Photographer Wang Yuanling has shown his photos depicting some residents of Chongqing.

Images were taken in 2010, in Shibati village, an old slum, close to the city downtown. Soon, it will be demolished and its resident is moving to new areas.

Some reference for my Uchiha Madara’s Chinese culture inspired portrayal. Credits to Google and ziseviolet.

1. Madara wears a jade hairpin or jade hairpiece to keep some of his hair up. Jade symbolises purity, innocence, and unmarried. It makes a lot of sense to keep his hair away from his eyes when pouring over books, scrolls, and maps, as he works alot. 2. Yuanling Pao (round collar dress, open or closed neck) and armoury belt or sword belt is great for travelling, horse riding, or informal events, due to its tighter fit being conducive for larger movement. 3. Hanfu (cross collar dress with / without wide sleeve overcoat) for everyday wear in court, events, clan settings, etc. 4. Waist ornaments hanging from sash or belt. Some examples: Jade coin, Jade plaque, Embroidered tassels with various motifs.
