rewatching Zou and thinking about how the Heart Pirates really wanted to meet Luffy but Law had almost immediately asked Luffy to talk in private and the Heart Pirates were all like "not cool captain come on” and giving thumbs down to him.

i know this is a stretch but

Luffy and Law weren’t together for maybe a couple hours, maybe a day at most???? and Law is already stealing Luffy away like they didn’t just an arc and filler together lmao. Law’s crew just wanted to meet his boyfriend😭 and hang out with him, the last time they saw Luffy, he was like half dead you know? this is good blackmail material for them though, Law being all clingy is adorable as hell.

i just realized something. zepo (from pedro’s flashback with big mom) was definitely bepo’s older brother, who bepo originally left zou to search for. when bepo returned to zou with the heart pirates, he learned that his brother had died (although he had already decided to stay with law). law reaches zou and reunites with bepo and the hearts, and they all go on to fight kaido and big mom with the strawhats. law teams up with kidd to defeat big mom.

law literally killed the woman who murdered bepo’s brother. hell fucking yeah

i finally reached wano! and the zolu reunion is just as good as all those manga panels i read before i even got to it for myself alksdjs

plus i have a small comparison i want to point out with the ending of the zou arc - to see how luffy and zoro were all smiles even when going separate ways for a while:

with most of the other strawhats (except robin and franky lol) being so freaked out by how luffy chose to get from the elephant of zou, falling down, basically. but luffy and zoro were just smiling at each other!

"see you in wano!!!" "you bet!!"

(and robin just waving and smiling is so cute too!)

and then you have the wano reunion, with luffy trying to guess who that person in distance might be,

until luffy hearing more of the conversation and putting it together that it's really zoro! (plus blushing!)

and the fact that they're again smiling so brightly at each other is just beautiful! <33 (i missed zoro in the past arc so much..finally at last, they're once again together. i will have to watch the anime version too)

I'm not sure which one of them is saying the 'it's been forever!' bc the verily hints more that it was zoro saying that, but either way it's so funny bc it was like a month max, right? maybe less,. so the fact that they were missing each other so much!! it just warms my heart so much <33
