Alebrije

Alebrijes are mythical creatures from Mexico in bright colors and patterns. This is my alebrije which is inspired by the four animals armadillo, guanaco, finch and aoudad.

The first time that I remember taking notice of this Mexican creature was, if I remember right, after watching the amazing movie “Coco” from 2017.

Wilmer Whippet - My Best Friend

A little more than 8 years ago I went to pick up my first dog, a little whippet I named Wilmer. He and I have been through so much together that it feels like he has always been there by my side. Lurcher portrait

This is a somewhat old portrait I made in watercolor of my moms lurcher. My mom adopted a lurcher from Ireland almost 2 years ago, her name is Alva but she is also called Cookie, Alven (means “the Elf” in swedish) and Pepper (that was her original name). She loves food more than anything and running like a silly fool in the garden.

Alva has been scared of all kind of things such as her own shadow, darkness, other dogs, weird people and normal people, but she has become much better (even though she still has her moments of crazy).
