For @waywardsunlight's AU where Eda and Luz swap places.

Raine is wearing Amity's alternative green tuxedo grom design and Eda a mix of what she and Luz wore to Luz's grom (brown jacket over red shirt / cropped jacket over poofy skirt - I just turned the shirt into a shirtdress and gave her a cravat. Also gave Raine a cape because they deserve it.)

Eda's outfit is inspired by my fav classic lolita brand Excentrique 💖

While going to screencaps I realized… Out of three ships, only Raeda had a first good introduction to each other...

Amity was going berserk the first time she “met” Luz at Hexside.

While Willow as overly excited, Hunter was complete baffled and uninterested during their first meeting.

Eda and Raine however had a natural, fun conversation and with a mutual interest.

At the Owl House Q&A at Requiem Coffee earlier this month, Avi Roque said Eda and Raine asked each other to Grom 😍. They also said Raine likes to do collage in their free time!!! So, naturally, here are Eda and Raine asking each other to Grom with their preferred art forms (Raine applying their budding collage passion 😂). (I am not sleeping on the comment that Raine hosts collage nights— I am in love with this and am coming back to it, but my plan is ambitious… we’ll see how that goes!)

On the bonus: The idea of putting Raine in a cape for Grom is from @thinking-with-quadrants; I could not resist borrowing it because it is too cute! They have delicate sleeves because Raine should get to wear something pretty now and then. If Eda’s jacket looks familiar… hear me out: what if Luz’s Grom jacket was borrowed from Eda??

I really like how Raeda is kinda the inverse/subversion of “nerd falls in love with rebel and thinks rebel is cooler”.

Raine is the nerd that approached Eda, a rebel (and a jock pretty much), and Eda immediately viewed them as the cool kid.
