I currently don’t have an online store, I would love to in the future but I’m not quite ready for the setup at the moment!

Hi, will your designs for Paleo Pines still be in the game? Or are all your associations being removed? I really love those designs you just posted, but I'm wondering if your freedom to post them means they've been scrapped from the project.

I can’t really give an answer to this since I’m no longer involved with production. I don’t know what stage the project is currently at, but Italic Pig has promised to keep the original artistic vision intact.
(Plus I’m really proud of those two designs, so wanted to share them as concept pieces, otherwise I would wait for an official reveal.)

Pteranodon and Dimorphodon

Y’all asked for some more PPines concept art! You may recognise these fellas from a livestream several months ago. These two are hands down some of my favourite designs I did for the game. More thoughts under the cut below!

I’m a long time dinosaur enthusiast, and I always adored pterosaurs, but they are certainly unfamiliar territory for me. Their anatomy is unlike anything else, and they were the most challenging to design for Paleo Pines. I wanted to ensure that they were accurate to their true life counterparts, but still cartoony and stylised, with simplified shapes and exaggerated, cute features.

Designing the wing patterns was definitely the most fun! For example, the pteranodon is inspired by a variety of sea birds, whilst still keeping some of the more flashy colourful patterning.

As always, these are concepts and may appear differently in the final game. I am no longer involved with production, but I’m looking forward to seeing how the pterosaurs turn out in-game!✨
