#zootopia pro life comic
Text
Absolutely nothing in this world could’ve prepared me for knowing that the pro choice nick wilde/judy hopps ab0rt!on comic (available to read in its entirety on imagur) has a sequel in which nick bangs on judys apartment at 2 AM in the morning and begs for her back, and then we find out judy did indeed abort the baby AND she is now gay and living with and dating a female fox. Nick calls her (the female fox) a “lezzy.” disturbing.

None of you have actually read the zootopia abortion comic and therefore like to claim it was pro life. However as someone who as read all 3 parts out of morbid curiousity, i will tell you that it is both pro choice and pro gay people. Unfortunately it is still pro cop

will you be reading beter’s graphic novel
I have some very serious reservations about Pete Wentz's graphic novel including but not limited to
1) There was supposed to be some kind of formal announcement about the book at Comic Con but he weaseled out of it. The publication of his last book was continually delayed for seven (7) years
2) I heard a rumor that the person he is co-writing with this time is like the manager of BJA's shitty children. I doubt this is fully true but I feel like there is some kind of basis of truth to it and given my own personal history, anyone who works for BJA's shitty children is utterly fundamentally and unforgivably repulsive to me
3) The last time Pete tried writing a book from a girl's perspective it was literally exactly like the Pro-life Zootopia Abortion Comic and someone made him stop thankfully however he still needs to pay for those crimes

The wild thing about the Zootopia abortion comic is that everyone called it the “pro-life” Zootopia abortion comic, which was insane because it meant nobody had actually read it.

Uh. What's the abortion comic?
a zootopia fancomic published in 2017 i believe about judy and nick getting pregnant and judy getting an abortion but nick didnt want her to and it was like, very pro-life vibes. and there was a sequel where judy got a girlfriend, became president, and then got assassinated in a redraw of the jfk assassination. i dont have all the details but it was wild and people are saying i made it for some reason

You know I think that one of the weirdest hills I'm willing to die on is the defense of the "Zootopia Abortion Comic". Because some people still refer to it as the "Zootopia Pro-Life Comic", when that is actually blatant misinformation.
I think that most people never even went to read the actual comic, nor bothered to learn the author's true intentions, and they just saw the ONE panel where Nick is like "I can't support you having this abortion it's murder" and they just assumed that Nick must be a stand-in for the author's real opinion.
They don't know that Judy rejected Nick's opinion and went through with the abortion anyway after he walked out on her and in the sequel he realizes the error of his ways and tries to beg her to take him back but she refuses his apology because he walked out on her during a very vulnerable and scary time in her life PLUS she has already moved on and is dating a GIRL fox now?? There's even an epilogue comic where it's years in the future and Judy and her fox WIFE have 2 adopted kids and she's the Mayor now and she runs into Nick, who apologizes for everything, and they're FRIENDS NOW. (and then yes also the part after that where she gets assassinated JFK style, BUT IT'S OKAY IT WAS JUST CHERRY JAM NOT BLOOD, SHE ISN'T REALLY DEAD)
The author even stated very clearly that the comics weren't intended to be either for nor against abortion, and that their only intention was to portray a difficult breakup over a contentious matter, and that they did not intend to support a pro-life message, and while I don't know much more about the author than that and cannot wholly defend his character, I CANNOT STOP MYSELF FROM "WELL, ACTUALLY"-ING ANYONE WHO TRIES TO CALL IT THE ZOOTOPIA PRO-LIFE COMIC.

apropos of nothing i am thinking about the zootopia abortion comic and how people called it pro life and i am thinking about that tumblr post disparaging northstar's coming out issue because 'it's like a psa about how we should care about aids because it affects 'innocent' straight people as well' and im just so worried about how media literacy is at a clear all time low. genuinely concerned

JFK exists in the zootopia abortion comic??
oh god. nonny i want to preface this by saying i am so, so sorry that i made you aware of this. i should have kept my mouth shut. something something today’s unlucky ten-thousand.
first off, no. jfk doesn’t exist in the zootopia abortion comic. it’s worse.
i didn’t know this until i fucking googled the damn thing but it turns out there are three parts. the infamous panel with the slap is from the first part, but the third part, published in november 2021, had some some extra pages that aren’t officially part of the comic’s canon(?) but like, same artist same universe, so ymmv.
ANYWAY.
part three. judy is the mayor. she’s married to a lady fox and they have two adopted kids. nick is also married to a lady fox and has a biological kid. judy’s fox wife is a furry version of jackie kennedy. she is wearing a pink suit and a pillbox hat.
judy sees nick one day and mentions how her mayoral platform of total integration between the predator and prey animals is mostly accepted, but has spawned some offshoot extremist groups in both directions. offshoot groups to which, i might add, there are extremely explicit nazi parallels, including splash panels of them doing nazi salutes. judy and nick say they still care deeply for one another and are both pleased that the other got what they wanted in life blah blah blah.
extra pages. judy is in a parade car with jackie canidae. in, and i cannot stress this enough, a shot for shot reenactment of the fucking jfk assassination, she is hit by a sniper and her head fucking EXPLODES in what is genuinely a really lurid blood spatter considering this is a comic based off a kids’ movie about talking animals solving crimes together.
jackie canidae is freaking out, she has blood over her pink suit, people are screaming, etc, etc. two animals, one a member of a pro-prey extremist group and one a member of a pro-predator extremist group, start arguing about which one of them shot judy.
judy then opens her eyes and sits up. she licks off the “dangerously sugary” cherry jam she is now covered in. the projectile was not a bullet, but a paintball filled with jam. the end.
now, apparently the original ending was judy actually got fucking shot. why the original artist wanted to recreate the jfk assassination is beyond me. i guess because the integration of the predator and prey animals is thematically similar to the civil rights movement? provided you squint?? ignore all the wider historical context??? up to and including slavery???
either way, allegedly the blood spatter was way worse, the comic ended like that, but the artist got so much backlash because, y’know, jfk assassination, and also possibly because judy was the one who wanted the abortion back in the first comic (remember that, nonny? remember when this was just about a weird fox-rabbit hybrid baby???) and it looked like she was being punished for getting an abortion of a child she didn't want. so the artist changed it to a weird jam-based fake-out.
once again, i would like to apologise for the psychic damage i have just caused you and anyone else who had the misfortune to stumble across this post.

sarah zed for 5 minutes: just a disclaimer. I am not claiming that "pro life" was the definitive message of the episode and the creators of the episode have explicitly said "this has nothing to do with abortion rights"
sarah zed for the next 45 minutes: *describes basically the pro life zootopia comic except it was a real episode of real doctor who*
