ok so...I wouldnt call myself necessarily "artistically talented", and I famously am very bad at perspectives.. but i drew a thing for @bearotonin-international

#2 hours of my life well spent id say.. #and brown bear's little drawing is supposed to be Brown bear + Panda bear. but i realise that both initials fit at least two different #bears. so you can honestly interpret it as you want.. #i didnt realise how hard drawing uno cards would be.. my notes app wouldnt zoom more and my fingers arent small enough for that.. #but actually they do look pretty good from farther away.. #also my imagining is that they cant buy furniture. because they're bears. so they have to make do with what they find.. #and that polar bear in the front is playing tetris and losing.. #also literally only that brown bear in the back is doing actual work lmao.. #and sorry for making them all look so tiny. its really hard to draw a realistically proportionate bear.. #my art

#Omori #Omori spoilers #Omori omori #omori something #My art #Gif #Flashing #Eyes #Yep I painted it #Long time no art blog #Oh yeah I figured out a cool art thing #You know how there is drawing from your imagination and drawing from real life? #Both use a different kind of flow #There's flow where you focus inward #And flow where you focus outward #(Flow is being 'in the zone' making art) #I've noticed I feel more awake and alert the more I draw based on real life #It feels like time passes slower because I'm taking in more of the world #When I draw from imagination #It feels like time zooms by and I feel more spaced out/disconnected #Idk if this is just obvious for everyone else lol #But it's helped me realise why some people might like drawing from life (before I found it kinda boring ngl) #Because it's drawing and fully experiencing the world at the same time #When I started focusing on just experiencing the world instead of anatomy or shading or making it look perfect or whatever. It got easier #Kinda like if I draw from imagination #Instead of making it look perfect and fixing 100 mistakes I just get lost in my imagination and draw at the same time #So I'm experiencing my imagination #Also this animation is finally out so I can post this \o/

#it’s so vivid. like just looking at the song titles and album covers #most of them i don’t even remember what they sound like but it evokes such deep memories of whatever my mental state was #at the time when they were at the top of the liked songs list #like #that’s when i made the questionable decision to pick up stardew valley in the middle of the semester #that’s the day my lab group went to the corn maze #that’s when i first joined the lab and started to feel okay about my life for the first time in years #that’s when i was trying to find my balance after the transition from zoom uni to in person #that’s when i first became truly insane about qntal #that’s when i was working on that drawing and i actually felt like i was creating something #that’s when i was losing my mind trying to exist on east coast time when i was living on the west coast #etc etc #screams into the void
