@ MINOR & ADULT Systems Still Living with Your Abusers / in an Abusive Environment — PLEASE READ IN FULL

Finding out about the inner workings of Your OSDDID when you still live with Your Abusers; is an excellent exercise in creating an inaccurate, or skewed view of yourself.

Attempting to document/detail system structures, triggers & trauma, indepth alter counts — without the help of supports like; medical professional(s) / your own place / cutting off abuser contact(s) / IRL found-family — is going to be incredibly difficult because your system is still being abused & triggered.

The combination of Your Brain & Body undergoing rapid growth changes; your system still being in a highly incognito state, and The Fact You Are Still Being Abused = You require a greater level of constant dissociative compartmentalization, and trauma responses, to survive your day-to-day.

Which makes it Damn Near Impossible to accurately assess whats going on inside; if your reaction was an fragment or an alter, if it was a cPTSD flashback, or any other Disordered Behaviours that are not indicative of OSDDID. (Psychosis, BPD states, Autism/ADHD behaviours, NPD states, etc)

Additionally; when living with your abusers, your mind is absolutely in survival mode. You are not going to accurately 100% understand when you are a different identity state VS when your having a temporary reaction to your environment. (ie; Fawn, Freeze, Flight, Fight, etc.)

Your understanding of yourself & your state of mind Will Change After Escaping your abusers/environment. EVEN IF you were able to be accurate- that is not going remain accurate.

Simply because; once you escape your Abusive Environment, your brain Will Just Start reordering its whole perception of Life & Your System, to adjust for how different life is when you are not reliant on your abusers.

Which Just to Clarify!! Ignoring this advice & and doing this the hard way; resulting in being wrong about your system- will not kill you. But like it IS a massive pain in the ass to have to choose between;

Ignoring your previous hard work & rediscover your system from scratch again

Wade up your big kid pants and start working through a swamp of teenage idiocy to find out if anything is remotely accurate to present day

Some insane mixture of the above.

The point of this is, Your DID/OSDD isn’t going to leave just because You start prioritizing Yourself.

To any Minor or Adult Systems stuck with Your Abusers, you are allowed to survive first and ask questions later. Your System means nothing if you aren’t safe enough to live as yourself- Please Prioritize Your Survival Over Understanding.

🚨ART THEFT WARNING🚨

This is a PSA for fellow artists that @/orendaforest has taken to tracing my art and passing it off as their own. They have used my lines for COMMISSION WORK that they profited off of and what’s more- they refuse to admit they traced my work.

I requested they take the posts that show my work down and they have, though they continued to deny having traced anything. They’ve ONLY taken the posts on tumblr down, not any of the work from their cardd or other media. I’m not sure if there are other artists works who have been taken, but figured it safer to make a post. Below are the pictures they had on their blog and the pieces they traced overlayed on top:

I have since blocked them and urge others to do the same. This is so incredibly infuriating and in turn makes it hard for me to feel like sharing my art- even though I need to to help support myself. Please be vigilant and if you see something, say something. Theft is theft.

Additionally, if anyone knows the people who commissioned some of these pieces (or are the commissioner themself) please feel free to contact me in DM’s. I’d like to make them aware of this ASAP so they know the situation!

I'm not the first person to say this but I'd absolutely love for the next arc to take place like 10-15 years in the future with a fresh storyline. Or even one of the leaders we know nothing about in the old territories before Mapleshade's Vengeance.

I just think you stop fing with the timeline and ruining characters if you move far away from them.

Maybe Firestar and the others show up in StarClan to talk to the future cats but otherwise leave us alone.

I just looooove thinking about the parallers between Rootspring and Shadowsight... Like Shadowsight is this child profet who has had visions his whole life and is the son of the beloved leader. Then in the time of crisis he's the only one who can communicate with Starclan and is made medicinecat very early. And then there's Rootspring, the son of an outsider weirdo who everyone is very distrustful of, who inherited his father's power to commune with the dead but everyone thinks it's weird and he really tries to hide it the best he can. He's bullied and looked down on for being and outsider. BUT THEN it turns out Shadowsight was wrong and was lead on by an evil dude and now it's actually Rootspring who can commune with the right dead cats and ends up being very heroic and Shadowsight on the other hand is now ridden with quilt and inprisoned EVERYTHING GETS FLIPPED! I LOVE THAT! I WISH IT WAS MORE OF A PART IN THE STORY! and I love Bristle but I think to complete the parallers Root and Shadow should be the couple, to be the opposite of the ghosts they commune with, who hate eachother
