What if they do make a new Danganronpa game for say the PS5, but Sony forced Spike to censor the game by say removing any fanservice content for potential female characters. Do you think fans would be upset about that? Think of it like this, what if V3 came out in 2019 or 2020 and Sony forced Spike to censor the game by say removing the Love Suite Events, toning down Miu's hypersexuality and removing the shower scene in chapter 3. Would fans be upset about that?
I don't know for sure if this has ever happened; I've heard rumors of Sony pushing some censorship decisions in the past, but they typically claim it was always the publisher's decision in the end, so idk if this is a very realistic concept or not.
Regardless of why such a thing would happen, would fans be upset if such a thing did happen? Oh, absolutely. ESPECIALLY in the scenario you described.
Because in truth, it doesn't even matter what the affected content is. It doesn't matter if changes are made that do not affect gameplay at all — it doesn't even matter if the changes didn't affect dialogue! History has proven that even if the decision is simply to remove sexual events involving goddamned six-year-olds (see: when Spike Chunsoft made the executive decision to remove that from Zanki Zero: Last Beginning in the west), a loud contingent will still get pissed over missing out on that pedo content.
It doesn't matter WHAT the content is: People always want ALL of the source material to make it West unaltered. Even if it's objectively shitty for the content to exist in the first place, a loud contingent of Internet chuds will CLAMOR to see it.
And if it's not objectively shitty content, as in what you described? The enraged crowd is going to be LOUDER and MORE powerful.

A little late, but my black friday order from videogamesplus arrived. That's what happens when you get stuff from Canada in winter. But they've also had good sales lately, so they must be busy. I had to scale back too, and remove a few things, narrowing it down to these games. And the temptation is still there too. As they got more sales and new titles to offer. I bought a decent variety, mostly anime related. Ps3, Ps4, Xbox One, and Switch. I'm happy.

Recently finished playing Zanki Zero after putting it off for several years.
I enjoyed the gameplay, even if the battle system can feel repetitive, and I enjoyed some of the character's individual stories a lot. But chapter 7 completely lost my interest and the final chapter wasn't that great either.
The downsides of the game make it hard to recommend, but I do think its a bit of a shame it never seemed to catch on with fandom for the sake of seeing what creative things fans could have done with the game. Oh well.
