For this exercise I am going to approach my topics with the green hat that being "creativity" so I am going to fill these A5 pieces of paper with concepts and sketches for each topic. At this point I am not going to consider the phesability of these ideas.

Fungi- for this module I am interested in researching and creating something that is known as a Zoomquilt. As this module is about experimental motion graphics I believe this effect could be used in one of my 5 second animations. A link to an example of a zoom quilt is below.

This effect could be applicable to any of these topics but it fits well with fungi as the both exist on a micro level beneath our feet and a macro level. For example, there is a fungus that is 2,384 acres large, known as Armillaria Ostoyae. I had heard this claim but decided to research further and found this article.

When trying to come up with ideas for what I could project my animation onto, I came up with a few; my first idea was to project a animation of fungus growing onto a bell jar, so that I could look like a strange subversion of the rose from beauty and the beast.

them my second idea was to project it onto a organic object like the cap of a mushroom sculpture, or a slice of wood from a tree. the last idea i had was to project it onto a body, as if the fungi were growing outwards from them similar to the last of us or the girl with all the gifts.
