okay i’m ALMOST caught up with everything. all that’s left are the hbo shows that i’ve missed so i’m making my own hbo sunday night lineup tonight for the flight attendant, (new) barry, a black lady sketch show, and hacks!!
I'm debating adding showtime to either my hulu or paramount subscription, I'm just not sure which one is the better user experience. Which do you use/prefer
I really just want to watch yellojackets, ziwe and everything everywhere all at once
The stethoscope: Littmann Classic II Se in purple. I'm not sure if they make these anymore.
The book: Ziwe's Black Friend. I could not wait for this to come out and it was everything I thought it would be and more. From the stories of her chow chow, Celine Dion, who's maybe not quite a guard dog but sweet as a Diane Warren-penned love ballad, to the amusing AF but eyeroll-inducing anecdote about the private screening of If Beale Street Could Talk at which NAACP members were made to sit in the back, this collection of essays is undeniably Ziwe. I was so disappointed when Showtime canceled her show but thrilled to find out this was going to be published. Not only is it both hilarious and insightful, it's a great companion to Britney's memoir, The Woman in Me, which was my next read. Like me, Ziwe grew up absolutely enthralled by the Princess of Pop.
