Excuse my hair.

Completely finished a dress! I still have to do the zigzag thing in the back and sides so that it wont come apart while im wearing it, but Im so proud of myself! the neckline and sleeve lines look a mess, but it fits. 

I had the pressure on weird and it bunched up in the back and sides and for some reason I didnt think to change it until I got to the neck line ( shows how much of a beginner I am)

So here it is, I HATE my arms out, so I have this sheer black thing I can throw over it, and if I get TOO hot, well hey at least my pits will be shaven!

Okay, i made a long dress

But the fabric may be too hot... Sooo maybe today since its raining soo much and it's finally coolish, I'll make a short dress, and I'll pick from my favorite fabric piece or go to the other goodwill and see if I can find something nice there after work.

I still have to finish the sleeve and redo to the hemline ( maybe).

I 98% finished a dress! All thanks to the link here. She showed me step by step how to sew the neckline, and I just took what I learned here to sew the sleeve line! (Sleeveless dress) 

I did one sleeve and then remembered I had to still hem the dress.Picture soon even though its sewn terribly. I may still wear it to the pride parade, hopefully it wont be too hot!

I was starting to think they forgot about me...

I spoke too soon, I finally got emails from Lee, and since the last time I've talked to him (FEB), I've had thoughts of not going, I graduated college in May and I got my statement about what I owe in student loans, I was set, 'Im not going'. The Money, the MONEY. So much money, I cant afford it, but im young, that's what people are telling me. So maybe I should go, I have to respond to him, he is telling me about some companies (not specific ones though) About what they want of me, one has to do with documentaries, I LOVE docs, but what if it's unpaid that would SUCK! but it would be awesome experience.

But I think paid should be my top priority, should I still go in sept? That was the date they gave me, what if I gotta change it.

IDK what to do you guys, i want to go, but literally the only reason keeping me in the state is the money, not the traveling, not the flying, not being alone, it's just the money.

I want to travel, I want to explore, I want to not worry about money,

ugh American money problems...

It's been an eternity since I've DIY'd anything. Haven't sewn, haven't done squat diddly. I went it topshop today with my friend and saw these flower headbands. I've been wanting to do this DIY forever but today my friend was literally like "you can make those" I already bought these flowers and headbands before. So that's why they're so tiny and the head band is so big. Idk but I liked the way it came out, even though the hot glue got on everything and sometimes too much like picture 5 there. My next one , I will try to do the crown instead of the band. I'm excited to wear this beaut! It was crazy easy, just clip the bottoms of the flowers so that they are flat but not falling apart.
