Now seriously why no-one in team rwby comfort Jaune after finding out he was stuck alone in ever after for who knows how long??? Decades??? That's so fucked up that Ruby doesn't gaf cuz "I have traumah" (what about Jaune's trauma??), Weiss only thought is that he is hot now (hes hot cuz he was alone there for long long time gurl), Black and Yang doesn't care too. I never liked Jaune cuz he stole screentime but tf is going on in this volume?

Guys yall's friend was STUCK ALONE ON THAT ISLAND FOR YEARS why do you not give a fuck???? But when they feel boohoo sad we should care and everyone should make them feel better? BRUH

Let's be honest, it's been established for over three volumes now that Team RWBY's compassion is extremely narcissistic and conditional.

Even if you're currently going through the wringer, these girls will probably just use your trauma to highlight their own problems or to rope you into being on their side.

Remember how Blake deadass started to invoke Ilia's dead parents to win an argument?

Or how Weiss pointed Remnant's equivalent of a loaded gun at Whitney, an unarmed civilian? And also her younger brother? And why? Because Whitney processed his abuse under Jacques in a very different way from her and was bitter toward her and Winter for just up and leaving him with their sorry excuses for parents.

Heck, remember how Weiss and Yang treated pretty much every Afteran like shit if they weren't useful for Team RWBY? I mean, the Curious Cat was helpful, but because they had their own quirks, Yang and Weiss constantly bitch and moan at them and never stop to consider that the Cat isn't a robot they can treat like garbage whenever they feel like it.

Ruby straight-up dismissed Ironwood as evil when he tried to make a hard choice, then inserted herself into Penny's conversation with him to basically spit in his face. And her outburst over Jaune's village being destroyed was really just her whining that WBY was paying attention to a man who just lost several friends over her, the poor little girl "forced" to be the leader. Except, you know. Nobody ever forced Ruby into a leadership position. Ruby elbowed herself into the center of attention and then started crying that everyone was looking at her.
