My only issue really with the PJO series is the length. The episodes are too short, the season is too short. I mean, The Lightning Thief isn't a long book, but it certainly needed more than eight 30-45 minute episodes. Because of that it felt rushed a bit. It didn't feel rushed at first, but I think after episode three that's when I started to feel it. But yeah yards and yards and yaaaaards better than the Logan Lerman movie and that was really the only thing I was worried about the most: another train wreck of an adaptation. It was the same story and the same characters and the same tone. Most of the changes made sense or didn't affect the overall story. Some of them made it all even better like the flashback scenes to Percy's childhood and seeing Sally raising him on her own.

Season one was a success I'd say.
