Your work is gorgeous! What inspires it?

Ooof that's a big question haha

I guess a lot of it is just the art I enjoy, lots of comics and videogames in the mix definitely, but also any movie, show, music, theatre... it all adds up in the end. And I learn a lot from artists on the internet (I keep track of stuff I like over at my inspiration tumblr )

To highlight a few things, I've always gotten a lot of inspiration from games like Monster Hunter or Zeldas, I also love FromSoft and Hollow Knight big time. And some of my latest fav comics are Nightcry by Borja González, Dorohedoro by Q Hayashida or Children of the sea by Daisuke Igarashi.

But a lot of it is also just life? My relationships with my friends, our conversations, trips, a bike ride, a dance night. My most personal work, I do it first for me but I also kinda with my dearest friends in mind, somehow hoping they'd enjoy it, you know?

could you explain/ point out every game referenced in your illustration for loop about breaking the fourth wall in games?? i love it so much and i'm pretty sure i've seen all of them but i must make sure !!!

Oh sure! I'll try to go left to right, top to bottom:

For starters, the drawing is set on one of Stanley Parable's desks.

The photos on the wall: one portrays sans from Undertale, and the other is a selfie of Chell and potato GLaDOS from Portal.

The little box on top of the computer screen is the infamous cardobard box from Metal Gear.

You can see the adventure line from Stanley Parable all over the illustration.

The flower on the left represents Flowey from Undertale.

The mug with tools in it has the Fox logo from Metal Gear.

The "Press F" post-it note is in reference of that one Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare scene.

There's a Monika figurine from Doki Doki Literature Club.

Then there's also... cake. From Portal.

The paper below the keyboard has a poem written on it in reference to Doki Doki's poems.

This year I got to work on a tabletop RPG doing some MonHun inspired characters and it was a ton of fun ✨ The game revolves around the wilders, mutated rangers that try to stop the frenzy, a virus that makes monsters violent and self-destructive. Not only hunters but also chefs! WILDERFEAST is live on kickstarter right now, you can check all about it and support it here!

Brainwash Gang commissioned me to draw these characters portraying the streamers that would take part in the Friends vs Friends international tournament!

Friends vs Friends is Brainwash Gang's latest game: a shooter combined with deck-building elements with different animals as the protagonists.

It was delightful to work on this, especially because I got to work closely with Iván Papiol, that art-directed and built these cards for the announcements.

Meet Dahlia, the Daggersmith! A Warrior Witch from the Daemonic Desertlands, specialized in crafting ritual blades for all kinds of purposes.

@deconstructeam commissioned me to draw this comic about a character from their upcoming brand new game: Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood! It releases August 16th and I'm highly recommending to go check it out and wishlist! Good stuff!

Had the chance to work on some merchandising for the play Elisa e Marcela, by A Panadaría.

If you remember, I've drawn a comic about this same story myself, so it's very special for me since it ties to my Galician roots as well as my own queerness.

The incredible people of this theatre company were very kind and helpful to me when I asked them some doubts years ago while I was working on the comic. So I was delighted when they asked me to draw these for the closing tour for their play.

This was a blast and so much fun, honestly.
