Do you have any suggestions for offerings/ways to worship Brigid? Particularly Brigid as a pagan goddess, I know she was later included into Catholicism as a saint because pagans loved her so much! Also would love anything that focuses on low energy things as I’m chronically I’ll and disabled! This would mean a lot to me! I’ve done lots of research on my own but brain fog can be difficult to deal with! Thank you and no rush!
Hi my love! As a disabled babe also, I get what you mean and I'd love to help out!
Offerings and Worshipping Lady Brigid
Tumblr media
First thing I found is actually that Brigid is associated with water and springs so water would be a perfect offering
Stay hydrated!
Light a candle for her! Brigid is associated with fire!
Bonfires or food related gatherings with friends/families/partners
She is associate with the Hearth/Home. The hearth is often immediately assumed to be the kitchen as wood stoves historically provided warmth for the families but now your hearth can be wherever you feel most comfortable and at home 🧡
Eat good meals!
Celebrate imbolc! Simmer pots are a great smelling, low energy way to do that!
Florals! Flowers flowers flowers everywhere! Brigid is associated with Spring!
Wear floral scented perfumes and floral dresses or shirts
Straw/hay was actually commonly used to welcome Brigid and her gifts into the home and would make a great offering!
Brigid is a goddess of protection and fertility so if you're trying for a baby! Do it to honour her
Alternatively! Take your birth control as an offering
Practice safe sex!
Brigid is revered as a healer, so take your meds babe!
Brigid is also associated with poetry and wisdom which means reading or writing poetry in her honour is a great offering for her
Domesticated animals are also sacred to her so take care of your furry, scaly and slimy friends
Dyeing your clothes, knitting or crocheting
Brewed drinks such as coffee, tea, beer or mead
Cow imagery (especially white cows)
Practice divination

hello!! i was wondering if you have any ways to worship Sol/Sunna, her brother (Mani) and Loki?
Offerings and ways of Worshipping Sól / Sunna
Tumblr media
Associated runes: Dagaz and Sowelo
Offerings of Cider, Mead, Apple juice and orange juice
Like many solar deities, sunflowers and sun imagery are always a good idea!
In Germanic mythology Sól is considered the personification of the sun, meaning just spending some time outside in the sun would be perfectly acceptable!
Citrus is always good for sun gods and goddesses, lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruits, pomelo, kumquat, mandarin and clementine are all good!
Show respect to the land!
Pick up rubbish! Plant a garden! Go eco friendly! Bamboo brushes! No single use plastics! Every little bit counts 🧡
Donate to charities that help the environment such as tree planting, community gardens, wildlife protection, ocean clean ups, ozone protection! Pitch in too if you can!
Horses and Chariots!
Plants 🪴 are great offerings! Put them on her altar! Take care of them in her honour
Wear warm/summer colours
Sunna is a healer! First aid courses, learning old helping practices and remedies and even just taking care of yours and other physical health is amazing!
Know a good source recipe for when your sick? Perfect idea for an offering
Sunna embodies, energy, motivation and enthusiasm, carry these feelings with you always (as much as you can)
Have a candle on her altar! She gave the gift of fire! Its important to honour that
Celebrate the solstice!
Sun tea!!! 🌞
Honey
Hibiscus
Hope this helped! Sol/Sunna is hard to find information on so communicate with her directly and collaborate on offering ideas

Do your shadow work (this can mean going to therapy)
Visit cemeteries
Visit museums with Egyptian and Mummy exhibits
Reflect on your thoughts and feelings about death
Offerings related to mummification! Like mummified statues and figurines
He's also fond of dog related items! Such as dog toys, dog collars, spending time with pets etc
Foster some doggos! Or donate to rescue shelters, anything you can to help take care of dogs (the Sacred animal of Anubis)
Do protection work with him or in honour of him! Anubis was a divine protector

I'm finding myself drawn to worshiping and building a relationship (is that the right word for it? My brain tonight... I swear...) with Freyr. I don't have an issue with the erotic/virility/fertility aspects of His mythology. I am all about s*x and self love and body positivity!
But my question does stem from an aspect of Freyr's domain - fertility - I'm not looking to have children. I don't want to get pregnant. I am childless by choice, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Could that hurt, or inhibit my ability to honor and worship Freyr? Or could the fertility also be directed towards my garden? Does it just have to do with procreation?
Relationship is absolutely the correct term! As for your concern about fertility, fertility can also mean abundance or prosperity, often used in terms of money, love and I see no reason why it cannot mean plants as well (ie an abundant harvest.) Especially with how much love and time I know you must put into your garden! I think it would be a beautiful way of signifying fertility!

Food: figs, bread, dates, cheese, butter and beer
Alcohol! Both as an offering and as a beverage for yourself and the people you love!
One of Hathor's epithets is actually "The Lady of Drunkeness" because after Sekhmet's wrath, her bloodshed leads her to Ra's river of "blood" at Dendera/Dandarah (Sekhmet's sacred site and later Hathor's), that is actually dyed beer where she drinks until she passes out and wakes as the peaceful Hathor
Fresh water!

Gems/metals: turquoise, malachite, rose quartz, gold and copper
Flowers
Dance
Art!
Work with, commune with and be kind to the dead
Clean graves/other kind acts for the dead
Keep a gratitude journal!!
If/when you can, support women by donating to shelters, buying from women owned businesses etc
Hathor is the goddess of beauty and cosmetics!! Wear some makeup! It's a wonderful way to honour her

Thank her for being the watchful eye of Ra
Poetry and stories of your own writing
Passages from her mythology
Self care (setting boundaries, showering/bathing regularly, skin care etc)
A ritual cleansing bath with rose petals, jasmine and lavender including prayers in Hathor’s honor (Hathor was linked to water and the Nile River)
If you’re an artist or crafter, create art with cows and bovine horns dedicated to the Egyptian Goddess of Love (creativity is a reverent form of offering)
Ask her to send you a message while performing a mirror, ink or oil scrying session (these were traditional methods of divination in Ancient Egypt)
Crafting and drinking an herbal tea using herbs from ancient Egypt and add a little milk (sacred to Hathor)
Rise and greet Hathor at dawn, since she’s known to birth the morning sun; you can also use this time to invoke her loving, fertile qualities and birth those hidden aspects of yourself
Romantic love and passionate intimacy can be knowingly dedicated to Hathor (stand at her altar and tell her beforehand!)
( source for rituals ^ )
Learn her epithets and their origin such as, "Lady of Drunkeness" , "Lady of turquoise" and "Lady of the West
