I find the idea of keeping Funko Pops forever sealed in their box to be kinda dumb. They should be out, about, customized, get a couple dings, get a bit sunkissed, get repaired, go through a bit of roughness... it shows that they were loved. Just like other knickknacks and collectibles.

And so our strange little story concludes...

or does it? See, Crowley's got Crowley eyes, but little Aziraphale just got the default black button eyes, and well, he simply doesn't. And so, I got to thinking... "What if I fixed that?"

Taped up his face and gesso'd his eyes.

After the gesso dried, his pupils were sketched, and the color was picked and mixed : Storm Gray. Let him cure a full day, and it was on to actually painting him. It took several tries to get the lines remotely straight, but here's the 80% done phase.

All he needed was some cleanup on the rims of his eyes and pupils, as well as a nice matte finished seal.

And after doing just that...

I think they deserve a bit of rest after that long ordeal, don't you?

Been working on this off-and-on over two weeks, but finally got a nice pic for the 29th. Prompts are 2 and 19, since I like the idea that winged babies always got tiny chick-down in the first few months. Putting the pic under the cut, since there's not-very-graphic breastfeeding. So, I've seen Ineffable kids as birds, snakes, random animals... So I thought, 'Why not go full hybrid mythical beast?'

This was a very fun sketch, fusing aspects of The Feathered Serpent with a tsuchinoko, and giving them wings! Don't worry, I'll be drawing more Famfeb art, but I just wanted to draw some fluffy, squat sneks. As for a name for 'em, I'm not 100% sure, but either Uziel or Rose. XD

Might actually do a mass Famfeb post on the 29th, but I'm not sure.

Not the previewed pic, but a self-indulgent pic I was working on off-and-on

This was my sort of practice run in drawing the Ineffable Husbands, while also drawing a pair of deities/creation beings from some fun stuff I do beyond Tumblr. None of it is entirely serious, but I'd like to think that the two beings are kinda having a heart-to-heart over the events of S2. Though it'd probably be a tad more emotional than this. XD

If you could classify the type of blade Aziraphale uses, what would it be? It kinda looks like a gladius at a glance, but I'm not 100% sure.

I THINK I FINALLY GOT AT WHAT AZIRA WANTED!!! It came to me in a half-asleep brain bubble, but if it makes any sense as to why he was so adamant, then by Erastil I'll say it. With Supreme Arch Angel as his title, at least from how excited he was, was probably lied to by Metatron (by omission possibly), HE could define what a good Angel is! Crowley wouldn't HAVE to change who he is, because he'd be the blueprint, the gold standard. With that, Crowley would also be safe from Hell's reach, and with that status, he'd be safe from Heaven's as well! All this while they secretly thwart the machinations of Heaven. It'd be like a stirring spy/resistance novel! At least, that's more than likely what was going in his mind. In his excitement, it came out all wrong, much like Crowley's confession. And in the end, it broke both of them.

I love favoriting GO metas that develop the Ineffable couple's relationship/situationship/cockup, especially ones that highlight that yes, both of them need to develop their communication skills together, get on the same page, and that doesn't pin the blame on just one Celestial; they both effed up royally in the Final 15 in their own ways...

I just wish everyone knew that neither one wanted this outcome, but because of a deadly combination of both of their collective traumas and the powers that scarred them... we got what we got. Now, we'll just have to wait and see what Mr. Gaiman will do with the fallout...
