I just realized what makes MC so special amongst the cast.

Now aside from the usual things people point out like the fact that they are N.R.C.'s unofficial therapist and the only student without magic, there's also one thing that also makes MC unique.

In chapter 6, it repeatedly stated by Leona that N.R.C. has it's own sort of hierarchy. A system that keeps everyone in line and in check. "The strong order around the weak", or something around those lines. In short , the hierarchy is ruled by the strong and lowest on the hierarchy get pushed and pulled by those on the top. But there is one outlier to this hierarchy.

MC.

See, MC is technically the weakest student at N.R.C, they have no magic to defend themselves. But they still order around Ace and Deuce, in big battles they are the one telling people what to do, they are ordering around other characters who are much stronger than them.

Part of the reason I think MC is even allowed the privilege of exemption from the hierarchy is because they are friends with everyone at the top of that hierarchy. They are exempt from it all because everyone is too scared to mess with the people backing them up rather MC themselves.

Headcanon: Yuu, Ace, Deuce, and Grim somehow managed to train carrier pigeons and/or ravens to send messages to each other when they couldn't use their phones.

It started out as a punishment from Riddle, but now they just genuinely enjoy writing and hanging out with the birds. Plus, there's the benefit of easily burning the evidence of whatever cursed bs they draw or write.

These idiots have good ideas, sometimes.

as an astrology hoe, it annoys me that the dear vocalist characters don't have a date of birth and a zodiac sign for god knows what reason, so here i am to assign a zodiac sign to each one of them :D

💗 RE-O-DO — VIRGO

reo is the perfectionist type: he's very critical, both towards himself and the others. his disciplined, ingenious, scrupulous demeanor makes him the perfect virgo. and yet, the virgo loses his mind when his feelings are deep: this explains how he's a clingy and cuddly little boy with his lover, completely erasing his usual personality lol

💛 JOSHUA — CANCER

honestly i'm pretty conflicted about whether to choose pisces or cancer, but i think the latter wins. joshua is a babyboy!! he's sensitive, sweet and speaks softly. he's also really emotional tho, and easily ends trapped in his own thoughts. the cancer needs to be understood and protected, so to put it simply: protect joshua at all costs :(

💚 A' — AQUARIUS

a toned down version of judah. this boy is indeed hot-blooded, but he doesn't show it as much as a fire sign would (key words: as much). the scorpio tries hard to keep it together and be normal, being actually part of the "quiet squad", but he's brutally honest and can snap at any time. this bitch attracts quarrels: he does it ALL THE TIME!! and with his lover too!! but this just stems from tenacity and determination. scorpios do have a soft side, but you gotta dig a bit for it: this is like the ultimate tsundere sign lol

💜 MOMOCHI — GEMINI

where do i even begin. momochi's double personality makes it pretty obvious why i chose this sign :D geminis have a pretty flexible and mutable personality, plus a VERY instable emotional control and this fits a yandere personality a lot. not to mention that the gemini is very creative and clever, making him a genius!

Okay but can we as a community start talking about Yuu snapping? Because like, I know every twst fan has thought about that moment.

That moment where everything, every single mask, every unfulfilled promise, every bridge made, everything. Is burnt to the ground by our hands, and we're left to stand in the middle of it all. Like being in the eye of a hurricane. Everything around you is destroyed, but you're left unscathed. For now, that is.

I also wanna talk about other characters reaction to the snap. We all know the first years, including Sebek who has his reservations, would be heartbroken and distraught at the sight of Yuu in a blind rage. Destroying all that comes close.

I think that's also what could cause Grim to overblot, he tries stopping Yuu or protecting them from the onslaught of other students magic and in turn he snaps too. Turning into an angry beast eager to destroy just like his master.

But also think about the people Yuu helped through their overblots. While Yuu isn't the closest to the overblot boys, I can't help but imagine that all of them held Yuu in high regard. So seeing Yuu snap like thats makes them think that all the work they did, all they progress they made, all the times they tried to change, it was for nothing. Because if someone as good as Yuu was unable to save themselves from a snap, who are they?

I could just be picking straws, but I think if Yuu ever actually snapped, it be a chain reaction if events that would lead the future of N.R.C. six feet under.

Just a thought...
