Task 1 - Goals for the future

Carleigha -

Come to terms with her health issues - Despite knowing what the future could mean for her, the return of her heart troubles has thrown her for a loop. All the things that loomed over her future are now in her present and she's scared. She has yet to fully explain it to anyone, generally brushes it off as nothing to worry about. Deep down she knows she needs to comes to terms so she can find the strength the get through the good, the bad, and potentially fatal.

Find a future - She may have a sunshine personality she's always had a grim outlook on her future. It's prevented her from really investing in the long-term of things in her work, in relationships, in pet ownership even. She still wants those things, just needs to find the hope and desire to fight for it.

Mystery - With her love for all things mysteries, she's always wanted to be involved in a real life mystery. She knows its not likely to ever happen but its still on her bucket list.

Alexandria

Healing - Alexandria has spent the majority of her life focused on fitting an image on playing a role. Building up her tech company, as much as she loved her work, had always been about showing Xavier that she could be something without his influence, even showing her biological dad she could be something without him in her life. Within the past year she's made steps to finding something she loves that's just for her. Her goal is to continuing finding herself outside of being a good Fortier daughter.

Love - A chronic ghoster, the idea of being in love has always scared her. She came close back in New York but got scared and used the excuse of being closer to her family in Colorado as a way to slowly distance herself from the relationship. She has always been so proud of her brother for finding love and building his family. On some level she knows part of healing is believing that she's enough and taking a chance to find that herself.

Motherhood - Despite not having a happy childhood, some of her fondest memories are interactions with her mother. She loves being the fun aunt, but in more recent years she's wondered if she had what it takes to be a mother, even if not to her own child but to give a home to child who needed one.

Zeke -

Work - As much as Zeke loves his job, he knows the dangers of smokejumping. He knows that one wrong jump or a fire going the wrong way could sideline him. Each season he reminds himself that he needs a backup plan and each season he tells himself that he's find and procrastinates. He will eventually be forced not to procrastinate anymore.

Love - Zeke has always watched his parent's love so fondly. He has always wanted a love like that for himself and hopes to find it someday. He's found it hard to find someone who accepts the danger of his job or that he can be gone for days on end but still he holds out hope.

Hobbies - He tends to live and breath his work. When he's not at the station he's training. He wants to get back into his hobbies and find a part of himself outside of his work. Back to star-gazing, to working at the local shelter.

Melissa -

Work - Mel loves her work as a medical examiner, she loves being able to give a voice to those who have passed on. More recently however Aurora has expressed a worry that she spends too much time with the dead and on some level she can't help but agree. She has enjoyed helping out in the ER but wants to do more for the community and has been tossing around the idea of opening a clinic in town.

Love - As much as she is haunted on some level by her love for her husband she knows that he wouldn't want her to be alone, to never take a chance on love again. She goal is to atleast try and even let her daughter put her up on a dating app.

Finding herself - For the longest time she has been defined by her relationship to others or her work. Medical student and Military wife. For the last fifteen years its been doctor and mother. Somewhere along the way she's lost sight of herself and what makes her truly happy. She's determined to find her way back.

Griffin

Work - Griffin is ever honored in the faith that Edgar has in him to handle Sun Wukong. He's done is best to ensure that the transition went well, he is determined to prove that his faith in him wasn't misplaced and he has a few ideas and the drive to see them through to keep Sun Wukong as a Top name in security.

Finding trust again - Since his wife left, he's spent much of that time focusing on being a good father. He's gone on a few dates here and there' but he's struggled to find the ability to trust someone enough to let them into his and his daughter's lives again.

Get a life - There's something disconcerting about your 8 year old spitfire of a daughter telling you that you need a life. He can't deny that she's not wrong and he's been working on getting back to his hobbies, like martial arts and maybe joining an adult soccer league.

Carleigha - Part of her does desire romance, she enjoys the affection and cuddles (especially playing with hair) and she adores watching love blossom especially for her friends and family, however for herself, she knows the reality of her health issues and hates the idea of burdening someone with those troubles. Because of this she leans toward casual relationships or flings and gets skittish when feelings are involved.

Zeke - Growing up seeing his parent's marriage he can't help but want that for himself. He does seek it out, but he wont deny that his feelings for Ace have developed naturally over their friendship, not that he's gotten up the nerve to tell him or risk their friendship. He's had relationships in the past and he's found that the danger of the work he does is hard for some to accept.

Alexandria - Alex has always been more focused on work and building up Heira tech. Love, Romance and even relationships tended to take a back seat. It was an easy excuse really to hide her fear that she would just ruin things. A year ago, something clicked in her when she found herself falling for Hannah, she panicked thinking about the future. Her friend talked her down but also made her realize that if she was ever going to be open to a relationship she needed to try living for herself and not for the image she wanted preserve for her parents. While she didn't handle things with Hannah in the best way she is working on healing those old wounds.

Mel and Griffin - Both Melissa and Griffin have spent their past years focused mostly on daughters. Its ironic that both daughters have prompted their parents to seek out love. Both are even on dating websites.

Melissa - Aurora loves it so they've had a habit of reading their horoscopes every once in a while.

Carleigha - See her brother get married (Get on it Christian), Solve a real life mystery, get a new heartgo bungee jumping.

Alexandria - Get her mother away from Xavier, Become a mother, Watch Edgar find his happiness (hopefully with Marco)

Zeke - Get married, Go on a hike/Visit every National park in the US and possibly other international parks, Visit NASA

Melissa - Watch her daughter find love, find herself again, visit the place where her parents grew up before immigrating.

Griffin - Watch his daughter grow up and find her place in the world, go to see the World Cup,

Drew - Find the person who set his house on fire, ride his bike across the country maybe even down to South America, Drive a formula 1 race car.

the tower - favorite colors to wear

Carleigha - She doesn't have particular colors she likes, she leans toward floral or pokka dots, though she leans toward jewel tones when wearing solids.

Alexandria - Cobalt blue

Zeke - He's partial to burgundy but he doesn't particularly have a favorite.

Melissa - She doesn't really have a favorite but her favorite scrubs were purple.

Griffin - Green, his daughter knows his favorite color is green and continually has gotten him shirts in varying shades of the color.

Drew - Black

the moon: have you ever written a love letter?

Zeke - He did for a bit in grade school before texting became far more fun and instant.

Melissa - Mel still has the letters she and tommy sent back and forth during his years in the service. She pulls them out occasionally.

Griffin - He wrote his ex-wife a few. Her burned them along with the dear john letter.

Drew - He had one or two from Seda but he was never really very good at putting his feelings into words, he showed it the best he could in actions though.
