Hello everyone,
I have decided to stop posting here and on my main blog @tanyushenka The reasons are strictly personal. I will not deactivate my accounts: too many valuable posts I have made here over the years on both accounts, especially, on @tanyushenka  I do not want to just vanish. Too much hard and devoting work, researches and time I spent to just waste it and throw into nothing. I am sure, many people have and still will get enriched intellectually, from the materials I shared.  Enjoy my old text posts, other people’s photographs I shared with you, ocean views I personally took, and my books, I published with the posts on @finitalacommedia I created you can find the links to in my pinned post. Perhaps, I will come back here, – perhaps, – but not in the nearest future, for sure.  I thank all 20K+ followers. I wish you all a great health.  @finita–la–commedia

Favourite films? :)
ohhhhhhh It is like asking “favorite books” ? If I read 5 books in my entire long life or watched 5 movies in my life, I could have answered this question !  I can only answer about the latest movies I have watched or those I have watched again numerous of times lately:  “The Reader” (2008) -- highly recommend it. I watched it, perhaps 40 times )))  “Queen Of Hearts” (2019) -- the same -- must watch, it is Danish. I also have watched it many times lately. The subject has a personal meaning to me, as well as, the movie “The Reader”. A good lesson.  “Life And Fate” (2012) -- a masterpiece of the Modern Russian cinema.  “Hôtel du Nord” (1938)    “After Life” (1998) “My Night at Maud's”, 1969 “Benvenuta” (1983) “Captive” (2008) it is on youtube with the English subs about the Chechnya war “La femme d'à côté” (1981) -- highly recommend it, it is French  “Unforgivable” (2011) “Lulu” (2014) “ Ali: Fear Eats the Soul “ (1974) “ The Lovers of Montparnasse “ (1958) “Modigliani” (2005) “At Eternity’s Gate” (2018) “Indochine” (1992) “Alejandra” (2013) “The Forty First” (1956) “Anna Karenina” (1967) -- exactly the Soviet-Russian version -- it is a pure masterpiece, not that with Keira Knightley, who absolutely was unfit for that role, with that constantly half opened mouth she is convinced and thinks, it is attractive or sexy. She did a horrible job and ruined the novel. Poor Lev Tolstoy ! If you want to see what Tolstoy’s novel is really is in the movie -- watch that version, the Soviet one.It is on youtube with the English subs. THIS is the real Anna Karenina, her husband and the lover. The actor who played her Lover has died today of Covid. The news just broke about an hour ago. He was 87. He was great in “Anna Karenina”: Vasily Lanovoy.  “Partir / Leaving” (2009) “ Lou Andreas-Salomé “ (2016) La Vie En Rose (2007) “Carol” (2015) “Wings of Desire” (1987) “A Streetcar Named Desire” (1951) “Heart Of A Dog” (1988) “We’ll Live Till Monday” (1968) “In The Cart”, based on the Anton Chekhov’s story “You don’t know Jack” (2010) “Hour of the Wolf” (1968) Burnt by the Sun (1994) Burnt by the Sun 2: Exodus (2010) -- both are the masterpieces of the modern Russian cinema about Stalin’s times and WW2. An astonishingly powerful movie.  And there are SO many more ! I like the French cinema a lot. Many movies I listed above, you can find with the English subs on youtube or on ok.ru website, you don’t have to sign up and, strangely enough, about 80% of the movies on that Russian website ... have the Arabic subtitles ! In fact .. you can find nearly ANY movie, starting with the silent ones to those that were released a week ago. You don’t have to download them .. just lick on “play.” Like this one, the Russian movie with the Arabic subtitles ... about the World famous in the whole history of the hockey, the Russian hockey player, Valeri Kharlamov, “Legend #17″ (it was his number on the shirt): Watch this great movie ! He got killed in a car crash at just 33.

Hello there :) Can you recommend any source for islamic art? Could be a website blog or anything.
Hello, As the sources for Islamic art, I use museums and galleries. Many have “Islamic art” departments. Just one example: The Met Museum ( The Metropolitan Museum of Art). Type in search “Islamic” and you will get over 4000 items: https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search#!?q=Islamic You can filter the results, if you wish. And so with other museums. National Museum of Asian Art has over 700 artworks: https://asia.si.edu/?s=Islamic&collection-area=arts-of-the-islamic-world&search_context=objects&post_type=tms_object Here is the list of museums of Islamic art: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_museums_of_Islamic_art    Also, you can type on Google: “Islamic art Museum” in search and you will get a very long list of museums all over the World, which have “Islamic art” departments or Islamic art Museums.
