WIP GAME!

Got tagged by @wishfulstargazer a couple days ago (thank you so much for tagging me 💕) but had forgotten it in my drafts and only remembered when I was taking a look through them today!

I knew I'd forgot to tell the story on tumblr...Thank you for reminding it to me xD But let reporter Aya ask directly the characters and have their opinion on the matter, shall we ? (° O °)/✨ Aya : Hey guys, I have a question for you ! Let's say it’s the apocalypse, what would be your role in the group and who do you think would die ? Toshio : Me, I'll die. Ikki : No you won't ! Yuta : Apocalypse...Interesting. Haru : What kind of apocalypse though ? Kenji : YES WHAT KIND ?! Please please please please ! Let it be a zomb- Aya : Not a zombie apocalypse. Kenji : Oh...I'm not really interested anymore then... Haru : A zombie apocalypse is so cliché. Yuta : I'd say pretty much all the kind of apocalypse are rather cliché, right ? Maybe we can come up with something original ? Aya : Or maybe we can focus and answer the question ?! Haru : We still don't know what kind of apocalypse. Haru is also really smart and could be a good leader too, right ? Haru : I don't know about being leader, but I at least am the more reasonable person here. Ryu : I bet you could go with cool strategies too, you'd be our tactician ! Haru : Fine by me, but I won't lead the troups. Ryu : Yuta would be the bait. Yuta : I'd rather not... Ryu : But think about it...Among all the remaining people, and probably among all the whole group, you're the most athletic one. Meaning you'd probs won't have any problem to run away, like, super fast and esaily avoid obstacles, right ? Aya : That's true ! Toshio has asthma, it would definitely get in the way of him surviving his role. Plus Ikki would probably die trying to save him. Ryu : Well, that's Ikki's flaw for carrying too much about people and constantly watching over them. Ikki : Is it really a flaw though ? Ryu : Guess we'll find out if you are in an actual death threatening situation involving saving people around ~ Aya : Ryu... Ikki :... Ryu : Also Haru can't be the bait either, too slow and only can run on really short distance. Haru : I-I'm working on it, I'll have you know ! Ryu : You already have the role of the strategist anyway. Haru : Hmph ! Aya : So we have me as the leader, Ryu as the second in hand, Yuta as the bait, Haru as the strategist, Ikki as the babysitter- Ikki : Hey ! Ryu : If there's a babysitter, who da babies ? *Everyone turns to Toshio who's searching for candies in his pockets and Kenji doing magical girl's poses to fight imaginary zombies* The others : *Never mind, the answer is so obvious* ------ ✨And there you have it !✨ The roles were the same in my dream, but it was more fun to tell it as an interaction between the main characters ~ And as for who would die : Survivors - Toshio : Because despite the fact he really wanted to die, people kept saving him and Ikki made him promise to survive no matter what. - Haru : Because smart ~ - Yuta : Because he is speed and have some solid core abs/muscles in the arms which would help him climb things rather easily ! Dead - Ikki : Because he kept trying to save people until he makes a mistake/sacrifices himself. - Kenji : Because he was too curious about the zombies which did, inevitably, lead him to a certain death. MIA Aya and Ryu, the two leaders. Last time people saw them they were alive, but nobody knows if it's still the case... ----- It was really fun to answer (I hope it did answer your question properly), and now I'm thinking of doing more thing like that, where the characters interact with each other on random topics (^ w^)/ And who knows, maybe it might inspire people for fanfics too ~

The sleeping arrangement changed since they met. That sort of thing tended to happen when the barrier of physical relationship had been crossed. Instead of tucked up in her own sleeping bag away from Bucky, Jane now spent most nights curled against his side. It was warmer, perfect since the nights were getting colder, convenient, safe, whatever excuse they could concoct as justification. In reality it just comforted Jane to have the intimacy. To have something beyond the basics of survival in her life. Dim light of dawn was breaking through the trees when the doctor awoke to a pleasantly different sensation. In her sleep, her cheek usually rested on Bucky’s shoulder; hand on his chest over his heart. However, now her hand was lightly held, a gentle finger tracing across her skin was what she’d felt; as if tracing the lines on a map to find the right path. It was barely a whisper of touch, not enough to have disturbed her sleep. A content smile curled her lips, cheek rubbing against the fabric of his shirt, subtly announcing she was awake.

“ Trouble sleeping? ” Jane asked, voice quiet so as to not disturb the peaceful moment. Nightmares happened sometimes, with the world what it was now….even more so for Bucky who experienced horrors even before everything ended.

OC: Revina Jane Revnic / Fic: Memento Vivere

She prefers the name Rev, her official codename is Revenant, and she will also answer to the following names: Cap, Captain, Cap'n, Boss, Boss Lady, Godsdammit, Zombs, and Living Dead Girl.

Rev is a Suicide Squad OC, who was first thought up back in 2016 and was given a makeover this year after The Suicide Squad came out. Her story crosses over with Memento Mori, a DCEU / Snyder Verse fic, whose main OCs are Ryan Lopez and Kit Kelley. Rev actually makes her debut in Memento Mori, because she's an old friend of Kit's and goes to him after an incident sidelines her, and then she gets her own story.

One important thing to know about Rev? She is a metahuman, not by choice. How she got her abilities is revealed in her story, but her abilities are fairly basic. She has above average strength and speed, but nothing in comparison to Superman or Wonder Woman. She's only abnormally strong compared to average humans. She also has regenerative healing abilities. Meaning that if she is damaged to the point of death, she will heal. (Rev refers to it as her respawn abilities. I refer to it as going Wolverine, minus the claws.) The regenerative healing abilities are where her codename originates from, Revenant, because she was once believed to be dead and then very clearly wasn't. She cannot, however, regrow organs or limbs. She knows this for a fact because her perfectly healthy appendix was removed and never grew back, and her left arm was severed at the shoulder and never grew back. As compensation, she was given a state-of-the-art prosthetic that has been programmed to look exactly like her original arm but can also change colors depending on her mood.

Prior to her story starting, Rev is a Captain in the Marines. Known as the Golden Child of Black Ops. If someone needs a job completed quickly and efficiently, they go to Rev. Even though, at this point, she feels no pride in her work and is only continuing on her current path because she doesn't know what else to do with her life. Then there's a slight incident, maybe someone dies, and she gets put on probation. That's when she shows up in Memento Mori, hanging out with Kit and contemplating her future.

Memento Vivere starts with Rev getting orders to report to Belle Reve, to become a live-in guard of the metahuman prisoners considering her own metahuman abilities and to act as Rick's second-in-command during missions, and she sees the order as a demotion. Going from being a top agent (top assassin) to babysitting? It's a little insulting. She also hates that she's no longer going to be operating on her own. That she'll have to work with a team and spend her days constantly around people, after spending years on her own. The story is going to start before the first Suicide Squad movie, the 2016 movie, and there are going to be so many changes. The story will also continue into the 2021 movie. (The timeline is plotted out and completely ignores canon.)

What I'm most excited about, is writing how Rev grows and changes throughout the story while still remaining true to who she is. The criminals that she expected to hate and resent having to look after? Those people are going to become her family. Girl nights (rarely officially approved) with Harley. Little gifts for (and from) Boomer. Shooting the shit (sometimes literally) with Floyd. Bets (over the dumbest shit) with Rick and GQ. Nap time with Cleo. Hitting the ranges with Dubois. Reading to Nanaue. Falling in love with Rick. There's so many wonderful things waiting for her, after she gets over being pissed off at the world. I don't have the ending fully planned out yet, she might actually become one of the criminals instead of being in charge of them, but I do know that her story is going to be a wild ride. A tragic backstory, a defining moment, scenes that are equally action-packed and heartfelt, and a main character discovering who she is after only ever knowing what she was for the longest time.

Runner 5 “Five / Fiver” : ( Cassidy Rourke )

Mainverse : ( Zombies, Run! ) not that this fandom is very large, if there’s a fandom for it at all -- but this really can fit into most, if not all, zombie apocalypse settings. Five is a Runner for Abel Township, meaning she collects supplies for the township and the people, as well as searching through abandoned buildings for anything that could assist the township in their survival against the zombs. i’d love to explore a crossover of sorts with this -- Abel Township really could be anywhere in terms of crossovers, and i think that’d be just super neat.

Blessed Be : ( Far Cry 5 ) a far cry ( ha ha ) from the wrath of the deputy, Fiver’s sin is invidia ; envy. never having been one for religion -- especially organized religion -- Fiver had never once walked into a church until her friend brought her along to service one day. she had to leave nearer the end of the sermon in order to bawl her eyes out; she couldn’t figure out why everyone was so happy in their faith and trust in the Lord while she was so miserable in her own life. her emotions in that moment were overwhelming. this grew to make her envious of those that threw themselves into their faith, and she was quick to join the Project when it came about her small town, if only to try and find some happiness and peace of mind. Fiver is intelligent enough to realize that this is a mistake immediately -- but is it so crazy to believe that the Father might be right in his teachings? all she wants is happiness . . . but is mindless conversion and militaristic command of civilians really the answer? in this verse, Fiver is part of the Project, but her faith in the Lord is pretty well non-existent; however, her faith in the Father is true, albeit hesitant. she plays the role of security of sorts, patrolling and reporting back to the Seed siblings as deemed necessary.

We’ll Make it Out Alive : ( The Last of Us ) treating this as a bit of a crossover of sorts, Abel Township will be a small settlement not far off from Tommy’s settlement in Wyoming. Fiver is still a runner for Abel, but finds herself injured during one of her runs and is brought back to the dam in order to recover. in this verse, i’m happy to place Fiver and the township of Abel in just about any state for the purpose of plot. she’s really just a runner for supplies and patrol, and is simply trying to survive until a cure for the virus is found.
