Do you know where I can find a summary of ZhouQiluo last chapter of the main story ?

Hello nony! I'm having a good day, thank you. Hope you are too!

As for the previous chapter of the main story, I don't know where you could get an English summary of the chapter, but at the same time maybe that's a good thing, haha!

Why I say this is because the last chapter update was a royal hot mess. As you might know, for the last update, Producers were given the freedom to make their own choices in the story which would lead you to having multiple branched endings. That being said... literally all endings except two lead to tragedy 😅

‼️ S2 MAINS STORY SPOILERS AHEAD ‼️

The conflict that the characters had to overcome in the last chapter was literally the end of the world. Loveland City was being threatened to be swallowed by a tsunami and countless other natural disasters. You and your love interest are met with many treacherous situations where you will have to make difficult choices, and depending on these choices the story branches out.

The irritating part about this was that the pacing was kind of rushed and all the options either lead to you and your love interest's doom, or just a continuation of the story. In Kiro's case there were situations where you were sent to prison and then died in the tsunami, or where Kiro rescues you from the tsunami but dies in your stead and other such endings. They all felt very rushed and half-baked especially considering how much these characters have fought fate and overcome all the trials they've been through so far 🥴

Only towards the end of the Chapter 54, were you given three definitive options to choose from that could either put an end to the story, or continue it.

One was this:

1. Sacrificing herself for the greater good

Here, MC makes the decision to sacrifice herself to rectify the world's order and turns into one of the cogs that allow the world to move forward, forever living a life of solitude and isolation, never to see Kiro again.

This decision saves the world, however, Kiro, unable to live in a world without her in it, decides to also sacrifice himself by turning himself into binary and integrating himself into the lighthouse or something like that.

Therefore, BAD ENDING 🫠

Second was:

2. Running away

Tired of all the things she's been through, MC finally gives up and decides to run away with Kiro to a place where she doesn't have to think about the world ending and having to save everyone. She just wants to live together with the boy she loves in their own little bubble, and Kiro accepts her request, no judgement or disappointment.

Here it is revealed that Kiro has been working on a countermeasure in response to the world collapsing and has created A WHOLE ASS VIRTUAL WORLD HIMSELF. Here, as the world is still being ravaged outside, he and MC spend their days together in this virtual world which overtime manages to grow and expand due to the number of people that are entering it in order to escape reality. The picture you see above is of them in that world.

Hence, a sort of good ending? 😅 (But considering how this is such a temporary countermeasure and they'll probably eventually die with how the world is being ravaged outside, I can't bring myself to accept this as a good ending either)

3. Moving Forward

And then the third ending has the MC going back to the Black Cabin, rather than resigning herself to her fate of either saving the world through her sacrifice or running away from responsibility. Here, she uses her privilege and ability to make choices for the world and instead of playing by the rules that have been given to her, SHE ASKS TO DEADASS CHANGE THE RULES INSTEAD ASDFGHJKL.

Ngl, that was such a power move on her part.

And that's where the chapter ends 🙂

Result = Continuation of the story

So now I wonder how much of the world is going to change based on that decision of her's...
