the fruits they want

But alas, Child Abuse, Big Mom getting that in early to knock away Ivankov and get the Fish Fruit which she will use on Kaido

Through Ivankov's encouragement, Kuma eats the fruit before Linlin can get to him

But as Ivankov rallies that saving at least 1 person will be a victory, more child abuse! This time Saturn comes to deck Kuma

Man headshots marines, Bonney and Sanji but he went for ol' fashioned fisticuffs with Kuma

There has been a lot of touching tha child here, DON'T TOUCHA THA CHILD!

"I don't understand how someone can be born to be more or less important" god what a line that is

Stood before Saturn, Kuma notes that now that he has power, he's gonna save as many as he can, just like Nika

And Saturn doesn't like that, seems that the idolization of Nika is what led to the genocide of the Buccaneers

ACOC lightning hums around God Valley as Roger and Rocks fight, it seems Rocks was trying to get to something while Roger was trying to interact

But Oda, brilliant but awful as he is, decides that's it, no more God Valley content...

Sir we needed more, we didn't even see Rocks, or why Kaido needed the fruit to survive, or Ochoku, or why it's made out that Garp and Roger were teaming up to protect the Celestial Dragons because clearly they were not

But alas, back at the Sorbet kingdom we have the aftermath

Ivankov laments that Morgans only lapped up Garp's heroics, and that he's a WG kissass

Kuma however is praying in a church, lamenting that he could've saved more

Turns out he saved 500 people though, which is a lot given how many big names were there, and that last we saw he was staring down a Gorosei

Ginny has now nicknamed Kuma the chapter's title, Kumachi, which could be written the same way as Perona's bear Kumacy not entirely sure

But Ivankov adds praise to Kuma's efforts, calling his paws the Hands of Liberation

Ivankov doesn't stick around though, heading off to sea to enjoy their freedom

"I'll never forget your face for as long as I live" oof right in the Marineford

Ginny however opts to stay in Sorbet living in a church with Kuma

Make no mistake though, Ginny's the boss, despite being a third his size she has the age factor

Chopping wood like the SBS artwork of young Kuma as they seek to feed themselves on hard work

Ginny also beats up bullies that throw stones at Kuma thinking he's lying about being 9

But Kuma as a gentle soul uses his fruit to remove the pain

Ginny is a glutton, much like her potential children/clone maybe? As Kuma offers her more of his food

They've both spent at least 5 years as a slave (since both became slaves at 4, and Kuma is 9 while Ginny is somehow 13)

But the sensation of finally feeling full makes Ginny tear up with joy, which of course makes Kuma cry too

So sweet, it's all gonna go to shit ain't it?

Well it was definitely an inviting chapter

Though I am a bit sore that we got blueballed a lot with God Valley, so many questions still left unanswered as Oda teases us. The Devil Fruits as prizes make sense though, wonder if there were more, Rocks was after something after all. Wonder if the Ope Ope no Mi was considered a prize? I doubt the Gomu Gomu no Mi was a prize though think the Gorosei would've wanted that under lock and key, maybe Doffy's fruit? or the Yami Yami no Mi? or Marco's fruit? or that Egg on Roger's Ship during the Oden flashback? Did Garling throw his son up as a prize? Answers Oda you're supposed to give Answers! We got a lot of teases though; God's Knights, other Rocks crewmates, Stussy potentially indeed being a thing with Whitebeard but atm it seems more like she was dangling off him (she was listed as a 'freeloader' in MADS, wonder if clone Stussy will have a larger role too in present because she did get sidelined quickly), also seems like Gloriosa was interested was Whitebeard the man she had love sickness for? Also got potential ancestors who were God Valley slaves. Kuma saving 500 is still super impressive too, how did he get away from Saturn? How many generations of that 500 still exist today?

But we do seem to have the blooming of Kuma and maybe a relationship with him and Ginny. It's unclear but I think the Luffy's mom bit is even lower a possibility now, still thinking that Bonney is a clone of Ginny though, wouldn't mind if she was a biological daughter it'd just make the wording of Kuma being the last Buccaneer a bit weird.

It does further fuel the idea that Kuma is gonna show up in Egghead too, but the flashback only further fuels the layer of tragedy that has befell Kuma, man has suffered so much and he continues to lose so much, this flashback has the capacity to break us.

At the least there's no break, but the wait will be long and painful regardless.

What if Anime Characters (Especially Japanese) have Chinese, Korean, and English names - Sarazanmai ver.

1. Kazuki Yasaka (矢逆 一稀)

Etymology: Kazuki's Kanji name (一稀) = 一 means "one"; 稀 means "rare/sparse/unique/thin" * Chinese Name: 矢逆 一稀 (Shǐnì Yīxī) → If he has a Chinese name, I'll name him 石一稀 (Shí Yīxī). * Korean Name: 시역일희 (Shiyeok Ilhee) → If he has a Korean name, I'll name him 석일희 (Seok Ilhee). Thinking about the Kuja pirates and their snake companions/weopeons some world building ideas :

Each Kuka born will receive a snake to be their companion

It happens around the age of 5/6

their taken to a place on the island where the snakes are kept/ breed

each Kuja will chose their companion snake, it will be a friend for the rest of their lives.

each snake has there own personality and is also apart of the choosing bonding process

All young Kuja and they snakes will train together to be able to from the snake companion into the bows, staff,etc we see in the manga/anime

Queer history of Final Fantasy

I am replaying all the old final fantasies(mostly psp psone releases), first time with english localization and not the original jp.

Now i get it.

It all make sense now.

I couldn't understand the wave of "why shove the gays in our face" backlash of 16(even though, the non homophobic felt it was lacking since they didn't want to 'push it in yall face'). Like apperantly moat of the implication or straight up fruity moments in the old game was completely removed, or changed to the point of it being a 'silly thing'.

So lets clarify -

*Cecil(iv), your homeboy- an Non-binary (language is the best indication, but yeah i think it was a decision made for both female and male players to be able to relate to them, but yeah funny outcome non the less)

*Bartz(v)- outright bisexual, they didnt even hide it- next person on this list gonna make it make sense.

*faris(v)- an ftm transgender( at least in the original version, i know in some new iterations they scrapped the whole concept, but left it in in others?)- mainly speak about himself with (ore/boku- which is conventionally usally by male speakers), after finding out soem of the cast either use a female pronounce on him, but bartz constantly either avoid it or use male pronounce(or the nonbinary version which is usually reffered to kidz) but yeah, bartz was crushing on faris where he thought he was a cis male and unlike the other guy didnt shy away.

Lets jump a bit to 8-

Irvine(viii)- even though considered very handsome to the point he could get with any girl hed want, was even flirted with by selphie i think i need to remember, but he usually brush it off.

If anything he is either asexual, or gay(its very subtle, but its what called queer coding, and well see that allot from now on cause japan caught up to westerns norm on media)

Quina Quen (ix)- literally, a nonbinary- but i think they kept it in eng as well cause they are not human, but like black mages they have no sex, but unlike black mages they are 'genderless' and dont care for human norms.

Kuja(ix)- either gay/intersex/both.

Seriously that character confused a whole generation sexuality.

Like sephiroth, but unlike sephiroth he also have effeminate mannerisms, and until it was revealed by text it wasnt so obvious.sephiroth in jp have a confusing language because he himself is possed by jenova, so evem though i love this headcanon, sephiroth isnt trans actually.

Auron(x)- ahh yes, your favourite broody guy and probably where im gonna get tons of hate.

Auron is very subtle, but once you notice it its hard to deny.

I think Auron is gay, unlike jecht or braska- he did not have kids, denied arranged marriage, and followed jecht to dream zanarken just to save jecht only son- it was pretty obvious that auron loved jecht. He also loved braska but not as much, and it shows- that for auron it was more than friendship. You can see it with his attitude towards yuna vs tidus- with yuna he is nicer, politer. Liem you act when you babysit your friends /cousins child.

But to tidus, he is a full father figure.In their journey together they grow, and i think if he wasnt the boy of the man he loved he wouldn't treat tidus as his own. With all the scoldinngs in mind.

Paine(X-2)- qlmost forgot her, but yeah she's pretty gay for riku

I dont remember much though because if the mission structure of the game.

Larsa(xii) - ohh i see you boy, i see u. He is sus as hell. He is a kid so its pretty innocent(and relatable to us queer kidz)

Its pretty obvios that he is crushing on basch, innocently though. I know some ppl who shipped him with penelo, but canonically by spinoffs at least she and vann are an item.

Also they made sure it was obvious cause japan have this thing that a young character is crushing on a teacher,mentor , older characters in general(aka cc sakura- her friend crushing on a teacher, syaoran & sakura crushing on yukito, also happens in tons of pop culture media at that time, so im not surprised, but im happy this time its one sided, THANK GOD)

But yeah if you reached the ending its pretty obvious.

Fang & vanille(xiii)- the first lesbians couple! Terra(VI) was supposed to be the first but they were afraid it will make her less marketable so they scrapped her gf. They made them clear, but at the same time they tried to make sure pple wont be fetishizing them(they tried, at least).

I want to explain their story more but i think ill mess it up since i tend to mix up 13's lacie, falcie and all that jazz.

So ill just say that basically there are 2 world in 13, pulse and cacoon. Pulse is basically earth and cacoon is the moon. There is a god for each world called a falcie.

Few of them but ine for each major ones. Our main gand from cacoon, branded by a falcie to be slaves(lacie) vanille and fang are from pulse, and slaves of pulse lacie, so basically they are with the task of creating Ragnarok which is like the end of time and but limw they dont know cause the gods in this game is like 'yeah imma give you a mission but wont tell you beside weird non undersandable feaver dream and you need to figure out and fast or youll become this universe version of zombie, and if you do complete it you become a ceystal living forever but like, sleeping beauty style. So lose lose situation.

The focus of them both is different from the gang, caus the falcie of cacoon is evil so he gove them focus destroying cocoon while if fang& vannile mannaged to ruin that falcie and bring ragnarok theyll become a crystal, and they used it to save coccon from falling and crushing killing all the people in it, basically became a pillar in eternal sleep when they hheld each other.

But they are saved in later game only to... Lightning return which we wont talk about cause i hate timers.

I love the story of xiii, big part of it is vanille & fang, i havent played in english yet, but i will say, their story is one of the more meaningful on this list, very well developed and i will do it disservice if id try to explain it in few sentences - so do yourself a favour and play or watch the playthrough.

Ignis& gladio(xv)- here is when localization ruimed it. I know cause i palyed on jp dub with eng sub and heard the differences live- first of all gladio and ignis are completely different in jp, as individuals and as a pair- they were supposed to be the first dion& terrence moment, but it got scrapped and they went the vannile& fang route, only that bec they are men, the localization team missed the mark.

Gladio got pissed at noctis in the train because of ignis.

In jp its clear their bond is beyond friends, and not mention the fact that their AI is always stuck together, and that gladio isnt a womenizer in jp at all, and there is no fiancee/girlfriend.

In jp he said suggested there is someone he wants to be with but bec of the state of the world and them both being constantly in the battlefront he couldnt ask.

(and ignis clear his throat when everyone is like oh great, very subtle but it was leading to that)

Every stop of the train or erea post blindness gladio was with ignis not leaving him .

Also tabata san also said that they are more than friends. So there's that too.

But its no secret 15 localization is tereible, the massacared prompto, he is so cringy in english, in jp yeah he is funny but like he says more stuff then random pop colture references, he breaks the 4th wall occasionally but not on the same level of the localization. Also, jp noctis is a little shit because he can and will, in localization he is more relatable while ignos and gladio are kimda mean. In jp its the other way around and up until chap 13 (when he is alone) noctis is a bratt. He has some moments when he is nicer, but when struggle shows he is a bratt about it- and its done purposely since he is a spoiled pronce who never done anything alone in his life.

Thats why in chap 13 he has a change of heart, because he was alone and learned to appriciate his friends when he was stuck alone in the dark with no weapons and i think it was a good call storytelling wise, but yeah the english localzation ruined it and made the whole chapter pointless .

Those are the implied/canon gays of final fantasy up to 15(we got a kiss so its obvious).

The series has always been kinda Fruity and i know some of yall will be like, 'but there's no proof'. Well, japanese speakers(who arent homophobic at least) will agree with me that we tend in media that is not specified like BL or GL to make things subtle. So what in the west is called 'queer coding' is very common in japanese media and it comes in way more shape and forms.usually implied with a desper conncetion relationship or linguistics.its funny cause in the 80's and very early 90's gay pple wasnt hidden in jp pop culture (no kisses or anything but it was straight out told to the viewer/player)

And only later 90's there was a trend of removing us completely from the media, but around that time a specific genre was created so it wasn't out completely.(like yaoi/yuri as erotic mangas existed aince the 80's but usually only love stories or main gay characters were mixed in with the straight media, kimda like what netflix does today, but around 96, 97 the shounen ai and shoujo ai genres rose in popularity(mainly cause of clamp) and things got seperated. In games- because it became a bigger deal in the west square took caution with how clear they gonna make stiff not to piss of the christians after the backlash of Pokemon (idk how it was really but through japanese media and news it seemed at the times that the american patents were pissed so game companies started sensoring their games from all things might piss off christians/monotheistics ).

I find it difficult to articulate why I like him so much... You could just sum it up as a simple 'I unfortunately relate to him'.

Since I already say that Cody had a bad first encounter with the Marines, and the fact that slowly Cody (Frankie and Priscilla) are getting more atention with their bounties, and the fact that they are part of some of the most dangerous pirates.

Do you think that maybe the Marines would "think" on what they did and take the kids out of the pirates hands?? If Marines like Koby could try and talk to them so the kids come to "safety"?

But then Cody tells him that a man with magma powers hurt him and wanted to take little Griffin away, how would the Marines react to that?? I guess that it will depend if they are good or bad Marines...

The thing is that a majority of Marines are sort of already conditioned or are just in the unfortunate position to obey any order given by the World Goverment, the same one that gave Nico Robin a 79,000,000 at just age 8. While some could think it's tragic most would just guess that there must have been a good reason for it especially for the governments habit of propaganda.

So must Marines who encountered the kids would assume there members of the crew and try to capture them. Maybe underestimating them at first as easy arrest.

For the few Marines that would be worried for the kids it depend on the crew they were with.

Any Marines who really knew the Strawhats, like Koby, Smoker, Tashigi, Garp, and even Aokiji wouldn't be that worried. Despite being pirates the Strawhats aren't a threat to anyone other than those that choose to attack them. Besides probably one of the safest places for a person wanted by the World Goverment would be with them, look at Robin for example. But they would recommend that any kids they have perhaps settle somewhere safe to avoid being seen as even bigger threats to the World Goverment.

Law would be another story, one that depends if he's still a warlord, most of the Marines don't trust him but would respect that him and members of his crew "officially" worked with the Navy. But after Laws netrayal that would change and everyone on Laws crew would be honsidered a criminal. Pricsilla would also be viewed as a threat on how deadly her Devil Fruit Powers could be.

As for Kid, given how Kid and his crew already have a reputation of destroying most Marine vessels and having a pretty high casualties count of both Marines and civilians, anyone if the crew would have been seen as an immediate threat even if they were kids. Especially if it was seen that Cody (who was probably ordered too) attacked a Marine ship.

So yeah while most Marines would feel a little bad that kids were parts of pirate crews they still see it as there duty to try to bring them in. And about rescuing them its unlikely ether, lots of kids or young people join pirate crews at different ages like the Donquixote Pirates, the Kuja Pirates, even Roger let Shanks and Buggy join when they were age 9.

It's an unfortunate truth.

As if Koby heard about this he be confused at why Luffy has a kid on his crew but not worried, Law and Kid be another story and something he feel sorry for.

As for if he meets Kody and finds out about Akainu.

If most Marines found out Akainu attacked Cody they feel a little bad but not enough to go against him, to go against Akainu who is the current Fleet Admiral is practically a death sentence given that the man has killed Marines for disobey him and nearly killed Koby himself.

So yeah Koby isn't a fan.

Koby meeting Cody and finding our about his trauma with Akinue would apologize, the Marines are supposed to protect people and he's sorry that there are parts of the organization that don't live up to that. He might even try to offer Cody an escape or a chance to get away from Kid so he could be taken to a safe island or village to set up a new life there. Something he offer to Frankie and Priscilla

Though it's doubtful the kids would take him up on it, given that being out on sea is the best chance at finding the phenomenon that sent them there.

Also Cody would be still maybe a little mistrustful of Marines. It was a real shock to him what happened, all his life, he was taught to go to law enforcement if he was ever in any trouble.

It was the case at first with the first Marines he met, treating him kindly and prepared to help him. Only to turn cold and aggressive when given orders by there supervisors to apprehend him.

I want to preface this by saying that this is meant to be kind of a shitpost. I just. The thought passed my mind. I laughed at it. Thought about it again, laughed some more and I just had to get it out of my system. So here we are

So when I read the myth of Toyotama Hime I did start to wonder if it could be used as fuel for the Crocodad Fire, the myth being about Toyotama coming from Ryuugyuu Castle to give birth on land etc. And in One Piece, we do have that very castle on Fishman Island. Which isn't surprising or anything, Oda getting inspo/names from various mythologies is nothing new by a long shot, and it's unlikely you could somehow tie Crocodile to Fishman Island through that myth. Like Toyotama coming "from the ocean" could just be turned into "Crocodile coming from the sea as a pirate", doesn't have to be deeper than that

But then I thought

So between that and us having The Most Scandalous Feet Pics of Sir Crocodile (from the jailbreak cover story), well, we know he has basic ass human feet, so we know for certain he can't be half-merman

But also

Chimney is 1/4th mermaid. The only mermaid features she inherited from her grandmother were her hair color and her being a "good swimmer". Chimney is part-mermaid, and she has human feet

Like the only thing that could debunk this idea (based on what we know about Chimney) would be if Crocodile was a shit swimmer, but he's a Devil Fruit user so of course he can't fucking swim. So we have literally nothing to prove or debunk the idea.

Not only would it weirdly explain why the fuck our beloved Sand Man Who Can't Fucking Swim is named after an animal known for swimming (like OP has weird fucking names, see; Smoker, Baby 5, Monkey D. Dragon, etc. What bugs me about Crocodile is the slightly contradictatory theming, but if he was named "Crocodile" by his merfolk parents, suddenly, it kind of works)

But also like. We know Crocodile fucking Hates the Government. And to be fair, there's plenty of reasons for anyone to hate the World Government, you don't need a personal grudge to hate them.

But if he had merfolk parents (who might be stuck living on the surface because they wouldn't have been able to get their child to Fishman Island without someone essentially delivering him there, 'cause he wouldn't have been able to just SWIM there), then there's a genuinely possibility said parent(s) could've ended up getting caught and turned into slaves. And boy would that give someone A Personal Fucking Grudge Against The Government

But also, due to the in-universe discrimination against merfolk, if Crocodile was part-merman it could mean he could've been harassed for it since a young age, or worse yet, could've become a target for slavers if anybody found out. And somehow, having to hide that part about his heritage would work really well into his trust issues

Not to mention, after escaping Impel Down, Croc and Jinbei have this brief convo (that turns racist) where Croc expresses his surprise over Jinbei being able to summon fish, having thought only merfolk could do that. Of course, Croc being a seasoned pirate and all you could totally expect him to like know about mermaid legends etc, but him having no knowledge about Fishmen is a bit odd. Especially because we know he's been to the New World, so you'd think he must've gone to Fishman Island at least once before? Although, his former Shichibukai Rights probably would've allowed him to cross over the Red Line through Marijois instead of having to pass through Fishman Island, but regardless, it's odd, is it not? But if Crocodile did have merfolk parents whom he got separated from at a young age?? Maybe he learned a thing or two about that side of his family, but never enough?? And then having to hide that side of his heritage could've left him just estranged????

Also IDK if it's worth anything but in the cover stories, we were introduced to our first mermaid Camie at the tail end of Alabasta, while the Miss Goldenweek coverstory ran during Water 7 where we meet Kokoro and Chimney. IDK it's a funny coincidence

Kuja Appreciation Post!

I’ve loved the Final Fantasy series for most of my life. I got into them at a pretty young age - I remember being 13 years old and eagerly waiting for Final Fantasy IX to come out - and honestly this narcissistic pretty boy right here taught me a lot about myself and my own struggles, and still to this day remains one of my favorite characters of all time. Take a peek behind the curtain with me if you don’t mind FF9 spoilers and a really personal childhood story haha.

Kuja is a character that immediately stands out from a crowd. He has such a dramatic, theatrical way of carrying himself, he speaks very poetically, he steals the show and chews the scenery every time he shows up on-screen, he has an array of slammin’ theme music, he has a very distinct appearance - feathers in his hair, an exposed midriff, a thong....

As the game goes on, it becomes clear that Kuja was created as a pawn, a puppet, which very much parallels his own mass-produced Black Mages. Although Kuja is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy IX, Garland - Kuja’s creator - is very much the mastermind of the game, the man with the grandiose plan that was ultimately behind pretty much all of Final Fantasy IX’s events. Kuja was inciting war between all the nations of one planet to further Garland’s plot to revive another planet, all the while scheming to overthrow Garland and use his worst fears against him.

Although Kuja acts prideful and in control, he actually suffers from a deep-seated inferiority complex. He was created as one of many identical Genomes, a mere pawn to be used by Garland, and ultimately rejected his purpose. His rebellion against Garland - how he dresses, how he carries himself, how he speaks, everything I mentioned I liked about his character - was a desperate need to express his individuality and reject the purpose that was given to him.

When the game came out, I was a gay 13-year-old boy in a fairly homophobic community. I was bullied and ridiculed by my peers for being feminine, made to feel like I had to suppress who and what I was by parents who casually made homophobic remarks and threatened to disown me if I ever came out as gay, constantly uncomfortable in my own skin, constantly monitoring how much of myself I was safely able to express at any given moment... My fear of being gay caused me to pretty much suppress my entire personality. It felt wrong to express myself - any part of myself - because such a big part of me was “wrong”, so everything else about me must be wrong too. I became angry, bitter, depressed as all hell, but I felt too alone and too deserving of that loneliness to ever reach out for help.

...So, yes, I was naturally very drawn to an incredibly androgynous and theatrical male hyper-expressing his individuality as a form of rebellion against the purpose others forced upon him.

Although Kuja’s actual sexuality is never really overtly expressed, Kuja is the character that ultimately taught little teenage me that it was okay to be gay, that it was fine - and even something to be celebrated! - to stand out and be unique from everyone else around you, that I needed to embrace every facet of who I was and love myself for it. Now, I am also a pretty theatrical and extravagant person - whether that’s Kuja’s influence on my life talking, or my own personality shining through after the years of suppression and self-loathing, is probably up for debate.

It was a long, emotional, twisted road to self-love and self-expression for me, and I had a loooooong way to go after Final Fantasy IX entered my life... but Kuja really was where that all started for me. It is ultimately up to ourselves to give our lives meaning, to decide who we are and love that person, to create an environment and mindset where we can feel comfortable in our own skin. That’s not something that anybody else can give you.

But it can be amazing where inspiration to do those things can come from.

First thing’s first! It’s important to note that my OC’s are practically always evolving in terms of character like Mabelle has wound up with quite a few more S/O’s as now her partners consist of Shanks, Benn, Hongo, Lucky Roux, Limejuice, Gab, Yassop, and Banchina

Now that that’s out of the way, let’s truly get into it now!

So when it comes to the Long Ear Tribe, I can imagine that they have incredibly good hearing as a result of their ears as they are able to read minds with them but imagine if your hearing was always that good? Everything would be hurting your ears

But you can’t exactly turn off your ears or mute your hearing temporarily as much as I would personally like the ability to do so sometimes so the Long Ear Tribe has figured out a way to make things easier on themselves that isn’t being extremely quiet or making themselves deaf

The simple answer is well… Ear blockage like things to cover your ears so they won’t get hurt by every little sound, things like earplugs or sound blocking headphones or in Mabelle’s case a porcelain shell

Mabelle herself used the porcelain to shield her ears and it worked but now that her S/O’s have broken it off as part of the deal, she’s started wearing earplugs and it works perfectly well if they were made by the Long Ear Tribe as no one makes earplugs quite like they do

Because of their hearing, it’s nearly impossible to sneak up on a member of the Long Ear Tribe like you can do it but good luck and it’s also pretty hard for them to not know that you’re coming like Mabelle was able to hear an enemy ship approaching about twenty minutes before it even got into sight

You probably also wonder how Mabelle ever gets any sleep on the Red Force especially with some loud pirates and two loud children running around and that’s because she’s gotten used to it like she had a lot of trouble at first but now she sleeps so deep that she doesn’t even notice when Luffy and Uta sneak in to eat the porcelain off her body as they think it tastes nice (Mabelle makes her own porcelain with Non-Toxic ingredients so it isn’t dangerous, it’s basically like white chocolate almost)

The home island where the Long Ear Tribe originates from is also pretty quiet on account of a lot of people having very good hearing like visitors are encouraged to keep their voices down and as a result, if you’re someone that enjoys lots of quiet then it’s a perfect place to live or vacation at

Despite the calmness of it though, most people still do carry earplugs on them though as you never know when someone noisy will dock at shore

If you’d like to see more of Mabelle’s interactions with the Red Haired Pirates then I can assist with that and tell you a few things right here and now if you so please!

Mabelle interacting with the Red Haired Pirates can be a bit awkward at first due to her tendency of not joining conversations unless directly spoken to or pulled into it by someone but that doesn’t mean that she won’t directly interact with them

She is a bit of a medic but at the same time, Hongo is the ships doctor so she’s mostly a seamstress who fixes clothing and more than once has she gotten pretty irked by seeing messed up clothes

Like there was this one time on the boat that the crew had just gotten out of a fairly tough battle, clothes were dirty and had quite a few damaged parts to them

Mabelle had been below deck protecting the kids from danger and when she heard the sounds of celebration from the deck, she went up and immediately saw the state that everyone’s clothing was in so she went back downstairs and grabbed some quick replacements for them to wear

When she came back up, no one even knew what hit them as one second they were wearing their clothes and the next they were wearing what were basically just red gowns as Mabelle took off downstairs to get to work

Luckily she was finished by the end of the day and all the clothes were perfect but anyone coming across the red haired pirates would have thought that they were some kind of cult based on the outfits that they had been given to wear until Mabelle was done

Mabelle also really enjoys having people who appreciate the clothing that she makes for them as on her island, not many people were big fans of the things that she made and even if they were Mabelle’s appearance was enough to scare people off as people would be fine until she spoke and her mouth wouldn’t move

Plus making mostly costumes didn’t really help as a lot of people who would buy the things that she made would usually return them after whatever event the costume was needed for has passed, it really was a wonder that she had stayed in business in all honesty

So the Red Haired Pirates although they don’t wear a lot of the nice clothes and costumes that Mabelle makes as they prefer to only wear them for events that could call for them without potentially putting Mabelle in danger like “Oh those look great! Who made them?” “Our seamstress made them for us” “A seamstress, hm? Might need someone just like that…”, they will wear the more casual things that she makes though

This makes her incredibly happy and she’s even found a way to help a lot of them relax as you know those ASMR videos of people taking your measurements? If someone on the boat is very stressed then she brings them to her room and makes it quiet, she speaks in whispers and takes measurements of whatever she can think of as gently as she possibly can

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and it all depends on the person like it works for Benn, Hongo, Shanks, and Lucky Roux but it doesn’t have much effect on Bonk Punch or Yassop like it’s relaxing for them but not so relaxing that it makes stress melt away or in Shanks and Lucky Roux’s case completely fall asleep

Yeah, it is pretty cute that Mabelle also does act like a mother figure to Uta and Luffy like it wasn’t that way at first but in a Yandere scenario where Shanks kidnapped Mabelle then her first interaction with the two of them was literally them calling her Mama

The two of them are very protective of Mabelle but she’s usually the one that winds up protecting them a lot of the time which she doesn’t mind as long as they’re safe, the only things that she minds from them is when they make a mess of her work area or sneak in to eat her porcelain as previously mentioned which causes her to have to spend quite a bit of time putting porcelain back in all the places where Benn and Shanks haven’t pulled it off from

Despite that though, she loves both of them dearly as if they were her own children and has made sure that they know that they’re both beautiful no matter what happens and she’ll always love them dearly

One of her gifts to Luffy actually has been letting him look around her fabrics and play with them so she could guess which one that he liked the best then she made a hammock for him out of it while one of her gifts to Uta was Uta drawing up a picture of herself singing in an outrageous looking outfit on stage then Mabelle made said outfit for her as a surprise

Uta and Luffy aren’t the only kids that Mabelle acts like a mother to though as there is another one that you all probably know and his name is Usopp as in a Yandere AU then there was no way that Yassop didn’t take Banchina with them like he likely kidnapped her from Syrup Village

Usopp likes playing with Luffy and Uta a lot of the time but he isn’t the biggest fan of Mabelle as he’s scared of her because he thinks that she’s a haunted statue like his first interaction went like this…

Usopp was wandering around the halls of the Red Force pretending to be a pirate and defeating imaginary enemies only to come across Mabelle who was standing still, he pretended that she was a giant who would fight to protect his family and he proceeded to fake fight Mabelle who held still once he was done he stood proudly with his chest stuck out and proclaimed his victory only for Mabelle to chuckle

You could practically hear the record scratch from Usopp as he paused and went white, he immediately ran away yelling out for his Mom and Dad because there was a ghost but luckily they did convince him that Mabelle wasn’t a ghost and she made it up to Usopp with a very well made pirate costume as an apology

He does consider Mabelle to be like a Mom as he listens to her just as well as he listens to Banchina, he’s still a little scared of her though as he has a tendency to hide behind Luffy occasionally when he sees her

So when it comes to your question about Yandere Luffy joining the crew from a young age, I heavily doubt that if Luffy was a Yandere that Shanks isn’t a Yandere so as a result everyone on the Red Force would wind up being some form of a Yandere as well

They probably kidnapped Luffy from the island now that I think about it as they give me serious vibes of being Platonic Yandere’s but I’m getting off track

Mabelle’s reaction to Luffy being a Yandere would depend personally as if she had only recently been kidnapped by Shanks and them then she would be horrified and try to do her absolute best to talk him out of being a Yandere however that’s useless

But if she had been around for long enough to develop Stockholm syndrome then she would be happy that Luffy is just like his many Papa’s aboard the Red Force and that he’ll make a Darling oh so very happy someday

As for how she would react to Luffy’s Darling, that would require the Red Haired Pirates meeting up with the Straw Hats long enough for Mabelle to meet Luffy’s Darling

If Mabelle wasn’t completely under the delusion that being a Yandere is a good thing then she would attempt to help then Darling like she would do her best to try and set her free but it’s not like it would work, Yandere pirates are everywhere and it’s not like Mabelle can just sneak Luffy’s Darling out without getting caught

Luffy hasn’t seen his mother figure in ages so even if Mabelle tries to sneak the Darling out underneath her dress then Luffy is going to quickly get in her way and take up all of her time talking to her which would eventually result in someone noticing what she’s doing and ratting her out so the Darling has been recaptured

As for if Mabelle was completely under the delusion that being a Yandere is a good thing then she wouldn’t attempt to help the Darling at all and well I guess she would help her but just not in the way that the Darling wants

Mabelle will talk all about how she was scared at first too but then it turned out that Shanks and his crew simply wanted what was best for her and to love her as if she were their wife, it wasn’t so bad and she started to love them back as they made her feel so beautiful even without her porcelain and made her feel like she was worth something

Plus so much could have gone wrong if she didn’t meet them and she’s sure that it’s the same thing for Luffy’s Darling, they’ll eventually see just how much Luffy cares about them and loves them and when that days comes they’ll realize just how amazing this life of theirs is

Just how much worse it could be without him as just like you said, they could have gotten picked up by some kind of creepy pirate sailing the seas who would have treated them like trash underneath their feet but instead they have Luffy who is so very loving and kind

Also would Uta still be around like the events of canon changing to where Shanks and the crew never left her on Elegia after the Tot Musica incident? I think that could go either way but I personally want to think that it wouldn’t change

Shanks and them definitely would have been way more reluctant to leave Uta on Elegia like I’m not sure of the extent but imagine a lot more threats of violence to Gordon if he doesn’t take great care of her plus I can also see like them killing a few civilians who they deemed as bad people or threats to Uta then just being like “Oh oops! Tot Musica got ‘em! Oh no!”

Afterwards I feel like during Uta’s transponder snail shows from Elegia then at least a good few people from the Red Hair Pirates act as sort of moderators and what that entails is basically seeing if there are any people they don’t approve of watching their daughter perform then dealing with said people via banning them... from life

Personally I also think that the idea of Platonic Yandere Red Hair Pirates just showing up in Film Red would be incredibly chaotic but I love the idea of it in all honesty plus when they take Uta with them, Uta is definitely on lockdown for like half a year afterwards

“Shanks, I’ve fully recovered… I’m fine…” “Not good enough for me, go back to bed… You look tired…”

Eventually they’ll loosen up and Uta can actually do things again instead of sleeping and staying in bed and having all her needs taken care of by a ship of fathers

I’m getting off topic, aren’t I? Well no matter…

Much like most of my OC’s as well, Mabelle does have an aesthetic board that I’ve made for her so I’ll post it right

Also much like most of my characters, Mabelle does have a few bad endings that she can hit like one of her bad endings is that she has an argument with her S/O’s that gets so heated that things that shouldn’t have been said were said and Mabelle ran off

Both parties needed time to calm down so they let Mabelle go as they knew she would be fine and besides when they were ready to go, they would find her or she would find them so they could talk things out

That didn’t happen though as Mabelle didn’t come back to them that night so the next morning, they went looking for her only to find a horrific sight as Mabelle had completely relapsed into covering herself with porcelain but went into an absolute frenzy

It was on her hair, covering her clothes, it was everywhere but most importantly it was covering every area that she could have breathed out of leading to her suffocating inside of her own porcelain shell

As for her other bad ending, it’s an ending where she never met Shanks and them so she would have stayed on that island eventually succumbing to the islands high beauty standards and dying

One Piece: Amazon Lily Arc

Kizaru tore through the pirate Captains and their cfews without abandon. SHe watched as the Supernovas did their best to fight the strange giant humans. Light flshed so brightly she had to cover her eyes. A loose growl in her throat as she used her zoan form to leap from her hiding place atop the giant mangrove. Landing on her feet she dodge an oncoming blast of fire as a Marine company sent a volley of bullets her way. Each movement she did required all of her enhanced reflexes, Only when she went sailing over the edge, though, did she truly know fear. --- The Amazon Lily Arc, whoa! WE got this far! Luffy is sent flying after a moment of pure gut- wrenching despair. His body is struck by the power of Kuma's Nikyu Nikyu no Mi and on his way at high speed through the air. After he strikes the ground we find him in the one place perhaps he shouldn't be. Amazon Lily, home to the all-cisfemale (YES I AM INCLUDING OKAMA and NEWKAMA IN THIS ASSESSMENT!) Kuja Tribe. We get to meet Marguerite and her friends as they discover poor Luffy after he stupidly consumes a parasitic mushroom. Bouncing forward and skipping over the anime dick jokes with the Kuja, what is most important here is how Luffy reacts. He wakes up, freaks out and yet as he gets chased he doesn't intentionally try to ruin a bunch of stuff. Instead, he nearly dies and get's saved by Marguerite while her friends, Sweet Pea, and Aphelandra do their best to support her. A few things about the Kuja I like. One yes, some have the pretty curvy designs of the typical One Piece women, but many also have pretty different body types. WE see broad-chested women, short, plump and more. Plus, yes, they all wear bikini's in a pretty blunt manner which is all the better when Luffy ignores everything. I love how Luffy is easily this lovable Ace motherfucker who just wants to make people happy. Now skipping through all the shenanigans Boa Hancock comes in after turning entire Marine Crew to Stone. After Luffy pops into her bath and sees her back she flips out (with good reason). The Snake Princess is shown in parts of this arc as cold and distant. Her looks and her fruit make people love her without any really deeper feeling. They see her as an object, and this makes her painful backstory all the worse. Plus I wanna say that I love her sisters, Sonia is just a fucking darling. And, Marigold is just this awesome fat goddess who can kick serious ass. The scene after they take over Luffy's execution after he defeats their giant panther is, funny and interesting. It sets up the Boa sisters as cold, and brutal. They use their Haki to easily defeat and toy with Luffy. When they move to smash the stone forms of Marguerite, Sweetpea and Aphelandra I was calling for Luffy to destroy them. There is a point to this brutality though, the sisters have been shaped by their society which forbids men, and they were tortured. So just as Luffy first unleashes a mega Conqueror's Haki burst and soundly starts kicking their asses I cheered loudly for him. One Piece is a show I can just watch for Hours and just feel good about. With gusto! I was lost in writing when I saw Sonia knocked toward the sharpened spikes and heard how her mark would be exposed. Seeing Luffy just leap onto Sonia's back even after she eagerly threatened to smash one of her own people was a clincher for why I love him. Wait no, it was him say, yup fuck my freedom, save your people please! Yeah, Luffy has a level of goodness that just makes me feel better. Boa Hancock's Backstory So, I didn't go much into my feelings on the Celestial Dragons, but lets ignore the fact that they are literal caricatures of what rick people really do! SO. All three young girl were captured as cabin girls on their own ship and then branded with the "Dragon's Claw". Let that sink in, these were young teens sold into slavery for some monsters. I swear if these fuckers were wearing crosses and were part of a mega-church or even a republican meeting! Yup, the girls got away after they were experimented on and wow. The amount of trauma they all went through and the fact they can still lead a country is pretty impressive. All of the stories and the coldness they show to their people is kind of explained in their trauma. Honestly, I am so glad they ran with how blunt the story was. Because any other idiot would have turned this into a tragic villain scene. Instead, we got a scene that shows us how a ruler can easily become distant from her own people. If they show weakness they think the people will turn on them. Damn, you think that the kids making a homemade statute would prove the opposite. I think the dissonance I felt as I watch them threaten to smash Marguerite versus revealing their trauma was surreal. It really shows how much emotional distant and masking the three do. All to maintain the false story of the Gorgon Sisters. Preparing For Impel Down After Hancock acquiesce to Luffy's request to save (and yes I realize I'm skipping a plot beat or two) she gets a pretty thorough verbal comment from Granny Nyon. As Luffy prepares to leave Hancock becomes suddenly sick. WE learn that all of Luffy's compassion has given her reason to fall head over heels in love with him. This was a bit of a weird scene, that her cold heart would come to fixate so much she could die outside his presence. The scenes where we see Luffy and her traveling aboard the ship alone was strange. Hancock's lovesickness seems a bit out of left field for me, I would have preferred if it was a little less sudden. Now,  know beforehand she had a thing for Luffy. Hell, I even tried to find a few fanfics that played around the relationship. The problem is I couldn't find any really shorter than 50k words that kept my interest. Please don't blame me that I prefer Nami and Luffy. Please note, I headcanon Luffy as a nonbinary ace hero. Overall This setting does a good job of showing more abilities derived from Haki. The idea that up until now we've barely seen it becomes more realistic as it seems it's not a widely practice gift outside of the New World. Sentamarou was a master of Armament Haki and it appears the Kuja use it as well to empower their attacks. This was a decent continual show of what Haki can achieve and it was a nice way to show how Devil Fruits can be defeated by Haki users. If Luffy didn't have his experience in battle he wouldn't have dodged all those Kuja arrows. If he didn't have Second Gear, he wouldn't have defeated Sonia or Marigold without it really. The increased speed was the only way he really got around Sonia's observation Haki and the increased velocity for his strikes assisted him against Marigold. This is a big change from when we first saw a certain annoying Skypeian using "Mantra" (Satori) against Sanji. Or hell, Shank's in episode one from the get-go. Conclusion This Arc focused on Luffy regaining a sense of hope. Watching him break down in Saobody when everyone disappeared was nerve-wracking. As someone who has felt a sense of despair, I will never reach Luffy's level. The poor kid loses his entire found family and finds out his brother is to die not long after. The actual way they emphasized each disappearance by Kuma by a bubble popping was tightened the anxiety I felt as I watched. Switching suddenly to something a bit more filled with hope was a nice change of pace. I say hope because both Hancock and Luffy brought it to each other. Luffy brought about the physical beating of two Celestial Dragons. Plus saving a friend of his from slavery ups the reality of how much Hancock can show some trust. Hancock, on the other hand, and as she treats her people better gives Luffy stability. It also seemed to give him time to remember his crew wasn't dead. They were all just sent flying everywhere. A pause to recover from watching everyone almost die. Hottakes:

That poor giant boar at the beginning, he deserved better.

The entire scene with Luffy being considered a girl was, so weird for me.

Like I was happy that the girls were like "ah yes another woman", but then the mushroom jokes and body washing. eeeww.

Mageurite deserves a bigger part in a side story, watching her help Luffy was interesting.

Sweatpea was a fucking amazing bean.

Aphelandra really shows how people in One Piece can be super tiny or fucking giants, and NOT BE ACTUAL GIANTS.

Momonga, wtf is up with the naming of this world.

The Mero-Mero no Mi is such a weird fruit, it's a fruit that creates a great sense of attraction and can turn people to stone if they have lewd thoughts.

THE FUCK ODA?!

The snake forms on Sonia and Margold into big titty nagas, shows that furries are well loved in ONe Piece.

I like how they are emphasizing this weird sort of fated pairing of Luffy almost in a folkloric way. He and her have Conqueror's Haki which is pretty damn rare.

Hancock needs a good Polyam ship with Vivi and Nami.

Robin would adore Amazon Lily since it appears to have constant sense of archaeological history.

It's an urban fantasy thriller about faith, trauma, familial love, and working through your mental illness to become a better person. The protagonist is the holder of the Artemis Covenant, Riley, and there are other "god" characters such as Hades, Persephone, Apollo, Hermes and Demeter, as well as other supernatural creatures like werewolves.

Kylo is trying to survive Poe while being plagued with curiosity; who is the woman he keeps hearing at the edges of his mind? And new powers are awakening in Rey, powers that seem to be the source of the visions of a strange man in black, exploring the same wreckage, just out of her reach.

Choices will be made, loyalties tested, and bonds forged. Where will they go when they emerge from the wreckage?

Featherflower (Dracule Mihawk X OC) Completed

A Kuja named Teria is forced to leave Amazon Lily, and finds herself a home aboard the Red Force, working under the Red Haired Shanks. This puts her face to face with a mysterious swordsman several times. The two form a connection, and eventually, love blooms.

This one is done, but I still write mini fics for them as the inspo strikes.

The Punk and the Surgeon: Lawka (Trafalgar D. Water Law x OC) Ongoing

Law's ship needs repairs, and the only place to do so is said to be haunted. Instead of a ghost or spirit, he meets Aika; a stubborn, kind young woman who's doing her best to keep her family safe. Through a series of tragic circumstances, she finds her way onto his crew, and into his heart.

Cards and Pieces: Freyce (Portgas D. Ace x OC) Ongoing

In his time as captain of the Spade Pirates, Ace drunkenly stumbles across a young woman with a strong spirit, a need for connection, and a loyalty that burns brighter than the sun. She becomes his first mate, and stands by his side through everything.

Jujitsu Kaisen

Candy and Catastrophes (Bluebird) (Satoru Gojo x OC) Ongoing

Natori is wildly thrown into the world of jujitsu sorcery when her cursed technique manifests, leaving her confused and scared. Satoru Gojo steps in, promising to hide her identity from her clan and to give her a job at Jujitsu High, masquerading as a window. He gets more than he bargained for when attraction begins to stir between the two.

(This fic is focused on character development, fluff, and hurt/comfort. It will go off the course of canon for these reasons)
