A/N: A little Demon Slayer cause I just got another request for them too.

Tanjiro waits for you to get comfortable before wrapping both of his arms around you and sighing contently against your neck. Between his constant training and all the missions you have to go on he more then welcomes calm moments like this where you can relax in each other's company. Likes to nuzzle against you, he picked that up from Nezuko but don't tell her she already teases him about how affectionate he is when he's with you. Zenitsu goes as still as a board when you casually sit in his lap like it's no big deal and the best thing that's happened to him today. He likes the small talk, it helps him calm down and also keeps him from not freaking out about having you this close. Really hopes you can't hear how fast his heart is beating against his chest. His kiss against your cheek is lightning fast, you barely feel it but you hear his little yelp when you whisper you'd like another one.

Inosuke grabs hold of you as soon as you sit down in his lap. Now you're trapped and you're not going anywhere! That was your plan? Oh. Well he thought of it first, so he wins either way. He's not the type to sit still doing nothing for long so he's not gonna leave you alone when he has you this close to him. Your neck is gonna look like it's been attacked when he's done with it, many bite marks running from one side to the other, then covered by licks and kisses as you squirm in his lap. If you didn't want to get teased you really shouldn't have sat down.

Tengen grins against your neck as he places his hands on your thighs and begins to slowly kiss your neck. the way he falls in love is very subtle, and at first he doesn't even realize his feelings

its just a fluttery warm feeling in his chest when your hands accidentally touch, or his soft thoughts when he sees you just being yourself

when it hits him, it hits him hardd

like makes him physically sick to think about it (sick with nerves suddenly)

won't look you in the eye, will jump about a foot back if you're too close, the works

but, i think he'd adjust well after that, because

i mean he's lucky to have fallen in love with you, of all people

why be afraid to show it?

he's very respectful, and sometimes eye contact becomes a little intimidating for him (he laughs it off)

his face is almost always red (and you can tell when he's super happy because the tips of his ears start burning)

does not know what a crush is, and at first can hardly comprehend the idea of a relationship until zenitsu and tanjiro explain it to him

would probably go to shinobu bc "he's sick"

literally him explaining that he's itchy all the time, shaky like he's going to collapse, and sweaty. "probably a fever" in his words.

"you're in love" doesn't explain much to him either when she points out the source of his "sickness" is you.

he still doesn't understand what he feels completely, but does see it through new eyes

like accepting the fact he wants to be around you more than anything

and make you happy (seeing you laugh because of him, just makes his heart flutter)

in a relationship, you'd be taking most of the first steps

like holding his hand or even hugging him

it's a slow process of him adjusting to the relationship

but it's 100% worth every bit

He smiled kindly, sneaking a peek at you through his dark, thick lashes. A field of unkempt sakura blooms blossomed along his round cheeks, tingeing them a faint pink. BA-THUMP! BA-THUMP! BA-THUMP! His heart cried out. Your words left him uneasy, embarrassed even, as they lightly tickled his chest. Despite his wishes, he could not speak for he was grinning far too wide to do so.

Training that evening proved to be quite the challenge for the young slayer as vivid pictures of you had obscured his mind, slowly but surely eating away at his concentration. Your words rang through his head like a silver bell, loud and persisting, furthering his desire to see you —touch you— He's getting red just thinking about it!

“T…Thank you for loving me. I really don't deserve you sometimes.” He whispered, leaning into your shoulder. “I love you too.” Tanjiro pressed a light kiss to your cheek, using his free hand to gently grip your unoccupied shoulder. A cheery laugh had escaped you at his chastity, nearly sending his heart into another frenzy. And to no one's surprise, you were enjoying every bit of it.

⠀⠀ZENITSU AGATSUMA

Oh my, you've made the poor thing faint. Stumbling over his words much like any other sweet adolescent. His fair skin held a warmth much like the sun, if not putting it to shame. Even with his lack of consciousness, that same lovesick grin had never fled his lips. Oh, and be a dear and close his mouth. We wouldn't want him to swallow any pesky flies, would we?

Upon his return from the land of dreams, Zenitsu was distraught. His body rested against the plush cushions of your futon with you seated by his side. He watches you gently rest a damp cloth on his burning skin, humming a feeble tune to occupy the silence. Zenitsu cleared his throat in hopes of "cooly" responding to your confession, but as you'd expect, he fails miserably.

“I-I love you too!!” He shouted, clasping your hands to his chest. “Wait, no — I love you more than anything!” You gently push him back towards the futon, tucking him beneath the sheets once more before lightly caressing his rosy cheeks. To him, words simply cannot convey his feelings for you. They are far too complex to describe. He's happy and he sure as hell wants you to know that.

⠀⠀INOSUKE HASHIBIRA

“Eh? The hell is that!?” Of course, he's confused, why wouldn't he be? Don't take it to heart, you expected this after all. (growing up in the wild does that to you.) Nonetheless, you can't help but feel a little bit annoyed by his statement. Just how clueless could he possibly be and why did you care about him so much? Two questions that you decided to indulge in another time.

Once you walked away, Insouke was quick to find Tanjiro and ask what this "love" thing was, seeing as you were so reluctant to tell him. At first, he finds it rather silly. Why do people use those words as a term of endearment anyways? He can just show you how much he cares! But with further convincing from Tanjiro, Inosuke shoves his inquiries to the side...for now.

“I ‘luove’ you, or whatever you said, too.” You gave him the most deadpan expression, using that moment to take in the immediate panic dancing across his gentle features. A snort slipped past your lips as you snaked your arms around his perfectly thin waist. At that point, you didn't know what you hated more, his obliviousness or his pretty face.

⠀⠀GENYA SHINAZUGAWA

“What...what'd you say?” He grimaced at the harshness of his tone as it was not his intention. He turned away from you, brushing his nose with the pad of his thumb in sheer hope of masking his embarrassment. But it didn't. You were able to spot the deep red creeping up the back of his neck to the tips of his ears. Scooting a bit closer to him, you rest your head on his back, rendering him stiff. But at that moment, you just didn't care.

Being as ill-mannered as he is, Genya hadn't expected anyone who didn't share the same blood to genuinely care for him. The boy has natural bitch repellent unbeaten in his DNA so surely even you are aware of the reasoning behind his insecurities. But, I suppose that makes him charming in a very questionable sense.

“You aren't too bad yourself...” which roughly translates to “I love you too so please don't take this the wrong way.” Genya needs as much love as he can get, though he refuses to admit it. As his partner you should go with your gut when dealing with him — if you think he needs comfort, a hug, then just do it — because at times, you seek to understand his emotions better than himself.

And one day, Sumiko just started sharing her meals with you, asking if she could help you braid your hair, clean your room, and more. She's acting more strangely towards you, but you kind of like that attention.

Your heart started beating every time she smiled, and that even led to some sleepless nights as you tried to figure out what kind of feeling you have for her.

All you know is that this is a kind of attraction. You're definitely attracted to Sumiko.

One day, you just told yourself that it was enough, and you want to tell her your feelings so that perhaps both of you can figure it out. The confusion was just a bit too much, and you felt helpless.

So then, you suddenly barged into her room, ready to tell her everything.

But as you closed the door behind you, your world suddenly stopped...

"Su—Sumi-chan?" The sight in front of you left you speechless.

Sumi-chan turned towards you, red as a tomato, as she—no, he—covered himself with his checkered kimono.

"Y—you're a man?!" You stuttered, falling down on your buttocks on the floor as your eyes widened more. You felt a heat crawl up your cheeks when Sumiko went beside you and covered your mouth with his calloused hands.

"Shhh! Please don't scream Y/N-chan."

You nodded, and he let go of you. With that, you took the opportunity to take in his real appearance. Manly hair, broad shoulders, exposed abs... You stopped yourself from looking further down. What you see is already enough to prove that Sumiko isn't a woman.

"Y—you're a man?" You asked once again in a whisper, and that made him close his eyes and bow down. "I'm so sorry! I should've told you, but I'm on a mission, and this disguise is a part of that."

"Then who are you? What are you?"

"I'm Tanjiro Kamado. And I'm so sorry if I lied to all of you."

You felt the genuineness in his tone, and that made you calm down. You bit your lip and reached for his kimono, fixing it to cover his manly torso. "I understand. I won't ask more, Kamado-san, and I promise that your secret's safe with me."

"Thank you!"

He suddenly embraced you, and that made your heart skip once again. The confusion in you seemed to subside as you finally knew that you had been attracted to a man all along. You hugged him back, burying your face in the crook of his shoulder. It's comfortable.

Both of you pulled away from the embrace and looked into each other's eyes. You're definitely red as a tomato, and so is Tanjiro. He suddenly cupped your cheek and planted a kiss on your forehead.

"I promise, I'll keep you safe too, Y/N."

🌸𝒁𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒔𝒖 𝑨𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒂🌸

The one who's knocking at your door for the nth time is none other than Zenko. The newcomer is definitely clingy; there's no doubt about that. It doesn't bother you, though; perhaps Zenko's just too friendly.

And besides, you like the feeling that she's been giving you lately. You're sure that Zenko is also aware of that, as both of you started hanging out in your free time. We just curled up with each other on your futon, with her hands running through your hair.

Of course, no one would admit that this is over the friendliness barrier, especially when you find yourself kissing her cheek for doing great in her shamisen classes. That made her blush too hard.

You cannot comprehend why other girls consider her ugly, as you find her quite attractive. Sometimes, you just find yourself imagining that Zenko's a man in disguise, which is why she acts all lovey-dovey with you.

Actually, you're wishing for that thought to come true.

And yes, you opened the door for her today and immediately met her almost golden eyes. Blushing, you invited her to sit, and she quickly complied.

"Why are you here again, Zenko?" You asked, acting as if you were serious. But Zenko doesn't buy that; she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Are you on your period?"

She asked, and that made you redder than before. "Baka!" You threw the pillow on her face, which made her laugh. "I'm not on my period, and why do you care?" You continued, pouting at the poor girl as she sat and fixed her now messy hair.

"Eeeh, just curious Y/N-chaaaan~"

"Fine. Maybe it's you who's on her period!"

You joked, and that made Zenko laugh harder.

"How I wish! I can't because I'm a man."

She said that also shocked her. She's a he? Zenko's not a woman?

Zenko felt the sudden tension between the two of you as you remained paused in your surprised facial expression, so he suddenly took the chance to lean in and give you a little peck on your lips.

The world seemed to slow down, but then you still found yourself covering your mouth in shock at her actions. "Zenko, what the fuck?" You said this as you looked away.

He gulped and looked down, feeling guilty. That tugged at your heartstrings. You're surprised, but you're not mad at him. Perhaps there is a big reason why he hid his identity.

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have done that. I also shouldn't have told you that."

"Why?" You asked, looking at her with concerned eyes.

"I'm Zenitsu Agatsuma. As a demon slayer, I'm on a mission, and my cover can't be blown up. I'm so sorry."

So you're right; there is a big reason. You watched as he continued to explain, telling you that he didn't want to take advantage of you. He also made it clear that he really likes you, which made you blush harder than before. Zenitsu seems to be unashamed of blurting out his feelings.

To finally make his endless blabbing stop, you just kissed him once again, longer and more passionately this time.

By the time you both pulled out of the kiss, you were both breathless. You felt your heart beating faster and faster, and all you wanted to do was embrace this man. "Zenko—I mean, Zenitsu... I like you too, and your secret's safe with me."

And with that, Zenitsu pulled you into an embrace, mumbling I love you's and telling you that if he goes out of this mission alive, he'll marry you. It's the normal Zenko you knew, but now your wish has been fulfilled.

And you found yourself pinned under Inoko, one of the most stunning oirans you'd ever laid eyes on.

It was just simple admiration at first, but it quickly turned to confusion. All you wanted to do before was look at Inoko's angelic face and watch her careful motions. But then, it all changed when Inoko helped you up when you almost fell down the stairs, giving you a big smile before running away to wherever she was heading.

The world stopped as both of your eyes met, green orbs melting with Y/N's (eyecolor) ones.

You swear that you heard her chuckle, and that isn't a woman's voice... At first, it scared you. Is Inoko a demon? But then, as the smartest oiran in the House, you realised that perhaps, she's a man in disguise.

All the nights and days after that, you were wondering so hard that you didn't realise you'd been more than curious about Inoko's real identity. You wanted to know her or him more. If she or he's really a man, then perhaps you'll have a chance?

You blushed at the thought and tried to get rid of it, but whenever Inoko passed by, you always found yourself looking at her too much with a blush on your cheek.

You can't believe that this beautiful woman might be a girl, but that is how it is if that happens.

And so one day, you had just finished taking a bath when you met her inside your room. Inoko seems to be stressed and looking for something, and that bothered you.

"Why are you here?"

You know that she won't answer. Aside from her seemingly manly chuckle, you have never heard her voice. Inoko flinched at your sudden appearance, and as if by instinct, she pinned you on the floor.

You looked at her with wide eyes as you felt your towel slide down from your body.

"Oh fuck."

That's the first time that you heard Inoko's voice, and yes, it's definitely not from a woman!

You bit your lip, anxious as his eyes stared at you. He seemed to blink in confusion at first, then turn red, and you realised why—you're open and bare under him!

He immediately let you go, and you covered your body quickly, asking him what a man like him was doing inside this place. Disguised as an oiran!

He rolled his eyes and grunted. "Fuck, you should be quiet (wrong pronunciation) Y/N! Don't tell a soul or else—"

"Or else what? Who are you?" You asked, feeling your heartbeat go fast as Inoko crawled towards you like an animal.

"Or else I'll make you forget! I'm Inosuke Hashibira and I need to finish finding the demon before Monjiro finds it first!"

"Wha—what demon?!"

"Fuck shhh!" You bit your lip once again as Inoko started to panic. So, he's a man, and he's on a mission that involves finding a demon? It's all too much.

You felt a cold shiver with the information and started panicking too. But then, it seems like Inoko noticed you were scared, and so he went towards you and spoke in a low and calmer tone of voice. "I think I need to do the thing that I saw last night with you."

"Wha—" You wanted to complain. You even wanted to know what he meant when he said it last night.

But before you could do any of those things, Inosuke planted his lips on yours, making your heart stop for a moment.

And as if by muscle memory, you kissed back, making him groan against your lips. After a few more breathless seconds, you both pulled out, red and panting.

"What just happened?"

You asked him, and that made him smile with triumph. "I knew that would work!" He said, making you redder. "What works?" You asked, curious about what he was referring to, as you pulled up the towel to cover you better.

"You forgot about what I said! Last night, I saw a man and a woman do that thing by the hallway, and the woman said that what they did made her forget that they were in public. So, I suppose if I do that with you, you'll forget what I said too!"

You blushed at how innocent Inosuke is. From the time he saved you from tumbling down the stairs, he never knew that he would make you really fall for him. You smiled and decided to just go along with what he was saying.

Perhaps there's really a demon roaming around, and maybe Inosuke will protect you from it, so you'll just help him by keeping his secret.

"Oh yes! Um, Inoko, what are you doing here?"

With a smile on his face, he went out of your room. You took a deep breath and watched as Inosuke walked away. Aside from keeping his secret, you'll also need to keep him from kissing another person to make them forget.

C'ÉTAIT UN SOIR d'hiver, j'étais dans les rues. Je me dépêchais de rentrer chez moi et m'efforçai de paraître naturelle en marchant vite. Je croyais en l'existence des démons et je savais qu'ils n'attaquaient que la nuit. J'étais une cible facile, une jeune fille seule, sans défense. Je priais pour que ma bonne étoile soit de mon côté et que je ne meurs pas ce soir, dévorée par un monstre.

Je n'étais qu'à quelques mètres de la maison, lorsque j'entendis des pas derrière moi. J'essayai de me convaincre que tout cela n'était que dans ma tête, que ce n'était sûrement que le vent qui faisait frapper les branches des arbres entre elles. Cependant, j'entendis un rire, pas celui d'une personne à qui on aurait dit une blague, mais celui d'une personne mal intentionnée.

Mon imagination ne put s'empêcher de créer des scénarios plus effrayants les uns que les autres. Je n'osai pas me retourner de peur de croiser le regard dans cette personne, j'aurai pu y lire toutes les choses horribles qu'il avait prévu de me faire.

Je me décidai à courir le plus rapidement possible, jusqu'à ce que mes jambes n'en puissent plus et même après, j'aurai continué. J'en perdis mes chaussures et malgré cela, je continuai. Je préférai mourir d'épuisement plutôt que mourir dévoré par cette chose qui me suivait. Cependant, le sort en avait décidé autrement puisque le démon me rattrapa.

Je sentis sa main froide prendre ma jambe. Il tira dessus ce qui me fit chuter. Je ne cessais de reculer malgré que je sois au sol. À aucun moment je n'avais daigné le regarder. J'avais peur, très peur. Finalement, je me retrouvai contre un mur. Je ne pouvais plus fuir, c'était la fin. Je fermai les yeux et je sentis ses ongles s'enfoncer dans ma peau. Ils étaient longs et sûrement plein de sang désormais.

❝━ Regarde moi. Cracha mon agresseur avec sa voix grave.❞

Je ne voulais pas lui offrir cette joie. La joie de voir la peur qui se trouvait dans mes yeux. Je tentais de me débattre mais il était beaucoup plus fort que moi, évidemment, c'était un démon. J'avais envie de crier pour que tout le monde puisse m'entendre voir même me venir en aide mais rien ne sortait. Je n'avais plus de voix, la peur avait pris le contrôle de mon corps. Mes larmes ne cessaient de couler et mes membres de trembler.

Le temps semblait long et le silence renforçait cette sensation. Cependant, il fut brisé par un cri d'oiseau et celui du démon. Je fus obligé d'ouvrir les yeux pour voir ce qu'il se passait. Mon agresseur était grand, il avait un teint particulièrement pâle, les veines sur son front étaient saillantes et il n'avait plus d'yeux. Du sang coulait de ses orbites et un moineau tournait autour de nous.

❝━ Cours. Ordonna une voix très aiguë.❞

Je ne cherchai pas à comprendre et me levai rapidement. Mes jambes tremblaient fortement et j'avais l'impression qu'elles allaient lâcher à tout moment mais c'était ma dernière chance pour pouvoir continuer de vivre. J'espérai plus que tout que le démon ne me suivait pas.

Arrivée à un tournant, quelqu'un me fonça dessus ce qui me fit tomber par terre pour la deuxième fois. Je levai les yeux, ma vue était trouble à cause de mes larmes mais j'arrivai à distinguer cette personne. C'était un jeune garçon, qui devait avoir mon âge, ses cheveux étaient court et orange et il portait uniforme noir avec un haori orange à triangles blancs et un sabre. Nos regards se croisèrent et je vis dans ses yeux de la peur. Je me levai rapidement et lui pris la main pour qu'on fuit, il fallait qu'on survive.

On courut quelques secondes mais le démon arriva en face de nous. Le garçon sanglotait et ne cessait de crier qu'il ne voulait pas mourir. C'était logique, qui voulait mourir ? Il me faisait mal aux oreilles. J'en oubliais presque que nous étions en face d'un démon qui avait pour seul but de nous tuer et de se nourrir de notre chair. Il s'approcha de nous lentement, ce qui ne fit qu'augmenter la pression et ma terreur. Le roux se cacha derrière moi, c'était désespérant. Il était armé et c'était lui qui avait le plus peur entre nous deux.

❝━ Sers-toi de ton arme... Le suppliai-je, la voix tremblante.❞

Ses yeux s'écarquillèrent, comme s'il venait de se souvenir qu'il était armé. Il secoua la tête de gauche à droite.

❝━ Je n'y arriverai pas, je vais mourir !❞

Je pris ses mains dans les miennes.

❝━ Je t'en supplie...❞

Ses joues prirent une teinte rosée et il tomba soudainement sur le sol. Il semblait endormi. C'était la fin pour nous. En le voyant ainsi, je compris qu'il n'allait pas m'aider et que nous allions mourir pour de bon. Cependant, le jeune garçon se réveilla et se leva subitement à ma grande surprise. En un clin d'œil, il coupa la tête du démon ce qui le tua. Il tomba à nouveau sur le sol et se réveilla quelques secondes plus tard. Il regarda autour de lui et vit la dépouille du démon en train de se désintégrer.

❝━ T-tu l'as tué... Merci ! Cria-t-il.❞

Je fronçai les sourcils. J'étais dans l'incompréhension totale, ce garçon était vraiment bizarre mais il m'avait sauvé, c'était tout ce qui comptait. Je plantai mes yeux dans les siens et lui souris sincèrement en signe de remerciement.

❝━ Merci à toi. Souris-je, les larmes aux yeux.❞

Ses yeux me détaillèrent longuement.

❝━ Épouse moi. Ajouta-t-il.❞

pairings: tanjiro x reader, inosuke x reader, zenitsu x reader

a/n: there will be a part two... but switched! you saving them!

warnings: POSSIBLE SPOILERS! also mentions of death in inosuke's (reader has to do what tanjiro did to wake up on the mugen train)

part two!

tanjiro kamado

you try to brace yourself as you're thrown against a tree. it hurts, but you have to keep going. you think of the bright smile that always inspires you when you need it. the smile of your best friend. you take in a deep breath in, trying to control your total concentration, as you reflect on where you are at, and how you would rather be back at the butterfly mansion with your friends, who haven't finished healing yet.

you lift yourself up just in time to deflect the blood demon art of the spider sister, who almost captured you in her web ball. you fling yourself to the side, and when you jump up, prepared for the next attack, she's gone.

strange. you look around you at all of your surroundings, hoping that she won't pop out from behind the trees. your power, besides your breathing, is in your strength, so unfortunately, you lack any power of being able to sense where your opponent is by smell, audio, or some weird beasty sense thing that inosuke possesses.

you still and close your eyes, trying to focus on listening, when you hear something above you. something isn't right about this.

you are able to jump to the side just as the monster leaps where you were. this thing is massive, with a godawful spider face. not only is it creepy, but it scares you enough that you hide behind a tree, trying to think of a plan. that's when you remember tanjiro again.

last week, the two of you were eating breakfast at the butterfly mansion. you were sitting next to each other, chatting and occasionally laughing at inosuke devouring his onigiri. you turn to focus back on your conversation about tanjrio's "hinokami kagura", and how impressive it is.

"you truly are amazing, tanjiro! not even the hashira can perform two breathing techniques!" you gush, trying to imagine yourself doing the same. "you must feel so powerful!"

tanjiro scratches at his neck, trying to push down the raging blush that had formed on his face. "it's really not that impressive! I'm sure you could do the same if you really tried."

"oh, don't be ridiculous. i'm not near close enough to your level. and don't be modest either! just don't forget about me when you become a hashira," you say, with a little joke at the end.

tanjiro grabs your hands and stares at you a little too intensely. you feel a little startled. "don't say that about yourself! you are an incredible swordsman and i constantly want to be like you."

you blink, unsure what to make of the fervent compliments. you open your mouth, but before you can respond, he continues.

"you inspire me with your strength. you never give up and that is what's truly amazing!" you swear you can see little puffs of steam coming out of his ears.

"uh..."

"so don't underestimate yourself!"

you blink for a moment, trying to find your composure. and you don't know what else to do but laugh.

"well, alright then!" you give him a huge smile and hug him tight. "thank you, tanjiro," you whisper into his ear. he just hugged you tighter to his body. what you missed seeing was the very pointed look given to him by zenitsu.

you brace yourself and make a move from behind the tree, rushing at the creature who was looking for you in the opposite direction. activating your first breathing form, you aim at the giant's arm, hoping to buy some time while he is regenerating. but your sword doesn't cut through. instead, he flings you a couple meters back. you land harshly on the ground, and you wince when you feel your ribs crack. you take a deep breath in, desperately hoping for an idea to get you out of this mess.

the monster roars, destroying trees in his path as he searches for you. "LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE."

some hell of a family, you think, as you roll out of the way to escape a tree from crushing you. you rush at the monster again, this time aiming for his neck with your sixth breathing form, but to no avail. your sword still doesn't go through.

you can see the monster's hand coming towards you. you're going to die. there's no way you can move out of the way without breaking your sword, and you won't be able to survive without it. think! you desperately rack your brain for ideas, but it's too late.

you close your eyes as the hand comes to you, but you never feel the impact. you quickly open your eyes to see a checkered haori blocking the monster's head.

"tanjiro!"

"y/n! i was so worried when we arrived and saw all of the bodies!" the hand shakes the two of you off, and tanjiro holds you close as you both fall to the ground. he's quick to jump to his feet, but you're still a little sore from your earlier exchanges with the tree. he gives you a charming smile as he helps you off the ground. "i'm so glad you are alright."

you jump up to give him a tight hug, trying to fight off the nerves of your near-death experience.

"gonpachiro! are you going to help me out or keep flirting?" you cough as he glances over at inosuke trying to saw his way through the monster's arm.

before you can react, he presses a quick kiss to your forehead before running to help. "stay alive, ok!" he yells, "i have to confess something after the battle!"

you allow yourself one bashful smile before lunging into the fight, helping your future bf and one weird boar.

inosuke hashibira

you gasp for air as you're being held down by the neck by the train's appendage. you try to break free, but your sword is just out of reach and the tentacle thing is just too slimy to really grab hold of it. with one hand, you try to free your neck, and with the other hand, you strain for your sword. the appendage lifts you a bit and slams you back down, making something in your arm snap. you try to scream, but nothing comes out. your vision starts getting a little blurry, and black starts creeping around the edges.

what should you do? before you can do anything, a big eye pops out and blinks at you.

when you open your eyes, you have to adjust, because it suddenly got very bright. you sit up off the ground, looking around for the train, but you don't see anything. you do recognize this dirt path you are on though.

you lift yourself up and start along the path until you come across... the butterfly mansion? something wasn't right. you were supposed to be helping tanjiro and inosuke with the train demon.

just then you heard a cackle coming from inside the building. how is inosuke here? you also heard a scream coming from the inside. you sprint to the sound, and throw the doors open to see your little sibling cowering behind your parents, who were in a protective stance and looking up at the ceiling. on the ceiling was inosuke, crawling around like a weirdo.

"mom? dad?" how were they here? their deaths were the reason you became a demon slayer in the first place. tears start pouring down your cheeks as you run towards your beloved family. you stay there, hugging them for what seems like hours. your parents were very confused, but accepted the affection nontheless. your sibling was giggling at how stupid you looked, but you could care less, because at least they were alive.

maybe this whole slayer thing was just a bad dream. BAM. you jerk your head to see inosuke had come down from the ceiling. how did you forget? so the slayer thing was not just a dream. so what the hell is happening?

inosuke walks up to you and grabs your hand. "come on, y/n! let's go train." he walks you outside and into the woods.

"inosuke, i think something is wrong. we were fighting a demon and then we ended up back here. do you know anything?" he steps back and lifts his mask up, letting it fall to the ground.

"what the hell are you talking about?" he starts towards you, backing you into a tree. you put your hands to his chest, looking into his eyes.

"this is not the time to fight right now! i'm being serious-" you are silenced when he puts his finger to your lips, cocks his head and looks at you.

"the fuck are you yappin' about? you know the training thing is just a ruse." he puts his hands on your side and squeezes, making you gasp. he lays his head into the crook of your neck and gives you a small little bite, in which you grab onto his shoulders in shock. "we do this all the time."

Y/N!

you push inosuke back and look around. you grab onto his shoulder and gently shake it.

"didn't you hear that?" he just snorts. "hear what?"

Y/N!

"there it is again! someone is calling my name!" inosuke shakes his head and pushes against you once more, arms circling your waist. he starts to leave kisses up your neck, which causes you to let out a little whine. this was a little dream of yours that you kept a secret so no one would find out about your little crush.

pause.

A DREAM! of course!

"i've got to get out of here." inosuke lifts his head up.

"what?"

"you don't understand. this is a dream! the real you needs me right now." you run around the woods, searching for the demon that put you to sleep. if you kill it, you might be able to get out. how else would you wake up?

you slow to a stop, realizing the demon isn't in the dream with you. dream inosuke pokes your back. "what are you doing?"

you turn to him, unsure of what you're about to do. you reach to his waist and grab one of his swords.

"i'm sorry." you whisper, terrified. you bring the sword up to your neck. what if you're wrong? what if there are repercussions from the dream in reality. what if you actually died?

you push your hand up again the blade, ready, when a hand grabs your wrist. you look up into his beautiful face, which looked miserable.

"don't you want to be with me?" you almost drop the sword from your neck. you raise your hand to dream inosuke's face.

"it's all i've ever wanted, since we met. that's why i have to do this. to be with the real you." you pull your wrist free and scream, and with a twist of the blade, everything goes dark.

you wake up and take a deep breath. you can feel the wind from the roof of the train, and you realize it worked. you look over to see the appendage that was holding you wither into dust on the ground.

"you done taking your little nap? we got a demon to kill!" you smile at the taunting voice coming from behind you. you turn and jump into his arms.

"h-hey!" you lift his mask to give him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"thank you for waking me up," you say, before running off to where tanjiro was calling your name. inosuke follows behind you, very glad the mask is covering the redness of his face.

zenitsu agatsuma

there is no way you are making it out of this one alive, unless you hear the drum again. there are two demons making their way to you in this moving house. you aren't skilled enough to taken on two demons by yourself. so you are holding out that the drum will beat again soon, so that the rooms will shift. the first demon crawls closer and lashes it's tongue at you. you swipe at it, and the tip falls off, spraying blood over your uniform. while the first demon sprawls backwards in pain, the second lunges at you, and just as you swing your sword at it's neck, the drum shifts the rooms around.

you fall through the air in this new room, but land on something solid. you look down to see zenitsu under you.

"oh my goodness!" you hug him tight, thankful to see his face instead of another demon. while you're too busy with your relief, he's focused on your legs on either side of his waist. pervert.

his euphoria ends quickly, however, when you hoist yourself up and introduce yourself to the kid he is with. shoichi, the little boy, is so relieved that another slayer joined them, so he didn't have to put up with zenitsu's tantrums by himself.

while he is introducing himself, zenitsu sits up and screams. you turn, shielding the boy behind you, when you spot the tongue demon making it's way toward the three of you.

you all run to the nearest room and while you hope for another drum, you know you won't be so lucky this time, so you focus your attention on the door, hoping to be able to ambush the demon when he enters the room.

"no, no, no, no, no. please wake up." you turn to see zenitsu passed out on the floor.

"shoichi, i need you to get him to the wall if you can." then you turn your attention to the approaching demon, whose tongue had already regenerated. the tongue lashes out at you once more, but faster this time. you knew you wouldn't have time to cut it off, so you settle for deflecting it.

but the force of his tongue was too strong, and you were thrown backwards, hitting the wall and roughly falling to the ground. you crawl back over to zenitsu and shoichi, praying the drum sounds again.

you go to stand up to face the demon again when a soft hand pushes you back. you look up to see zenitsu and are surprised. wasn't he just passed out?

you see him get into position and hear a faint, "thunder breathing, first form". you blink and the demon is dead.

zenitsu sways for a second before falling back to the ground. you rush over to make sure he's ok to discover he's... STILL ASLEEP?

he jerks awake and squeals when he see's the demon's body disintegrating. he latches onto your torso and shamelessly hides his face into your skin.

"y/n-chaaaaan, you saved me! thank you thank you thank you!"

you look over at shoichi who just shrugs. with a small laugh, you lean over and press a kiss to zenitsu's head.

"let's try to get out of here, yeah?"

"AHHH y/n-chaaaaaan! let's get married!"

a/n: SORRRRRY i am so tired and so i rushed zenitsu's, but i hope it's still good! i'll try to finish the part two tomorrow (with a special surprise drabble!)

Bro is literally flustered as hell when he sees you from afar… so imagine if you were holding his hand or displaying affection in public 😳😱

The first time you grabbed his hand in your he jumped 452187762 meters away, his face was red as a bottle of ketchup ( yeah so American )

It takes him a lot of time not to have a nose bleed anymore when you’re holding hands. He manages to look casual after 6 months or so

His face is still red-ish or pink but he always has a big smile plastered on his face. His hand are moist though ( I mean mine too it’s the anxiety )

He loves it though. The feeling of having your smaller hand in his bigger one feels like he can protect you. And everyone knows that it’s important to him

For the pda I think that at first he is cautious about it

He wants to look strong in front of everyone, especially his older brother and he doesn’t want people to see him this weak for you

So he tries to avoid anything of the sort at first

He pulls you in quickly for a kiss when no one is looking or he hold your hand under the table

But then I think he softens, or maybe he has enough to hide his love. He emerges from the personality he borrowed from his brother and asserts himself ( I don’t know anything about what happens after what was shown in the anime so no spoilers please )

Of course kissing you publicly is emotionally tiring when he feels the gaze of his brother on his back or someone else teasing him… or whining about how cute his partner looks cough cough Zenitsu

But at the end, like everything else he manages like a pro

When you’re about to sit he pulls you on his lap instead

“Come here. I’m far more comfortable than the ground”

His arm is often draped around your shoulders and in the evening around your waist

Quick neck kisses because your neck is so soft and appetizing and he wants to bite you

You discover that he is kinda possessive and that even if at first he was flustered about the thought of pda. Now it seems that he likes to make sure that people know that you’re his and he is yours

Though kiss him out of the blue and he is going to react as if it was the first time

This dude is made of love - like in the Powerpuff Girl but for him Professor X just used Lov

He always makes sure you’re comfortable when he is touching you.

But when he is sure you are well he doesn’t hold back

His fingers are always intertwined with yours as he holds your hand. They are a bit rough but he hopes you don’t mind

For him it’s a reminder of your connection to everyone, not that he cares but he loves you so much he wants other to know as well

His thumb always rubs circles on the back of your hand. He does this to soothe you when he senses that you’re feeling tense. But most of times it’s mindlessly

Concerning pda, well he doesn’t care if people stare or stuff - he wouldn’t notice it anyways. His focus is always on you

“Your skin is softer than the usual Pumpkin. Did you change something in your routine ?”

But man is a classic and he isn’t going to have you sitting on his lap

in the middle of the day. Or his tongue doing the washing machine in your mouth

But he gives you a lot of sweet pecks. And sometimes it’s several pecks in a row. His eyes always end up sparkling

Neck kisses… I think he is too pure for that. Or maybe he keeps his cards close to his chest

But everyday you have your amount of forehead kisses, cheek kisses and shoulder kisses ?!? Zenitsu always whine that if he had such a partner he wouldn’t be kissing the shoulder first

Though when comes the evening and the night his kisses and touches becomes more daring than in the middle of the afternoon

Yeah you heard me right. There are some evenings when you find yourself straddling his lap and kissing him. You wonder where your classic boyfriend disappeared

Zenitsu Agatsuma :

Ahah he LIVES for physical contacts with you. Give him hand holding HE TAKES. Give him pda OH YEAH HE TAKES

He is stuck to you. You can’t pull him away. No one can

What ? An hashira wants to speak in private with you for an upcoming mission ? He is going to stay

It seems that he can’t live without you

And if you manage to pull him off, he is going to whine whine whine. So you don’t. But he is so cute so must of time you don’t mind

You’re his pacifier lmao. In every ways you could think about

His hands are hyperactive. One moment he is holding you then, then a sec after he is rubbing his thumb over it, then he is intertwining your fingers, then he is rubbing your shoulder, then it somehow lands on your thigh while he leans into you…

Then he plays with your hair… a lot… maybe too much. Then he asks you to play with his, then as you start he cries saying you haven’t thought about it by yourself because you don’t love him as much… J E E Z

“Y/n-chaaaan can you pet my hair like this ?” he’d do it on you first to show you the exact motion

He lives for pda. He isn’t jealous but he is very needy. And he needs people to see that you’re taking care of him. So most of the time you’re the one having to display more affection. Not that you mind here too

Sometimes his hands wander to much and your have to hit - gently - the back of his head or pinch his cheek

If he gets too excited you surprise him with something. Maybe a long and slow kiss or a French kiss 😉 or by pulling him on your lap. He gets so flustered that his shut his mouth and stop moving in case he does or says something that would make you stop

When the night comes Tanjiro and Inosuke, or a friend hashira literally have to knock him out to make him lose his grip on you

(( I must add that he knows you don’t mind because if so.. well no that’s Zenitsu anyways.. ))

Inosuke Hashibira :

First he doesn’t hold your hand

Well he did it once and it was just to show you how smaller your hand was compared to him meaning that you were weaker and that he needed to protect you. And that was basically it

He likes to hold your arm. When you’re sitting down. When you’re walking as well. It just feels stronger than holding hands

And it’s also a way to warn others that you’re his and not to take anymore

Talking about this he doesn’t know what pda is. But he knows that you belong to him and this is all that matters to him

Though it’s not always easy when he is running after people to fight them. Or when he wears his boar mask. How to say that… it stinks

But even on the rare times he doesn’t wear it, showing affection isn’t inborn for him

Like once you tried to kiss him and he stepped back thinking you were trying to eat him… ?!?

You explained that you just wanted to give him a kiss. but when he looked at you dumbfounded you showed him by kissing the back of your hand. Then you asked him if he wanted to try and kiss your cheek

He did. It was sloppy. But something clicked inside of him and he understood somehow the meaning behind it

“Is that another way of marking you as mine ?”

And since you said yes he never dropped the habit. He kissed you the first time he sees you in a day, before leaving for a task, when he return, when the night comes… and when Zenitsu gets a tad bit too close for his liking

He stays his hot headed self most of the time but when he is with you he gets a little softer. And when he gets sleepy he is drags you to cuddle with him while he takes a nap

Sways form side to side while admiring you with flushed cheeks, wants to touch your hair and will constantly ask you touch it and even if you say no, he won’t give up and will keep asking

Thinks how similar but different the way your and his hair color changed and thinks it’s so cool how it was from drinking so much tea and will tell you how his changed, hoping while doing so, you can trust him more

“Such pretty hair, s/o! You look so pretty and the blue really brings out your eyes!” He says in a chewy voice with pink cheeks.

Will defend you even if the person who does is some big, mean, scary person.

Genya Shinazugawa

Your unique hair color caught his eye but wouldn’t talk to you because of his shyness, but when he does talk to you he can’t stop staring at your hair with red cheeks and gets even redder when you catch him staring

If you let him touch your hair, he’ll be apprehensive but would only very lightly touch it before stopping, he’s so red that you think he might combust and pass out right there

Looks at you in awe but in confusion when you tell him it became blue from drinking too much tea. He can’t help but wonders if he eats too many of one food then his hair would change color. And somewhat wants to try it out

“What, really? Does that mean eating too many oranges can change make my hair orange?”

Defends you with no hesitation, his hair style is a bit of an odd one so he gets it and will be there to comfort you if you want

Mitsuri Kanroji

Feels so happy and giddy knowing that she isn’t the only one with a unique hair color. She likes to joke that there would no be trouble finding each other because of the bright hair colors

Mitsuri thinks that your hair color is absolutely beautiful and will ask if she can braid it in exchange if you playing with hers. Mitsuri looks at your blue hair in awe and tells you what a beautiful shade of blue it is

Becomes very curious on how yours changed colors and will laugh when it turns out that it was just become you both loved eating/drinking something a little too much

“Hmm! I might have to try that tea if you loved drinking it so much that it changed your hair color!” You both laugh.

She’s been ridiculed for her hair color and would never want you to be made fun of the way she was

A/N: Glad to see my fellow aces liking these types of imagines.

Have you considered going hiking with Tanjiro. It wouldn't be just one day, it would be a whole week where it's just the two of you alone, cuddled up by the fire, holding hands the whole time, maybe even snowball fighting if there's snow around and then having to warm up all over again.

Have you considered letting Zenitsu try all his best flirty lines on you, watching his face go from pink to red to almost pained because he can't get the words out. When he does manage to flirt he's on the edge of his seat, waiting for your reaction. If you tell him you like what he said he won't hesitate to ask you to marry him. Again.

Have you considered giving a massage to Inosuke after he comes back from training. He released his pent up feelings so there's no reason to make him pent up again. You want to help him relax instead, telling him to get down on his stomach so you can work out the knots in his back and shoulders. And also kiss him, that too.

Have you considered going to the hot springs with Tengen for a night and letting go of all your worries. He still kisses you lots but he doesn't start anything more then that, he's happy to have you in his lap, with her arms around his neck, kissing him while he tells you how much he missed you.

he's stunned. same blank expression, the only difference is that his lips are parted slightly (in awe or confusion, you can't say)

that haori means a lot to him and he probably never takes it off or let anyone touch it

so seeing you in it is a shock.

he's got a piece sabito and his sister's haori's embracing him one more time with you right in the middle to hold him

its honestly the closest thing to home he could ever feel

it'd be a long hug, and he'd bury his face into your neck as hard as he could

he'd smile, and be happy and honestly- really happy with how you look in it

he stops for a moment in pure confusion before a large grin appears on his face (he laughs really loudly too)

you must admire him a ton to wear his things + you don't look too bad in it either (his clothing's maybe a bit too big but. . .)

he's looking you up and down shamelessly

and to top it off he's coming up with ideas to permanently change your wardrobe (mostly envisioning which metals and jewels would suit you best)

and probably (definitely) touching you as much as he can, as if he were dreaming this and testing to see if it were real

if it's a surprise. he's fainting with a bloodied nose

he's truly over the moon with joy, and in his opinion, you look wayy better in that thing then he does

now, his haori is his prized possession

would probably want to either show everyone how lucky and cute you are/absolutely forbid anyone else from seeing you wear it

you're just too precious now its making him cry

has to hold your hand or smother his teary (+ slightly bloody) face into your shoulder
