Dick is a romani man who grew up too fast and is mean so often that it's as defining to him as his kindness is,has a darkskinned black woman as his soulmate who he's constantly talking about how much he loves and shows it just as much and is a multiple time SA victim who's triggered by being sexualized by strangers so ofc it's 'better' to exotify him even more than canon does,turn him into a doofus who's happy 24/7 and dosen't have a mean bone in his body,downplay his wife who's also one of his best friend's and has been since they met and replace her with your fave white girl or boy and transform him into a sex symbol to 'normalize casual sex' and 'for gender equality'

Damian is a biracial brown boy who was raised as a weapon instead of a child,loves his mom despite her faults,has severe self-eestem problems in the sense that he both believes he's better than anyone else and that he'll never live up to their greatness,developed violence as a coping mechanism,can't socialize normally because he was never taught to and is very much a child so ofc it's 'better' to draw him with no features from his parent of color for your unfunny and overrated and overdone 'they all look the same!!!' jokes,make him hate his own mother who was the only person who gave him genuine love,call him a narcissist as an insult when it's an actual personality disorder which he most definitely is developing/will grow up to have and 'feral' for shit that Jason and Tim have pulled,transform his lack of social skills into him being emotionless and careless and treat him like he's grown either so you can bash him or simp for him

lover boy - wip (re)intro

How do you navigate love after losing the person you loved the most?

I realised I don't like writing WIP intros where I just list everything super neatly + have a nice official summary so I am just going to infodump!! Lover Boy is an Adult Literary/Historical novel set in the late 1980s that follows a gay man's navigation of love, sexuality, community and grief after losing his best friend to AIDS. It's inspired by my own experiences of grief + caretaking and the dissertation I did on grief in queer AIDS narratives. It follows Beau, my beautiful special boy, and is like patchwork quilt of all of his avenues of love -- romantic, sexual, platonic, familial, communal, self -- that is stitched together with the grief from this one major loss. This is paralleled with chronological flashbacks telling the story of Bobby's illness, and how Beau took care of him.

Beau and Bobby are best friends who were platonically in love with each other, who had to adapt their relationship as Bobby got sicker and Beau became his caretaker, and in the midst of this adversity became closer than ever. Beau is a lover of love in all ways, who thinks the best holidays Halloween and Valentines Day, who loves sex but is bad at not falling in love afterwards, who has a soft heart, who also has a massive crush on George Michael. Bobby loved his life, his friends and going to the club with them, scenic hikes and swimming, his pet snake named Judas, leather and heavy metal and activism and also the Muppets (his fave was Gonzo btw). He was obsessed with volcanoes and wanted to be a volcanologist. And Beau misses him so much!!! He is trying to understand what his life is now after losing such a big part of it. He is trying to understand what kind of love he wants. He also is trying really hard not to fall back in love with his ex boyfriend who is back in the picture. And he is not really doing any of this well!!

Other features of this novel:

Gay + Autistic protagonist who doesn't know he is autistic but his special interest is horror movies and it shows (favourites are anything monstrous + full of bloodsoaked practical effects. Favourite of all time is The Lost Boys). Beau literally looks towards horror movies to try and understand grief and loss

Protagonist is a guy who actively wants to be haunted and is looking for any signs of ghosts

Lesbian + Gay + Bi + Trans + everything solidarity. An honouring of that history. Exploration on how the AIDS crisis shaped and reshaped community and identity because well, I did an entire dissertation on it and I am not putting that to waste!!! It is interesting and important!!

A narrative that is brutally honest about grief and death, and all the ways it is messy and complicated. A narrative that also doesn't always take itself seriously because sadness and joy are always holding hands

Narrative that plays around with form (video transcripts, letters, journal entries, descriptions of art) and POV (past + present tense blended together, third person present that often dips into second)

Exploration of caretaking on a community level and an intimate, one to one level. Look into how love is often all the little ways we help each other hold on.

Exploration of disability and sickness and how it shapes your identity, your relationship with yourself and others, especially when you're young (I also have a novella planned actually exploring this from Bobby's POV, but you didn't hear that from me!!!!)

The idea that grief never gets smaller, just your life grows around it

The idea that you can love your friends!!! You can be in love with them!! And that love is no "lesser" than romantic love, and it is just as beautiful and big and bright. Even when Beau navigates romantic relationships, these aren't put on a pedestal above any other type of love

I've been playing around with it in its current form for about a year now and am finally making a dent in an actual first draft. Ask the average Kpop Stan to give you a list of idols they think are queer coded and jk wouldn't even be in the top 50.

Saying jk is queer coded is like saying Justin Bieber or Chris brown type men are queer coded.

Also everyone wants their fave to be unique and they think being queer, depressed or autistic makes them unique. Sometimes your fave is just the average guy and that's ok.

I'm bored so here's some Hooligans headcanons I have.

- Bean is around 15 in my eyes, I can't help but see him as a kid he does not act like an adult. Bark is around 28. And Fang is somewhere in his 30s, which is surprising to people around him because they think he's some middle aged old man.

- I don't have any backstories for Fang and Bark yet but Bean is an orphan that Bark took in and started viewing him as a younger brother. And Fang is just some dude they came across in the black market. They all have some familial bond and Fang is the older brother to both.

- All of them are autistic.

- Bean is aroace, Fang is bi, and Bark is pan but also somewhere on the aro spectrum (maybe demi).

- Bean and Jet are cousins. Neither of them know that though.

- Idk if this will ever be canon even though the entire fandom sees it as such but Fang is absolutely an aussie and has a heavy aussie accent.

- I'm sorry but they're all chaotically dumb. As much as I like the idea of one of them being really smart but nah they all share a singular braincell. Bark probably has more common sense though as he's been through the most bs. You'd think Fang would have more common sense because he's older and should be more mature but nah Bark is.

- Bean is the type of kid to go "you got games on your phone?" and watch you play on your phone heavily breathing on your neck.

- On the topic of games Bean is absolutely a gamer and would play nothing but FNAF, Among Us, and Lethal Company. FNAF would probably be his special interest and he would absolutely quote the Freddy Fivebears guy on a daily basis. Bark probably dabbles in video games too but I see him as someone who would only play arcade fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. And Fang only plays Solitaire.

- Fang plays card games, with Black Jack probably being his favourite, and he SUCKS at them. He also gambles too but constantly loses. Bean and Bark only let him win out of pity for him. He doesn't know that though and thinks that they just suck at card games.

- Bark is the only one who can cook. I think his fave food would be fish and sushi (and seals but not mobian seals). Fang likes spicy foods and would probably be one of those people who can eat a whole bag of takis and not be affected by it. Bean has a sweet tooth and mostly eats candies. I think those candies with the strawberry wrapper that your grandma would carry in her purse (at least mine did) would be his favourite. He probably likes mangos and mango flavored stuff too. He also probably eats lip gloss.

- Fang is a smoker and absolutely an alcoholic. I think whiskey would be his favourite drink. Bark doesn't smoke but probably drinks too (but isn't an alcoholic like Fang) and his favourite drink would probably be straight vodka. Bean is still a kid and can't drink or smoke but I absolutely see him as a stoner in adulthood though (not addicted though probably the type to get stoned on the weekends).

- This is a sad one but they all have trauma. Bark and Bean are the only ones who go to therapy while Fang represses everything and drinks to cope. They desperately try to get him into therapy though and tries to break his habits and addictions.

Okay where do I start

Narancia was Mista’s Bisexual Awakening. He probably had crushes on other guys before/thought they were attractive, but Narancia was the one that made him realize. Oh shit I’m not just into girls.

On that note they’re both bi. Is bi4bi a term? Because they’re bi4bi.

They’re also both neurodivergent. Narancia’s autistic/ADHD, and you can pry OCD Mista from my cold dead hands.

Their PDA is like. Off the charts. Narancia is super clingy and affectionate, and Mista loves physical touch, so they’re almost always cuddling/hugging/holding hands/etc. If Mista’s sitting down, Narancia will climb into his lap. Narancia’s just standing around? Mista’s going to come up behind him and hug him, or put an arm around his shoulders. They will also go even further overboard if they sense it’s getting on Fugo’s nerves, just to torment him.

(Lowkey, they were also like this before they started dating. The only difference is they don’t do a whole “no homo” routine every five seconds.)

Narancia steals Mista’s clothes constantly. Mista doesn’t care, because he’s enough of a hopeless romantic to get butterflies in his stomach every time he sees Narancia in one of his shirts.

Their music tastes are wildly different with very little overlap, but they’ll sometimes try to make mixtapes that incorporates both. Listening to them is like having horrible whiplash, because they’ll go from the Notorious B.I.G. to Sarah McLachlan with no warning. 

Mista has tried to make them a ~smooching time~ mixtape like a true early 2000s teenager, but Narancia started laughing uncontrollably like three songs in because he put like. Careless Whisper or some shit unironically

A lot of their relationship on the outside is silly shenanigans, but privately, they’re surprisingly good at supporting each other through emotional baggage - and both of them have quite a bit. 

Mista has a tendency to try and push things down for the sake of appearing stable, and sometimes gets too focused on being a caretaker for others without giving himself a chance to let others care for him, but Narancia knows him well enough to notice when it’s happening, and stubborn enough to not let him get away with it. Narancia, to his credit, is actually good at communicating his own feelings. A lot of times, they just need reassurance that the other is with them and there to lean on.

Again, they’re definitely physical touch-oriented, so that definitely plays into their comfort - holding each other as tight as they can, or just cuddling close under a heavy blanket, helps ease their anxieties.

They sing and dance together whenever they’re doing stuff around the house, like cleaning or cooking dinner. Narancia is. Not A Great Singer. But Mista is, so sometimes Narancia just stops and listens to him for a while, and he swoons every time.

I just realized I haven't really introduced myself yet so let's change that!

My name is Kay, and I'm 35, agender (any pronouns work for me, though I usually use they/them in reference to myself), bi af, and an obsessive autistic.

The Fandoms I primarily draw/drabble for are currently Dragon Age, Demon Slayer, and Otome, though here you'll only see the Demon Slayer pieces. (@otomesass is where you can find much more, like kpop and some personal project stuff too!)

I am always open for suggestions, and you're more than welcome to jump into my inbox to suggest things you'd like to see, but there are a couple rules!-

Keep it simple- please don't request a whole ass scene with 30 characters and a full background. I mainly drawn in linework and will occasionally paint, but for the most part know when I draw requests it'll almost always just be sketches (unless the topic catches my fancy... I've been known to go overboard 😅) Please keep requests to 1-2 characters, or a third if they're minor (like X,Y, and a baby).

I will NOT under any circumstances draw ship pairings with adult and minor characters. Yall take your tanjiro/kyojuro (just for example) bullship elsewhere bc it's not happening here. Same goes for incest parings. I also will not draw smut for minor characters either.

Be nice when you request things please! I do this for free, don't be an ass.

I will draw smut, fluff, or anything in between, but even I have my limits. Please don't request things like CNC (I get it, it's my problematic fave too), or anything remotely touching on Dubcon. It's impossible to write consent into a snapshot so I won't even touch it.

I WILL draw for all body types, genders, and orientations. Gay, trans, fat, whatever! Just make sure you state that in your requests so I can give you what you want!

last book you enjoyed reading: ugh i haven't had the capacity to actually sit down and read a physical book for... too long it's been ages. it's mostly to do with my disabilities and time :( i started reading good omens on my phone but i didn't finish it (i like it so much better than the show lmao). but the actual physical book i read last was "death sets sail" by robin stevens, the final book in her "murder most unladylike" series. ough. ive been with that book series from literally the very beginning. id highly recommend 👍

favourite thing to cook/bake: sadly i don't do enough cooking or baking to know but what i have made is fudge which was quite fun! ive also made a delicious cheesy pasta bake hehe

favourite craft to do in your free time: again. i haven't had the capacity or time to actually make any art since like... march, so, 7 months. yeesh. i miss making digital art. id like to pick it up again but idk when that'll be. id also like to try and get a badge maker bc i have loads of ideas but ugh time is a problem. im just so busy at uni.

most niche dislike: im sure there's Something since im autistic and autism is the Strong Opinions Disorder but nothing's coming to me atm [shrugs]

opinion on circuses: ive only been to one in my life and i really enjoyed it apart from the clowns who i found scary but i was like 8 i think. im less scared of clowns now. also the general aesthetics of them fuck severely

do you have any sense of direction: hardly lol! i have a great photographic memory so even going a certain route once with someone who knows the way i can remember it HOWEVER i am utter shit at finding my way with a map on my own. google maps is always open when im trying to find a place and even then i frequently go in the wrong direction or miss a turning. i just cannot translate distance on a digital map to irl distance. don't even get me started on using a traditional map bc g-d above. id end up more lost than i was before. im excellent at just confusing the hell out of myself <3

Introduction Post

Hello everyone, I'm Lucy and since this has become my primary social media besides Twitch (LucyRiver), it is probably time for an intro post :3

My pronouns are he/they/she in order of current preference. Please do not call me a man, woman, lady. Gender-wise, I'm nonbinary, (gender)queer, trans masc and trans neutral, and butch as a gender. (I'm on the waiting list for gender care, it's gonna take 2.5 years :c )

I'm bisexual (and I also identify with pansexual or m-spec in general, but prefer bisexual out of those). The bi pride flag is my fave pride flag. I also consider myself gay for all genders.

I'm on the aromantic spectrum. The mental line for me between romantic partner or close friend I (would) have sex with is very thin. I am in a 'romantic' (atypical) relationship with my partner Tom. It is long distance and there's little hope of that changing any time soon :(

I am polyamorous. I have no issues with having multiple partners, whether romantic or sexual, as long as everyone agrees to it. I don't really get jealousy when it comes to relationships. I'd be more like encouraging my partner(s) to explore than anything else. Fun fact: this is one of my first identities I ever figured out.

I identify highly as queer, both in an LGBTQIA+++ way and in a more general way. I was always the weird kid, the nerd, the outsider. And I've embraced it by now.

I'm autistic and disabled. I am most disabled my my social anxiety and by lack or energy and executive dysfunction.

I'm radically inclusive considering almost anything. I am anti gatekeeping. We are stronger together. I'm very anti-capitalism and sceptical of governments/politicians.

I am anti harassment/abuse/bullying and anti call-out posts which are most of the times just calls to harass specific (and in my experience usually marginalised) people.

I try to tag common triggers as much as I can and know about them. I try to include image descriptions or transcripts and look through notes for descriptions. If there's something you'd like me to tag for, or need a description for something I reblogged, please feel free to message me and ask.

My hobbies/interests are video games, cooking, various creative pursuits, fan fiction, animals, board/card games, gender and sexuality, nature, autism and disability in general.

HEAD CANNON TIME!

This is just a few of my personal MHA head cannons that I love to death and figured I should share some!

- Shoto figures out it he’s Ace. When he and Izuku get together at Uni, he thinks he’s Demi for a while, but with time finds he’s Ace and mostly sex repulsed. Izuku and him break up on good terms, Shoto moves out of their shared apartment and finds his own place. Shoto absolutely becomes a cat dad and has multiple cats.

- Izuku is Pansexual, finding himself attracted to both Ochako, Shoto and non-binary Jiro or Denki. He doesn’t care for labels, but mainly does it to help others understand how his attraction works.

- Denki is Non-binary and bisexual, attracted to both Jiro and Shinso. Uses he/they pronouns. Dates Jiro in high school, but ends up with Shinso in Uni.

- Jiro doesn’t care for labels and wears whatever gives them euphoria. They date whoever they like, they don’t care LOL

- Momo is 100% lesbian and tries to keep it on the down low, but isn’t successful lmao

- Mei Hatsume is Autistic and Ace.

- Iida is also Ace:) I HC as them becoming a couple. I just love the dynamic!

- Bakugo is 100% gay, had a previous crush on Izuku and has a lot of internalized homophobia. He starts working on it in his 2nd year and he absolutely has Kirishima’s heart.

- Kirishima is bisexual, leaning more towards men. Dated Mina for a hot minute, but it didn’t last long. Bro is such a bi mess, especially for Bakugo. Also he can give some goddamn good head, despite his teeth. Both men and women alike are blown away whenever he does. And he drives Bakugo absolutely insane with it, despite his initial hesitation.

- Mina is Pan and definitely is into Role Reversal, both non sexually and sexually. She’ll definitely be a Mommy Dom.

- Shoji is straight¿? He’s not sure lol, he is Reciprosexual and is down to fuck if you are.

- Tokayami definitely has some sort of depression.

- Shinso is gay, flaming gay lmao. He doesn’t express his attraction very often bc he doesn’t think anyone would find him attractive and doesn’t see what they see. He is confident in his abilities as a hero, thanks to Aizawa’s training. He knows he can kick ass and isn’t afraid to do underground work. When Denki eventually expresses his feelings for him, Shinso doesn’t believe him.

- Tsu is lesbian

- Ochako is undetermined and dated Tsu in high school and Uni.

Hello! I am willing to ramble about my WIPs in exchange for hearing about your WIPs!!

I actually have three right now, but I really only wanna talk about one or two of them right now.

One of them is called Call of Shadows and it's a fantasy/adventure duology that I'm really in love with.

The main concept is that a thief is hired to steal a magic object, but instead of finding an artifact finds the Crown Prince who has been thought to be dead for three years. Turns out he is being kept there against his will by his aunt, who took his place to be Queen. The Prince begs the thief to help him escape over the mountains in the east, and they reluctantly agree.

Along the way they are hunted by a mysterious, maybe-not-entirely-human entity known as the Huntsman, and they slowly begin to trust each other. Oh, and the Prince has shadow magic, which is really, really rare, and most people believe it's the result of dealings with demons in some way or another. Also, there's a magic slug named Squish involved.

Ultimately, it's a story about found family, and choosing what's best for yourself, even if that goes against what others expect from you. Oh, and the antagonist isn't evil. She's redeemable because you find out she never did anything that bad in the first place, not because someone forgives her despite her not deserving it, or because she's attractive, etc.

The Cast:

Dorian - The Prince, aroace, he/him [POV Character] Ashlin - The Thief, bi-romantic ace, she/they, probably has ADHD. [POV Character] Squish - Magic Slug, communicates via squeaks and chirps. Lenora - The Queen, lesbian, she/her, not actually evil [antagonist] Theo - The Healer, aroace, they/them, autistic, doesn't show up until book two yet is somehow still my fave. [Supporting Character] Calista - The Smuggler, bi, she/her, an old friend of Ashlin's [Supporting Character]

Ooh, you had me at the premise already, but the magic slug sealed the deal! I love the concept of characters with shadow magic not being villains or antagonists. It's underused, in my opinion, so I love that one of your main characters has it! And I'm so curious about the Huntsman, that name is so ominous. I'd totally buy this on an impulse if I came across it in a bookstore <3

The main WIP I'm currently working on does not have a title yet (I'm bad at those lol), but it's a paranormal thriller set in New England. It takes some inspiration from early seasons of Supernatural, but with a young adult cast (I'm actually hoping to introduce them either tonight or later this week, as I've mostly got them down).

The basic storyline is two siblings on a fall-break trip to their grandmother get stranded in a town called New Ellington, near the White Mountains, when their car breaks down. They get help from a mechanic's son, but the town isn't so willing to let them go just yet.
