It would appear that the Unicorn Overlord fanbase is proportionately more homophobic than the typical audience for my videos. I wonder why that is?

Also, I continue to be baffled by how YouTube's automatic comment moderation works. This one doesn't show up for me under the video (which is probably why the same person left a shorter and less explicitly inflammatory comment just after), but it does pop up in the list of recent comments that I can see on my creator dashboard - and not in this list of those being held for review. YT has a comment limbo, I guess.

never actually thought they could make the youtube app worse but look at that.

i literally have the tallest phone known to man yet i am physically unable to see any of the channel's most recent/featured videos in favor of an algorithmically picked pool of videos in this new For You column.

and before you had the entire bottom half of the screen vacant in terms of input - meaning you could very easily swipe right to get to the Videos tab. the part ive marked in yellow here is literally the only space on screen you can do that now.

theyve made accessing THE VIDEOS TAB on YOUTUBE an active nuisance.

For anyone who doesn't know what this is about, Youtube has totally disabled the homepage video recommendations unless you turn on your 'watch history.'

This means your homepage will now be totally blank, and I mean blank, unless you're willing to let youtube record your shit so it can 'improve recommendations in Youtube and other google products.'

And if you don't enable it, every time you visit your homepage you'll just get that nagging message.

Before this happened, for people who disabled their watch history, Youtube just recommended videos based on their liked videos. So a watch history wasn't even needed to get recs.

Fyi I guess.

An Incubus and Four Elementals Walk Into a Party...

Lasko was late picking up rolls, so he was late picking up (his) Listener, so now he and Listener are late to the gathering. Lasko is obviously anxious, rambling a lot but he is confident that everything will go well, asking how Listener is feeling. They both seem excited.

Damien greets Lasko and Listener at the door. Lasko asks how it's going and Damien claims that Huxley has kicked him out of the kitchen "for his [Damien] own good."

Enter Gavin, he greets Listener and Lasko. Damien pleads for Gavin's help getting back into the kitchen. Gavin isn't much help...the four decide to play Mario Kart while they wait for Huxley and Freelancer to be done in the kitchen.

In the kitchen, something is smoking and Huxley burns himself. Damien tries to come into the kitchen, he and Huxley are adorable, the rolls are burnt.

Listener and Lasko sneak into the kitchen so he can introduce them to Huxley and Freelancer. Classic Huxley gives some hugs, Freelancer and Listener exchange some silence. Lasko and Huxley finish up dinner while Listener and Freelancer "chat."

Dinner time! Huxley gives a toast! And we leave off there as everyone gets ready to eat.

Oh Youtube rolled out their trash update to the layout earlier this week and it's been pissing me off. BUT, I found a fix if you use UblockOrigin, and you should, add this to your filters.

and select "Apply"
