Okay I can't be the only one who gets so much joy out of him unconsciously doing cat things in the cat suit - like okay I know it's a cat power-up but technically it's just supposed to give him cat reflexes and abilities, not behaviors. When he dodges DK's swing, his cat ears flip down and back, when DK is running at him or moving in an unpredictable way he arches his back, when he was taking in the praise from the crowd he started kneading little biscuits on DK's back. I just love these cute little details they make me so happy

Lute was nervous, she always was when it came to Adam but she was usually better at hiding it.

She didn’t even realize she had said it once it came from her mouth.

“I wish you’d just kiss me.”

‘Well that was stupid.’ She knew from the look on her friends face that she had royally screwed up, or at the least threw him through a whirlwind of emotions. Lute stared back at Adam for awhile before snapping her fingers in front of his face.

“Hello? Earth to Adam.” She spoke with a nervous tone and before she could even finish saying his name she felt his hands grab the sides of her head and his lips press to hers.

It took her awhile to process but even as she was processing, it’s like her body reacted by itself and she kissed him back.

She never cared for dumb things like love or romance, and affection quite honestly sickened her when she saw it in public - But Adam. Damnit, she’d be lying if she said he didn’t make her wish she could at least hold his hand.

“Lute. You’re a bitch. I spent years flirting with you and now you finally say something? Fucking shit, lady…” He smiled. She loved his smile, especially when he smiled after she did something stupid. She didn’t feel embarrassed anymore, she felt rather happy she said something stupid. Wait, did he say years?
