the only thing that gets tasm!peter parker through the week is the smile you give him every morning when you walk into homeroom. as he skateboards to school on monday morning, he finds himself welcoming the day ahead.
and just like clockwork, you walk into homeroom and sit at the desk next to peter’s, that familiar smile aimed straight at him. he smiles back, but you turn away before you can notice the subtle blush on his cheeks.
the same thing happens on tuesday and wednesday. even when you run into homeroom after the second bell and earn yourself a tardy, you still find the time to flash him that smile.
it’s on thursday when there’s a shift in the atmosphere. you trail in with the other students, but this time you sit down with a thud of your notebook and a sigh. peter looks over at you, anticipating the smile that never comes. he frowns when he notices your tired expression.
as your teacher takes attendance, peter rips out a piece of paper from his notebook and scribbles something in his unruly handwriting. when the teacher’s back is turned, he pretends like he’s stretching and drops the note on your desk. you jump out of your trance and look over at peter, who’s suddenly very interested in the initials carved into his wooden desk. you furrow your eyebrows and open the note.
why did the spider get a job in tech support? because he was great at debugging!
you roll your eyes but can’t stop the smile from spreading across your face. your eyes meet and peter gives you a smile of his own.
by friday, he’s walking you to first period and kissing you outside of the door.

The Barista
Relationship: Matt Murdock x Reader Warnings: nothing. only fluff Summary: Although the barista at the local coffee shop never seems to be able to get Matt's order right, something keeps bringing him back. A/N: enjoy this quick little fluffy thing I whipped up in the notes app of my phone <3
Masterlist
Matt winced after he took another sip of his coffee. You had added cinnamon to it this time. Cinnamon. He didn’t know how you managed to do that. His coffee was simple and, more importantly, never changed, but you—a barista at the local coffee shop—always somehow managed to get it just a little incorrect.
But, also, Matt wasn’t exactly keen on skipping his weekly coffee trips.
“What did she put in your coffee this time?” Foggy asked after having witnessed the face his friend had made.
Matt sighed. “Cinnamon.”
“Cinnamon?” Foggy laughed. “I don’t understand how that is even possible. Why do you keep going to that place?”
Matt did his best to his shrug casual, undetectable. “No reason. It’s not that big of a deal.”
Foggy gasped. “Oh my gosh.”
“What?”
“There’s a hot barista, isn’t there?”
Matt immediately started spewing out (weak) protests. “What. That’s… I— How would I—,”
But Foggy cut him off. “Don’t give me that again, Matthew. You do know. You can’t stop yourself from going to the coffee shop because you’re trying to get with a hot barista.”
“Okay,” Matt said in defeat, “maybe let’s not call her ‘hot barista.’ She’s just… She’s very kind. She makes silly coffee puns when I order. Sometimes we get to talking and… I don’t know. I like it. I like her, I think.”
“Even though she gets your coffee order wrong every single time?”
Matt blushed. “Well, I think I make her a little nervous. I may or may not have noticed some spikes in her heart rate.”
"Oh, that’s perfect," Foggy said with a laugh. "So, when are you going to ask her out?"
"I— I don’t think I can do that. That would be weird, right? Maybe she’s just being nice to me. I don’t want to be one of those customers."
"But you said her heart skips when you walk in."
"Sure, but maybe she’s just an anxious person—,"
Foggy scoffed. "Since when have you ever had this many reservations about asking someone out?"
"I don’t know," Matt admitted with a sigh. "I don't think she needs to get wrapped up in all my stuff."
"Actually it sounds like she very much wants to get wrapped up with you."
"Foggy…"
"Alright, alright, I’ll stop," he said, raising his arms in surrender. "I’m just saying, it sounds like she might be into you so I would at least think about it."
And so Matt did. He tried not to—he really did—but no matter how much he resisted it, your angelic voice and his best friend’s insisting words kept creeping up in the back of his mind. Even when he was out patrolling his city, the thoughts didn’t leave him.
In fact, it consumed Matt for an entire weekend. And he found himself back at the coffee shop bright and early Monday morning.
As Matt opened the door, he was immediately hit by your soft, sweet voice talking to another customer. You were kind and respectful as you interacted with them but Matt was quick to notice you didn’t share a coffee pun. He didn’t know why that made something in his chest warm.
When he approached the counter, he heard your heart speed up just ever so slightly, as if on perfect cue. Matt enjoyed trying to act clueless sometimes.
"Good—Good morning, Matthew," you said. "It’s good to see you again. I missed you a latte this past weekend."
Matt subtly tightened the grip on his cane. He swore you winced at your words, which he found adorable. "Good morning.” He couldn’t help but smile. "That was a good one.”
You giggled. And it nearly took his breath away.
“Thank you,” you replied. “I have to start looking up new ones. I fear I’m running out.”
Matt shook his head. “We can’t have that, can we?”
You laughed again. You were as giddy as ever around him. Maybe Foggy wasn’t completely bonkers, Matt thought.
"What can I get started for you today, Mister Lawyer?”
"Coffee. Splash of cream," Matt answered.
"Of course, of course," you muttered to yourself before waltzing around behind the counter. The sound of grinding beans and dripping coffee made Matt’s ears perk up.
"Busy day today?" You asked over the noise of the machines.
Matt shook his head. "Paperwork to do, files to review. The usual," he replied but his words felt jilted. Should he ask you? Would that be weird? Would you call the cops or something?
"Well, that’s good to hear! Your day will fly by," you said quite cheerfully. It made Matt feel really good—a particular kind of good that didn’t always come easily for him.
"It’s already off to a great start here," Matt replied, taking a little leap of faith. He swore he heard you gasp. "Um, you know, there is something I wanted to ask you."
You were now pouring coffee into a to-go cup. Matt didn’t think you had messed up anything this time but he couldn’t be sure. He was a little distracted.
"Oh, yeah?" You asked. Your voice was suddenly shaky. Your heart rate shot up. Not just a skip like before. It was pounding.
It could mean anything, really, he told himself.
"Yeah." Matt took a deep breath. "I was wondering if you’d like to grab dinner sometime. With me."
Something heavy hit the counter. "Uh, dinner? Like as a date?"
Matt chuckled. "Yes, exactly like a date."
"I’d love to." You didn’t even hesitate slightly. That made Matt feel really good.
"Great," he replied. He was sure he was keeping his composure from the outside but on the inside? He wanted to let out a sigh of relief.
You two exchanged contact information after Matt’s order was ready. He paid and you both kept it very professional, even when he noticed your hands were pretty much shaking.
The professionalism fell when he was bidding you a goodbye. You stepped around the counter to plant a kiss on his cheek and wish him a good day. It nearly took Matt aback but not in a bad way.
A permanent smile was etched onto his face for the entire morning—even when he went to take a sip of his coffee...
Vanilla. Matt could smell it, he could taste it. You had somehow added a splash of vanilla syrup to his cup of coffee. Matt laughed to himself.

Can I make a request for Willy Wonka I know in the movie he can't read and the situation could be where reader has a letter from a family member and is busy and asks Willy to read it out to her but he embarrassingly admits he can't read and reader is understanding and comforts him plz
Letters From A to Z
Tumblr media
Willy Wonka x reader
Words: 960
I feel like you wanted more angst and this wasn’t really angsty 🫣 I hope you still enjoy reading it!
Tumblr media
Oh how the months fly.
One moment you’re with your mother, living your regular routine day to day life as the weeks pass you by. And the next you’re living independently, making something of yourself in a unique and lovely town.
Along with this new environment came a new job of course, new friends, and an unexpected new beau.
But after some time spent away from your origins you have to admit you were growing slightly homesick. Which is why you’ve decided to write your mother.
You wrote a quick note, telling her about the good and bad parts of your current job along with Willy Wonka, your sudden suitor.
Two weeks went by and although initially eager to get a response, your mind completely forgot about the letter once you returned to your weekly dues.
That was until one day, when Willy stopped by after retrieving your mail for you.
Hands currently occupied with a frying pan, you instructed him to place the letters on the counter.
But as Willy did so, he noticed an envelope that looked different than the rest.
Its font was not as professionally done and it was a beautiful pastel color. “What about this one?” He asked, picking it up.
Instantly recognizing the color your face lit up. “That’s from my mother! Open it, open it,” you ushered.
“Your mother?”
“Yes, I sent her a letter earlier this month, you know about how things are going, about you…”
The chocolatier raised a brow at this, prompting you to add, “all good things, I promise. But go on,” you repeated.
He looked quizzically at the envelope then back at you, “I don’t know it seems very personal to do that.”
“Are you kidding? I want you to read it, go on now.”
You waited patiently, eyes glued to your food while you heard him breathe out a quiet, “…alright.”
You hear the crinkle of the envelope as he breaks it open with his finger.
He holds out a, “hmm,” for an unusual amount of time causing you to turn to him. His eyes were squinted and his eyebrows were forced down with the crease in the center deepening as he held the paper in both of his hands.
You mirrored his expression confused by what was going on?
Does it say something weird? Is it bad news?
“What? What is it?” You ask, growing anxious by the moment. Finally he closes the letter, placing it back on the counter.
“There’s something I should probably tell you. Or maybe something I should’ve told you about before. Well frankly it’s not that important,” he brushed off, “although others tell me otherwise,” he runs on, beginning to converse with himself near the end.
“Willy,” you turn the stove handle on low for a moment, leaving your food and focusing your attention and your body on the boy, now concerned, “what’s going on?”
You watched him press his lips together with an embarrassed smile creeping onto his face. This was unlike him, he rarely gets bashful at least not in front of you.
But then he spat it out, “Actually I…don’t know how to read.”
Your eyebrow muscles pull down while your nose scrunches, “you don’t know how to read?”
“No…” you looked at him waiting for him to explain more and he seemed to understand your lack of words, “I devoted all of my education to chocolate.”
“But reading is sort of important.”
“I’m beginning to notice that around here, yes.”
You stand, face still expressing shock, and you can tell he’s ready to move further. “I don’t know how to read, okay.”
You suck in a breath before releasing it realizing that maybe your reaction was not the most rational.
“I’m sorry Willy. I’ll admit that wasn’t the best response, I was just surprised that’s all.”
You two mull in silence for a moment as you try to formulate your next thoughts but he seems to have thoughts of his own.
“Does it feel strange for you to be with a man who can’t read?”
You shake your head in a second, “of course not! It doesn’t feel strange at all. Although it can be rare, there are some people, even older, who never learned how to read. I’m actually impressed by how much success you’ve gained without the skill.”
Willy’s ears perked up as you expressed admiration.
But still you knew how important the skill was around here.
“It’s fine if the answer is no, but I’m curious, have you ever considered learning?”
“Initially no,” he explains, “but as I found out how unusual it is, I’m starting to believe that I should.”
“Hm. Well If you truly wanted to learn, I could always teach you.”
Finishing your meal up, you split it, placing it on two plates nearby before bringing it over to him and setting one plate in front of him then placing the other in your spot.
One side of his lip tugged slightly, “wouldn’t that be odd?”
“Odd? Maybe. But I think it could be fun!”
He grins at your optimism that he usually displayed. “I guess, we could give it a go.”
You clasp your hands together in contentment. “Terrific! We can start tomorrow,” you beam at him and his expression finally mirrors your enthusiasm before it turns to remembering.
“Oh here,” he hands you the letter that started this whole discussion, “read it.”
You take the letter and instead of reading it you position yourself beside him, “here how about I read it and you follow along with where my finger is so you can see where I’m reading.”
He nods l in agreement while you begin and he follows along as you delve into the writings from your mother.

Envious; To Be Or Not To Be That Is The Question
Tumblr media
Willy Wonka x reader
Words: 1164
Tumblr media
Business was booming in the Wonka store.
People were constantly coming in and out and candy was practically flying off the shelves. Willy became busy working in his factory and his shop, but he still always had time for you and you were always grateful for that.
Honestly speaking, you expected this, I mean how could you not? His chocolate was so stupenderrific.
What you didn’t expect, or rather, what you forgot about was the popularity of not just the chocolate but of the man behind the creations.
You noticed it a few times before. The way someone would give him a look or maybe chat with their friends and giggle while staring at Willy Wonka. It didn’t bother you so, because nobody ever really acted on anything and you knew Willy only had his eye on one person.
You.
But today? Today was a little different.
Today you had decided to visit the chocolatier, which wasn’t out of the ordinary for you.
When entering the chocolate store you immediately noticed the crowd. There were people practically everywhere, left and right. But even so, you could easily spot your darling a mile away.
He was currently occupied with customers showing them around the store, no doubt explaining his chocolate to them. Not wanting to interrupt of course, you opted to walking around yourself, snacking on some of the sweet treats here and there.
Munching on a silver lining you neared your partner, while still keeping your distance. You could hear Willy as he enthusiastically explained his methods and you couldn’t help but beam at his passion.
Watching in admiration a comment nearby pulled you out of your daze.
“That Mr.Wonka, his snacks are delicious.” You heard coming from a group of women beside you. You glanced at them quickly, noticing how they were openly gawking.
“His snacks aren’t the only thing that’s delicious,” said another, before they burst into giggles.
You shook your head, rolling your eyes at the remarks. You tried to pay no mind but they continued.
“You are so bad.”
“What? She’s right,” said another, “actually I might take a crack at that.”
You frown slightly, your eyebrows knitting together.
“He’s probably taken.”
“Couldn’t hurt to try.”
“He might be tired of his relationship anyway.”
You squint, growing upset as they continue in their discussions with the occasional laughs. Who talks like that? You watch in annoyance as the group travels to Willy Wonka. Honestly you were upset, but frankly you wanted to see how this all was going to go down.
Picking up a flower dessert the woman saunters to Willy, “gee Mr.Wonka, your ideas are oh so unique. You can really see your pure creativity in each and every one.”
“Well thank you,” says Willy, always appreciative to hear kind words.
“I would love to come to your factory and…taste test for you,” comments another one of the women butting ahead of her friend.
But Willy doesn’t seem to pick up on her tone, “I apologize but I’m not hiring at the moment.”
Unfortunately the latter woman is persistent.
“No, not for a job,” she laughed resting a hand on his shoulder, while her friends watched on, “I was thinking more of an after hours sort of special taste test.”
Willy stares at her with the same smile still on his lips, “why would you want to do that?”
At this point it’s impossible for you not to laugh at how oblivious he seemed about her advances.
The woman opens her mouth once more but unable to witness any further you stepped in. “Willy!” You exclaimed, gaining his attention along with the small group.
Willy’s smile broadened, expressing a goofy grin as he shifted his body towards you. “Darling! What are you doing here?” He asks enthusiastically, while you place a small kiss on his cheek as you near.
“Oh nothing, just stopping by,” you respond before turning to the group feigning surprise at your own interruption, “oh I’m sorry. I’d like to thank you all for supporting my Willy’s dream. It means the world to me and him that he has your support,” you glance to the last woman taking note of the obscure expression decorating her face.
“Oh did I interrupt?”
“Nope. We were just about done” says Willy. He thanks the attendees before tugging you to the opposite side that’s less crowded.
“You are hilarious…Mr.Wonka,” you tease, your tone light.
His head tilts, clearly confused by your words.
“That woman,” you point with your eyes at the scene you two left behind, “she was desperately flirting.”
Willy’s eyelids lift, his eyes widened at this news, “with who?” He glances around trying to match the suitor.
“With you.”
He bends his hand placing the tips of his fingers on his chest as if questioning, ‘me?’ And you nod in response.
Willy’s lips curled downwards in thought, but then his face contorted to an even more curious one.
“Huh?”
You raise a brow at that, “what?”
“Nothing,” he brushes.
But then, “huh?”
You shake your head, a smile threatening to break through, “that’s a double huh. Spill it.”
Willy shifted to you the smile of his own widening, “did you perhaps…get envious?”
That is not a discussion you were expecting to have at this moment.
“I have no idea what you’re going on about,” you protest, yet the smile on your face expresses something else.
“See I don’t think that’s entirely true,” he pointed out crossing his arms, “because A, your face right now tells me otherwise, and B, you interrupted my tour.”
Willy had a point there. Typically when you came in and he was busy discussing, whether it be with a group or an individual, you always waited until he was absolutely free. However, this time, you did not.
But still…“you’re imagining things,” you tease, your eyes leaving his, unable to willingly admit the facts.
“Uh-huh, okay. Well…”
He leans over faster than you realize, with his lips coming in contact flush against your own. Before he retracts himself.
“It’s flattering that you feel so strongly about me.”
“Yeah, well…yeah,” is all you say bashful enough of your own feelings, “but how could you not notice her advances?” You’re genuinely curious because it all was so obvious.
He shrugged a dazed look on his expression, “I guess it’s easy to give no thought to those things, when I’ve already got something so special with you.”
Feeling your cheeks gain in warmth you glance away clearing your throat in bashfulness, “woah, I thought chocolate was your expertise not cheesiness.”
He laughed along with you, “eh who knows, maybe I can try to branch out into the cheesy side of things.”
You open your mouth but are interrupted by another inquiring customer who gains the chocolatier's attention.
Standing aside and letting him be you observe, pondering on how thankful you are to have found this man.
And suddenly gaining in curiousness…does he get jealous?

Hey! Jumped on the Wonka train since yesterday and had two thumbs up! Can I request a Wonka x single mom reader where during the course of the movie they’ve built up a bit of a flirtation/relationship and he bonds with her kid (s) bc of course they love the magician with chocolate who makes their mama smile. Specifically I’m looking for like a scene towards the end of the movie or post-canon where he expresses interest in adopting her kid (or kids) and of course marriage so they can all be one real happy family together. Sorry if that description’s a lot
Beginnings of a New Dream

Ahhh this one is so bad 🙈 I tried with this one but honestly I hate it, Idk I think it's cause I can't relate to parent fics so I just suck at them but still I wanna thank you for requesting
“Where is he?” You said to yourself, as you turned around in search of the young child. You’ve left him alone only for one second and now, poof, he’s nowhere in sight.
Your eyes scanned your surroundings quickly until it spotted a familiar tiny figure standing upright among the white snow and you wasted no time to catch up.
“There you are,” you breathed out, worried tone evident in your voice, “I told you to stay put,” you reminded, before noticing the stranger who was with him.
The unknown man was wearing a tattered overcoat, along with a worn out top hat. His outfit was very…unusual, to say the least. And he was quite handsome.
But what concerned you the most, was his outstretched hand which held a small piece of wrapped candy.
You glanced at your son who was already chewing on what you could assume was a different piece, then back at the stranger who instantly understands how bad this looks.
“I’m sorry, I haven’t properly introduced myself. My name is Willy Wonka and I’m a chocolatier hoping to open my own shop very soon.”
“Mommy he can do magic!” Shouted your son.
“Oh he can now, can he?”
Willy Wonka. You’ve heard that name around town a few times, but this is the first you’ve seen of the man.
He held out a hand to which you firmly shook, “well Willy Wonka, surely you, being a stranger and all, understand why I find it odd you’re giving candy to my son, knowing how dangerous it is for children to talk to, no less take candy from a stranger.”
“Ahem,” he let out an awkward cough as he retracted his hand. “I do apologize. It wasn’t my intention to cause fret. The little guy looked lost so my only intent was to keep him safe and occupied, honest.”
You squinted slightly unsure of the man. He stood arms up and opened in an innocent manner. His eyes were big with his thick eyebrows angled upwards at the middle before curving down. He did seem to be of no harm, and he did keep your son safe.
You let out a relaxed sigh, “it’s alright, it’s my fault anyway, I should’ve kept an eye on my son. Thank you for keeping him safe.”
Wonka’s shoulders dropped and his facial muscles relaxed at your pardon.
You reached down holding your child close, “we’ll leave you be. Thanks again.”
“Wait,” his voice rang out, catching you before you departed. “Would you like to try a piece?” He held out the same small piece of chocolate from earlier in his palm upwards towards you.
You’re just about ready to decline the offer but again he speaks out, “it would really be helpful to have a mature opinion on this chocolate.”
You nodded caving in because honestly, who were you to deny free chocolate, your mind thought showing you to be just as gullible as a child. Taking the sweet treat, you pop it past your lips.
Immediately a rich flavor overtakes your mouth and as you bite into it, a milky chocolate filling spreads around.
It was quite good.
“Mmm,” you nodded towards the man, “oh you are going to go far with this chocolate Mr.Wonka.”
“Thank you. Your words mean much to me,” he said genuinely, and you let out a chuckle, “you’re welcome Mr.Wonka,” you say, as you turn around, hand in hand with your son.
Willy watches you fade from view with a prominent smile on his lips, because although he knew his business would do well, with the justification of your words he felt he was on the right path.
And honestly he hoped to meet you on this path again.
Days passed until you met the self proclaimed chocolatier again.
You had been traveling, hand clasped with your sons, when you spotted Mr.Wonka’s pop up store in the center of town. Initially wanting to pass the store along with the small crowd surrounding it, your plans are thwarted when your son pulls you towards it.
“It’s Mr.Wonka!” Shouted your son as he pointed towards the herd, “alright, alright we’ll just stop by.” He runs, his little feet taking him as fast as he can while dragging your body along.
“Mr.Wonka! Mr.Wonka!” Shouts your son as he rushes to the front with you following close behind.
Willy’s eyes widened in recognition, “well hey there, little guy, back so soon?” He asks, prompting your son.
You watch, looking on as the chocolatier chats with your child. They go back and forth creating small talk, before Wonka pulls out one tiny piece of chocolate, He waves his hands around and the crowd watches as he turns one piece into two right in front of their eyes.
“Woah, do it again!” Clapped your boy in amazement, and truthfully you felt the same way.
He performs the trick once more and again your son laughs as Wonka gives him one of the pieces before turning to you and handing you the other piece.
“You are surprisingly well with children.”
He shrugs, at the comment, “it helps when you have such a sweet child…who has such a pleasant mother.”
He tips his hat while all you can do is chuckle trying not to look too moved by the man’s remark.
“Thank you Mr.Wonka.”
“Please, call me Willy,” he adds and you nod while he returns his attention to other customers.
That Willy Wonka, what a charmer he was.
The week goes by before you run into the young man again, however, this time you were alone.
“Willy!” You announced, trying not to sound too excited when you saw the chocolatier, who was walking along the street with a young lady. (You soon learned her name to be Noodle.)
You exchange greetings while Noodle makes her exit leaving you be.
“What are you doing all alone? Where is the little one?” He asks, glancing around. “Oh I had to run some errands today so I had a friend watch him for me.”
Willy shares a soft smile, “he really is a brilliant kid, with a brilliant mother of course.”
“You flatter me Mr.Wonka.”
“Willy,” he reminds.
“Willy,” you repeat, sharing a look together before he blinks readjusting his focus.
“Oh!” His eyes enlarge as he reaches behind him into his battered briefcase, “I had something made for the little guy, and for, ahem, the mister back home,” he holds out a small jar of candies to which you take grateful.
“Please, there’s nothing of the sort, just me and the kiddo.”
“I’m sorry to hear that.”
“It’s alright. It’s been that way for a while, it’s sort of the only way we know.”
Willy shares a look with you, one unlike the look of pity most give when they hear your story, it was more of admiration? Respect? Either way, you thank him for thinking of you and as you do so, you hear a siren noise nearing before the chief of police arrives.
He steps out of his vehicle and Willy turns to you, “I think you should go. Now. I’ll talk to you soon,” he says and you nod in understanding leaving the scene as the chief of police nears.
That’s how your time gets spent whenever you spot the man; your son talks with him, you talk with him, Willy performs a magic trick. You try to buy some candy, Willy refuses and instead gives it to you for free and then you’re on your way.
“Willy! Willy! Look, my tooth is missing!” Your son yelled running up to Willy.
“Oh wow, that is outstanding! But you know what I heard?” Willy lowers himself to your son’s level, hushing his voice.
“I heard this year, the tooth fairy started leaving candy underneath the pillows, for all the good boys and girls.”
“Really?!”
Willy looks up in your direction shooting you a quick wink.
“Really.”
Your son turns to you with a smile from ear to ear present on his face as you nod confirming his curiosities.
Mirroring his grin you watch on as Willy and your son continue in conversation. You’ve grown to the sight of them both, chatting and laughing. It was a very lovable sight.
That’s how it went, your meetings together.
And with each meeting you found yourself drawing closer and closer to the man, staying longer and longer on your visits.
The last time you saw Willy was at his opening for the factory, when everything went south. People rioted and burned his shop down and in the craziness you grabbed your son and ran putting his safety first.
After that you didn’t hear from Willy.
That is until today. You weren’t there when all the mess went down. When Willy and his team practically outsmarted the Chocolate Cartel, having them arrested.
But you made sure to be there for Willy Wonka’s new opening of his shop.
You stood in the crowd, your hand clutching your sons as the people gathered around trying the various sweets and treats.
Walking around taking in all the beautiful colors and lights you stop at a wall full of jellybeans and gumdrops. And giving your son permission to collect some, you stand a short distance keeping an eye on him.
“You made it,” said a voice as a figure emerged beside you. You smiled at Willy who was positioned just as you were towards the colorful wall.
“Of course I did. I wouldn’t miss it for anything.”
You watch for a moment as your son collects snacks, putting them into a bag that was provided. You were so occupied with him that you hadn't realized Willy was holding out one of his own creations for you.
“A chocolate flower for the lady.”
“It doesn’t have any yeti sweat does it?” You asked, eyebrow raised. You were lucky enough that you hadn’t managed to eat any of the poisoned chocolate last time.
“No, no yeti sweat.”
Beaming you take it and happily munch on it.
“So this place…is it everything you’ve dreamed of.”
He glances around taking it all in. The smiles on peoples faces, the way they’re in full enjoyment, but then his gaze returns to yours, “yes it is. But it’s strange.”
You tilt your head silently, allowing him to continue his thought as he turns his attention back to your son then you again. “I think…I think I have a new dream now.”
“Oh yeah? What’s your new dream?”
Willy’s eyes lock onto yours.
There are no words shared between you two but somehow you seem to understand what he means.

could you please do a little blurb of just taking care of wonka? Like after everything works out and he’s just stressed, just taking care of him like a massage and some tea:) and maybe a smooch or two? He’s so adorable
An Evening Of Relaxation
Tumblr media
Willy Wonka x reader
Words: 549
Tumblr media
“Hmm,” you hummed, eyes on the clock as this was his typical time of return.
He, being Willy Wonka of course.
Ah Willy Wonka the man who changed the fate for you along with many others. You’ve shared many memories with the man, and as you’ve grown close you’ve managed to capture each other’s hearts.
While you’ve tried multiple times to show your thanks for him in other forms, usually the plan would fail, due to unforeseen circumstances. However, today was different.
With things winding down recently after a few weeks of his shop being a success, you’ve noticed how strained he seems to be, or rather stressed as he’s always on the go, or always finding ways to improve his next delicious treat.
While you admired his work of course and all that he did, you knew, it was time for this man to take a much needed rest and he was going to take it, whether he liked it or not.
 Knock. Knock. Knock.
Ah perfect timing, you thought as you went to let Willy in.
In he came not wasting a second as he didn’t bother to remove his winter clothing, “what’s wrong? What happened?” He asked worried, due to you leaving a message with Noddle relaying that you needed his assistance. Which of course, was a lie.
Stepping up to the man you reached up pulling his jacket off, “what’s wrong is I have a love who deserves a night off,” you finish with a tap of his hat before you take that off as well.
Willy’s lips tug a little revealing a knowing smile, “while I appreciate the thought—“
“Uh, uh, uh, don’t give me that. How’s your work been at the factory?”
He tilted his head, his lips curling down in thought, “it’s been going well.”
“Exactly! So things are going well, and now it’s time for a break.”
Reaching for his hand you guide him over to the single furniture that you were currently using as a lounge couch, despite it having its various uses.
Leaving him on the couch you return a few steps away to finish preparing the tea you were making.
“I know but I feel like I should work on my next big idea for chocolate.”
“After everything you’ve done, you deserve to reward yourself even if just for a single night. You’ve done more than enough.”
He stayed quiet allowing you to win this argument for once.
“You know what helps? Tea,” you announce turning around and handing him a hot cup of his favorite tea.
“Thank you,” he commends pleasantly, while taking the drink.
Smiling down at him, you nod, “now, in your time of relaxation, what would you like to do? You want a massage? Wish to read? Anything you want, just don’t say ‘make chocolate.’”
Willy chuckles for a moment before taking a sip from his tea in thought, “what I want…is to sit here with you,” he pats the empty spot right beside him and while fighting a sappy grin from overtaking your expression you sit snugly against him.
He tilts his head down, placing a gentle peck against your head.
“This is the best reward I could ask for.”
“As could I,” you add shifting around to give him a proper kiss.

Too Sick To Celebrate
Tumblr media
Willy Wonka x reader
Words: 1253
Tumblr media
You were fine. It was all fine. Everything was fine.
Is what you told yourself as you felt a cold chill run down your body while you blew your nose into a tissue.
You woke up that morning feeling nothing unusual excluding a few coughs here and there plus a scratchy throat.
But by the time you’ve finished setting up decorations for the celebration that you’ve been planning, what was originally just a tiny cough and scratchy throat, turned into shivers and a runny nose.
But nothing was going to ruin this day.
“Yes, that looks perfect right there,” you announced, having Piper and Abacus finish setting the last of the chairs.
“He is going to be so thrilled,” you whispered, clapping your hands together in admiration of the way it all was coming together, that is until you let out a not-so-pretty sneeze.
“Ugh,” you groaned, wiping your nose with a tissue you had handy in your pocket.
“That didn’t sound so good,” came a voice from beside, causing you to flinch at the unexpected comment.
“Oh geez Lottie,” you breathed out, placing a hand on your chest to relax, “you frightened me.”
She shares an apologetic smile, “that happens. But you don’t sound too good. Is everything alright?”
You waved your hand motioning it was no big deal, “I’m fine, just a little cold but it’s fine, thank you.”
Lottie opened her mouth but was interrupted by another voice that came from behind.
“What’s going on here?”
Smile tugging at your lips you turned around to face the young man.
Willy Wonka.
He was just about the most spectacular chocolatier you’ve ever met. With his skills, plus his passion and positivity, he’s managed to help you all in your escape from Mrs.Scrubbit and her wily contract. It was funny to think that only recently you were held captive by the old bat, and now, just a week later here you were celebrating a successful opening followed by a successful week of Wonka’s own shop.
“What are you doing here? You’re ruining the surprise,” you directed towards the boy.
Now the party was no secret so he was aware of it all, but he also was aware that you specifically told him not to help, being that the party was essentially for him. But of course knowing Willy wasn’t one to sit back and let others do the work, you’ve planned ahead telling him the incorrect time that you all were starting, yet somehow here he was, still earlier than agreed.
“Why are you here so early?” You questioned.
“Well, for one I knew you’d get here early, so I figured I’d come and help,” he glanced around at the practically finished decorations, “but I see I underestimated you.”
“That you did,” you said before another sneeze escaped your mouth.
“Woah, that sounds bad.”
“It’s fine,” you guaranteed turning your back to Willy, but he circled around leaning his face inches from yours, “and your cheeks, they’re darker than usual,” he pointed out, but you just shook your head dismissing the thought, “it’s cold outside, that’s why.”
You rotate away from him again, ignoring the shivers and the warm feeling that you were beginning to feel spread across your face, “I have to go get the cake!” You announced, allowing the others to hear, but Willy quickly placed himself in front of you. Pulling his scarf off he steadily wrapped it around your neck making sure it was nice and snug.
“I’ll get the cake, you head inside.”
You rejected his offer without a single thought, “this party is for you Willy. I’m getting the cake,” and with that you marched off but Willy continued to follow close behind.
With big strides, you hurried to get to your destination while a cough did its best to fight its way out.
“What’s the hurry?” He ran, catching up to your pace.
“There’s no hurry, I just want to get the…the…achoo! Cake,” you finished, managing to catch the sneeze in your arm.
Thinking back on it now, maybe having the party outside in this weather wasn’t the most ideal decision.
Despite his best efforts in suggesting your return back, you successfully pick up the dessert and begin your journey back.
It was halfway through the trip back that you began to feel slightly dizzy. Shifting direction you reached out for a nearby bench, pausing to take a break.
The chocolatier sat beside you with a concerned expression decorated on his face, “this won’t do. Let’s postpone the party, your health comes first.”
With your eyes lightly shut, you reply to the man, “we already prepared everything, if we cancel it now, everyone will just be disappointed. I’m alright, I just need a second.” After a moment of ease you propped yourself up, “onwards to the celebration!” You shout trying to lift the spirits.
Wonka once again followed behind, worried for your health but knowing in your stubbornness to listen.
Putting on your best face, you made it to the celebration. “Wait here,” you instructed, facing him away from the finished layout.
Once you’ve placed down the cake and everyone settled into position, you told him to turn around.
“Surprise!” Shouted the collective group of voices as he spun around. And taking in the sight a grin from ear to ear spread along his face. Despite him seeing most of the decor before, he still managed to appear genuinely surprised. “This is spectacular!”
“Well, we just wanted to show our appreciation for you Mr.Wonka,” said Abacus speaking on behalf of everyone.
“None of this could’ve happened without you all of course. Don’t just stand there, mingle, enjoy yourselves,” he ordered and no one hesitated to do so.
Willy gazed around the small group, a smile still prominent on his face until he spotted you.
You were propped on a chair a little ways away, blowing your nose into a tissue. His eyebrows lowered in thought with his lips pushed together and after a short whisper to Piper, he headed in your direction.
“Come on, let's get you out of here.”
You shook your head, “but the party,” you breathed out.
“Your health is my main priority right now. If you stay out here in the cold it’ll only get worse.”
You pressed your own lips together, mirroring his expression from earlier.
“I already told Piper, she’s agreed to take care of the cleanup.” He extended a hand towards you and although hesitant you took hold, knowing he was truthfully, right.
Despite your initial protests during the day, you were thankful to the man, not just for today but for all he’s done since you’ve met him.
And you made sure to let him know.
“You are a wondrous man,” you stated as he covered you with a quilt, making sure to tuck the fabric in on both sides.
“It helps to have such wondrous people beside you.”
Once again, he refused to take his credit, yet another thing you admire about him.
“I’m sorry I ruined today,” you whispered, eyes beginning to shut as the warmth from your own bed was starting to overtake.
“Are you kidding? Today was splendid.”
“Your words are too kind.”
“Kind people are deserving of kind words.”
You smiled weakly, unable to banter back.
With a few gentle pats on your head Willy leaned back allowing you to rest.
You didn’t know how but you were going to make it up to him.
You were sure of that.

Food Not For The Fainthearted
Tumblr media
Adam Warlock x reader
Words: 1378
Tumblr media
“Okay sit down, but keep your eyes shut,” Adam instructed as he placed you in front of a chair.
Your smile deepened as he did so, clear excitement audible in his words.
Adam has only been on this skull planet for a year now but he hadn’t really made a true friend on this planet until a couple months in when he met you. You made him feel welcomed here. With you he wasn’t at all embarrassed or fearful that you would judge him if he didn’t know a common thing, being that he was only taken out of his pod recently.
One of the things he enjoyed about you was that you truly took the time to explain things to him and then let him analyze things. One of the things he explored with you was food. Now of course Adam knew what food was and its purpose. He just wasn’t aware there was such a variety of sustenance. With you he discovered his likes, dislikes, how to mix some foods together in recipes, it was truly all new to him. But after some time he gained the hang of it.
He was so grateful towards you, which is why he wanted to express his thanks. And he thought, what better way than to cook you a meal. Which is what brought you to where you are now, sitting in front of a meal with your eyes closed. He had no help from you and didn’t even give you a hint as to what the meal was, clearly wanting the dish to remain a surprise…until now.
“Okay open your eyes,” he encouraged and as soon as your lids opened, (after blinking at the sudden light), they shifted downwards towards the plate placed in front of you.
“Chicken stir fry?!” You asked not expecting this type of dish.
“Not just any chicken stir fry. Spicy chicken stir fry,” he corrected, proudly. At the mention of that the crinkle around your eyes relaxed while you tried to keep your smile on display, “oh wow, spicy chicken stir fry…” you repeated.
Yes, you and Adam had tried different foods together and you were the one to introduce him to different spices and such but it seems that he didn’t notice how you never actually ate any of the spicy foods. It wasn’t the fact that you just didn’t like it, it was more of the fact that some of the spicy items would inflame your taste buds which just wasn’t exactly your favorite feeling in the world.
But were you going to tell this poor man who looked just so eager for you to try the first dish he’s ever made? Of course not.
“It looks appetizing,” you stated, which was the truth.
“Thanks, I can't wait for you to try it.”
After making sure you had a glass of water sitting beside you, you stuck the utensil into the dish making sure you got enough. Lifting up the portion you smiled at Adam who was watching you eagerly. And with that final glance you put the portion in your mouth.
It took all of your acting skills, (which wasn’t exactly the best), to give a smile and pretend it was all okay. Granted the food was delicious but you could already feel the heat sticking to the back of our throat.
“Mmm, delicious,” you said, mouth hiding behind your hand as the food just hovered in your mouth. Adam grinned widely as he looked down to take his spoonful. In the split second that he does you're already breathing out hot air, trying to do so subtly.
Obviously there’s no real way of breathing out subtly and Adam picked his gaze back up, looking at you questionably.
You waved your hand at him, “it’s just a little hot.”
“Oh, yeah I added extra sauce cause I really liked the kick it offered when we tried it awhile ago.”
Your eyes widened at the word extra before you composed yourself, “yup that explains it.” You could practically feel the taste buds on the tip of your tongue starting to appear bumpy, while your nose felt as if it had begun to run.
Placing your utensil down you take a sip of water, which of course barely helps, if it does at all. Setting the cup down you mentally give yourself a pep talk, he went to all this effort to make you a meal.
You got your utensil ready taking one more small amount in, of course this just causes more damage to the scene. Quickly swallowing the food, figuring that was better than spitting it out you then grabbed the water before gulping it down leaving just about less than half.
It was when you placed it down and met Adam’s eyes that you realized just how crazy you probably looked.
“Are you okay?” He asked, looking concerned.
You debated for a split second if you should just tell him the truth or pretend everything was okay. You didn’t want to crush his feelings but you didn’t want to burn yourself as well.
You placed your utensil down, a little more aggressively than you expected, but you blame that on the burning sensation, “Adam this meal is delicious. It’s beautiful, so well put together, I love it.”
His body physically perks up at your words, his shoulders straightening out.
“But my body just doesn’t get along well with spicy foods.”
Judging from the expression that overcame his face this seemed like news to him, “what do you mean? We’ve had spicy foods together.”
“Yes…but no,” his eyes looked up in thought clearly trying to recall that day while you continued, “when we tried spicy foods, you ate all the food, I just sort of recommended and watched.”
Adam’s jaw dropped.
“Oh that’s just terrible.”
“It’s fine,” you coughed out, throat hot, “it’s still delicious.”
“No, not the food. The fact that you are always being so kind to me, teaching me my likes and dislikes, and I clearly haven’t been paying any attention to you!”
“Oh please Adam…” you tried to brush off it wasn’t really a big deal.
“No it’s true. I don’t know your likes, your dislikes, I don’t even know you!”
“You know me—“
Adam’s eyes turned into an intense shade of yellow before they practically lasered your plate into dust.
“How dumb must I be that I didn’t even notice you don’t like spicy food!”
Apparently this was hitting him a lot harder than you expected.
“That’s it…” you pushed your napkin to the side as you slammed your hands on the table standing up while you did so. That caused his own tantrum to pause.
“You are not dumb! The fact that you say that infuriates me! You were just excited in trying new tastes that’s all.”
It wasn’t much but that seemed to do the trick as his next words seemed less angry and more disappointed, “I’m just upset because I want to know you. I want to know your likes and dislikes. This whole time I thought we were getting closer but you’ve just been getting closer while I’ve been standing in the same exact spot.”
You hadn’t realized he felt so deeply about this—about you in that way. Maybe he wasn’t the only one who hadn’t noticed things.
“Just cause you don’t know my likes doesn’t mean you don’t know me. You know me Adam…” he still looked dejected, obviously upset about his lack of awareness. “Okay look, you can start learning things about me right now. Better late than never right?”
Adam pondered this over. “Plus you just found out something I don’t like, spicy food!”
His head shifted from side to side mulling this over before ultimately agreeing, “…okay,” he said, a sly smile sneaking its way onto his face.
“There we go, now that's a better attitude,” you grinned before your eyebrows pushed together suddenly focused on the burnt ash on the table. “I know you were upset but you didn’t have to go and burn the food you’ve made, it was still delicious.”
Adam’s smile turned into a more bashful one, “yeah it was a bit dramatic…But come on, let me make you something you will like.”

Hi! Could you write a Hank McCoy x Reader fic with one of these dialogue prompts? (Whatever you feel like)
5. "God, you always make me blush so damn much." (Nicholas Hoult is always blushing so I thought it would be nice if Hank did as well)
23. "Wait...are you making pancakes? Can I help?" (He seems like the type of person who cooks)
25. "Have you been drinking enough water?" (He is a doctor)
I'm pretty sure I read every fic with him in this site and I want more.😂
Doctor’s Orders

Hank McCoy x reader
Number 25: “Have you been drinking enough water?”
(Reader is AFAB)
Hehe I couldn't decide so I did all of them, sorry it took so long, I went through like a no writing phase but I think I'm slowly returning
Tumblr media
Sometimes you hated having a uterus. More specifically you hated it when it was that time of the month. How you hated even being born whenever that time hit and of course that was today.
Instead of listening to your body and wallowing in pain as the cramps hit hard that morning, practically almost making you spit up your dinner from the night before, you put on your adult shoes and chose to be productive around the X-mansion as you usually did.
Most days weren’t so bad, you’d help with the younger level kids here and there before you did some of your own training but today? Today they were rowdy for whatever reason, maybe the weather, all you knew was that you wanted this week to be done already.
You tried your hardest to just be there, be present as you seemed to be running around all day at different peoples beck and call when all you really wanted to do was curl up and scream but of course that wasn’t like you. So you had to plaster a fake customer smile. But you could even barely do that anymore as halfway through the day you decided your body couldn’t take it anymore. So you went to the one place you knew no one would bother you.
The labs.
Most of the time it was just Hank in the labs and you of course didn’t want to bother him when he may be working but then again he was your boyfriend and you were in a lot of pain. So you went.
You entered his labs slowly and peeking around the entrance, you saw that luckily he wasn’t dealing with any chemicals at the moment.
“Thank god you’re working,” when he worked that meant everyone knew not to disturb him, well everyone but apparently you.
His arms set down whatever thingamabob was in his hands, “please come in why don’t you?”
You did realize it was rude, “sorry,” you mumbled out as you backed up into the nearest corner and squatted down. With your knees to your stomach you instantly felt better even if only just a little.
With your head tucked into your legs you could just feel the strange sight he most certainly had on you. “Don’t mind me…” you breathed as a big cramp just made its way, “just go about your way, I promise I’ll be quiet.”
“If you think I’m going to be able to focus while you’re scrunched up in the corner like that you’re absolutely crazy.”
“I’m fine,” you said, your voice muffled.
You didn’t see it but you could tell Hank was staring at you. But he was staring at you not with disbelief more with worry.
“What is it?” He asked.
“Nothing just got my period this morning, I’ll be fine.” Typically this only happened to you on maybe the first two days and usually you just toughed it out.
Suddenly an overwhelming cramp could be felt in your lower stomach area, you groaned as you leaned forward, your knees now against the floor with your forehead touching the floor “…just give me a moment,” you said, refusing to move from that spot with your arms clutching your body.
“Have you been drinking enough water?”
Ugh. That question wouldn’t have annoyed you if the answer was yes. But it’s not your fault everyone seemed to need your help left and right.
“Maybe half a bottle so far,” you said.
His mouth drops, “that’s not nearly enough.”
“Yeah yeah, thank you doctor,” you cut off, still hurting.
You don’t pay mind to the noise you hear shuffling before you see a bottle being held out towards you.
You reach out, taking it with a thanks. “Wait here,” he commands before he turns around. Not like I have much choice, you thought as you closed your eyes again feeling a little bit better as the cramps randomly subside for a moment.
Pretty soon you hear Hank’s footsteps come back and you begin to hear shuffling beside you. Curious, you open your eyes and watch as he sets down a blanket beside you. Then a makeshift pillow made out of a jacket.
He didn’t even have to say anything and you moved there willingly. You didn’t care that the floor was hard underneath, you were just glad to lie down somewhere.
While you lay there on your side feeling like garbage he hands you a warm heating pad which you gladly take and he moves the water bottle closer to you before he takes another blanket and covers you with it.
“Drink your water and let your body take a break,” he adds.
Once he makes sure you’re all settled his eyes catch yours as you lay with a smile on your face.
“What?”
“You love me,” you sing-song almost like a kid would.
Although a grin starts to tug at one of the corners of his lips he reaches out dragging his hand down your face closing your eyes in the process as you would a departed person.
“Get some rest.”
Your eyes open again as you watch him leave your side to return back to his work. ‘He loves me,’ you teased once again in thought as you snuggled with the blanket and heating pad.
