Randomly thinking about how one time I went to a summer college course while I was in high school and the big gossip was about how this one girl who didn’t shave her pits was gross and slutty because… get this… she and her boyfriend had come back to this summer college course for three years just so they could see each other because they lived in different places… and she didn’t shave her armpits.

Even at the time (I was like… 14) I remember being like “…I don’t even know these people and this doesn’t make sense so I don’t care”.

Now, as an adult? It’s legitimately both so funny and so fucked up that all a girl had to do to be labeled as a slut was… excel academically to be able to attend this summer program so she could see her boyfriend of SEVERAL YEARS, who she met in this summer program. And also she doesn’t shave her armpits, which is gross and weird and somehow deviant.

I passed out during that summer program bc I wasn’t eating enough, and I remember in the ER, just barely having returned to consciousness, I apologized to the doctor because I hadn’t shaved my legs.

It’s insane to me that I tested positive for one tree and like two weeds that I’m allergic to but every time I step outside right now I have an instant pressure headache and feel like shit.

My beloved is even worse, they had like three or four each of trees and grass pollens they’re positive for. It’s awful. Pollen is off the fucking charts, my car in entombed in the slutty tree dust every day and there’s no end in sight.
