“Y/N, you ready?” Rachel, your maid of honor asked as you looked at yourself in the mirror.

“I’m terrified.” You let out. “I mean, I love Tom, and I can’t wait to be married to him, but I’m absolutely terrified.”

“I know, hun.” Rachel let out, grabbing your hand. “But this is going to be amazing. You look absolutely stunning, and Tom loves you so very much.”

“I know. And I love him too so very much.”

You were waiting in line to walk in arm wrapped around P/O/C’s arm when you hear the instrumental version of Invisible String starting to play.

Everyone watched in awe as Lady came walking in, a flower color around her neck.

Tom watched as his sister, Anya, walked behind her. Anya went over to the brides side as Lady naturally walked over to Tom.

“Hello, darling,” Tom smiled, picking her up. “You ready to watch Mummy walk in?” Lady liked Tom’s cheek as the music changed to Enchanted (Taylor’s Version) instrumental. And the brides maids walked in, Rachel being the last one.

Love Story (Taylor’s Version) instrumental started playing, and everyone stood up to watch as you walked in.

As you made your way in people started to tear up as they watched you. Taylor held Travis’s hand as they both teared up, Rachel teared up as she held onto the bouquet of flowers in her hand.

But most importantly Tom started to tear up as he watched you walk in. He looked at you with all the love in the world and more in his eyes.

When you got there you let go of P/O/C and stood across from Tom. “Hi,” you smiled.”

“Hi, love.” He smiled back, then looked at Lady. “Go stand by Mummy okay?” He asked, setting her down.

Lady walked over and sat right next to you as you grabbed Tom’s hands in yours.

“You look absolutely gorgeous, my love. Words can’t even get close to describing it.”

“Thank you. So do you.”

“Please be seated.” The officiant said. “Welcome, family, friends, and loved ones. We are gathered here today to celebrate the wedding of Y/N and Tom. You have come here to share in this formal commitment they make to one another, to offer your love and support to this union, and to allow Y/N and Tom to start their married life together by the people dearest and most important to them.

So welcome to one and all, who have travelled far to be here. Y/N and Tom thank you for your presence here today, and now ask for your blessing, encouragement, and lifelong support, for their decision to be married. We also pause for a moment to feel love coming to us from around the globe from friends and family who could not travel here on this day. And to the loved ones who have passed.”

“He’d be so proud of you,” You whispered to Tom.

“He would have loved to meet you,” he smiled, letting a tear fall to his cheek.

“I would have loved to meet him. He helped create such an amazing man.” You replied, whipping a tear off of Tom’s cheek with your thumb.

“To the parents,” the officiant continued. “Who Y/N and Tom have become as persons is determined by many factors, but none more significant than their relationship with those who loved them into life, nurtured them, and taught them by their words and example. Although we outgrow the homes of our childhood, we never outgrow the love and support of our parents and families. In many ways you have taught them how to love. For this, they are forever grateful.

Parents, will you please stand?” Tom’s mom, Charlotte, and your parents/parent figures stood up. (And Taylor and Trav if you want lol)

“Will you, Charlotte, y/p/n/ p/f/n, encourage Y/N and Tom in their marriage?”

“We will.”

“Do you celebrate with them the decision they have made to choose each other, and will you continue to stand beside them with each passing year?”

“We will.”

“Thank you. You can please be seated.

Marriage is perhaps the greatest and most challenging adventure of human relationships. No ceremony can create your marriage; only you can do that — through love and patience; through dedication and perseverance; through talking and listening, helping and supporting and believing in each other, through tenderness and laughter, through learning to forgive, learning to appreciate your differences, and by learning to make the important things matter, and to let go of the rest. What this ceremony can do is to witness and affirm the choice you make to stand together as life mates and partners.

Will you, Tom, take this woman to be your wedded wife?”

“Will you, Y/N, take this man to be your wedded husband?”

“Two people in love do not live in isolation. Their love is a source of strength with which they may nourish not only each other, but also the world around them. And in turn, we, their community of friends and family, have a responsibility to this couple. By our steadfast care, respect, and love, we can support their marriage and the new family they are creating today. Will everyone please rise.”

Everyone stood up, even Lady, making everyone smile at her.

“Will you, who are present here today, surround Y/N and Tom in love, offering them the joys of your friendship, and supporting them in their marriage? If so, answer We Will.”

“You may be seated.

Parents, as we near the end of the ceremony, I ask you now to please pass the rings to one another, hold them for a moment, warm them with your love, and make a silent wish for this couple, and their future together.

I’ve hear that wedding ceremonies can be a bit of a blur for the bride and groom. I’d like to ask you, Y/N and Tom, to please take a moment to look at your friends and family who are with you today. With the months of preparation that went into planning this beautiful day, please take some time to pause, take a deep breath, and make a memory that is not created from a photograph you see later.

“We’ve come to the point of your ceremony where you’re going to say your vows to one another. But before you do that, I ask you to remember that love — which is rooted in faith, trust, and acceptance — will be the foundation of an abiding and deepening relationship. No other ties are more tender, no other vows more sacred than those of you now assume. If you are able to keep the bows you take her today, not because of any religious or civic law, but out of a desire to love and be loved by another person fully, without limitation, then your life will have joy and the home you establish will be a place in which you both will find the direction of your growth, your freedom, and your responsibility. “Y/N, when I first read your books and listened to your music, I was amazed by how talented you are. And that first day Rachel brought you to set if felt like love at first sight. And I’m guessing you felt that way too because before we knew it we were dating. I love all the times we have to gather, the good and the bad. I love our little darling Lady, but most of all I love you. I promise to always love you and be good to you for the rest of our lives. And not only you but our darling, Lady and any other children we have one day weather they’re more pets or our real children. I promise to love and care for them and you forever.”

“Y/N, your vows.”

“Tom, when I first saw you I was in awe, and when you first came up to me and started talking to me, I thought I was going to faint. And when your baby blue eyes shone, and your loving smile sparkled when you first took my hand and kissed it, I thought I was going to sink and drown and die. And when you said you wanted to start dating I was over the moon. I too love all the time we have together, good and bad, and love every moment with you. I promise to be a good and loving wife to you for the rest of our lives. And a good and loving mom to not only Lady, but all of our future kids. And I promise to live and care for them and your our whole lives.”

“Tom, do you take Y/N to be your lawfully wedded wife? Will you honor and cherish her; love, trust, and commit to her, through joy and pain, sickness and in health, and whatever life may throw at you both, until death do you part?”

“I do.” Tom smiled, as Y/N put his ring on his finger.

“Y/N, do you, take Tom to be your lawfully wedded husband? Will you honor and cherish him; love, trust, and commit to him, through joy and pain, sickness and in health, and whatever life may throw at you both, until death do you part?”

“I do.” Y/N smiled as Tom put her ring on her finger.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride.”

Tom lifted up the veil and he brought you in closer to him, pressing his lips against yours. Everyone started clapping and Lady started barking. You both laughed and pulled away to look at her.

“You want up here darling?” Tom asked, looking at her, making her wag her tail.

“Come here,” You smiled, picking her up. Both you and Tom kissed her head and then kissed again with her in your arms

summary: After much convincing, Chandler finally agrees to go on a blind date set up by Phoebe. TW: none note: I just felt like writing an imagine for Chandler because I love his character.

"No."

"Oh come on, it'll be fun!"

"What's going on?" Rachel asked, sitting down on the leather sofa. "Phoebe wants to set me up with one of her friends," Chandler replied, "And I'm saying no." Joey, who'd been sitting there listening to their argument shrugged, "Why not?" He asked, "I mean it can't get much worse than Janice."

Chandler rolled his eyes, "No offense Pheebs, but most of your friends are weird." "This one's not, I promise you're gonna love her!" Phoebe protested.

"I mean you could just go on a date and see how it goes," Rachel suggested. Chandler sighed, "Fine, just one date!" Phoebe squealed happily, "Oh, this is going to be so nice, I'm going to call her!" 

"Phoebe at least tell me her name before you–" Chandler sighed as his friend walked out, "go..."

Chandler looked at the clock for the 50th time that day. He wasn't the biggest fan of the idea of a blind date, but he couldn't help himself. " Y'know for someone who doesn't want to go on this date, you seem pretty impatient," Monica said from the kitchen. "I just want to get this over with," He protested.

Before Monica could reply, the doorbell rang. "That must be her," Phoebe exclaimed, just a little too excited. Chandler made his way out of the chair towards the door.

Well, here goes nothing...

He opened the door, expecting the worst. Instead  he found you standing on the other side. You looked amazing, the date wasn't exactly supposed to be something fancy, so you were wearing a cropped [Y/F/C] sweater and some black jeans. But Chandler still felt like he was looking at an angel.

"Hi, I'm [Y/N]," You introduced yourself, extending your hand towards him. Seeing as he was still stunned, you retracted you hand awkwardly. Trying to escape the awkward silence, you looked around for a conversation topic, then your eyes landed on Phoebe.

"Phoebe!" You exclaimed, the blonde ran towards you pulling you into a bear hug."Long time no see, how are you?" She smiled excitedly and introduced you to her friends. You happily shook their hands making a full circle, you were facing Chandler once again. "I- uuhm, Chandler, but I guess Phoebe already told you that." You smiled at him, hoping to reassure him since he seemed so nervous.

"Well you two better get going!" Phoebe said, a little too loudly, as she shoved you two out of the door.

As the two of you walked towards the cafe you tried to ease the tension. C'mon [Y/N], this is what you do for a living! 

" So, how do you know Phoebe?" You asked, it was a pretty basic question since she was the one thing you two had in common. "Oh, she used to live with Monica, and I live across the hall so..." Chandler trailed off again, "What about you?" You smiled to yourself, "I've known Phoebe since we were kids," You replied, "We were neighbors before the whole, y'know... suicide thing happened." Chandler's mouth formed an O. "Has she always been like that?" He asked, seemingly out of nowhere. You frowned in confusion; "Like what?" He shrugged, "Well... how do I say this–" "eccentric?" You added. He nodded, "Yeah, she never really cared about what people thought of her, it's what I like about her the most."

"But enough about Phoebe," You said, opening the door to the cafe, "Tell me about you." Chandler grinned taking a seat at a table near the window, "Well, what do you wanna know? " He asked, "My favorite color or my childhood trauma, you have to be a bit more specific." 

You giggled and rolled your eyes, "How about we start with favorite color?" "Aw shucks, I wanted to talk about my trauma so badly," he replied sarcastically. You shook your head, a smile forming on your lips.

Well Phoebe was right about one thing, he knew how to make you laugh.

Chandler closed the door to Monica's apartment behind him. The date had gone surprisingly well for his feeling. 

"Aw, look at that, Chandler is in love~" Ross teased in a sing-song voice. Chandler rolled his eyes, "Shut up." Ross had that shit-eating grin on his face that Chandler wanted to punch. But well... he was too happy to do it.

"So, the date went well?" Monica asked him, putting down a plate of leftover cookies. He gladly took one and nodded excitedly. "Mhm, we had a great time, we had some coffee and went for a walk in central park."

Phoebe, who sitting on the sofa channel-surfing, grinned, "So who was right and who was wrong?" she asked turning towards Chandler. He sighed defeatedly; "Okay fine, you were right I was wrong, and I had fun." With a satisfied smile on her face Phoebe turned back to the TV. And for a second everything seemed perfect. And then Joey decided to speak up.

"But how do you know she had fun too?" He asked. 

"I- I hadn't really thought about that..." Chandler said running a hand through his hair. "Well, I could call her," Phoebe suggested. And just like that everyone was sitting around the phone, whilst Phoebe dialed your number.

"Hey, Pheebs"

"Hey, [Y/N] I just called to ask how the date went?" 

"Oh Yeah, the date went well, I had fun!"

"So, you're up for a date, say–" Phoebe stopped looking over at Chandler, "Friday," he mouthed and Phoebe repeated him.

"Well, I'm working on Friday but we could go for dinner on Sunday, Chandler."

"Wha–, How did you–"

"Goodbye, everyone!"

The group looked at the phone a little dumbstruck. "Well, looks like you have a date on Sunday, Chan," Joey said proudly, turning to his best friend. Chandler smiled to himself.

‘Oh come on dude! You’ve been single for like forever, bet down there is like a dessert’ y/bf/n says while she plops herself onto your bed in your apartment. You were having this conversation for over an hour now and she didn’t stop. ‘Look, i think it’s okay to be lonely with 6 cats…i’ll just…be that weird cat lady..’ i said shrugging my shoulders and i turned back to my closet where i was looking for my outfit of the day. Y/bf/n groaned in frustration and got comfy on my bed. ‘ and besides, i can’t date cause my work is making me too busy!’ I said still looking for the perfect outfit, ‘bullshit! Oh come onnnnn just one date! Pleaaaaassseeee!!!’ She begged and Y/n rolled her eyes but a smal smile formed itself onto her face. ‘Fiiiine just one okay but how do i find a date?’ I asked looking at my best friend. ‘Don’t worry i know a guy who has a friend and she is also single, maybe i can set you up?’ She looked at me and i nodded. ‘Sure but please will you help me now with my outfit!?’ I said.

*Week time skip*

‘Hold on girl! You didn’t show me a picture or anything, how am i supposed to know wich girl my date is?’ I asked in a slightly panicking voice while y/bf/n and i took place in this fancy restaurant she reserved for the date. ‘Y/n chill, you have 10 minutes till she arrives okay, i am just allowed to say some info but not everything and she will know. Look i’ll be out in 5 but she has dark brown hair, short but just like over her shoulders, she has a slim figure aaaand she is 22 years old….her name is Rachel and that is it….besides don’t stress, you look fire in that black cocktail dress.’ My friend said and i just blinked at her trying to proces this shit. ‘Imma go but good luck and text me okay!’ Y/bf/n gave you a quick goodbye kiss on your cheek and there you were…waiting for a girl you have no idea how she looked or how she was. Y/n ordered a wiskey while she waited and after 10 minutes a beautifull girl walked into the restaurant. She had a small and slim figure, she had to be around 5’7 high and she had this wavy short brown hair. When your eyes met you were blown away by the big brown color of her eyes and these plump red lips. The girl walked over to the table and with a shy and nervous voice she spoke, ‘ sorry to bother but ehm…are you y/n?’ The girl asked and you stood up to introduce yourself. ‘ hi yes, you must be rachel? It’s nice to meet you…you look stunning’ y/n put out her hand to shake and after the handshake you pulled the chair for Rachel so she could sit down. ‘ thank you, so…look i’ll be honest..i’m not so good at dates….’ Rachel started and you smiled, ‘neither am i but…ehm…i…let’s do ramdom questions? What pops in your head you can ask…good?’ I asked shyly and took the menu. ‘ good idea so what are you gonna order?’ She asked and i started to look at the card. There was a lot of options and i started to feel overwhelmed by it but i couldn’t show it to Rachel so i went for the thing i always eat, burgers and fries. The waiter came over to take our orders but ofcourse they hadn’t the burgers and fries anymore. I started to panic not knowing what to eat and suddenly i heard Rachel asking if it was posible for the fries and maybe have something close to burgers. The waiter nodded his head and walked away with a look on his face that was trying to figure out what to give me. I looked down in embarresment, ‘sorry about that…i just…’ i spoke but Rachel interrupted me. ‘It’s okay, there is a lot so i get it don’t worry’ she smiled and got up excusing her for going to the bathroom. Being autistic and having ADHD is pretty hard and i hate going to public places like this. Being already overstimulated by the stress earlier, the talking and the bright lights added to it so i started stimming. Playing with my rings and fidgetting my napking i saw Rachel come back. ‘So, wanna talk about the stimming?’ She suddenly asked and i looked at her with a suprised look on my face, ‘i have a nephew who has ADHD…i recognise the lip bitting, fidgetting and stimming so i…i thought’ Rachel said shyly and i looked down. ‘I have autisme and ADHD…i’m…the lights and stuff…just a bit…overstimulated but don’t worry….i…´ i started but i stopped talking soon after because i felt ashamed. Rachel looked at me with those brown eyes and just smiled, ‘here, put these in.’ She took some sort of earplugs out of her bag and gave them, ‘ i have them on me all the time for my nephew, they are noise canceling earplugs. The talking should be softer for you then.’ I took the plugs and looked at her, with a soft smile she looked at me and i hesitated to put them in, they looked so complex for my brain altho they where just plugs. ‘ want me to help put them in?’ Rachel asked and stood up to walk over to my side. She kneeled down in her red dress that was like a summer dress but fancy and took the plugs, i was so overstimulated by this point that i just looked at her. ‘Can i?’ She asked for consent to touch and put the plugs in my ear and i nodded, while she plugged the first earplug in i smiled and knew she was special.

do you like lis2? I've tried to play it so many times and I really love the concept, but no matter what I just can't seem to get into it. I love love love lis, and true colors is one of my favorite games of all time. I even got through all of before the storm!! but for some reason I can't connect to the second game so much and it frustrates me. I was wondering what your thoughts are on all of the games (which I know is a big ask, so you don't have to go too in depth if you don't want) and where you would place lis2 among all of them??

oooh i’ll take any opportunity to talk about lis, but before i say anything, it’s okay if lis2 just isn’t your thing! life is too short to force yourself to finish a game you’re not into :’) anyway here’s my order from favorite to least favorite:

1 - LIFE IS STRANGE

i don’t think any game in this franchise will be able to capture the lightning in a bottle that lis1 was. it came out at a time when there were few story-based games and even fewer games that weren’t targeted specifically to men. the episodic format meant that a large fandom could gather to discuss theories and we had plenty of time to make art, fics, cosplay, etc. which all served to increase hype for the next episode. and i’m not going to talk too much about the story or the characters here because i think we all know how much i love them fjksjds it’s just sooo good. i’ll replay it over and over til the end of time.

2 - LIFE IS STRANGE 2

the reason i love lis2 is because of the strong bond between sean and daniel. i’m a protective older sister and daniel reminds me sooo much of my little brother, so there were some moments that hit me so hard i had to take a breather before i could continue playing. the relationship between them felt SO accurate and real, and the way you can feel their bond shifting over time depending on your choices is so cool. there are 4 unique endings with some of them having different possible variations, so your choices throughout the game matter a lot. it’s definitely a more chill, slower game than the first one, but i feel that the character development makes up for it. sean is my favorite main character of all the lis games; he has such a strong characterization on his own, but is also relatable enough that you can put yourself in his shoes (at least, i could). i love it a lot.

3 - THE AWESOME ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN SPIRIT

yes, i’m counting this as a game. it rocks. i love chris & his voice actor, the game is delightfully adorable with just the right amount of emotion running throughout it, and it’s one of the best portrayals of what it’s like to be a young kid growing up with a parent who is struggling with addiction, depression, and grief. it’s the perfect lead-in to lis2. i’m only putting it this low because it’s short!

4 - TRUE COLORS

this game was.... fine. i really don’t have strong feelings about it. the visuals were stunning, the dialogue was good (it lost a lot of it’s cringey charm though), the characters were pretty strong, and the story had a good concept. unfortunately, it just fell flat for me. the twists were predictable and, most importantly for me, it didn’t make me cry!! :( i’m not itching to replay it anytime soon.

5 - alllllllll the way at the bottom... BEFORE THE STORM

the rest of this is just a huge fucking rant about bts...

i fucking hate this game fjskdjs i hate the dialogue, the voice acting (i’m sorryyyy but why did they NEED to make this game during the voice acting strike?? why did they NEED to make it without ashly burch???), i hate hate hate the story. the story makes NO sense, ignores canon, and even directly contradicts canon in some places. like, why the actual fuck would rachel’s dad be the DISTRICT ATTORNEY but when his daughter goes missing, he doesn’t give a shit? no one is looking for rachel?? nothing about rachel’s parents interested me at all, and it all felt so incredibly unrealistic. in the first game, we were dealing with things like time travel and a local kidnapping ring, but somehow it felt grounded in reality SO MUCH MORE than anything that happens in before the storm.
